The Corridor outside professor Botros' office http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps89c97ca0.jpg |
On her way to have a chat with the runes professor, Sophie checked out the prefects' bathroom for the first time - it was actually a lot nicer than she anticipated, which was cool - and she briefly got caught up peeking inside the spirit room. Spooky in there, it was, and she eventually pulled herself away from its alluring aura to continue down the corridor to Botros' office. Sweeeet, sweet grandfather Botros. A little bit nervous for this forthcoming conversation, Sophie wiped her palms on the sides of her robes before raising a fist, hesitating briefly before knocking on the door, a smile slowly spreading across her face. Nerves aside, this was going to be a VERY GOOD CONVERSATION. |
different TLs i think probably maybe yes? Since leaving for school, Toby had paid zero attention to those 'last first -whatever-' traditions that marked the beginning of the end of his time here. He wasn't sad about them, not really. But THIS one, his annual start of term visit to Professor Botros' office for a catch-up, this one was at the forefront of Toby's mind. Wouldn't be doing this next year, would he? Still, he was refusing to be sad about it. Or maybe it was more that he wasn't sad at all, but had managed to convince himself that HE was the one keeping the emotions at bay. Point was, he was CHIPPER. After all, there would be many many MANY visits to his Head of House's office throughout the rest of the year. No need for sads. Toby reached the door, knocked in his signature way, then stepped back and habitually glanced at the small table with the reading material, at the comic books in particular, which hadn't been updated in all the time he'd been at this school. It made him smile. |

Botros was inside with his paperwork flooding his desk as usual, he heard knocking just as his crup jumped from behind the big rocking chair and attacked the door with his paws. "Come in, it's open!" The old man called out. Quote:
Still spending the majority of his time doing his paperwork and answering letters from different institutes and the Rune Masters Association, Abraham fixed his reading glasses on his nose and looked up at the door. "It's open." He called out, Feo had gone on a walk with one of the students. |
It had taken him nearly half an hour to find the office of the Ancient Runes Professor. Naturally he had asked a few students which way to go but somehow he had managed to use a secret passage way going to the dungeons. Still, he managed to find the place on the fifth floor with pure luck he guessed. He never had a strong sense for directions and he wondered if he would ever know the castle. But those worries were for later because he had another worry that he needed to discuss with three Professors. One of them being Professor Botros. He ignored the chairs in the waiting area and instead knocked on the door a couple of times. Then he did sit down and grabbed an old comic book. |

Botros was indeed inside his office, but this time he was having a cup of tea. Instead of sitting behind his desk, he was occupying the rocking chair by the put down fireplace. When he heard knocking, he lowered the cup on the saucer gently. "Come in." |
Kace was not here to talk about Ancient Runes. Oh no no no he was here to talk to his head of house about his career paths and choices. He wanted to know where he stood. As he made his way to Professor Bostros office he realized he was kind of early. There wasn't a lot of people here and he was grateful for that. He should be in and out. As he approached the door he knocked on the door with a.... Knockk.....knock.....knock.....knock.......knock.. ..... After a few knocks he waited on the couches and waited for Bostros to let him in. He admit he was quite nervous but he needed to do this. He sat there twiddling with his thumbs. |

Botros was in the office doing some of his paperwork. He fixed his glasses when the knock reached his ears and raised his eyes to look at the new visitor. "Come on in." |
