The Slytherin Dungeon, also known as Slytherin Common Room, is located behind a wall in the cellars of Hogwarts. To get into the common room you must first know the password to the room (it changes every fortnight) and then you must know which wall to whisper this password to.

If you don't know either, then you'll just be left standing there, literally talking to a wall. If you're not a lost Slytherin then I wouldn't bother trying to talk to the walls around here; they're quite damp from the humidity of the lake above and sometimes they make noises....

You can hang around the hidden entrance to the common room here (especially if you're waiting on a friend) but be careful... snake pits aren't pleasant places for outsiders.

Maggie stepped forward but didn't get too close to the wall yet. "You need to do a better job at cleaning." It HAD asked her if she needed anything so you know. "This is really gross." She nodded to the cobwebs and wrinkled her nose a little.

Like. They paid them to keep the castle clean right?!

Before heading up to the other areas of the castle, Lux thought it made sense to head down to the dungeons where the Snakes lived.

It wasn't as if she DISLIKED this part of the castle - the Potions classroom and lab were here after all - but it was still kind of creepy to her. Probably because of the negative connotation she had with dungeons as well as the damp and humidity. She did love the Slytherins though!

Besides, her favourite Professor had been in this House.

Glancing at the different walls, Lux wasn't really sure which one was the right one to use. It wasn't like the Gryffindor common room where there was a painting on the wall to tell her where the door was. Ehh. She'd stick it somewhere and hope that she was close enough to the entrance. Besides, the important thing was to get the attention of her fellow students.

Finding a nice section of wall in a location she felt would get some attention, Lux placed the poster against the wall. Using the Sticking Charm she adhered it in place.

Two posters down and three to go.

Mistress wants Quirly to do a better job. Quirly nods. She will try better with the dusts and cobbywebs. "Yes, mistress! Quirly will try!" Yes, she will! "Does mistress want a snacksies before Quirly clean?" Masters and mistresses always be wanting the snacks she finds.

Maggie liked the way the house elf addressed her. Like. A lot. Despite the fact that the little creature seemed to be unable to speak properly. Oh well. What a 'snacksies' was, she wasn't exactly sure either. "No." Okay she still had manners. And servants that liked you were better servants so. "No, thank you." There you go.

Could she go in now? Maggie gave the house elf a curious look while stepping closer to where the entrance to her Common Room was.
