The sixth floor corridor houses several empty rooms, as well as several busy ones, most notable of which is the Transfiguration classroom.
You can try all the doors you'll find on this floor, but most will be locked for their own reasons. There's no harm in conversing with the ugly grouchy old portraits surrounding them though.
Giving Henric a smile, Leah opened the gift bag nervously. She did not know what she was expecting to see. Muggle things, yes. She knew about electricity, telephone and uhhh rubber ducks. They were not things one would give a friend so NO.
But what the Puff found in the bag was - amazing. There was a stuffed bear, a small interesting looking wooden box and Muggle sweets. Her smile widened at the sight, even though she did not know the usage of some of the things. "Thank you so much, Henric. I LOVE these," she said, finally taking her eyes off the gift. It was really sweet of him to prepare things that he KNEW she would like.
Leah sat down on the floor and patted a spot beside her for Henric too. The Badger first took the stuffed bear out and observed it. "This is really cute!" Like SOMEBODY. She hugged it and grinned at the Fourth Year.
Henric made a sigh of relief in his head, it was so great to hear that she loved them. He grinned sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck,"No problem, it was nothing much really..." Henric shyly took a seat beside her and watched her pulled out the teddy bear. Henric cheeks reddened even more when Leah hugged the bear so adorably too. It was another side of her he didn't know she had.
Henric smiled,"That bear is not just an ordinary stuff toy,Leah, but it can repeat whatever you say to it too...here,just press the nose like this..."he told her, before showing her how it was done. "You speak to it...'Hello,Leah!'...and...wait for it to say it back to you,"Henric explained. The bear suddenly came to 'life' by repeating the same exact word but in a more childlike tone,"Hello,Leah!"
He looked back at Leah and chuckled,"See..it talks, now you try it,"he encouraged her.

Leah smiled, looking at the teddy bear. It was really cuddly. She wanted to imagine that this was Henric. Then she could hug him y'know, virtually. She wondered if he knew what she was thinking. Ugh, that would be embarrassing. She let go of the bear and looked at him as he spoke.
Her eyes widened at his explanation. WOW. So it was like - a recorder? That was so cool. Even as the Badger nodded along and watched the demonstration carefully, she could not help but jump slightly when she heard the bear repeat the exact same words. "This thing is amazing!" she grinned and took it back. Okay... now what to say? Something basic. She pressed down on the bear's nose softly before saying, "Hi, Henric. How are you doing?" Then she handed it back for the boy to listen.

It was looking more and more like Christmas and this made Peeves very happy. More things to have fun with. He had just taken tinsel off the trees and headed up the staircase when he found his first students.
"Lookie lookie what do we have here? Shouldn't we be off to classes not flirting in the corridor."
This was going to be fun.

Henric watched how Leah recorded her voice with the bear. He chuckled and waited for the bear to repeat what Leah's had said. It was funny hearing the voice recorder, it sounded more squeakier than the last.Maybe his voice was deeper when he recorded his voice. "I'm great thank you,"Henric replied, glancing over at Leah with a broad smile on his face.

Leah waited patiently for the bear to repeat her words, her smile not leaving her face. She did not know what exactly she was excited for, it was just... going to say what she had just said. Which was AMAZING OKAY. She laughed when a squeaky voice quite unlike the previous one greeted Henric. This was funny - if only her own voice sounded like that!
She sneaked a glance at the boy once, meeting his eyes. She felt like she had to say something at that moment, like ANYTHING. But what?
Then Peeves happened. Ugh PLEASE. He was always disturbing the PERFECT times when Leah was with somebody she liked. Like that one time in her Second Year. She frowned and was about to make a rebuttal when Henric did that for them. They were certainly not FLIRTING. They were friends… that was all. "He's right," she nodded. Leah did not feel the need to elaborate further.

Marsha was excited. So excited. REALLY REALLY excited.
Turtles.
Cutty had just found her and had said ”Do you like turtles.” She had given him a look that simply said DUH to which he had told her that Divination had just had a turtle. Pushing a ball. Around the room.
HOW was that even fair? She was a first year, she couldn’t be there. SIGH. So, here she was, running as safely as possible through the corridors to get to Professor Cassie’s office to ask if she could see the turtle. ‘Cause TURTLE. How cute.
She was glad she had lots of energy though, because she had talked to Cutty on the first floor and she hadn’t stopped running yet.

Come onnn. Almost there.
Cassie was headed down to the first floor with Bob the Box Turtle. Nessa just had to see him before she had to give him back to her brother. Just as she stepped down on the sixth floor corridor from the stairs she noticed a child.... running? Well that wasn't very good. Cassie enjoyed that students wanted to stay in shape, but in a corridor running wasn't the safest way to do it.
"Excuse me dear."
Walking a bit quicker her heels tapped on the floor to get a little closer to the child. Glancing she seemed like a first year. "You look like you are in a hurry to get somewhere, but could we maybe not run?" Giving a small smile to encourage her that this was a good thing, not a punishment.

WHEEE!
Skidding to a halt, Marsha jogged back to Professor Cassie. She’d obviously been so intent on getting to the towers that she hadn’t even realised it was the Professor walking towards her. ”Hi Professor Cassie!” The Welsh girl said with a huge grin on her face, not in the least out of breathe. Whoooo. How fun was running? Hehe.
”I was actually on my way to see you.” Marsha informed the Professor, a slight blush touching her cheeks. ”Sorry for running, I just didn’t want to miss it. I didn’t miss it did I?” She asked, glancing up and down the corridor towards the towers and where the Divinaton rooms were.
But. Wait. Hollllldddd. OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN.
Marsha blinked and grinned suddenly as she realised that Professor Cassie was holding a box. ”Is that the turtle?” She asked, rising up onto her tiptoes as if seeing the lid of the box would tell her. ”Cutty mentioned that you had a turtle in class? And I love animals and I wanted to see if I could see it before you sent it away? I was talking to Professor Quiggley about turtles only last week while he was helping me to learn how to cast fire you see and I’d love to see it if I could?”
WOAH MARSHA. Breathe. Let the nice Professor speak.

Peeves floated just above them looking towards the two. His cackles loud and echoing in the corridor as the boy though that would get him to go away.
"Students in the corridor are always up to something."
He swooped down grabbing the bear;
"Got your bear."
He cackled as he floated up just above their reach.

Zander was in the mood to do anything BUT homework.
... But unfortunately, he also had nothing to do BUT homework.
So here he was doing homework. And he was NOT happy about it.
So of course he decided just to do it as he went, figuring that he'd be walking down towards the kitchens anyways. This way he was really just knocking out two birds with one stone. Except he wasn't really sure what he wanted to color just yet. Until he got down one flight of stairs when he decided that he'd just stick to coloring the wall, maybe? Professor Quigley did say that was alright.
So here went nothing.
Actually, here did go something. Or at least here was about to go something. A red something. A red wall. Now wouldn't that look nice? Give the corridor some nice decor. Kind of reminded Zander of how Kevin always used to spray paint his logo everywhere. Merlin, Zander still missed that guy. ANYWAYS. Homework time. Right.
"Colovaria!" he pointed at the patch of wall right across from him, branding his wand towards the portion he wanted to color. Thinking only about red. Red, red, red, red, RED!! HA. First try and EVERYTHING. He was making an improvement. Quigley would be proud, Zander was sure.

She smiled as the first year looked up at her, "Hello" A very excitable one wasn't she? Cassie did enjoy the energy just bouncing off of her. This was what she wished all students had. A love for life and new adventure, though because of her Professor things she had to make sure they contained it in a walking fashion.
"See me?" She was curious, but excited, Cassie loved visitors. "Miss it? Oh gosh did you want to come to my lesson? I'm sorry sweetie it was earlier, but if you want to check out Divination to see if it's an elective you would like to take please come join us. I'd love to have you even for one lesson so you could observe." That would be great if younger students wanted to pop in to see if they would like her class.
Then she noticed her eyes, why where her eyes... Oh the frog! Cassie chuckled and opened the box. "Bob the box turtle. Cutty was correct I did have a turtle. We did a form of divination that use turtle shells. I brought Bob in just to show everyone a turtles behaviors." Never would she use his shell for a reading. Using his shell would mean he wouldn't be with them anymore and that would just be sad. "Oh he was?" She didn't know Maddox was into turtles, maybe he should have been at her lesson. That would have been interesting.

”Sorry for the running Professor.” She said after Cassie had acknowledged her. Whoops. She hadn’t realised she had been doing it… some days she just got too much energy and then felt like she needed to run EVERYWHERE. Whoops… but the Professor was right. She shouldn’t run INSIDE. Just outside, in the air. Wheee. That sounded fun too. Maybe she would go do that after this.
AFTER THE TURTLE. COULD SHE SEE THE TURTLE? PLEASE?
Marsha beamed at the Professor. ”I’ll come do that Professor. Maybe one of your lessons next year so I can see what it is like before I pick my electives.” She smiled, that was an amazing idea. She wondered if Professor Botros… or Professor Moxley would agree to that too. How cool would that be?
”Bob? That’s so cute.” She giggled. ”Turtles are really adorable. You think they would be slow, but they can move quite quickly to get to food.” GRIN. That, and they liked to attempt to climb. Attempt being the word as they couldn’t actually grasp on to anything to climb. Poor things, not like cats at all. Hehe…
Okay, kitten with turtle shell… the image was there and she couldn’t help but laugh at the thought. WHOOPS. She shouldn’t laugh, Professor Cassie might think she was laughing AT her, and that wasn’t right at all. ”Well, I asked him if we had any at Hogwarts.” That counted, right? Sure.

“No need to be sorry it is completely fine for this time, since you were coming to see me.” Giving a little wink she chuckled as she held the box with the turtle in her hands. So she might want to come join one of their lessons, oh good! “Fabulous! I look forward to seeing you. By all means please stop by anytime you wish. I love visitors.” Always having tea or hot chocolate ready for any quest that might show up, plus her room of serenity was another great place to relax as a staff or student.
“My brother names him, that’s whose turtle this is.” Sky always liked animals, which had been a plus for when she needed them for lessons. “They are and they are pretty laid back creatures, well most of them. Snappers aren’t too laid back, but no one really tries to go near them if they are smart.” Misunderstood creatures, but still not very nice. “I love watching them eat, the way they snap their heads quickly at the food. For such slow creatures they can grab onto a piece of lettuce so quickly.” Bob loved lettuce which she felt was good, if she had to feed it shrimp she might have not brought it with her.
She heard the laughing, but really didn’t think much of it. She loved laughter and would snap if she didn’t have a turtle in her hands. “Oh well that’s very nice. What did he have to say about it?”

Marsha grinned, nodding her head in agreeance that she had, indeed been running to see her but that she would also do her best not to run inside the castle again. Hehe, she couldn’t promise as she loved running… but she would do her best not too. Honest.
”It was super nice of him for letting you borrow him.” Marsha said looking up at the Divination Professor. ”I like his name, I wasn’t judging or anything… My pets are called Chestnut and Duchess and I named my Griffin Cadfael… oh and I named Adi’s faerie Boom!” The red-head giggled, clearly happy when it came to talking about animals. Marsha nodded her head, soaking in this new information about turtles. ”So is Bob a wet or dry turtle?” AKA, did he have an aquarium or a dry heated cage. She’d never seen either type of turtle up close but she was hoping that the Professor would let her see Bob before she went to meet her brother.
”He said there might be some turtles and ducks by some of the ponds on the grounds and then added that it was Hogwarts, anything could happen.” BIG GRIN. She hoped she could find some ducks or swans before she left. How magical were swans? Hehe. Even if they could be really defensive.
”I was coming to see you, to ask if I could see Bob before he went away?” Bounce. Bouncebounce.

Cassie listened to Marsha as she went on and on with the names of her pets. It was so super cute and Cassie couldn’t help but beam at the child. “It is nice that he is always willing to give me his pets, but he fully trust me. I have a small little talent.” She leaned closer to the girl, “I can hear and sense animals.” It was a gift that she knew children got a kick out of. What kid didn’t want to understand animals? “Those are some great names.”
Glancing at her hands she opened the box and let Marsha see the turtle. “He is a dry turtle, but does like the occasional water.” Her brother enjoyed giving him a bath, though Bob didn’t like it all the time. She couldn’t help but chuckle at what Maddox said to her, “Well he is certainly correct, though this time of year you aren’t going to find many just walking around.” It was way too cold for them to be out and about.
“Well it’s your lucky day. He is right here, though let’s just look at him for now and not touch.” He had been a bit crabby and she didn’t want him snapping at anyone.

Marsha gasped. And stared openly. And blinked. And stared more. ”Wooooooooooaaaaahhhhhh.” Blink. Blinkblink. ”Seriously?” She asked, forgetting momentarily that the woman was one of her Professors and wasn’t likely to be winding her up. ”I am SO super jealous.” Blink. JEALOUS. Like, REALLY jealous.
Marsha moved, shuffling a little closer to Professor Morgan so that she could see Bob. The TURTLE. Wheeee. Hehehe, turtles were cute. And quick snippy across a cage if food was involved. Or so she had read, anyway. Bouncing slightly, she waited to see inside the box. ”Oh, yeah… Some turtles can hibernate… right?” She thought… maybe? She was sure that book had mentioned something about sleeping over winter.
Her eyes went wide, and her grin widened even further (if that was even possible) as she saw Bob. ”Woah, his shell is so pretty.” She said, looking at the individual designs on Bobs shell; or should that be home? Hehe. She looked at its legs (did it have two arms or four legs like a dog) and its face. Gosh, it was cute. Though, not like kitten or baby bunny cute.. there didn’t seem to be a good word to describe him.. but she knew that was okay; ‘cause he was a creature and she adored them in general.

She couldn't help but chuckle. Children always enjoyed that special gift she held. "I've had it since I can remember. When I was your age I didn't understand it as much so I'd follow animals around these corridors." She'd be helping them without realizing it was them telling her things until she had gotten more in tune with it.
"Yes they have to, being cold blooded they can't handle the winter months." She'd hate to know how many suffered, but not Bob he was warm an cozy in his favorite box.
She watched as Marsha looked over Bob, bending down she lifted him from his box and placed him on the floor. "You can play with him a moment if you like. He's not fast enough to get fully out of our site here." Just as long as Peeves didn't come by. She glanced up at the thought.
Henric had his magnifying glass with him as he crouched down on the floor, searching for cobwebs and following them along the corridor. He had a theory maybe princess got hungry trying to find its way back, he wondered if she could have been eating flies or insects trapped in these cobwebs. They had already went through and searched some parts of the castle but still no sign of toad droppings anywhere too. Where could she be?
He turned his head back and called for llia who was busy posting missing toad posters on the walls,"llia, did you see any toad droppings over at your side?"

Ilia had been pasting up posters across the castle walls for some time, looking for their toad for what seemed ages. The webs that had been slowly consuming the castles left trails through here. She liked all creatures, but these webs were becoming a bit of a problem. She wondered why the teachers didn't seem to be able to control them and wondered if perhaps this was a sign of something not so good. Paste and smooth and.....done. Henric wanted to know what? Wait was she supposed to be looking for those? Like a trail of breadcrumbs? She doubted that would work but she gave a look around. "No, just webs......lots of webs......" It didn't seem healthy for there to be this much in the castle honestly. She saw the webbing increasing and leading to a room she didn't think that she had been in before. She looked to Henric and back at the door.........should they go in there? Was that a bad idea? It could be somewhere they hadn't checked. "What is that room there?" She pointed at the 'spare office'.
"Oh then, I'll keep searching over here, she's odd to give us some trails to her whereabouts, I keep mistaking them as rat droppings, they are totally different by the way, toad droppings are less firmer and can crumble easi- " Henric said but stopped himself when he realised he shouldn't talk about animal faeces in front of her.He grinned and resumed his 'sherlock' investigation.Hmm...he was thinking maybe they were swept away by the houseelves already. Also,it was too big of an area to cover the whole premises. It would take them weeks to find any sign of toad droppings but Henric will not give up on her.Nope. They were determined to find her until the end. Henric squinted his eyes trying to look through the magnifying glass as he examined the floor. How did they see with these things? Seriously...it made his eyes hurt.
He looked up when llia mentioned a room across the hallway. Henric shrugged,"Don't know...maybe an empty classroom, you want to check it out?"he asked her. It looked rather eerie...but you know everything here was creepy to him anyway and with all these cobwebs lying around, made it extra creepier.

As Henric began to describe the difference between rat and toad droppings, Ilia's eyebrows raised at him. Really? She had cleaned up after princess, this was not something she needed a refresher course on. He grinned and stopped, looking around again as she shook her head. "I know what they look like." She was just going to leave it at that, that was all that needed said in her opinion. It wasn't a subject that bothered her, but she also thought that it didn't need emphasis in this situation.
Did she want to check it out? "Not really.....but if we haven't been in there before we probably should." It was the truth, even if she wasn't happy about it. She started walking toward the room , steeling her nerves as she approached it.
