Sixth Floor Corridor

Saki :) Okay. Calm down, Leah. They were just meeting so that Henric could give her something. Not a big deal. Maybe she should have prepared a gift? something like that too. She was nervous for some reason, but was also excited to see the Fourth Year properly again. She knew that things happened to him in the Feast and as a friend she should have been by his side to make him feel better. Also, interesting muggle stuff. What could that be? After an Astronomy lesson, Leah walked down a flight of stairs and reached the place they had planned to meet. It seemed that she was early because she could not see Henric anywhere around. She leaned against a wall and brushed her hair out just one more time to make sure it looked good. |
Henric ish nervoussss. Quote:
Henric came out from his hiding spot and briskly walked towards her."Hey Leah!" he greeted before stopping right in front of her.Henric was a little out of breath when he finally got to see her clearly. She looked extremely stunning to say the least, and suddenly he couldn't find the words for what to say to her. "Umm...here," he raised a big gift bag that he brought over the holidays. He was meaning to give it to her because he knew how excited she would be about muggle stuff. "I hope you find them...to your liking,Leah,"he added. Inside the bag, there was a battery-operated stuff bear which could repeat whatever you said to it like a recorder, a small wooden musical box, mechanically altered to play muggle's famous classical music "Romance de La'mour',and also famous muggle sweets he got from a shop nearby his hometown. |
Quote:
Thank Merlin, it was him. "Hi, Henric! I'm SO glad to see you," she said. He looked especially handsome today, even though she knew nothing changed much. Huh? She looked at the big bag he held up curiously. Interesting muggle stuff. That must be it. "Oh, thanks." she blushed as she took it. Seriously? She would like anything Henric gave her, even if it was a small random piece of random. "Do you mind if I open it right now?" Because she wanted to know what was inside. It felt quite heavy, you know. |
Henric grinned shyly back, blatantly aware that he caught her blushing too. He cleared his throat,"Ahem..yeah..of course, go on right ahead.." he told her, nodding his head. He stood back and waited nervously for her reaction to his muggle gift set he had given her. |
Candice/Chance <3 What floor was she on now? She looked around. Ugh. Half the hallways looked the same and despite being here for two years now, she still found herself getting lost. The only reason she had lost count was probably because she had been eating on her way up then mourning the loss of her food. Which was a totally reasonable thing to do if you were Bianca. Bianca just wandered around the halls. She had climbed up a whole bunch of stairs, she was probably just a little bit off from the common room anyways. If she wandered around long enough, she'd find it. Or if she heard the portrait singing then she was probably in the right place. |
Chance was heading out of the common room. He was bored and stuffy and being in that darn common room studying didn't help things one little bit. People were being too quiet. The quiet was totally absurd! Heading down the staircase, he debated on what to do. He'd already gone and bugged Hayley. He hadn't seen Puckster yet. Maybe he needed to do that. He was on the sixth floor when he spotted a familiar figure. He cocked his eyebrow and moved aside on the staircase so others could get by. Heading back up the staircase, he snuck up behind, who he hoped was Beezey, and tapped her on the shoulder. |
Quote:
"C-Squared! The next time you sneak up on me like that I'm going to punch you." Truth. "Also, what's up? Going somewhere?" Cause he probably just left the common room and all so he was going somewhere. Then she'd tag along cause she was super bored. |
Hahahaha hahahaha. She jumped. Chance stiffles his laughter as she turned around and noticed it was him. "Beezey don't come out of your skin now." He said teasingly. He looked around her trying to decipher what she was doing here. Oh, she was still talking. "I'm not afraid of your hit. You barely hurt when you hit." He stated. He grinned at her, his grin teasing. "What are you doing on the sixth floor corridor anyways?" He asked, unable to decipher what she was doing. He glanced around once more to see if there was someone she had been following of something. "I was heading to go do something. I can't study anymore and there's only people studying in the common room. I was dying from the quiet. Literally. I think my ears were bleeding at one point. " Chance chuckles again. He was funny. He really was.. Mhm. |
Quote:
Bianca wrinkled her nose at the mention of studying. "You know what? I do think you look paler than usual," Bianca said, smirking. "Maybe we should get you to the healer just to make sure you're not dying." Except not really because Bianca wasn't exactly fond of going to healers who weren't her father. "What were you going to head out at do?" Bianca was Bored with a capital B and definitely needed something to do. |
Quote:
Puuhhhhhhllleaasseee. Beezey couldn't hurt a fly. Chance grinned and shook his head at her. "I doubt you could ever hurt me." It wasn't a challenge... But it wasn't not a challenge. She could do with it as she will. It wouldn't hurt anyways. Healer? Healer?? It was Chances turn to wrinkle his nose at her. "I don't do healers." That was a fact. How many times had Chance done something stupid and get himself and either hid it or tried to make a potion to fix it? Too many times. "Ugh healers." Chance actually shuddered. "Yes everyone was studying and I couldn't take it anymore. The quiet! The book turning! The horror!!" Chance clutched his chest all dramatic-like. What had he been about to do? "Probably something stupid or dangerous. Wanna come?" He asked. Clearly, she would go. It was Beezey. |
Quote:
Being overly dramatic did not suit Chance at all. Amused, Bianca just watched him clutch his chest. Being dramatic was more of her thing and he was not pulling it off. "Oh the horror. I think we'll have to cut off your ears to cure you it all," she said jokingly, lightly hitting him on the shoulder. "Or maybe the healer will give you a potion that turns you into a little bird." Who knew, Bianca would be okay with getting a pet bird... though she was 89% sure she would forget to feed it at some point Stupid or dangerous? "Why settle for either when we can do something both stupid and dangerous?" she asked. Because doing something that was both seemed so much more fun. "Whatever your plan is, I'm totes in." |
Quote:
Debated telling her if it was a challenger or not. Chance studies her face, trying to determine if she'd do anything drastic to him if he challenged her. He couldn't hit back so even if he did challenge her, it would all end badly for him. He was better off challenging someone he could actually fight back. "Nah, just a tease." He decided to play it safe. "A bird? What does a bird have to do with a heart attack?" He asked quite amused. And her father was a healer. Chance raised his eyebrows, an amused look on his face as he studied her. "I'll take my chances and just go out and do something fun and exciting rather than sit inside studying and dying." By the way, he could totally be dramatic. He was bad to the bone. Chance started walking down the staircase. He still had no idea what he wanted to do. But Beezey was in, so now the real fun could start. "I still have no ideas, so feel free to pop one out." He was pretty much up for anything fun and dangerous. |
Quote:
How was Bianca supposed to know what the two had to do with each other? "Nothing, I just want a pet bird." So she could send it after her enemies and have it poop on them or something. "Lucky for you, I am here and I always have a million great ideas to cure you of boredom and dying. After all, Papa Caruso is a healer and he taught me the remedies to a whole bunch of stuff." Given, Bianca only listened half the time since she was so much more interested in the muggle side of things but she knew stuff and that was what mattered. "We should pretend to be possessed by a spirit and demand everyone gives us all their sweets." Because Bianca was hungry... as per usual. |
Quote:
Beezey knew the basics?? Pft. Chance didn't believe that one little bit. How many times had he down things and Beezey ended up freaking out about it? Too many to count. Chance snickered. "I hope your healing skills are better than your bread making skills." He stated, his eyebrows raised in tease mode. Chance blinked. That's all she had come up with? The brilliant mind of Beezey had pretty much just told him to go get her food.... In a round a bout way. Chance cocked his eyebrow at her as he reached the moving staircase on the fourth floor. "I think you are loosing your touch." Chance told her. "Because that was a horrible idea." |
Quote:
She raised a brow. "Are you doubting my healing skills because I'm telling you, I would be a fantastic healer." Like... it pretty much ran in her blood at this point. "And if I wanted I could make bread! Jun taught me how to a while back." Except she had forgotten how to. Hm... she really should ask him to owl her some bread people. Proper bread people and not the ones that she had been making that looked like blobs. Shrugging her shoulders again, she followed him down the stairs. "We pretend to be pirates? OOOOH. We throw stuff at people!" Because that was all she could think of so far. Plus, she looked really good with a pirate's hat on and a little stuffed parrot on her shoulder. "Besides, you're not coming up with any ideas." |
Quote:
"Yes, please work on your healing skills." He teased as the walked. He looked over at her. "Have you figured out what you want to do once out of here anyways?" Because Chance hadn't. He was clueless. He loved interning at WHiM this summer but he was unsure what he wanted to do and it was a tad bit Frightening. His last year was next year. "Pirates?? That's just not good enough. What if we.. " Chance thought. He wanted to do something fun and exciting and knew Beezey would be into it as well. She was his right hand lady when it came to things like this. "Let's go ride the thresthals." |
Quote:
She didn't need to work on her healing skills. Her healing skills were fine. Her father and grandfather and uncle had taught her more than enough and she could name almost all the bones in a human body now. Which was really impressive because there were a lot of bones. "I'm going to model... and study to become a healer, like Papa Caruso." That way she could have the best of both her parents' worlds. "And you?" The thestrals...? "Sure." Because she couldn't think of a reason not to. |
Quote:
"Where are you going to work? St. Mungo's?" He asked and held the rail as he jumped to the end of the staircase. They needed to go all the way down the stairs. This is how they made everyone stay fit. All the darn stairs! It didn't matter if you are like Beezey did, continuously, the amount of walking you did, you would burn those calories. Chance looked back up when she said sure. "You don't sound too sure about that Beezey." He was amused. She never passed up an opportunity. |
Austin was heading up to his room after potions. It had been a hard class, and he really just wanted to go over his notes. On one hand he was glad the class was so hard, it meant that he was still learning. But he was so used to his previous years, when he knew most of the material. His mother had taught him a lot when she was alive, and although it was great knowledge, it wasn't everything. There was still a lot of things he needed to learn. He paused for a moment and pulled out his notebook. The potion they had just made was a base potion, and the base was the same for every potion. But if he wanted to actually create a useful potion, he needed to put in different ingredients. And think of different thoughts? That was a lot to do in one step. And if he didn't get it right, he would have to start over. Maybe making a lot of the base part, and then putting that in separate jars. That way if he messed up, he would have more stored away. Hmm... This was hard... |
Quote:
HELLO SHE WAS HERE! Maggie grinned, while walking over to the Ravenclaw. She'd just been on her way down, back to her Common Room when she'd spotted a familiar face. They hadn't really seen each other in a few weeks. Weird. But also totally intentional. At least on her part. "Miss me?" Of course he had. And the smile on her lips suggested as much. |
Quote:
"Of course I missed you. Who wouldn't?" He closed his notebook, making a mental note to read it later, and put it back in his back. "Where are you headed to?" |
Quote:
Who wouldn't indeed. That's why she liked him. "Aww. You're so sweet." She pretended to look coy there, smiling at his compliment. Where was she headed to? "Just downstairs. But now I think I've found something better to do." Maggie lightly poked his chest with a grin. "What have you been up to? I feel like I haven't seen you in FOREVER!" |
open post ~ leaving for anyone Even after being at Hogwarts for two a bit years, the moving staircases still deceived Clara. Seriously, whose idea was it to have them move? And it such a confusing way? You'd think that being witches and wizards they could have devised a better method of getting around school, but nooooo, they had to move unpredictably. Whatever. Clara stopped on the fifth (maybe?) floor and sunk to the ground, bored of walking, and pulled out her book to read. |

But what the Puff found in the bag was - amazing. There was a stuffed bear, a small interesting looking wooden box and Muggle sweets. Her smile widened at the sight, even though she did not know the usage of some of the things. "Thank you so much, Henric. I LOVE these," she said, finally taking her eyes off the gift. It was really sweet of him to prepare things that he KNEW she would like. Leah sat down on the floor and patted a spot beside her for Henric too. The Badger first took the stuffed bear out and observed it. "This is really cute!" Like SOMEBODY. She hugged it and grinned at the Fourth Year. |
