The sun has disappeared beneath the horizon and the sky dotted with countless stars shining brightly against its dark canvas. Arguably the brightest object in the sky this evening is not the stars, but the moon itself as its full moon glow dances through the windows and paints the floor in its heavenly, but eerie, light.
As you enter the dimly lit the room off the Great Hall, you find it is organised just like another classroom: there are desks with burners and empty cauldrons upon them and an empty blackboard up in front. Despite their best efforts, there are still cobwebs clinging to various spots along the stone walls and draped across some windows. The desks, mostly cobweb free, are positioned in a semi circle and there is a big vacant space in the front of the room whose purpose shall remain a mystery for now. The professor's desk is pushed off to the left with three chairs squished behind it. Professor Culloden is sitting on one of them, mulling over some sort of deep thought, while Professor Dakest stands leaning against the desk with one hand on it and his other idly twirling his wand between his fingers with a placid look about his features. Only Professor Flamsteed stands in the middle of the semicircle of desks where the glow of the moon pouring in from the outside seemingly forms a spotlight in which he stands.
The overall atmosphere is somber yet ethereal and leaves you feeling both comfortable and uneasy as you make your way towards your seat.
So come on in and take a seat. The lesson will begin shortly.
Class will officially begin in approximately 14 hours from the time of this post. You may post your character arriving and greeting the professors, but please try to keep chit chatter to a minimum <3 This lesson has officially started! Please do not announce your character arriving late and just pretend like they have been in class all along. You are free to jump in any time and should use the lesson progression links to keep up.
There was no more crying. Nope. Dot was still feeling a bit wounded about the way things had gone down, but now she was determined to be a werewolf freedom fighter. Her and Soph, 'cause they were a team. She couldn't help but throw her arms around the older Ravenclaw and squeeze the life out of her momentarily.
There now. Hugging over.
Who needed their help first? She wiped at her face with her shirt and surveyed those nearest to them. Who... that little Ravenclaw was being taken care of by StarMan (glare glare glare). So... "Cutty. I think? Has his shoes, at least." And Dot was an expert at shoes.

He looked back again, wide-eyed, upon hearing Airey's admonishment. Maybe, if he wasn't so focused on fleeing up this tree and they weren't in the middle of a MANHUNT and he wasn't so terrified of that EXTRA AGGRESSION that was running full-steam at him and threatening to pass the same to him... maybe without all that, he'd have gotten a little upset. Again. But yeah. Maybe later. Little busy.
Because when he'd looked back to see Airey, what Toby had actually seen was that WERESTUDENT. This time, as he dangled by his fingers from a lower branch of the tree, he thought he could tell who it was. Lux. Lux Carrington, and she was about to get him, and this time, he wouldn't be able to dodge it.
"No!" Toby cried out, panic gripping his voice. "Please, NO! I don't want to be a werewolf!" He didn't... he couldn't. He was so afraid of accidentally hurting someone, and he knew he was capable of it. He didn't want to feel that aggression. The fear was real. Soon he was all but screeching into the gloom as he tried to get away and up the tree to safety. "I CAN'T. I DON'T WANT TO BE A WEREWOLF! IDON'TWANTTOBEAWEREWOLF! NO NO NO NO NO PLEASE NO, I DON'T WAN-" Despite flailing around from that branch, there was no avoiding it. Lux's swipe caught him (CRITICAL HIT), and Toby fell suddenly and eerily silent. He let go of the branch and landed smartly on the floor.
...
......
.........
There was hair growing on his hands, and when he touched his face, Toby felt it growing there too. When he looked up and around at the others whom he could actually see, he found that suddenly the werestudents didn't look like they were moving so impossibly slow anymore. In fact, the trappers he could see looked like they were lumbering through the mist.
He ran a tongue over his teeth to find that they'd changed too, and suddenly... there it was... the aggression. It suddenly burned up within him, piled on to all the other confusing and messy feelings of the day, and Toby suddenly felt like he was going to explode. He watched some of the others, and felt it. The need to take someone down. To hit out at them. To grab them and subject them to this too. He gritted his teeth as an expression as ugly as his mood suddenly became clear on his werewolf face. He had enough of his wits about him to focus on one thing in particular...
Dakest, Culloden, or Flamsteed. He was gonna get one of them. Bring them down and give THEM a taste of this.
Toby gave an angry huff, clenching his jaw tightly. He was ready.
Sophie was quite relieved that Dot was bouncing back well from her traumatic werewolf transformation, and the Ravenclaw's eyes followed Dot's line of vision to Cutty, who she was recommending they try to cure--
But that's when she heard it: Tobes' panicked, excruciatingly painful screams were ringing throughout the entire room, and Sophie froze on the spot, her eyes huge and her face more alarmed and concerned than it had ever been before. And then suddenly the screaming stopped, and there was no more noise coming from that direction - just the sounds of more growls and the occasional spell being shot in other places in the room. But... by the way Tobes had been cut off... she knew it must've happened. He'd been caught. Someone had gotten him, and somewhere through the mist, he was changing into a pseudo werewolf.
Tears stung at her eyes, then, for she'd never wanted to hear that kind of fear and panic in the Hufflepuff's voice. Never, ever, but there it was - the older boy had sounded like he was being murdered, and not being able to see him made that vision all the more real and hard-hitting. His suffering and the pure fear that had been in his screams... it was like the life was sucked from her, the way she stood there, unable to move or speak or breathe or do anything.
She never wanted to hear Tobes in that kind of agony. Never again.
There was no use in moving. There was no point in going to try to find him, because by the time she'd fully processed everything, it was certain that the transformation had already taken place, and somewhere on the other side of the transformed classroom was a beast-like version of her Tobes. Somewhere in mist he was a hunter now with scary teeth and a thirst for... something - whatever it was that the werewolves wanted that made them so keen on attacking people.
Wiping a fallen tear on her cheek, Sophie finally nodded at Dot. "Lead the way." She couldn't focus, but maybe if Dot led the way and took the reigns in them curing Cutty, she'd be okay and forget about what WereTobes must've been feeling.
No matter what, though, she was certain of one thing: when he was back to normal, he was not going to be in a good state at all and she was already planning on taking him to see Javy as soon as possible.

Oops. Kate hadn't meant to imply she thought she was really a werewolf. "Oh, right. I knew that," Kate assured with a quick smile. Quick, because at this very moment, you couldn't turn your back from anybody. "I just meant...well, there was all that fur. I'm just glad to be back to the normal me." You know...skin instead of fur.
It suddenly occurred to Kate that she should check behind her, so she whirled around and just saw a classroom full of werewolves and trappers. None of the werewolves after her, thank Merlin. With her wand raised and at the ready, Kate maneuvered around the room. She still hadn't gotten a chance to cast on anybody yet and was hoping for the chance to do so before they were all turned back into their regular forms.
Hen-wolf-ric let out a growl, why couldn't he reach for her?! llia was frustratingly elusive, it just agitated him more. Suddenly he felt the binding charm lifted off from his legs, it took him a moment to realise that he was free, finally! He quickly move into a crouching position, panting heavily from all the exertion he used thrashing about on the ground. The wolf side of him narrowed his eyes and gave a fiercely snarl of anger before leaping up towards her, his paw-like hands bared to strike!
But nooooo! He was HIT! llia managed to cast the binding charm at him again and immediately he couldn't move! He fell backward onto the ground, his whole body stilled and went stiff as a board. He eyes darted up to find llia had succeeded in trapping him! Hen-wolf-ric tried as he might to break free from her spell but defeat was inevitable for him.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Annnnnd he was free!
Adi flexed his joints still glaring at Benny. He could tell he had hurt him but right now he didn't care. That didn't COMPARE to the hurt that he had felt when Benny decided to question their friendship. Adi merely watched him go, wanting to call the Gryffindor back to tell him he was sorry for saying that he hated him but his stubbornness about it all being Benny's fault for their falling out kept him from doing so.
But then... the Lion turned... to wish him a Happy birthday. Normally Adi would have asked where his present was but not this time. He just stared not even wanting to say thank you but it didn't matter. Benny was on his way. Adi turned away too. This had almost been a perfect day. The only thing missing was his irreplaceable bestie.
Determined not to let this get him down, the Hufflepuff turned to get back in the game. WHERE WERE THOSE WEREWOLVES?!
A grin that was terrifyingly close to a leer had appeared on Toby's face even as he rushed at his prey professor. He was just about to make a final leap and tackle him when the spell was cast right at him.
Of course. The spell. He'd... forgotten about the spell in his haste.
Suddenly, Toby couldn't move. He'd stopped running so suddenly it was a surprise he didn't have whiplash now. "Lemme GO!" he snarled at Culloden, so close to growling it would have been comical if there wasn't a part of him, deep deep deep deep deeeeeeeeeep down, who was terrified of what was going on. He fought hard against the invisible binds, but all that happened was that his head flailed around a little. It was so frustrating, and it just made him feel even MORE angry. SO SO SO SO SO ANGRY RAAAHDSHSHHSKHSHKSHhHHHH.
Toby's head and face were still free, though. Maybe he WOULD bite him. These teeth would do damage.
"LET. ME. GO."
RABID!BADGER!WOLF
HAD HE GOT IT IN TIME???
Phewwwwwwwwwwww.
Cosgrach took a moment to breathe, then he rushed to drop a few candies into his open mouth. He'd let him go soon, promise.
Once this class was finished, he'd talk to Sophie and possibly Piers, depending on what the girl said.

It was a good thing that her spell seized him right on time, because he was but two feet from making his mark. She held him still and her eyes scanned him over, then their misty forest surroundings to make sure that no threats were coming out of nowhere. The coast was clear and she reached for some of her 'candydote' again. She leaned over her snarling best friend and gently dropped some candy dote over his mouth. Her hand was just far enough away that he couldn't bite her. "Come on bestie, come back to me." She spoke softly and soothingly, as if she were convincing a creature. She would love him even if he was a real werewolf, but she was glad that he wasn't.

Toby was still mid-growl/snarl/yell when he noticed, all too late, that Culloden had those candies too. Like the ones he held in the drawstring bag in his very immobilised hand. He could do nothing about it, though his WERESTUDENT state did NOT want a cure (even if his normal, hidden, self really really really did).
"No no no nO NO! I-" But he was cut off, because yelling meant that Culloden could easily get the candy into his mouth. Toby stalled and coughed, surprised, but he'd already swallowed the sugary sweet cure.
At first, he thought nothing would happen, but then all at once he felt a tingling from the disappearing werewolf hair, and when he ran his tongue over his teeth, Toby found they were back to normal. And, MOST importantly, the aggression, the need to attack... it had mercifully disappeared. Toby was hugely relieved.
Of course, with that gone, but with Toby remembering everything, it left more emotions in its place. STRONG emotions, and unpleasant ones at that. The Hufflepuff looked at Culloden, nothing short of devastated about what he'd tried to do only moments earlier, and then quickly away. He'd have run off, but the spell was still in effect. He needed to get out of it.
"Sir... Professor, will you let me go... please?" Toby asked, his voice very quiet, still not looking at him. Markedly different from the weretobes of a few moments before.
Once again, he felt ASHAMED. For different reasons, this time, but still... he felt it.

You know, in hindsight... There was probably a better target to ambush than their very practiced and VERY capable Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Actually, trying to ambush Dakest was incredibly ambitious of the lot of them (which was quite ironic considering the fact that they all happened to be Gryffindors). But Zander wasn't going to turn around now. Plus his new werewolf-like instincts had been kicking in. So yup. Here he was.
And here a few others were? Zander hardly even noticed the pack grow in size until Were!AJ lounged. Weren't they gonna make this a team effort!?!? What happened to following the pack, gosh!
Except for Were!Zander thought that it was pretty well executed and Professor Dakest was gonna turn into one of them in absolutely not time at--Uh oh.
And uh, he was hit. His front paws.... His back paws.... This werewolf was quickly falling down on his side. HE COULDN'T MOVE HIS LIMBS!!! Zander didn't like this. Not one bit. Totally unfair. He didn't want to be a human again. He was enjoying this werewolf business far too much. HMPH.

Before he could grab down touch the Professor, The Korean boy couldn't move his legs AT ALL because Dakest was quicker than him and Zander. That Professor had cast leg-locker curse to them.
Merlin's beard. No wonder why he was pointed being the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. That man could cast the leg-locker curse to four limbs (two people to be exact) just in one try. And now what's next? He's gonna cure both of them, right? Jackson hoped so, somehow he also wanted to join the #teamtrapper.

Was the Professor one of them now? They could use him on their team...
Normally, Yoongi would have walked the other way. He wasn't the typical run right to your demise Gryffindor but was more the cautious type. But this time, he was a weredor! Half wolf half lion RAWR.
And the curious part of his brain was still himself. He got closer to where the trapper rolled away and when he got close enough he realised that not only Jackson but Zander as well were both hit by the spell they learned a few minutes earlier. Should he save them? Or use this opportunity to strike?
Without much thought because he had to decide in a second, Yoongi leaped up in to the air towards the Professor with more strength than he normally had.

Whoops. AJ couldn't help it that she was painfully Gryffindor. She told herself as she made her way over to the wolf pack that she wasn't going to do anything rash. She was here for support and back up and things happened so fast. Once her eyes locked on the professor her wolfie senses took over. Her leaping was an out of body experience.
So close and yet so far. Another professor had escaped her furry paws. This defeat wasn't as painful as Airey's. Dakest was a defense professor, but Airey was a rather flaily kind of man. The kind of man she should be able to take down.
Oh no. Just when she thought things couldn't get worse, her lion buddies were trapped. They weren't stripped of the werewolf powers as of yet.
"AHHOOOOOOOOO."
She was sorry and sad that she was the reason this happened. Maybe, just maybe this was a good thing. Dakest was all distracted and AJ could make another move. Maybe the next move would be THE move. She silently stalked her prey from behind. Without making one ounce of noise, she sprang once more.
Flaily arms everywhere. Hey, it worked for the Astro professor. Please let her touch him. That way she will have saved her seriously botched plan. If you could call it a plan at all that is. It seemed like Yoongi had the same idea too. All right defense professor... could you dodge two springy wolfies?
But would you look at that? His aim wasn't half as bad as he thought, and he watched as both Were-Ander and Were-Wang toppled over like bowling pins.
Now, in any normal situation, against real werewolves or Dark Wizards, he wouldn't have cared how they fell or lingered in any sort of consideration afterwards. He would have been moving again, onto the next attacker, one step in the dance he knew so well. Problem? These were students. His students. And he was supposed to look out for them, make sure they sustained no serious injury or any such sort.
He was in the process of doing so, while rising to his feet, when he caught the movements out of the corner of his eye. It wasn't exactly a solid movement, more like blurred lines and swirling mist, but it was enough to issue a shout of warning. One he wasn't sure remained entirely internal.
With a surprised stumble backwards to his feet, Sabel managed to twist his body out of the way of one arm coming from one direction, and what seemed like six arms flailing in from another direction. He twisted again, brought his wand up ----
And caught a flailing hand right on the forehead. Another got him on the shoulder he was trying to wrench away to the side. It was a mild question of whether or not being caught by one hand of two different students counted, but the answer was quick and clear. With teamwork, however planned or executed, Were-Land and Were-Tine had managed to catch him in a Were-sandwich. And what did that mean?
That meant that he was growing a healthy [s]extra[/i] amount of fur and some beautiful canines. And his amused laughter sounded more like a growl caught by a hairball. Lovely.
His arms lowered and he gave both students a wolfy grin, his concentration on the binding of the Were-Ander and Were-Wang slipping away. He would have to remember to congratulate them later. They had, in his books, got one of the points of the lesson. Teamwork, or pack-work, was important.
To this effect, Were-bel let out a loud howl to the risen moon. Normally, his singing voice wasn't great, but it was quite the nice dramatic effect and he really hoped the other students, his now-pack-mates, would join in. Did they still have time to go on a hunt?
The other trappers were looking mightly tasty.

Hen-wolf-ric could only glare at llia, not understand why she didn't want to turn into a werewolf like him. He snarled, then so be it! Of course, this wasn't Henric's real thoughts. Again,it was the potion heightened effects on him. The survival of werewolves were depending on him but he was caught in the end by none other that his mundane human bestfriend, much to his 'wolfish' chagrin. She wasted no time to administer the antidote though. He tried to spit it out but he couldn't resist the sweet taste of these poprocks...what is this...mhhmm...yum..he chewed, savouring the flavour bursting inside his mouth. Not long after swallowing them, he felt anger no more. He took a moment to adjust his line of vision...why was everything so blurry? Urgh...headache. He blinked several times and try to focus on llia's face. Furthermore, this binding charm that was put upon him was hindering his movements. He didn't like to feel restricted.
"Thanks for changing me back,llia..but..can you get me out of this binding charm?"he asked, smiling. Beastly hairy-boy Henric had returned back to his normal self! Hooraah!

No? As if it wasn't him yelling he didn't want to be a werewolf only a moment ago. Good thing he accepted the candies without much difficulty. Cosgrach let him transform and breathe. He barely heard what he said. It was hard to hear, but he offered the boy a small smile. "Sure," he said and lifted the charm, then offered him a hand to pull him up.
"You okay?" It had a deeper meaning than just 'did the transform hurt?' (because Cosgrach knew it wouldn't). He hoped the boy was.

Toby accepted the hand up, and stood for a moment, brushing at his uniform and straightening it out again. Thank Merlin it was a super easy transition between human and Werewolf Lite™, but it made Toby feel incredibly sorry for actual werewolves who had to transform without a Wolfsbane Potion. If the emotional switch and the guilt was bad like this, when he'd had his comparatively tame but still violent thoughts, thinking about what they went through hurt his heart.
"Thank you," Toby said, speaking up a little now but still overly focused and brushing away imaginary dust from his uniform, so he wouldn't have to look at Culloden. He sniffed. "I'm sorry, I..." He didn't mean it, was what he wanted to say. Didn't want to be a werewolf 'cause he didn't want to act like that. And then it occurred to him that real werewolves probably didn't want to act like that either, only for them it was SO MUCH WORSE. It made his heart hurt even more. "I'm sorry," Toby said again.
He quickly rubbed at his face before looking up, and replied automatically. "I'm fine. I-"
The rest of his sentence was cut off by a sudden loud howling nearby, causing him to whip his head around and look in the general direction of the noise. Toby wasn't aware of it, but he was hearing the WereDakest - the familiar-but-not-enough-to-recognise-it voice sent a chill through him whereas the other howls had bothered him a lot less. And then another surge of panic. He realised he was free from BEING a werewolf, but not free from getting turned back again. Toby looked back at Culloden, eyes wide, and took a few steps back. "I gotta go," he said, the words coming out in a rush. "Thank you... I mean, sorry... I mean... both. I..." Okay, no. He had to go. "Sorry, sir."
And Toby turned and ran, but only a couple of metres, until he found a suitable tree, probably still within Culloden's range of vision. Without further ado, he hauled himself up the first few branches before any werestudents could get to him, then scaled the tree, climbing up up up as far as he could go. All he could do was wait it out. He had no wand, practically no curing candies left (though he could try to drop them into the mouths of any werewolf that saw him), and he absolutely a thousand percent did not want to be a werewolf again. His head was still all jumbled from that last one.
So Toby sat there, alone but for his thoughts, and watched the action through the trees.

WereZhenya was walking around trying to find more people to bring to the hairy side. It was quite nice, she could just scratch under her arm, bare her teeth and growl, and she felt one with the moon.
But a sound made her stop.
MOAR WEREWOLF FRIENDS IN TROUBLE?
Zhenya turned her head slowly and saw WereJackson, grring and screaming for help. He looked like he had been bound too, those PESKY catcher werewolf haters. WereZhenya stalked towards her WereFriend and reached out to place her hands on his shoulder. She wanted to save him from the PAIN of being bound and taken away by those... those... catchers.

UP A TREE! HE WAS FINALLY UP A TREE!
And totally had not just performed a triumphant fist pump at this small accomplishment. One that had come a little too late as he took advantage of his bird's eye view of the classroom. It was subtle, but from this new perspective it was quite noticeable. Students' movements were slowing down and becoming much less animalistic. The astronomer checked his sundial watch and nodded. Right on time, just as the Candy Cauldron had said it would be. He supposed he could give the man a few extra respect points for that.
He would just...hang out up here. And see if Sabel bit anyone.
OOC: LAST CALL! Please start wrapping up your RPs now! The effects of the "werewolf" potion will be fading away at this point.
The activity will officially close as soon as either StarShine or Tazenhani get the chance to post.
Thank you all for your participation thus far! <3333

Hooraah!
Ilia watched as her best friend began to lose he extra fur and his pearly whites became less fang like. Wolfric was becoming her Henric again. When he spoke again she giggled a little and immediately released him. "It was a bit of a hairy situation there bestie." She smiled as she reached for hand to try and help him up. He was hers and on her side now. She didn't think that there was much time left though, so they probably couldn't help anyone else. "I think this whole thing has made me sure that I never want to try 'oreos'." She laughed a little with a smile. She doubted that she would ever accept things from professors without question either, but that could be for a different discussion.

She couldn't even remember casting the spell before Zeke transformed her back into a werewolf. Reaching... reaching... reaching...
He couldn't help himself... he continued to struggle, his FRUSTRATION growing. HE WANTED TO BE FFREEEEEEEEEE...
and then there were hands on his shoulders. Hairy hands. Hairy Zhenya wolf-pack hands. It stopped him in his thrashing, his breathing slowing and becoming deeper as he took a moment to register what was going on.
And then... HE COULD MOVE AGAIN.
"Aaaahhrrrooooooooooo!" he cried out, grinning with his sharp and impressive were-teeth. They should 'hunt'. It'd be such fun.
Zeke relaxed as his muscles made his movements free and easy, his pace quick despite easing into what he'd have thought was a light jog. He was looking forward to getting his hands onto another victim. Victim. He needed another victim.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
It had happened so fast. One second he was in the air, trying to turn the Defence Professor in to one of their own. At the same time, AJ’s flailing arms appeared and when he landed back on the ground, being sure that he had touched the man on his shoulder. He got up, prepared to run away in case their attack had not worked somehow but a couple of seconds later, Professor Dakest was one of them! THEY DID IT!
Feeling more proud than he should be, Yoongi looked at AJ as if to say good job! Completely forgetting about Zander and Jackson still trapped by the spell. He noticed another werewolf student rushing to the two bound guys and that’s when he remembered them. A howl behind him made him jump. Scaredy werewolf he was. But the howl made him feel even more proud and he tried to howl at the fake moon as well
“AWOOOO--*COUGH COUGH COUGH*” He coughed loudly , realising that the effects of the werewolf was slipping away. Awww man , did that mean they were going to turn in to normal students in a moment? He knew it was bound to happen at one point but Yoongi hadn’t had this much fun and stress relief in a long time. All that OWL studying was honestly getting to him. But before that happened he NEEDED to turn another trapper first.

Flaily arms, teamwork, and defense professors... oh my. So much excitement was happening that it was hard to keep track of which furry paw belonged to whom. Her mind was even starting to play tricks on her. She connected with something hard... but was it the ground, or the professor? Maybe she was wanting this so badly that she only thought she felt something.
The anticipation was killing her. Hopefully with the distractions and the help from Hyland one of them had managed to get some fur on Dakest. AJ eyed the professor with bated breath.
...
He was a...
...
WEREWOLF!!!
They had done it. Wolfie fist bump... erm. How did a wolf go about this? Deciding on a shoulder bump, AJ knocked her shoulder with Hyland's. More howling happened because we got Potter they had Dakest on their team now and SHE helped get him there. Her!!! Little ole fourth year. She couldn't stop beaming. Now they would be able to eat transform all of the remaining trappers.
Everybody got in attack wold formation. Or, you know... follow the professor's lead. He was probably way better at this anyways. All of a sudden she noticed that she didn't feel quite as wolflike anymore. Was her fur get less noticeable. Wolfie mid life crisis? Probably not. Most likely the lesson was coming to an end.
Noooooo...
They just got the best teammate ever. Did they have to stop now? AJ was having SO much fun.
He was pleased that a student had joined in the call of the hunt, and others were forming up. They could really do some damage with such a pack. Maybe huff and puff and blow the Astronomer's tree down?
Sabel was about to suggest so, in whatever wolfy grunts and growls could communicate such a thing, when the Were-land beside him had what sounded like a coughing fit. A glance over showed that fur was fading fast and students were becoming normal again. Or, as normal as they could be. As was he.
Well, darn. He'd actually been looking forward to do a bit of chasing. Oh well.
Idly, as he straightened he couldn't help but wondered if the fur would shed off, leaving the three Professors with a mighty fun clean-up job. Of course it wouldn't, given it was a transformation illusion and all, but might have made for some good thinking-work. His eyes caught sight of a Fuller-Thompson in a tree and a Brown somewhere through the mist. Nevertheless, he was sure Airey's words would be enough.
Turning, he gave a grin and high-five to his now-student counterparts. "Excellent teamwork. The lot of you."
Speaking of which, were Adair and Hwang still tied up? It seemed Miss Burton had the helping-teammate concept well in hand. Just in case she needed a bit of extra help, Sabel cast a finite towards the two boys. A glance to check that they were all right before turning to the room as a whole.
Already the mist was slinking away and the trees were shrinking back into the desks they had been before, or disappearing into the floors. "Alright everyone. That's a wrap. Thank you for providing us with your undivided," mostly, "attention this evening. We hoped you learned a few very important lessons today. Please make sure you take your potions with you, as well as all other belongings."
He didn't need to repeat that Brown and Fuller-Thompson were to stay, did he? "If you have any questions, please visit us in our offices tomorrow. For now, have pleasant dreams." Hopefully not about getting eaten by or turning into a werewolf. "And awesome work today. All of you."
Class, dismissed.
--------------------------------------
OOC: And we are at the wrap for the activity, and class is officially over. All students should now be well, students. The effects of the "werewolf" potion are officially gone, and there should be no lingering side effects (within or outside of the classroom).
Feel free to say a quick goodbye to your Professors/Classmates, but please keep it short. Thread will be closing soon. Keep your eyes peeled for homework.
Thank you all for such an awesome and fun lesson!!

Well, darn.
Kate had really been looking forward to casting on some of her werewolf classmates. She'd experienced the whole 'being a werewolf' thing in its entirety and had even been saved by Flamsteed. She had just gone on the lookout for somebody else to save when Dakest ended the lesson. Kate paused in her tracks and looked around the forest. Or, well, it used to be a forest. The magic seemed to be fading away and taking all the werewolf fur with it.
"Well, that was a cool lesson," Kate said, looking at all three professors. She'd ask if they needed help cleaning up, but the magic seemed to be taking care of that. "Thanks for a great lesson!"
It was a lot more peaceful up here, Toby had noticed. He could sit on a branch with his back against the trunk of the tree while he gnawed subconsciously at his fingernails and watched the remainder of the lesson. It seemed the excitement was dying down, in any case, but he stayed put 'til he knew everything was finished.
He could see Dakest through the branches, and when he heard him declare that the activity was over, Toby felt a wave of relief pass over him. But it was shortlived, of course, as he remembered very well the words Airey had spoken to him and Soph earlier. The relief quickly turned to something else, and Toby had to fight the urge to jump down from the tree and scarper from the room, or to hide up here until everyone was gone and hoped they'd forgotten about him, to avoid his problems like he was just so good at doing.
But he didn't do that. Any of it. It was actually pretty impossible to remain in the tree, as it was actually shrinking back down into nothingness. As soon as Toby realised this, he went ahead and jumped down, landing kinda on all foors before straightening back up again.
Toby decided not to look at any of the professors; he felt too bad. The messing about, the subpar potion, the combusting dummy... it hadn't been a great lesson and he knew he'd need to fix things. He was still so jittery, perhaps moreso now on account of the tricky things he was feeling after the whole... aggressive werewolf thing. He'd just... keep his head down 'til they could leave, then go process things on his own. For now, he just went back to where his things were waiting, and packed everything up ready to go once Airey had spoken to them. But... uhhh...
Toby straightened, and began looking about the floor. Where was his wand? He'd thrown it down over here, he remembered doing so. Had it been kicked away by someone? Stomped on by accident? Eaten by a werestudent? His fingers started to automatically move like they were twirling it, while his eyes scanned the floor nearby.
... It was actually kind of a relief to have something to focus on doing while they waited for the room to empty out a little. He did need that wand, though. Twirling it was soothing.

...Was someone going to transform her back? Werelux didn't like being unable to move and wanted the transformation process to be over with. Professor Flammy was really dropping the ball because Angel wasn't feeding her pop rocks.
She let out a growl...which turned into a more human sound.
So she was back to normal now? Awesome. Except she still couldn't move. "Errrr, a little help here? I'm kind of paralyzed." So if someone could lift the spell that would be much appreciated.
Tears were still stinging at the Ravenclaw's eyes as things began to return to a state of normalcy and the mist faded away. She wiped at them, hopefully before anyone besides Dot could see that she'd been so worked up - then she put on a hard, emotionless expression.
No crying in front of Flamsteed. Not unless she was desperate.
She looked for Tobes, then, and on her way over to him, she cast, "Finite," at Lux to free her. There was apprehension on her expression when she reached the seventh year Hufflepuff, however hard she tried to keep her expression blank, and she wanted to reach for him and hug him to comfort him after what he'd just gone through...
But that was the kind of thing that got them in trouble in the first place, wasn't it? Sophie looked toward Flamsteed, then, her eyes stinging and red with sadness, and they flickered toward Culloden and Dakest, too.
The professors knew they needed help, right? Flamsteed wasn't going to make things worse?
Her jaw set with worry creases on her forehead, Sophie resorted to standing beside Tobes in silence, chewing on her bottom lip as she did so. She did notice Tobes scanning the ground, but she just thought he was avoiding eye contact with the world and fidgeting, not looking for anything in particular.
Everything she'd worked for during the last five and a half years, right down the drain.

Booooo. No more wolf like happenings and that was a major bummer. Like, get this chick some chocolate because she was seriously down in the dumps. Just when things started to get real.
Story of her life...
You could tell there was a complete shift in the fourth year's mood. She was almost moping about. Inwardly turning her right foot towards her body she said, "thanks for the awesome lesson. I'm super bummed we couldn't be wolfie BFF's and bite people together." She couldn't even look at him in the eye.
So close. AJ sloppily gathered her junk up and got ready to head back to the real world. You know, the one without wolf alliances, furry teenagers and forests. On second thought, that actually sounded a lot like the real world... HEH.
