Marsha was both happy and sad. It was Summer! That in and of itself was awesome, without adding in getting to see her animals and her her sister and her parents and everyone else at home again. She HAD missed them after all… but she was sad because she wouldn’t wake up in the same dorm as Rusty and correct Lance with his spelling… Giggles. Oh man, she wouldn’t get to practise magic either - THAT was just depressing. Urgh. She didn’t want to have to wait over two months to practise magic again. Sighsighsigh.
Moving down the corridor, she poked her head into a few different window panes, looking for either her friends or an empty compartment. Either would work… that or, a compartment with faces she recognised. Really, she wasn’t that picky as long as she didn’t need to stand the whole journey back to Kings Cross. Heh.
Hmmmm. Now, where was Lance… or Rusty for that matter? Or even Puck or Benzi or Adi… Kate? Hmm She moved through the crowds trying to find any of her friends - hide or seek… ready oooorrr nooootttt!
Emmylou had never been so much happier that school was over and the summer vacation was about to begin. This term was so crazy. She didn't even know how she got through it. With the spiders and people close to her getting kidnapped. How was this normal? Magic wasn't normal in the eyes of muggles but nearly getting killed by spiders and her best friend/sister/cousin being taken away. How does ones emotional state stay in tact, IT DOESN'T! She was a wreck about it all she really she was just plain afraid to even be at Hogwarts. The Gryffindor was still pretty shaken up still. She had come so close to being attacked by spiders. Thanks to the lack of safety of this magical school she had developed a fear of spiders now and of being kidnapped. Emmylou looked around the middle cars for the perfect compartment. There wasn't that many students on the train right now anyway. It was easy to find a place to sit she left the compartment door open so Kace, Cinna, Echo, Puck and even Lux could find her. The seventeen year old took a seat closest to the window because that's her favorite spot. Now it was just waiting.

Wow, this was it: her final train ride home from Hogwarts. Until recently she had assumed that there would be one more term to go, but then she had also assumed that she would never end up on an Acromantula menu.
Funny how things could change.
Walking along the corridor, she peeked inside random compartments to see if anyone was inside. One held Emmy and even though they didn't really talk, Lux shrugged it off. She was just so happy to go home that the difficulties in their relationship didn't even bother her so much anymore. Biting her lip, she stood at the doorway.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.

His second to last trip back home on the Hogwarts Express. At least it wasn't his last... yet. "Not even going to go there with those thoughts right now,'' he said to Gus the toad who was as usual perched on his left shoulder. Adi made his down the corridor, occasionally stopping to chat with some friends. He thought he caught the familiar form of Marsha up ahead of him but it was so crowded that it was hard to tell.
Because the figure was stopping at compartments, the almost seventh year soon caught up with her. Yep, that was DEFINITELY his friend. "Marshaaaa,'' he sing songed, coming up behind her and tickling her sides. He wanted her to giggle. He never told her but he thought those giggles were melodious. Hehe. "Found a compartment yet?'' Or was she still on her way further down the corridor?

"Hey. Can I join you?" It was polite to ask.
Emmylou looked out the window, she wasn't paying attention to see if anyone that she knew was walking by on the train corridor. Emmy jumped a little when she heard a voice. Her dark blue eyes looked at the voice. It was Lux. Nothing wrong with that. There were more pressing matters that being mad at Lux right now.
Emmylou nodded. "Yeah. I don't mind."

Come to think of it he finally graduated Hogwarts and was gonna go out into the real world. Where did the time go. He was not ready to step onto the train. He realized he wouldn't come back next year like his normal schedule. He was starting to feel really nervous. He wasn't gonna let it show because he wanted to spend one last time with his friends before they went their separate ways. He began to walk down the corridor and he saw Emmy and a red hair sitting with her. He grinned and knew who it was immediately. He opened the door and walked over to see Emmy sitting near the window. Her usual spot he took the other window seat but first he leaned over and gave Emmy a kiss. He smiled and waved at Lux.
"So any plans for the summer you guys?" he asked as a conversation starter.

Since Emmy had no problem with it, Lux took a seat opposite to her and got comfortable. This was going to be a long train ride because she couldn't wait to go home.
It didn't take long for Kace to join them, but then Emmy was his girlfriend. It didn't seem like he noticed her at first, and she didn't mind seeing them kiss since it wasn't exactly snogging. As nice as it was, Lux had no desire to watch other people do it. She smiled at his greeting. "Hey." It had been a while since they had hung out, but then he had NEWTs and she was still dealing with what had happened to her and Cinna. "I'm not really sure besides hanging out with people. Not coming back next term." So she would be home for a while.

Running a hand through her hair the soon to be seventh year just sighed the exhaustion of the term was mounting. That, and her friends? Were they really leaving? That was absolutely horrible she was going to HAVE to go and sit with them it was imperative. She’d join the prefects later.
Her friends were more important right now.
Walking down the corridors she finally heard them – LUX! EMMY! KACE! Aw this trip was going to be sad, but fun…and she had cookies for them. “Hey,” she smiled softly as she stepped into the compartment. “Emmy hey can I join you guys? Because we haaaaaaaaave to come up with plans to do things this summer before next term” she wanted to spend as much time with them as possible.
And of course she understood why Lux wasn’t wait she wasn’t coming back? “Luxy I’m sorry to hear this but I get it, I mean this place is dangerous.” She nodded, “I mean the only reason I’m even thinking of coming back is because of the first years I met this year – like Marsha she was really sweet and I don’t want her to like end up dying or something?” She shuddered at the idea and nodded.
One less friend to do homework with, but hey at least she still had Bianca.

As Kace was asking Lux about what she planned to do next term, he jerked his head when he heard that Lux wasn't coming back. She wasn't coming back? He never thought he would hear such a thing. "Wait....wait...I thought you loved Hog-" then he stopped and remembered what happened this term. His mouth formed a big O shape and then he went quiet. "Oh I understand, I mean I would leave after what happened..." he nodded and showed sympathy. Then he turned to Emmy and wondered if this was the reason she wasn't coming either.
Soon as he made eye contact with Emmy, he turned his head and saw Puck came into the cart. He grinned and nodded towards his fellow lion. He heard he mention summer plans and his ears perked up. "Oooohooo what summer plans are you conjuring up Puck?" Now he was curious.
The sixth year smiled as she saw her boyfriend walk in. She returned the kiss to Kace. She wondered where Cinna was. Maybe sitting alone with Bart in a compartment. She wasn't going to be clingy to her, she finally got her boyfriend back after being kidnapped and they wanted to spend time alone together. She understood but didn't really understand. "Nope. Nothing so far but I don't know if my Aunt Raeanne will let be out of the house after what happened to Cinna at Hogwarts." She understood one hundred percent why her aunt would act like that and she wasn't mad about it at all. That was a shocker. Lux wasn't coming back to Hogwarts next term. Well there's two people down for not going. "I'm not coming back next term either." Emmylou spoke up. She had a nice long talk with Kace about it even though she really didn't think it over to well. She also still needed to tell Cinna, Aunt Raeanne and Uncle Cam about it. Emmylou looked over at someone else who had joined in. It was Puck. She nodded. "Yeah you can join us." She didn't own the compartment.
