One thing Dante liked to do which he would not tell people because really it was not cool or important enough to bring up in any conversation. Like really, in what talk would you say that you like exploring the dungeons on your own.

You would not, that is the correct answer and you are an someone very special if you think otherwise.

He had already been down the secret passageway more than enough times in his three or so years so far at this school. So today he decided to go randomly walk and he ended up here on the third floor in front of the funny Humpbacked Witch statue. Dante would laugh at it if he ever crosses it on his travels.

Because look at it. Look at It.

It is hilarious

After a long, glorious nap there was nothing else to do but head to the kitchen--not only for an apple but for a tall glass of milk. It'd been a whole day since he'd had one of those and he was feeling quite partial to one so he left his office.

It was times like this that he was glad his Office was on the third floor and not somewhere up on the Seventh and Towers. That...wouldn't work....not even for a week.

As he headed down the corridor of the funny looking witch, he spotted a certain formerly confused young Slytherin.

"Admiring the view, Mister Barrington?" He had to say, it wasn't much to look at.

You know if you look enough at the statue it kind of stares back at you and it is pretty cool if Dante does so say so and he does. But even he has to admit that after a while it gets boring like most things. Though one thing he did not think would happen is hearing Professor Q voice. Now this is interesting.

"I most certainly am, Professor Quigley. Just plotting world domination and staring at weird statues. You know a normal day."

Kidding....kind of and Emphasis on the Q, of course.

"Though you can still call me Neil B. Formy if you want. It is totally fine."

A privileged even. Not that he would say that out loud and he just told Professor Q to kneel before him.

Oh that name is awesome.

So...world domination.

Well that was an interesting way to spend some time when you didn't have homework to catch up on. He would have preferred something a little more practical...like sleeping but to each their own and children generally had a lot more energy to burn anyhow. "Normal day indeed. I can help you with this domination stuff. We'd just have to plan carefully."

Might not be actual domination but he DID know how to mess with people. That counted for something, didn't it?

"And if that's the case then it might be for the best that I continue calling you Formy. Secret names will help protect our identities until we're ready to go large."

Didn't need people figuring out their plans ahead of time, you know?

It was just so ugly.

Dalton couldn't remember how many times he'd passed this statue since he'd started in his first year, but he contemplated it on his way to the owlery, stopping in front of it. The way he looked was almost admiringly - probably as close to admiring as the boy could get.

He didn't know what it was, but there was some affinity felt with the statue. Which was a weird thought, and definitely not one he'd expressed in the letter clutched in his fist. No, that parchment was merely politeness - letting Travis know that he was still alive, and asking if Aled was still living somewhere else.

"Extremely normal day and really. I took you more for a nap guy than a think about domination guy" But he was more than happy to be proven wrong. And of course they had to plan carefully this was no prank to set some random person on fire. This was world domination.

The plan had to be perfect

He was right about the names. Secret Names were pretty cool. They were cool when he was five and they are still cool now. "Okay secret names. And since mine is already i guess taken. What should yours be?"

Dante was still not sure if they were just kidding or were almost serious.

He had a point there. Domination required excessive force and Maddox preferred sleeping every time. That would hardly inspire confidence however. "On the contrary, between my eldest twins, there isn't a day domination doesn't get planned." Only half a lie this time. Christopher liked exerting his role as big brother, getting the others to do his will. Demetria was his enforcer when need be.

By the sound of it, Mister Formy was all in for the plan. Right, he'd be needing a name too. Huh.

"I think...I could go with Alexander. Just Alexander." Because all the best world dominators didn't need a last name. Kept things nice and simple.

"Know what else we'll need? Secret handshakes. Nearly anyone can brew a polyjuice these days and we can't afford to go divulging information without being sure we're who we say we are." This was serious business right here. Though what would a boy his size be wanting with domination? The idea was amusing enough to go along with for now and Maddox managed to keep the hints of an amused smile off his face.

Well not like Dante cared or knew anything about Professor Q's personal life. So he had no idea if he had siblings. So who knows. Dante was not going to waste more time thinking about it.

Well world domination is a little different then dominating your brothers. At least Dante thought so. One was just brute force and the other you need smarts to actually do it. He hoped so. Since he was the youngest he thought he knew. Though his brother only did it when he wanted something.

"Secret handshakes are cool" Dante nodded and agreed to that But that name....Really Professor Q. "Come on Professor. You can do better than that. Make up a name like Jefferson Steelflex or.....Alvin Yakatori. Those are some quality names right there"

It was to be original. Come one Professor didn't you read The Troll's Guide to World Domination.

Really.

Strolling along with jazz shoes in her hands, the small blonde watched people pass by her. Will she ever be that tall? Her mum was pretty short for her age, so was Aunt Adry. Her uncle was pretty tall because her grandfather was too. Will she at least be tall enough to see over these people one day? Hopefully. Timmy didn't want to be short like her mum at all. She wanted to be tall and be able to touch the stars.

Spotting a familiar face, Timmy already knew to keep her distance from the grouchy person in front of her. She cleared her throat before speaking up. "Do you like the statue? Ugly, isn't she?" She asked, not moving a hair strand forward.

There were drifting further and further onto the same page. Naturally you would need a secret handshake, they could get into secret meeting places after. This was shaping up quite nicely if he did say so himself.

At some point he might have tried being the responsible Professor, insisting he take his studies a little more seriously instead of all this time wasting on plots to take over the world but the man honestly couldn't remember the last time he'd made a real effort to be responsible. Besides all that, school was not merely a place to learn a few subjects then graduate. Life skills were nice too and so was a splash of creativity and fun.

"You're absolutely right, I'm on a bit of a creativity low at the moment." Hence his heading for the kitchen for an apple in the first place. "I'll take Alvin Yakatori." The last name was decidedly not English, think how many loops it would throw people through.

"Now how do we go about this handshake? It should either start or end in a fist bump."

On her way to terrorize the seating area outside Quiggles' office, Sophie skipped on down the corridor in high spirits. She just had a few things left to turn blue for her Charms homework and she knew JUST the places to do it. She was quite familiar with the humpbacked witch statue that she had to pass along the way as it was a common place she would meet up with Tobes when they were on their way to bother Fuller back in the day, so she thought it'd be a super thing to charm blue. It needed a makeover, really, but it was also incredibly convenient.

But as she rounded the corner leading toward the statue, THERE WAS QUIGGLES. With a Slytherin. Making conversation AROUND the statue. Hm. Hmmmm. HMMMMMM. That made things a little tricky because... she didn't want Quiggles to be ONTO HER and SEE that she was headed for his office because then he might reprimand her and keep her from carrying out her mission. But... she'd come ALL THE WAY FROM RAVENCLAW TOWER to do this. So. She had to press forward with it. She just had to. Quiggles was going to have to let this go.

"Colovaria!" Sophie cast with a point of her wand right at the humpbacked witch statue to change it blue, then beamed at the two standing in front of it as she passed. "Gentlemen," she addressed Quiggles and Dante, then directed a wink at the Charms professor before taking off in the direction of his office.

Nothing to see here.

Zhenya slipped the second floor, and came to the third floor. She had a brainstorm about what was up here. There was NO way she was going anywhere near the hospital wing. If she even so much as tried to raise her wand near Healer Murdoch, she was certain she would be in detention. There was always charms. Of course it was Charms homework, perhaps she could go and transform all of the walls inside the Charms classroom into green walls, which seemed like a good idea.

But.

Zhenya walked past the statue of the Humpbacked Witch. It was blue. Zhenya stopped and looked at it with a smile. Well, sorry Ravenclaw but it was going to be Green now. "Colovaria," she said, pointing her wand at the statue and picturing the blue change to green. HUZZAH; there it was. The humpbacked witch was now GREEN! With a delighted laugh, Zhenya skipped down the corridor towards the stairs.
