The Lions sit under a beautiful scarlet and gold banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmistress' traditional feast speech. To all Gryffindors, both new and old: enjoy the feast!

Marsha smiled at the ghost, one big large smile. ”It is lovely to meet you! I can’t wait to see what the tower is like!” She nodded her head, ”My aunts and uncles all loved Gryffindor - though I’ve had family in every house, so I would have been happy anywhere - even if I did really want to end up in Gryffindor!” She babbled. Again. Whoops.
Oh look! More people were welcoming them to the school. She had been worried that her aunts and uncles had been lying to her when they had said that everyone was so nice. BUT apparently they were. Grinning some more, the Welsh girl waved back at the Hufflepuff who introduced himself as Aditya - oh no. Adi. ”Thank you! It’s nice to meet you Adi.” And smile to the nice girl (Cinna) too! ”I’m Marsha!” She felt bad for calling over the table, but he had started the conversation so that made it okay… right? Sure.
Marsha couldn’t help how much she was grinning right now - and Lance just added to that - he was so adorable and funny! ”Thank you! I do try!” Hehehehe. She didn’t really try to do anything other than be herself. Wasn’t that how you were supposed to be with friends?
Nodding in response to Evie’s question, she laughed a little. ”Any house would have been fine, I have aunts and uncles in the top few years - at least one person per house so I constantly get told how amazing all of the houses are.” She couldn’t help the giggle that left her lips.”But it is a matter of pride, and I’ve wanted to be a Gryffindor for as long as I can remember. Plus, I agree with Lance, all of my new friends are in this house - that just makes it even better.” Add to that the small fact both of her parents were Slytherins, a fact she found hilarious. She couldn’t wait to let her parents know.
Marsha nibbled on her bottom lip as she watched Lance sit back down as she said that they should wait until after they had eaten. ”Though… food seems to be taking forever so maybe we would have time buuuut because it hasn’t started yet maybe it will be starting soon.” Darn, why didn’t she know how long it would take for food? Why hadn’t she thought to ask her older relatives… Silently, she wondered if Hayley would know, and she sent another curious glance in the brunette’s direction...Could she interrupt her conversation to ask?
Looking back towards AJ, Marsha giggled. "Not much, just super hungry!" She informed the older Gryffindor. "Oh, is it? Woah, can you show me? Maybe I'll have to just start walking around the corridors--.... at the weekends." She added quickly when AJ said to not try it before class. Which was completely sensible - because being late to classes didn't seem like a sensible thing to do... She would have to try and remember the school corridors so that she wouldn't get lost anyway - the castle looked and felt HUGE to the almost-twelve year old. "Woah! Who is Bellaire?" She had heard the name before, but she couldn't remember what the witch taught.

"Not smart enough for that," Zahra commented off-handedly. If COPERNICUS was a Cursebreaker, then it was obviously hard and junk. Plus he almost DIED and he's super smart - so like, "I'd be dead in a week." Or a day.
....she did enjoy looking for treasure though.
But she also enjoyed pizza and mashed potatoes and foot massages, so what did that even mean.
Toussaint and his piercings. She rolled her eyes playfully at him and JUST BARELY managing to not punch his chest. "I like the IDEA of the Lion riding a motorcycle tattoo.... Maybe you should have told Emmylou about that. THAT is sure to charm ANY red blooded Gryffindor." But mostly her. Meow. Hehe. HEHE.
Michael rolled his eyes and gave her a small pinch. "Maybe you should be an actress then, you're certainly dramatic enough." PFFT...not smart enough. Dead in a week. She was selling herself short. She was plenty smart and with just a little more work..."I told you I would help you with your wandwork." So long as she didn't keep distracting him with other things.
"Oh so you know that crazy chick?" He glanced back up the table to where the girl had headed off to and he shook his head. Some girls were just plain weird. "Then why don't you get a tattoo of a Lion riding a motorcycle?" He asked as he turned back to look at her. It was a pretty good idea but he had gone with something different. "Maybe I'll get that on my chest." Yeah he wasn't quite done getting his body inked.
"So do they let the seventh years leave the school on the weekends?" He was hoping to get on the bike again and go for a ride.

Evie grinned at Marsha, she hadn't thought about it that way. As long as she was happy where she was. Of course she probably would have been happy in the stables considering she knew absolutely nothing about Hogwarts. "That's such a good way to look at things. At least all my new friends are here!"

Ok this was a little awkward.. maybe not the best way to start a conversation but at least he hadn't scared the kid.. right!? Right!! Cause that would be bad if he had, wouldn't wanna be remembered for scaring people.. though that might not necessarily be a bad thing. Oh! older kid is talking now.. Tyler looked to where this older kid was pointing, hold up! did this kid just say he knows one of the professors? They were friends? He wondered what it was like to be friends with a professor. "That is so cool! I don't know anyone here so I find it cool that you know someone. Then again you probably been here a couple of years so know a lot more people than you did when you first joined." He couldn't wait to get to that point where he could actually enjoy being here cause right now he wasn't enjoying it much at all. He was just sitting there at the Ravenclaw table doing nothing at all. Tyler then realised that he had not introduced himself, not a good start at all. He might be know as the little kid if he didn't introduce himself, that was not what he wanted to be labelled as "Sorry, I'm Tyler, newly sorted Ravenclaw. What year are you in?" he asked this kid, holding out his hand for a shake, would be awkward again if this older kid didn't shake on it. Not like they were shaking on a deal or a bet though. He seemed like a nice kid and one to have on your side.

Last Start of Term Feast. Mitchell was excited. He was only half a year of being a full adult. Pretty cool, huh? He thought so. The rest of his life was exactly one term away.
He glanced over to the Hufflepuff table hoping to spot the girlfriend. He hadn't seen her all day. Sad.
Anyway. Time to focus on things that were of immediate importance. Namely... FOOD. Was it food time yet?

He flexed his arm so that his biceps bulged and then burst out laughing.* "I think she had the hots for me personally and got jealous when you showed up. Hehe.* Just kidding.
They had to get permission?* Michael pulled a face.* "But we're of age.* Why do we need to get permission?* At Durmstrang, you could leave anytime you wanted." He was okay with staying at school too but he also wanted to be able to leave anytime he wanted.* "There are plenty of places we could go." It didn't really matter where they went so long as they were together and got some time to themselves.* "Where's one place you have always wanted to go?* We'll go there."

"Are you for real? at least Natalie is a real name unlike Yoonfoo" and he too showed off a big grin to show that he was just joking as well. "But really, don't ever call me that please" it sounded like food... "What year are you in?" he asked.
living person? did that ghost just made a lame joke? Yoongi stared at him for a moment and then opened his mouth again. "I'm Yoongi, Sir Ghost. nice to meet you" this would be a good time to tell him his name as well because he obviously couldn't be called Sir Ghost. Or maybe that WAS his name! How awesome would that be? Awesome like himself that's for sure.
ASKLLAKGHFJSFJOSFG HUFFLEPUFF HOUSE! Yoongi wipped his head in Adi's direction as he spoke and followed his finger to the black and yellow clothed table. "I wanted to get in to Hufflepuff when i heard about the Houses" he said looking back at the Prefect again. "But the Hat had other plans apparently" he sighed maaaaybe just a little but he figured he just had to deal with it. 'Cause so far, Gryffindors seemed like a nice bunch of people. "I went to Charm's school in Great Britain" he answered. "It's a school that specializes in charms obviously" he added because people seemed to like asking what Charm's school was.
While Sir Ghost was a step in the right direction, earning the Gryffindor an amused smile from the house ghost, not exactly the title he prided himself on.
"I prefer Sir Nicholas," he corrected. "Or Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington if you are feeling rather ambitious. And just who might you be? So that I may refrain from referring to you as 'living person' from now on."
He had clearly missed this new Gryffindor's sorting. Perhaps it had occurred while he had been making quick glances towards the Ravenclaw house table.

Well, he'd like to think so himself, though he'd never really been categorized as that by others. It was, actually, a really good feeling. The young lad sat up a little straighter, toes wiggling in his shoes. "You're awesome too, Marsha."
In case she didn't already know that.
He was quite fond of his name too, though didn't really think about it much until he had to introduce himself to someone new. "Thanks," he grinned, quite proud of the name his mother picked for him. "You have a cool name too."

Though he couldn't even be properly disgusted because of the fact that the ghost was literally right in front of his face. RIGHT there. He could just reach out and touch him if he wanted to. Was that possible? To touch a ghost? The young lad's eyes never blinked, nor moved from their wide position. He may have even stopped breathing too, he wasn't sure. There was a ghost in front of him, who could even THINK during a time like this?
Wait. Oh man. Oh man oh man-
"Yes, sir," he nodded hesitantly despite his squeaky confident tone, gripping the bench even more, "Anything at all...sir."
Ohmanohmanohman.
It was totally cool with how many people he got to talk to already, and most of them being older and more awesome students. He couldn't keep the smile from his face, and the greeting from ANOTHER older student was no exception. "The best house ever, right?" he grinned, tapping his fingers on the table, ignoring the way his stomach growled.
That was, at least, what he's been repeatedly told so far from the others.
His guilty expression turned into a small smile, a short chuckle escaping him. The girl's laugh was a bit contagious. "Um... yeah! I suppose. Red and gold are cool colors. Plus, I mean, Marsha is here, and Zac...and you, so," he shrugged his shoulders, glancing down the table, up and around, and back to Evie. "How 'bout you?"
Dinner first?
His expression fell slightly as he slowly sat back down. He'd seen a few others already leaving towards the entrance to the Great Hall, and he'd hoped to follow them to make sure he was going in the right direction. Plus, he wanted to get a GOOD pet rock.
"Yeeaaaah, I suppose," with a quick look towards all the adults up at the front, he plopped himself back down on the bench. When was dinner going to begin anyways? Did they bring out the food? Did they have to get up and go get it themselves like a buffet? Would there be things he liked to eat that didn't involve onions??
The ghost lowered his voice and even moved forward a bit more, his nose passing through the first year's accidentally before he glided back a bit.
"Very well," he gleamed. "I therefore dub thee, Sir Lancelot. Gryffindor Knight of the Silver Platter! Your quest, good knight, is to bring forth from the Great Hall a plate of roast beef with caramelised onion gravy...perhaps with a dollop of mashed potatoes if you can manage...and henceforth hide it in your dormitory so that it may ferment."
The ghost then look wistfully towards the still empty plates, imagining the glorious food that was to appear there as soon as the Headmistress gave her speech.

'Cause NO he didn't have any better plans or more minions and NO they weren't going into the forbidden forrest to grab unicorns. Didn't she remember what happened last time people went down to the forbidden forrest? It was MADNESS. But how could Zander break it to her in front of all these people? Especially when she seemed so excited and Merlin. this was going to be a lot tougher than he thought. "Uh, yeah we'll just talk about it later, then..." he scratched his head, slightly confused by this interaction. Merlin. She was even more confusing than the arithmancy textbook.
Uh? Uh? UH? What did it take to make this boy happy? She had given him an amazing opportunity. Sure, a student was eaten last term by a giant spider, but what were the odds of that happening again? If she wanted to know the actual odds she was sure she could ask was of those eagle kids. In fact she had a sister in that house. Only thing was that she really didn't give a hoot about the odds. Where was the fun in that? See how easily distracted she could become? Now where was she?

"Perfect." They were in agreement. The whole food thing needed to happen before she could come up with some super sweet plans. Although, she didn't wanna plan too much because that would be boring. She was more of try it out and hope for the best kind of girl.

OH! Look, someone was talking to her. That was amazing. AJ! That was an amazing name, so pretty. ”Hi AJ! I’m Marsha! And this, is Zak!” She said, point to the boy on one side, before going around their friends. ”And this is Rusty, Evie and Lance!” Check her, wasn’t she AWESOME knowing most of the knew first years in her class already. Hehehe. SHE had made so many good friends already. So important. ”Hogwarts is going to be incredible!”, she agreed, sharing the older Gryffindor’s enthusiasm. ”I hope I don’t get lost though!” She added, the place was HUGE after all.
So far AJ was loving the spunk of the new lions. This is just what Gryffindor needs after that devastating lost last year. Ugh. she couldn't even think about it. Losing was not okay, and she needed to move her little thought process on. "Hi Marsha." Oh wow! The younger lion already had so many friends. AJ smiled at each one that she introduced to her. "Sup?" Hopefully there were all as cool as Marsha seemed to be.
AJ laughed. "Getting lost is part of the fun. There are so many cool and hidden spots in the castle. I highly recommend getting lost." Oh wait, she couldn't let the firstie go on not knowing a certain little detail. "Try not to get lost before class though. I once got out of trouble be meowing for being late, but if you are late in Bellaire's class she will eat you." No lie.

"Indeed!" he roared, floating a bit further up into the air and puffing out his chest. "I dare say that I expect a victory this year, what with losing BOTH Cups last year and tarnishing our winning streak. And I prefer Sir Nicholas, please."
There just wasn't enough of her to go around. Only she did have a twin, but nobody would believe that Angel was AJ. Not if they knew her well at all. There would be plenty of time to catch up with the others that she hadn't got a chance to speak to just yet at the after party. There was always one of those. AJ noticed the nod returned, and she gave her attention to her house ghost.
"We have it in the bag this year." They just had to. AJ would make sure to not lose any points this term. Well, that might be taking it a bit too far. "Losing is no fun." That was the understatement of the century. AH! AH smacked her forehead with her palm. "Oh course. I'm sorry Sir Nicholas. I forgot. I love using nicknames." In fact she insisted that nobody call her Aubrey. It just sounded weird.

But just look at AJ go, yo! She was more hyper than usual. It was safe to say she had consumed loads of sweets. Or his habit of being super social had rubbed off on her. It could be a combination of both reason too. Yep.
This was one of the first times when she didn't stay seated beside Adi at the feast. It was as if she couldn't stay still with all of the sugar coursing through her veins. Not to mention that she was super pumped by the new firsties. They were going to have this cup in the bag. She was sure of it.
AJ tried to catch Adi's eye, and when he seemed to be looking in her direction she have him a warm smile. As soon as everything got settled down, she would back by his side once more.

Seeing AJ, Benny, and Adi all the three wave back she spoke to them "You guys have a good summer?" She figured that they had spent summer together she rarely seen the three apart. Much like her and Emmy or her and Bart. She supposed. She could be wrong. That has happened before.
There was Cinnamon. AJ really liked the older girl. In fact there wasn't anybody that she really didn't like. Well, other than Ian and Bellaire, but no need to go there during such a happy time.
"My summer was lots of fun. How about yours? How does it feel being a sixth year now?" Another friend that was going to graduate before her. Did she have any friends her own age?

Still smiling, Lux nodded at AJ as she talked about summer. It definitely had gone by too fast, but maybe this term would go by fast too! One could dream. "It's pretty nice to be a Sixth Year! I get a break from exams and one year closer to the real world." Yep, she was very excited about this as much as she loved Hogwarts. "So how does it feel to be a Fourth Year?" Next term were the OWLs.
"Oh yeah. Adi was practically a zombie last year. How did you do on your OWLS?" AJ was sure that she did well, but it was still polite to ask. AJ had only one more year before she would have to endure them herself. Yikes.
"Umm...I dunno. I'm kinda just stuck in the middle. I'm not one of the young ones anymore and I'm not considering a old one either. I bet this is what it feels like to be the middle child."
"That's the confidence I love to hear!" he exclaimed, fluffing his luff a bit more and puffed out his chest. "But a word of caution to all. A true knight perseveres to the end in any enterprise begun. Do not let overconfidence cloud your dedication!"

Marsha couldn’t help how much she was grinning right now - and Lance just added to that - he was so adorable and funny! ”Thank you! I do try!” Hehehehe. She didn’t really try to do anything other than be herself. Wasn’t that how you were supposed to be with friends?
Nodding in response to Evie’s question, she laughed a little. ”Any house would have been fine, I have aunts and uncles in the top few years - at least one person per house so I constantly get told how amazing all of the houses are.” She couldn’t help the giggle that left her lips.”But it is a matter of pride, and I’ve wanted to be a Gryffindor for as long as I can remember. Plus, I agree with Lance, all of my new friends are in this house - that just makes it even better.” Add to that the small fact both of her parents were Slytherins, a fact she found hilarious. She couldn’t wait to let her parents know.
Marsha nibbled on her bottom lip as she watched Lance sit back down as she said that they should wait until after they had eaten. ”Though… food seems to be taking forever so maybe we would have time buuuut because it hasn’t started yet maybe it will be starting soon.” Darn, why didn’t she know how long it would take for food? Why hadn’t she thought to ask her older relatives… Silently, she wondered if Hayley would know, and she sent another curious glance in the brunette’s direction...Could she interrupt her conversation to ask?
Looking back towards AJ, Marsha giggled. "Not much, just super hungry!" She informed the older Gryffindor. "Oh, is it? Woah, can you show me? Maybe I'll have to just start walking around the corridors--.... at the weekends." She added quickly when AJ said to not try it before class. Which was completely sensible - because being late to classes didn't seem like a sensible thing to do... She would have to try and remember the school corridors so that she wouldn't get lost anyway - the castle looked and felt HUGE to the almost-twelve year old. "Woah! Who is Bellaire?" She had heard the name before, but she couldn't remember what the witch taught.

He seemed like a nice kid and one to have on your side.

See he had made a note of the correct way to address Sir Nicholas Nick He probably wouldn't forget this conversation anytime soon, wouldn't want to get on the bad side of a ghost anyway who knows what he could do. Dreaded thinking about that

Tyler walked over to the Gryffindor table to see that they too had their own ghost, this girl that he was standing near called him Nick.. Nick? that was a pretty modern name for a dead ghost wasn't it? oh wait!! His name was actually Nicholas.. right? riiiigggghhhttt tthat made more sense! More old fashioned than Nick! though Nick was not a bad name but just not old enough for a very old ghost like Nick. But Nick had put himself into this generation and shortened himself to Nick over Nicholas. It still felt strange to see ghosts when you couldn't see them or hear them in the muggle world, but here they were floating around and chatting freely.
Angel was just sat there, thinking about things, and trying to figure out what she was doing next when suddenly someone was watching her. "I know one day, I'll be famous, but why you gawking at me now?" Angel was confused, she didn't know the boy right, he wasn't anyone she knew right. "I'm Angel?" Angel had no idea what she was going to do next.

Swallowing the Kiddy, the Hufflepuff noticed AJ sending a smile his way. He thought it was amazing she had time to actually pause to send that smile with all that talking she was doing with everyone. But he returned the smile. He knew later she would have time for him so right now he didn't mind that she wasn't sitting by him. Hehe. Oh, did we mention he couldn't keep his eyes off her? She seemed to have gotten even more beautiful over the past few months.
"It's awesome to meet you, Marsha!'' It was ALWAYS fun to meet the newbies. It was a pity all his Froggies were done. Even though Marsha wasn't a Puffer firstie that wouldn't have stopped him from giving her one. "Enjoyed the trip across the Lake? You didn't fall in, did you?'' Like Margo had last year.

Or maybe she did do that usually and Adi had obviously not seen that side as yet. Ah. She was half Chinese! How cool! Hogwarts had a nice mixture of students from various ancestries. "Of course you do. I plan to go to India sometime to do the same.'' Though he wasn't too keen on that idea right now. The place was crowded and very heated. "How was it that that school? Can you speak Chinese?" Adi was interested. Maybe Natalia could teach him some Chinese like Jackson said he would teach him Korean.
Shouting. Lots of shouting from the little sister that was Angelfish. "You seem to have lots of energy today, too,'' he stated, tilting his head to one side and his eyes on AJ again. Did the two Gryffindor Valentines spend some quality time together and shared a whole bunch of sweets? He grinned. "I did well, thankfully. Seven Os', three Es' and two As'.'' Adi was pleased with that, thank you very much. "So, how's everything going with you?"
Hayley gave a small nod, still smiling a bit, and left it at that as far as her summer went. She was more than ready to push that back out of her mind, and tune out her inner thoughts on the matter. It had been an amazing summer, in some ways.. and in others, she wasn't entirely sure if there were even words for it, and how it made her feel anymore. No, wait - she knew how she felt. But no, no... moving right along.
"Tell me more about the place you interned?" She asked, resting her chin in her hand, elbow on the table where it didn't particularly belong, but she was comfortable, turned slightly in Chance's direction. "What is WHiM? What did you do?
Realizing Vincent hadn't yet found her - not that she was certain he would, - Hayley gave another quick glance around the table to see if she could see the blonde somewhere. No such luck, though. The new little Gryffindor blended in well with his new house mates, it seemed. Hayley did catch Marsha's gaze from across the table, however, and returned the curious look. Had she said something to her, that Hayley had missed? "Everything okay, Marsha?"

Uh? Uh? UH? What did it take to make this boy happy? She had given him an amazing opportunity. Sure, a student was eaten last term by a giant spider, but what were the odds of that happening again? If she wanted to know the actual odds she was sure she could ask was of those eagle kids. In fact she had a sister in that house. Only thing was that she really didn't give a hoot about the odds. Where was the fun in that? See how easily distracted she could become? Now where was she?

"Perfect." They were in agreement. The whole food thing needed to happen before she could come up with some super sweet plans. Although, she didn't wanna plan too much because that would be boring. She was more of try it out and hope for the best kind of girl.
This girl was insane. Moreso than the others, he was sure of it. What did it take to make her happy? Well, a unicorn obviously, but weren't there better ways of getting one than going into the FORBIDDEN forrest? He got into HUGE trouble for that last time. And someone DIED. AJ needed some common sense talked into her or something. And Zander Adair was going to figure out a way to do it... Or a way to completely avoid her for the rest of the term until she forgot about their deal. Yeah. That sounded like a plan.
But anyways, where was the food? His stomach was grumbling.

Enough with the just THINKING. Tia had spent the whole summer nearly wallowing in her thoughts and stress. If he wasn't going to come over and see her - probably because he couldn't cause like maybe prefect duties or something - then she was going to go see him and determine what was up.
Though Tia had to check the banner twice to make sure she was at the right table because of how many NON-Gryffindors were at the table. Apparently this was the place to be; not that she didn't like her own table and comfortzone, but well, even her dormmate was over here. "Hey Hayley!" Tia acknowledged but didn't stop to sit near her. No, she was on a mission towards someone else.
And once she arrived at the person she had initially headed to the Gryffindor table to see, without hesitation, Tia placed her hands gently over the male prefect's eyes. And waited for reaction.

The newest addition to the Gryffindor House looked visibly relieved when the House Ghost smiled at him finally. He had been scared that he was not liked for his comment earlier and he did not like being not liked. Did that make sense?
“eh…I’m not THAT ambitious…” he answered carefully after hearing the Ghost say his full name which he had already forgotten. “Sir Nicholas it is” he said with a nod. “I’m Yoongi Hyland, I just got sorted here” Had he missed his sorting? Boo! “Can I ask how old you are, Sir Nicholas? Well…obviously you’re not alive but with the ghost years added?” he was just curious how long he had been at this school.
Natalia was still giggling at her nickname for him and the Gryffindor rubbed the back of his neck to keep himself from getting truly offended. True, he liked jokes but when things got to far he set his foot down. Only, setting his foot down did not mean what normally meant when someone stood up for himself. In Yoongi’s case, this was …whining. “Oh come ooon. I’m a fifth year so I’m older and I forbid you to even think of me as Yoon…foo” but as he said Yoonfoo, a small laugh escaped and he tried his best to like stern. Yoonfoo lolololol!
Yoongi blinked at him (Adi). “It’s that unusual wanting to be a Puffer?” he asked. Why though? That house had really good traits. All houses had but Hufflepuff sounded like they were a combination of every house. “But I’m a Gryffindor now so don’t think I’m helping you people win that House cup” he said and reached inside his pocket to grab out a lip balm stick. He applied it to his dry lips and put it back where it belonged. “I’m really excellent in Charms yes” he answered. “You’re the second person asking that, you know that? A girl named…named…” he frowned slightly and seemed to look in to space for a moment as he tried to remember her name. Nothing came to mind and he whined frustratingly. “I can’t remember her name! ..but I do know she’s from Hufflepuff as well” anyways… “She wants me to help her out as well with Charms” yup yup. He fell silent again, but if anyone could see inside his mind they would see he was thinking at top speed. “LEAH!” oops, bit too loud? “Leah was her name… do you know her?”

The name did ring a bell in his however. Slytherin. That was the house his grandmother wanted him to be in. Though he was confused as to why, especially now if they were described as mean. His grandmother always said it was the best though. "His plank? Like...a pirate?" What what?

Zander had only just turned away from AJ as he went to find an actual seat. He had really just been floating around earlier. It helped take his mind off the fact that there still WASN'T ANY FOOD?? Seriously. There were tons of first years, but did it really take this long to say a little speech and start the feast? That's why they were really here, right? 'Cause it was called the Start of the Term FEAST not the Start of The Term 'let's-just-hang-out-and-STARVE". Ahem. He would say Cinna, but he'd seen her and some of the other potential perpetrators sitting around him. HM. Who could it be? "Hey!" he reached his hands up to feel the hands over his eyes. Chance watched the expression on Hayley's face as she thought about whatever she thought about. Apparently it was a line between good and bad because her facial expression had went from okay to an almost shake of the head. Chance chuckled as he watched her.
The way Hayleys body was turned towards him made him feel important. Chance decided to reciprocate and turned his body slightly so that he was facing her. She was adorable. Wait no, he couldn't be thinking that. He had missed his chance last year and now they were just getting back to being friends. He was supposed to be talking about something. She had asked... Uh.. Oh WHiM. "Right WHiM." He said nodding, "it was pretty spectacular. Not PG but pretty awesome. I'll tell you more if you tell me more about your summer you weren't overly boisterous about."

Lux laughed at the thought of a zombie Adi. Honestly, she had been in just about the same state by the time summer holidays rolled around. AJ still had that to worry about next year, and the redhead did NOT envy her. Then again she would be dealing with NEWTs at that time... Oh well, after that it was the real world and Bay wouldn't be able to get rid of her even if he wanted to! "I actually did a lot better on them than I thought I would." It had been an amazing surprise especially considering how nervous she had been before opening the envelope.
Nodding, she could understand what her friend was talking about, feeling like she was in the middle. "I felt the same way when I was a Fourth Year." Totally understandable even though she wasn't a middle child, but the baby. Willa was the middle child. "And maybe we can be study buddies next term!" That could be loads of fun.
Smiling at Nat, Lux nodded. "I am sure that you will have loads of friends by the time term is done." Wink. All it took was talking to people and exploring the different parts of Hogwarts! She had made friends all over the place during the years she was at school; it definitely had been a wonderful change from being home schooled. And the comment about falling asleep on the train got a laugh. "Happens to all of us at some point or another. I assure you I've done it and woken up looking like a total mess." Yep. Sometimes she had looked like a nightmare!! "I am glad you liked your snack, and the feast will take care of the rest of it!" The food was amazing.
Oh. Angel had been sick during most of the summer. That was sad. "I'm sorry. If I had known, I would have stopped by with some soup and potion." Lux frowned, feeling like she wasn't a very good friend. "Did Benny look after you?" That was one of the things that boyfriends did; they looked after their girl when she wasn't feeling well. "Oh, I'm just glad to have a break from studying and it's one year closer to leaving school." So that was nice. She was so excited for the next part of her life.
Zander was probably excited too, but Lux was not sure. At the very least he would be happy for the break from studying. All the Sixth Years had to be!! "I'm planning to start driving lessons over Christmas, so the plan is definitely to drive next summer. What about you? Are you going to learn?" Maybe she was one of the few, but still. She was excited to learn how to drive and get a car!! "I can't wait to be of age. I am soooo excited!!!" It was going to be so amazing when she could do magic at home without getting into trouble. As it was she had to ask someone in her family, Bay, or one of her graduated friends to do magic for her during the holidays. "Oh." So he hadn't seen Bay in a while. "Well, if you ever visit, I am sure he would be thrilled!" He always loved seeing his old friends.
At that moment someone came over and placed her hands over Zander's eyes. Lux had to laugh because it was so cute. "Hey there, Tia How are you?" She had always liked the younger girl because she was so nice and easy to get to know. They had to spend more time together this term!!
Hayley recognized that voice. Without looking up, the Ravenclaw already knew it was her dormmate and friend, Tia. Casting grey-blue eyes in her fellow Ravenclaw's direction as she passed behind them, Hayley called after her: "Hey, Tia!" and smiled once more as she noticed where the fifth year was headed. Straight to one Gryffindor Prefect, naturally.
They definitely had something to discuss later, it seemed.
Attention focused back on Chance, where it had mostly been the whole time really, Hayley was quiet as she listened to him explain a bit more about WHiM for a moment - curious of what he meant by not PG, and unsure whether or not she actually wanted to know what that meant - , until he pulled that card. She honestly hadn't seen that coming, and for the briefest of moments the surprise shown on her face. Clever, lion boy. "Not here. Meet me later?" Hayley asked, surprising even herself with the sudden decision. Albeit, she didn't let that show. It was entirely possible, and likely, her cheeks were still a fair shade of pink though. "I'll show you." And then he could explain more of his interning to her.
Thank goodness for Marsha, what a good little distraction she was. Looking over at the redhead and back again, Hayley smiled softly. "Marsha. She's another of my first year charges. We sort of.. share extended family, if that makes any sense. In-laws. I was asked to look out for her a bit, you know. Make sure she makes it safely to the castle. Doesn't get eaten by a man-eating plant in Herbology, that sort of thing."

Glad that people here were so nice. He didn't feel like an awkward new guy in a castle anymore. So far he had made some friends here. It's a good sign that he's gonna enjoy Hogwarts, hopefully until he graduated.
"Well uh... I haven't wandered around so far but it's.. nice." The Korean guy said to Emmylou. Maybe he should visit more place soon (and hoped that he's not getting lost like what he had done in Diagon Alley). "I'm looking forward to see the common room." Because for now, he just wanted to take some rest. He was sooooooo tired from the journey but yet he still had energy to socialize.
Turned to Zander, Jackson just nodded and smiled at him. Though he was just a year older than him but usually he still referred him as senior, or brother. But he wasn't in Seoul anymore so... Just calling him by the name wasn't that rude, right? "Oh, I'm sorry hyung... Oops. Sorry, Zander." He mentioned his name with his thick Korean accent.
"Yeah, I did." He answered Nat's question. "I uh... went to wizarding and art performance school in Seoul but since my father wanted me to.. focus more on study so.. I moved here." Everytime he told that story, it made him missed Kirin very much, especially the dance studio, the music room. Ugh. He missed singing and playing the old piano at the music room, the place that he loved to visit after the class. "You also new student?" He suddenly asked.
He just chuckled when Adi seemed very enthusiast with his offer, tutoring Korean language. Why not? He could be like... culture ambassador, hehe. "Well uh.. You don't need to sign. And Korean can be... difficult." Because of the pronounce and the hangul.. But it would be fun, he promised. "If you really interested, you can.. contact me." It's an opened offer. Hehehe
Snake? Oh, of course he brought it here. He couldn't trust Pororo with Micky though his brother also had a corn snake as a pet. "I do." He answered. "So you... pick turtle as your pet choice?" Because they met at the Menagerie while he was looking for a new pet at he seemed interested with turtles.

Daisy made her way over to the Gryffindor Table just in time to grab a seat before the Head Mistress’s speech. As she sat, she saw that Noah was storming out of the Great Hall. Good, maybe her words had done something to pierce through that numskull brain of his. Part of her was upset with herself for having gone that far, but another part of her justified it. Noah was a prat and what she was had simply been the truth. He was right when he threw back that she didn’t know him. But who’s fault was that? Ceratinly not hers. Circe knew she’d tried to be a friend, but there was only so much abuse someone could take. Right then and there, Daisy decided she was going to make some new friends this year.

He seemed like a nice kid and one to have on your side.
The kid was okay, he decided, though he was VERY fresh. All sorts of fresh, and perhaps a little too Claw-like. At least he was easily impressed, that was a nice thing - for him at least. "Yep, sure do. He worked for my mum for a while, was an Auror, I guess this means he's teaching now." And THIS was something that would take some getting used to. As for the whole knowing people thing and not being a firstie anymore. "Yeah, time will fly and you'll make friends in no time." Most people did. Of course he couldn't say so for EVERYONE, but most people.
