After a long hard day of hunting, and lessons, or even just a busy weekend, your dormitories will be your haven. It will be more than just your home away from home, and it is the place where you can come and relax after a long day or a late night. The four poster beds are surprisingly comfortable, and it's easy to get lost in the smooth red velvet covers. Should you want some privacy from your chatty dorm mates, feel free to close the hangings around you and lose yourself in sleep.
After all, every lion needs their rest and with the portraits watching of you - perhaps some evening serenading you to sleep - it is sure to be a sound sleep.
*OOC: please note that changes to room assignments may change based on bios posted in the 'Meet the Pride' and Character Biographies threads. Have an IC complaint about your dorm assignment? We are sure that Professor Flamsteed would love to hear it as your Head of House
Any character listed that does not have a (username) is a non-playable character and entirely up to you (and your IC dormmates) to make up their personality and habits if you so desire.
Despite there only being two rooms per year listed above, IC there are obviously more rooms in the tower. After all, there are 9601 students in the school and about 2400 of those are Gryffindors. This is just meant to help create more of an IC feel for you as to your character's housing situation.
If you see anyone that is missing or any mistakes, please notify your Head of House.

SPOILER!!: Angel
Angel giggled. "Why would I kill you?" Angel then suddenly added. "Do you think I'd do it to get all your sweets?" Angel nudged her sister. "Hey!! Hey!! Hey!" Angel would never hurt her sister. "Sis!! Sis!! Sis!!" Angel giggled as she chanted waiting for AJ to drink it.
"Yeah!!!!!!!" Angel smiled when her sister finally decided to drink it. "It's not my fault the Professor put me off." Angel nudged her sister again. "Didn't you see the smile he gave me." Angel giggled some more as she got the image of the smile in her head.
Angel nearly fell off the bed at the next thing her sister said. "No that's Abby's job." Angel decided to have some more fun, putting on her other sisters voice she started to try and scare AJ by acting funny and threatening to tell on both of them if they didn't do as they were told.
Angel had a funny feeling the potion had hit AJ now. "It's smell like!!!" Angel giggled as she poked her sis. "No sis your wrong there... it smell much more nicer than that!"
"Yeah this is the life!" Angel giggled. "Actually this is your life!" Angel was trying to figure out where she could get a book from. "Soz sis, I can't find a book to give you like they do on this programme so this will have to do." Angel gave her sister one of the pieces of parchment that was next to her.
Now she didn't think her sister would actually kill her on purpose, but accidents happened all the time, they did. Mmhm. Snort. If that was her motive then she was going to be very disappointed. "Sorry to tell you that if I croak all of my sweets will be going to Adi." It was the least she could do, and she hoped he would do the same for her if the roles were reversed. "Heeeeeeey." What else was there to say to that?
AJ laughed and beamed at her slightly younger sister. "I did see that super huge smile he gave you." And since she brought it up... "What was THAT all about?" Something going that your big sis needs to know about? "He's such a sweet old man." Everybody was lovely. AJ was in the mood to give out hugs. Without warning, she leaned over and gave Angel a bear hug. "I wonder who invented the hug. I mean, how awkward it must have been for the first person to actually try it out on somebody else." Like what did you say? Shhhh... just trust me? SOunded legit.
Full out laughing happened because Angel was so right. "Noooo. I don't want anymore time outs." Abby was definitely the tattle tale of the family. That was why she couldn't be in the lion house. They didn't accept those kind here.
Um. What was nicer than sunshine and chocolate? Nothing at all. "You're right. Adi smells even better." Actually he smelled like both of those things plus his own personal manly smell. She wondered what he was doing right now. Her eyes sort of glazed over and she hugged her pillow and thought about her man.

That was it. That little comment Angel made referencing the potions professors made her laugh. She laughed until her belly hurt. "Somebody is extra full of themselves today." For a moment, she wondered if her potion was made a little bit off and made Angel extra full of herself. Not that this was surprising to her. Her sister was a diva in every sense of the word. Still, she couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. It was firmly planted on there, and as good as she felt... it wouldn't be going away anytime soon.
TOO MUCH LOVE...
Only it really wasn't. It was nice for the first few seconds, and then her sister was still hanging on. Slightly awkward, but not really. Sometimes AJ would hold Angel down and force her love on her. It was just what you did to people to get a good laugh. Kind of like the time she had an encounter with a unicorn. Sometimes you just had to show people how much love you had to give.
PFFT. "If anything you owe me money because you had the pleasure to hug ME." Yup, that was how it worked. She held her hand out, waiting to be compensated. "But you know I am in SUCH a good mood that I will settle for something chocolately in place of your money." She could totally compromise.
AJ let out a sigh, and flopped on her back. "Has Benny ever told you that he loved you?" The extra happiness that she had going on turned the fourth year into a total sap.

"I really hope they find the next story soon and just leave Kace and I alone." Emmy sigh. "It still hurt. I knew it wasn't true but it still hurt." The sixth year frowned. "I know why it hurt too." She said looked at Cinna. It had little to do with Kace for why she felt hurt. "Things my mother said about why someone would want to go out with me and some other things she said to me is what made it hurt because what she said really crossed my mind when I read the stupid gossip article." Emmylou wasn't proud about what she had thought when she read the article.
Cinna let out a sigh too. She hoped so too because she was just as tired of hearing about it as Emmy was. Cinna frowned "I'm sorry, people has to keep it going." She frown more. She really did feel bad for Emmy. Things like this was things that Cinna normally didn't let it bother her but this had a lot to do with Emmy. So it did bother her. Someone was messing with Emmy. The gryffindor did not like that at all. It was sweet little adorable Emmy for Merlin's sake. She wouldn't hurt a fly unless provoked too. Oh She understood now why it was bothering her. She frowned even more, if that was possible. Now she felt really bad, scooting over closer to her she hugged her. "I'm sorry. Emmy none of it is true. Kace cares so much about you. Your mother has no idea what she is talking about. Okay." Now she was really clingy to Emmy she didn't know why. She just hated seeing her best friend/sister/Cousin like this. Emmy was just wonderful to her and her mother couldn't see it. That was Juliette's problem.

Angel playfully nudged her sister. "Hey if you've got the look like me you might as well flaunt it." Angel continued to nudge her. "I do have the look like you, actually..." They shared the same face after all. Did she remember? That was where their alikeness ended. Angel was a girly girl and pretty much a diva. Her hair was always done, and her make up was flawless. Whereas, AJ's hair was almost always in a messy pony tail, and there was never make-up on her face. Converse shoes, jeans and a t-shirt was her go to items. SNORT. AJ was laughing again and it was hard to stop. "You are SO full of yourself." It was comical. With all the laughing that she was doing the fourth year felt light.
No chocolate? AJ highly doubted that, but she was in no mood to argue. In fact she was feeling so nice that she wondered how people ever could argue. What could be so bad in this beautiful life they all got the pleasure of living? "That will work." For now anyways. AJ took the soda from her sister and opened it.
Before she could react there was soda spewing EVERYWHERE. Her hair was soaked and her chin was dripping in the liquid goodness, and she was laughing again. The little bit that was left in the can ended up all over her sister. "Mom always told me to share." So HA!
Awwwww! "That's so sweet." It really was. Even if she wasn't under the influence of the potion, she was sure she would be feeling the same way. "I just love that we are both in love with best friends." AJ flopped back on the bed and sighed. Life was good and her goofy grin was here to stay.
Emmylou took her hands off her hip and looked at the cute house elf. Could house elves take breaks? "No thank you Toddles. I'm fine right now." The sixth year said and smiled at him. "Is Toddles allowed to take a break?" The house elf could join in on their conversation if he wanted to. Emmylou wouldn't mind at all.
Toddles hears mistress says his names. Yes he does. Toddles looks at mistress with big eyes. "Toddles no breaks. Toddles needs to works. Toddles is good elfs. Ifs Toddles no works then Toddles bad elfs." Toddles nods and begins to cleans. Mistress says she wanted no snackies, so Toddles continued to makes beds.

"Hey!" Angel giggled as she got soaked with the Coca-Cola. "I'll get you back for this!" Okay so Angel was the one to start it but her sister was going to get pushed into the lake or something for what she did. "Maybe I should use my wand and make a lake in the dorm." Angel was totally enjoying spending some time with AJ.
