Girls Only!! (That includes you Misters Potter and Weasley!)
A funny inscription etched on the door with a potions knife reminds us all of the great deeds Harry Potter and his friends performed in this very bathroom during their time at Hogwarts. While this second floor bathroom is indeed still haunted by Moaning Myrtle, it is no longer nearly as shifty as it used to be in Harry Potter's time.
And hopefully, these days the toilets are only being used for.... well, toilety things, not for brewing potions.
OOC Note: All SS Board Rules and School Rules apply in this bathroom. Violators may be punished both OOC and IC should they break any of those rules.
The slide down was no match for their hairy legs ascending from the depths of the Chamber, it had been some days since any human flesh had entered their temporary lair and teased their hunger. But Mother had said no and therefore no human flesh had been savored.
Yet.
Four massive bodies scurried out from the entrance and into the partly flooded bathroom, the splashing of water hiding their arrival for the time being.
Many of their siblings had left the darkness not too long ago and were now in position to begin.
Caleb just blinked. He couldn't see anything either but that was because it was a deep deep hole, yes? It was the yelling and screaming that concerned Caleb, and that was....
...not happening anymore.
Blink blink blink. He paused and listened. Sure enough, no more screaming. That...was not a good thing, in his mind. What if they were DEAD?! EVIE WAS DOWN THERE! AND LUX! "I swear, there was yelling down there just a few moments ago! I saw Evangeline Shacklebolt come in here, and Lux Carrington, and...this Gryffindor boy," whose name he still could not recall but whatever, "They definitely did NOT leave after I saw them come in, so they had to have gone down there, and now...what if they DIED?" he said in a rush. No no no, he was NOT going to have more students die while he was prefect, he absolutely would not allow it, even if he had to go down there HIMSELF he would!
He turned to Slytherin Girl for back up. "You heard them with me, right?" he asked her.

Best get a move on it and get some space between you and those spiders. They look mighty hungry.

Hearing the Healer's reply first Maggie nodded. "That's what I said." Caleb probably wouldn't remember that but she'd TOTALLY said that he was just hearing things and that nobody was down there. She just shook her head again when he tried engaging her once again. "Nope, I'm just here because I didn't dare disobey a Prefect's order." She looked back to Healer Murdoch, wearing her best innocent!face. Could she go n-
OMG SHE WAS DEFINITELY LEAVING!!!
There were SPIDERS! With a shriek, Maggie first pointed, then jumped back, then after screeching something that remotely sounded like, "SPIDERS!" she turned around and fled the scene. Out the door. Bye. See ya.
Or not. Hopefully not really.

"I...I SWEAR I'm not making this up, why would I..." he began, and then...an army of SPIDERS started crawling out of the hole, right to him and Slytherin Girl and Healer Murdoch.
Well, whatever was going on down there, it was NOT good. Slytherin Girl took off, and Caleb knew that there was no way, NO WAY, that Healer Murdoch would believe him now. His only witness had turned on him, and he was NOT about to sit here and get eaten by spiders!
Maybe the headmistress would believe him? Or maybe he could figure out where that passage was...the one that the cartographer people found to get out of the Chamber. Caleb wasn't sure he could get up the courage to actually GO there but he could at least see if the missing students had ended up there.
"Erm, I think you're right, Healer Murdoch, I must have been hearing things...just spiders in here! And I, uh, am EXTREMELY arachnophobic so I'm...leaving. Sorry again for wasting your time!" he cried in a hurry as he backed out, tripping over his feet slightly as he tried to get away from the spiders and hurry out the door.
"Okay, okay, so there was yelling down there. I'm sure whoever it was got out of there just fine." It wasn't like they were going to come back through the bathroom anyway since the exit lead out to the lake. "And no one is DEAD!" Merlin child, be a bit more positive could you? "Get it together prefect!" She didn't need him scaring the younger student that was there with him.
She looked over to the other girl standing there. Maggie right? "So you didn't hear anything at all?" So much for Newell having a witness.
And then the girl was yelling about...
SPIDERS!
HOLY SPIDERS!
Where were they all coming from? And yes, she knew they were coming out of the chamber, but WHY?! WHY were they down there to begin with?
Before she had a chance to tell the students to RUN, they were already on their way out the door. "Go back to your common room NOW!" she shouted after them as she herself wasted no time getting out of the place. "I'll find the headmistress and let her know what we just seen." The woman needed to know what was happening here on the second floor, the very floor her office was on.
After making sure the door to the bathroom was closed and LOCKED she went off to find the woman in charge.
Black eyes scanning their surroundings, the small herd made their way towards the entrance. Finding it locked from the outside, the largest of the group scurried back towards the opposite wall to gain momentum. With incredible speed, it threw itself again the door and broke it down as easily as the Whomping Willow could make toothpicks out of a broom.
"Let's go," the large Acromantula sniggered, waving its black hairy front legs eagerly for its siblings to follow and meet up with the rest of the family.
