"Whaaaaat!!"Henric wailed. All the teams were attacking his house now?! Oh this was unjust! He worked hard in capturing those flags, but he felt like all their teamwork effort were simply gone to waste. The tragedy...for being the nicest, most caring house of all time. He reminded himself it was only a game but it was still hard to take in..alright. At first, Henric could only stand helplessly by the side and watched the other teams chased after all the yellow flags still remained in the 'war' field and changed them into their own house colour. Brutal...weren't they?

He saw one lone and brave Hufflepuff trying to defend their fort. Wow! He admired his spirit! He should help out too, it wasn't over right?! No! Henric was't going to give up easily,NO HE WASN'T! He ran forward and stood beside his Hufflepuffians, if defending their forts were the last thing he would do...then so be it! Badgers were loyal to their last!

"Finite! Finite!"he cast one after the other.

And Brian was really really tired now. A nap would be nice. Maybe crawl into the trees and take a nap - NO. What was he thinking? He had to continue defending their fort! What kind of Hufflepuff was he if he actually ditched his house? A BAD ONE. It went against their very principles!

With a loud war cry, he charged at the Gryffindor flags, turning one of them yellow with a dramatic "COLOVARIA!" before returning to the Puffers. It seemed like everyone was just on the offense now and if Hufflepuff was left on its own, they were going to end up dead. This was UNFAIR.

What was WITH these Gryffindors? Sheesh! "Finite!" he cast on one of the flags on the Hufflepuff side that was now red. HMPH. How cruel of them, attacking the poor Puffers. Oooh, alliteration! Poor Puffers. EHEHE.

Ravenclaw out, and all on Hufflepuff then? COOL. That sounded fun, even though Toby was pretty sure they'd never win against all three houses. But the point was to at least TRY.

Back, he was running back... and...

Huh... maybe he should have checked these flags before running out on the offensive, because it looked like a lot had already been turned to different colours. Toby kept running, back to the Hufflepuff banners, and was already pointing his wand at one of flags that was now blue. He'd not spotted who turned it that colour, and it was impossible to tell who it had been, not that Toby really minded. All part of the game, right?

"Colovaria!" Toby cast, pointing his wand at the blue flag and watching as it fluttered in the breeze and shifted back to yellow. He wondered if they were allowed to use 'finite' for this part, just for EXTRA FAIRNESS to make sure that it had definitely turned BACK to it's original colour rather than having a whole new 'mask'. But then... that would make no sense, because the point of the lesson was to learn the colour spell, after all. Right? Maybe? Hm. Well, probably they'd all be finite'd at the end of the lesson anyway, right?

Of course, these thoughts took about 0.00003473 seconds to run through Toby's head, because soon he was back off running in another direction, looking for another flag to change.

This time, when he saw a red flag, he kept running for it instead of letting himself distracted. One track mind: turn it yellow.

"Colovaria!" Tobias cast once again, focusing on the colour he wanted as he pointed his wand at the flag and watched it change to a nice Hufflepuff shade of yellow. Obviously, with all this practice, yellow was becoming the easiest colour to change things too. He'd had to get extra practice with other colours later.

Without even stopping, Toby ran off in another direction to look for more flags in the Gryffindor/Slytherin fort. Then he'd go help fix any more flags. Good plan.

Was the blue banner he fixed THE last one that Quigley saw? Muehehehe. Whether or not it was the exact, last Ravenclaw flag, Ethan did a small fist pump in the air. And…hahaha! Where was Henric? See what he meant? Poor Puffie talked too soon, because now, the three houses were against them.

With all the crouching and running and all that, Ethan was pretty tired from all the running and whatnot. So instead of attacking the poor Puffers, he walked casually towards the enemy’s territory, leaned against a tree to rest, and changed ALL the Badger banners within his perimeter.

Those Hufflepuffs can go and run around in circles and try to claim what was once theirs. Hehehe. Ethan watched Henric change the banner’s colours with a smirk on his face. “Hey HENRIC! You missed THIS one! Colovaria!” Green. And yeah, it’s payback time!

Man…victory is sweet.

Thing about the red and green flags were that you sort of had to go a lot deeper into their fort to get to the flags. It made sense, because with the Hufflepuffs now under attack, it was probably quicker and safer from a defensive standpoint to only go a short way into the other base to attack flags before coming back to change any back. If you left the base at all.

But Toby was fast, and he didn't mind running long distances. Went for huge long runs every morning, after all. So he was quite alright with going deep into the Slytherin and Gryffindor fort for some of the less obvious flags, then sprinting right back again. It was fun, he was wearing himself out. No doubt he'd still have plenty of energy to get out of this ditch, too.

Running, running, running... a majority of Slytherins and Gryffindors were back there going for the Hufflepuff banners, so Toby had plenty of free space to work with back here. He found a green flag he'd already passed a couple of times on his way back and forth through the ditch, and pointed his wand at it.

"Colovaria!"

Just like that, the green faded out and then it was yellow. Merlin, the yellow was so bright, it was surprising that Hufflepuff hadn't been out first. Toby always seemed to just go for whatever caught his eye, and the yellow was... definitely eye-catching.

Not musing on that for too long, Toby turned tail and sprinted right on back towards Hufflepuff's base... fort... thing.

Whoa whoa whoa!!!!!

...

No more Blues?! HAHAHAHAHAHA... ahem. Whoops.

And what was even funnier, was that they were given the command to ATTACK THE HUFFLEPUFFS! HAHAHAHAHAH... he took a moment to get his laughs out. This was just hilarious. Truly hilarious.

Zeke marched forward, determined to attack what was left of Fort Badger. Ducking and weaving between trees and bushes, he finally caught sight of the bright bright yellow of a flag.

Excellent.

Marching closer still, Zeke pointed his wand at the yellowness of it, and imagined the glorious red that it was going to become, then without an ounce of hesitation, "Colovaria!" he cast, turning the yellow to red.

Brian was getting a little agitated. Were they allowed to hex the people changing the banners or would he lose house points for it? He probably would, and even though it would be incredibly rewarding, it would just not help. Once back at their home base, Brian groaned. Why was it HUFFLEPUFF everyone was ganging up on, again? It was just so unfair!

"Finite!" he cast on the yellow-turned-red flag. That was mean, Zeke. Beaming at the glorious yellow returned to the flag, he sprinted over to the Slytherin fort. He was getting fitter by the second. He could FEEL it. They should probably do these games more often. It was a good way to keep Hogwartians healthy, especially in this kind of chill. Pointing his wand at the Slytherin green of the nearest banner, he imagined the most blinding shade of yellow he could. "Colovaria."

Success.

Angel felt a bit sorry for the Hufflepuff as it seemed like the Professor wanted everyone to attack them but she was glad it wasn't the Gryffindors that were being attacked.

Angel ran towards a yellow flag and pictured the colour red in her mind. "Colovaria!" Angel pointed her wand at the flag and watched as it went red... this was awesome but she hoped her best friend Leah who was from Hufflepuff and her fake bro Adi who seemed to be ignoring her lately wasn't cross with her for doing it, though at the minute it seemed Adi was cross with her for something and she had no idea what.

Henric could see his fellow Hufflepuffs giving it their all. It they weren't busy fending off the three teams from changing their flags colour, this would be a touching scene indeed. Look at them...Hufflepuffs working together with sweat pouring down their faces, undeterred by the size of their opponents. It was by sheer determination and drive that kept them going even when the odds were against them.

Henric turned to Ethan's mocking voice from behind him. The nerve of this guy before rolling his eyes at him,"Yeah..yeah...laugh all you want,mate..we will never forget this,"he muttered under his breath, slightly annoyed. Its a game...a game..Henric, no need to get agitated too.On top of that,he was getting tired and thirsty from all the exertion he put in this, timeout...timeout...anyone?! No...not another flag! He was already panting when he got to his used-to-be his house flag.

"Fini-...Fini~"he tried to say out the spell but it was getting hard to. Henric pulled his last strength together and shouted,"Finite!" and watched the blue flag changed back to its original yellow. He flopped down onto the ground, his legs giving out atlast. He wiped away the sweat forming on his forehead with the back of his hand, there were going to lose out in the end...he just knew it.

LOLOLOL this was madness. Pure and utter chaos.

And boy, was Grayson chuffed at the sight in front of him.

Twirling his wand between his fingers, the boy dodged a spell and moved closer towards the yellow territory. This was all about tactics, man, and if they were gonna win this thing, they needed to be sly and clever about this. And gang up on the yellows until their flags were eliminated. Attack from all sides. Bombard them with enough colour spells to give them something to cry about.

And then there it was. His opportunity.

"Colovaria!" he called, wand pointing over towards the recently-turned yellow flag and changing it to a nice shade of green. Green was a much better colour, mkay?

Hearing the announcement that there were no more Blue flags left had the small snakette grinning slightly to herself. It was no time to venture onto territory land and take out the rest of the yellow flags.

Darting forward across the grounds Hady carefully skirted around several large trees like they were part of an obstical course. Over a large rock that was in her way and then up a small ledge like area. She stopped a yellow flag in the distance and quickly aimed her wand at it before anyone else could not spotting anyone around her. "Colovaria!" She called out firmly fixing the green color she needed in her mind. Without any pause the once Hufflepuff flag now stood as a Slytherin one. Perfect.

Time to keep moving the game was probably soon drawing to a close.

............. Yes. With everyone attacking, there was definitely no shortage of flags to return back to their original colour. Man, it was BRUTAL. The yellow flags were dwindling. Toby sped up a little to get there faster, eyeing a red flag that he'd literally just seen change colours from yellow only moments ago.

Running, running, fALLING, FALLING.

His foot caught on... something, and Toby went down spectacularly, all but diving through the air and rolling over the floor. But instead of lying there, he kept rolling and sprang back up to his feet, ignoring the twinge of pain in his right ankle. It was fine, this was fine.

He'd reached the flag a little faster, at least, and with style. Toby held up his wand again and pointed it up at the newly-red flag. "Colovaria!"

He barely stuck around to see the result of his spell, instead turning back and heading back over enemy lines the boundary to get to the red and green flags. Behind him, the now-yellow flag rippled in the breeze.

Even as he ran, Toby felt his ankle twinge again, but he just went on ignoring it, limping eeeeeeeeever so slightly but just passing it off as his overly bouncy gait. Back through the other 'fort' he went, his eyes on one eye-catching red flag in particular. His wand was up and pointed at it before he even stopped.

"Colovaria!" Toby exclaimed, definitely a little out of breath by this point. He stood there, breathing deep and getting aaaaall dat oxygen while he watched the flag turn yellow. But he didn't break for long, as the more he kept moving and focused on the activity, the better he felt. Only moments later, Toby was running back towards the Hufflepuff fort yet again. He knew his path well by this point.

You know what he was starting to realise? This was a test on physical endurance as well. Running back and forth was getting tiring and he kinda didn't want to leave his spot in the enemy lines. But the Puffers were retaliating and dude was having none of that.

He narrowed his eyes at the Hufflepuff kid over there (Brian) who was changing a Slytherin green to a Hufflepuff yellow. In their fort. Rude. Had no one taught this kid not to mess with Slytherins?

Giving the Slytherin girl closest to him (Hady) a nod, he sprinted off towards the direction of the Slytherin fort. The unknown girl could take care of herself, no doubt, and this was his way of saying to keep the green strong in this side of the ditch. Slytherins looked out for each other first, after all.

When he finally reached the Slytherin fort -- seriously, why in the name of Merlin was it so freaking far away? -- Grayson pointed his wand up at the flag and cried, "Finite!" The yellow flag whipped in the breeze as it changed into a nice shade of green. Good. There.

Hiss hiss, Hufflepuffs.

Ow. Okay. Ow. Ow.

That sorta hurt.

Toby was definitely feeling it, yep. He slowed right the way down at another pang of pain in his right foot, eventually stopping and leaning up against a tree to take the weight off of it. Not wanting to have to stop when the activity was getting all exciting, Toby leaned down to peer at his ankle and poke at it just a little bit, though he had no idea what he was doing. Clearly he'd only twisted it in that stumble, which was no big deal. Not like it was broken or anything, but maybe that would have been better, 'cause he knew the spell to fix that.

But it was fine. He'd felt worse through Quidditch, after all. The Hufflepuff shrugged and straightened up a bit, tentatively putting his weight back on that side as he looked up and around at his surroundings again, and...

... oh. Would you look at that. There was a green flag nearby that Toby hadn't even spotted before. That was probably a good sign. His ankle was helping him. That was a bright side, and Toby felt relieved to think of it. How long had it been since he'd found the bright side of something so easily? He pointed his wand at the green flag.

"Colovaria!" Whoosh. Now it was yellow.

And off Toby went again, continuing his journey back to base, doing his best to run with the most normal gait as he could manage.

Hady had to keep going there wasn't any time left to stop and take a break. She broke into a decent run however she was intent on being careful and not getting hurt! It wasn't easy when one had to move around things and not crash into anyone.

Slipping on tossed about dirt her feet sliding to the left while Hady was still trying to go right. Reaching out with her arms flailing for a moment she grabbed hold of whatever was closest. That being a tree of course which managed to scrap up her arm however she didn't even seem to notice. It was all for the sake of the game and her team! Oh well at least she hadn't fallen! Standing once more firmly her feet Hady dusted herself off briefly before continuing to duck through some brush her wand fixed at a yellow flag.

This time she'd turn it red again since they were still a team right? Yeah, she thought they were. "Colovaria!" She called out picturing the flags coloring changing and grinning when it went to a bright red. She was getting good at this.

Angel was totally enjoying herself trying to get all the hufflepuff flags to change another colour... she decided that she would change the colour into something other than red, she wanted to make sure she was still good with the spell if she used a different colour with the spell.

"Colovaria!" Angel pointed her wand at the closet yellow flag and though about the colour green in her mind. Angel was totally happy when suddenly the yellow flag went green... how awesome was that? Angel was totally enjoying herself now.

Jeez, with everyone running around like headless chickens, Grayson was surprised that there hadn't been an accident before now. Surely someone was gonna be idiotic and do something they shouldn't do. No? No point in hoping?

MAN.

There was hardly any time to think about that since the boy was busy running back towards enemy lines. Gotta give those Puffers something to cry about, after all. He dodged a few students running to Merlin knows where as best as he could but it was hard to keep up with them all. Some were freaking tiny, man, and seemed to come up out of nowhere like the ninjas that they were. Bumping into them was kinda inevitable and dude wasn't sorry. There was a war going on down here.

Reaching the Hufflepuff territory, the Slytherin took a moment to catch his breath back, clutching onto the stitch forming on his side as he did so. Breathe, man, just breathe it all out. "Colovaria!" he said once he caught enough of his breath back, his wand pointed up at the nearest yellow flag. Nice and green. That's what he liked to see.

Now it was just time for this stitch to leave him in peace.

Yooooooooo, back at the Hufflepuff fort. He made it. He was here. In one piece and everything.

But there was no time to relax. Those Hufflepuffs were blinking out faster than Toby could keep up with. He hop!limp!ran across to one of the flags that MR. WHITLOCK was hanging out by, and had clearly just turned green. But was he upset? Not a chance. All in the spirit of the game, wasn't it? Toby awkwardly bounced to a halt by the now-green flag, pointed his wand at it and-

"Colovaria!" Back to yellow again.

Turning back to run into the depths of the Slytherin 'fort' again, Toby paused long enough to grin at Grayson and wink at him, reaching up to ruffle the Slytherin's hair as he passed before darting away again like an energetic... uhhh... deer, or something. Whatever.

Toby awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

The running was definitely starting to take it out of him. Not that he was exhausted or anything, but they had been going for a long while now, and his lungs could only do so much. Luckily enough for him, he had adrenaline on his side.

Red flag, up ahead. Toby had actually been so focused on his breathing that he almost missed it. But the flash of red caught his attention and he very quickly skidded to a painful halt right in front of it.

"Colovaria!" Toby exclaimed, bringing his wand up to point at the flag.

...

...

... uhh... was it gonna...? OH, there it was. The moment of delay had been confusing, but after a couple of seconds the red flag had turned yellow instead, so off Toby went again.

A wink AND a hair ruffle? Oh Tobias Fuller-Thompson, you TEASE.

Grayson smiled widely at the Hufflepuff and his flirtatious tendencies. Dude was the freaking best, there was no doubt about it. The Slytherin made a kissy face at the boy in response to his winking and hair ruffling because that seemed like the best idea right about now. So did checking out certain goods. It was a habit and all and he just couldn't help himself. Besides, he didn't think Toby would MIND.

Eh. Whatever.

Despite being on good terms with the Hufflepuff, he wasn't gonna let him think he can just use his charm and innocence to get away with changing the flag colours and not have anyone do anything about it. This was still a competition and all. Kinda. He failed to see what the ultimate prize was. If there was one, it had better be a freaking fantastic one otherwise all of this effort would be wasted and dude wasn't gonna be happy about that.

So........ he was gonna go after that flag that Toby had just turned yellow as stealthily as he could. Not that many people could notice what with the chaos that was this activity but you never know, man. "Finite!" he called, pointing up at the yellow flag and watching as it turned back to the red colour it had been. It wasn't as great as green but eh, it was gonna have to do.

And there was Professor Quigley making the awaited announcement.

Nope...not the one that ended the game, but the one that quickened the pace of it. Ravenclaw had been defeated and no absorbed into the Sltherin/Gryffindor mash-up against Hufflepuff all on his...its lonesome. Sure enough, when Benny chanced a look around the field, there was not a blue flag in sight, just red, yellow and green. So it was time to turn the tables around on the badgers to bring them down.

Time to go changing flags then.

Benny picked his way off to his right and towards a yellow flag. "Colovaria" Now it was red.

WHATTTT?

Everyone attack HUFFLEPUFF? That meant Ravenclaw was out! Eeeep! But the Puffers would not go down without a fight. Nope. Not now, not ever! Being far away from his Puffer and Claw line, there was no way Adi could help change some of their own flags back to the usual colour. Ah, well.

ATTACK THE ENEMIES!

Hehe.

"Colovaria!" Point! Concentrate! There was a red flag that went oh-so-quickly to yellow. Awesomeee! NOW. Where were the other green and red flags? The Puffer began scanning for more flags which were quickly drying up.

Nothing like a casual surprise interaction with Grayson Whitlock to raise your spirits, right? That's what Toby thought, for sure. He grinned to himself even has he jogged through the trees in the ditch, slowing down in order to look for his next target. He was just planning on finding Grayson at the end of class and jumping on his back when he spotted another green flag.

Perrrrrfect. And fitting, 'cause of how he'd just spoken to Grayson, who was in Slytherin. That was like... fate, or something.

"Colovaria!" Toby said, pointing his wand up at the green flag, then twirling it between his fingers as he watched the flag change colours. Lalala, boooom. Yellow. Good job.

Aaaaaand back again, back to rescue some Hufflepuff flags, maybe. Toby had a good system, and it was fun to stick to it and keep running back and forth. Keep moving, gotta keep moving. Running and spinning his wand through his fingers and rahh.

With each step she took she was growing thirsty. However a drink needed to wait for there were still more flags a flying! Her sneakers hit the dirt with a small dull thud as she kept moving further onto enemy land. There was more yellow flags further back, she was sure of it and they needed to be taken out. Sorry Adi! She thought mentally to herself feeling semi badly about attacking her friends house but this was only a game and nothing more.

As her hazel eyes swept left then right she was sure there had to be a flag somewhere over here. The sounds of others feet and people dashing by around her kept her from wanting to be seen. Ducking lower Hady carefully crept deeper into the brush until she saw it. Just up ahead flapped a yellow flag placed between to large trees. Surely it was easy to miss if she hadn't been really looking.

Holding her wand out in front of her she aimed at the yellow enemy flag. "Colovaria!," she called out focusing on the green color of her own house this time. Instantly the once yellow Hufflepuff flag now stood as a proud Slytherin green.

Which the game was over she knew what she was doing first. Going to the Great Hall for a nice cold drink then going for a shower to get rid of all the dirt she was currently covered in..and to clean the scraps she received. No big deal though, she was having a good time.

Everyone attack Hufflepuff?!

Eyes widening, Lux knew that her team really needed her now. Time to leave enemy territory and help defend the yellow flags as best she could. Sprinting back across the battle ground, she kept her eyes peeled for anyone changing yellow flags.

Oh. There was Hady.

Approaching the green flag, she pointed her wand at it. "COLOVARIA!" There. Yellow once more.

Lulz! Ethan chuckled as the poor Hufflepuff youngster sat on the ground, obviously exhausted from the game. The Slytherin however, hoped Henric wasn’t hurt or anything. That’ll kill all the fun in the game. The older Snake coolly approached the Puffer and gave him a nice pat on the shoulder. “You’re doing great Henric. Get up and fight!” Wait, why the pep talk? Oh yeah yeah, good kid Henric was, and he ought NOT to give up too soon.

The Slytherin had to get out of the way because the yellow kids were darting to and from either camps, trying to get back as much yellow banner as possible. Ethan quickly spotted Adi, and the Slytherin followed him. “No, that’s wrong rockstar. Finite!” And the yellow banner quickly turned back to red.

Eh. Whatevs.

As soon as Tobias zoomed past him, the Slytherin quickly turned and saw another yellow banner flapping happily. “Nope. Colovaria!” And the badger banner was now green. Yaaas!
