Adi grinned as he and AJ's hand connected for the high five. "Awesomeee! I'm still the best though.'' He would have said more but Quigley was addressing the class again.

WOAH! WHAT was happening to the class? O_O No doubt this was for the practical. What, what, WHAAAT? The Professor didn't want him and AJ working together? Why NOT? They made a GREAT team and got their work done. He shot a quizzical look at AJ. Whatever the Professor said... but he would ask the man later for the reason. "Catch you later, AJ,'' the boy said before heading off to find a partner for the activity, placing his parchment in the box as he went.



Oh, looky! Did that ickle guy need a partner? By the looks of it, it sure seemed like that was the case.

"Heya! Looking for a partner?'' The EAGER Puffer needed a partner, yo! We promise he'll be careful with you and not cause any injury.

Hehe, Zhenya couldn't help a smile cross her face. "Thanks. It's Russian," she said, her own moderate Russian accent obvious.

Zhenya felt quite amazed herself as Echo came off the ground and into the air. She laughed as the enthusiasm of falling onto the squishy floor. It looked like fun! "Falling not too bad?" she asked. Zhenya had never really liked the feeling of falling. The guts being higher than the brain type feeling. She nodded, still smiling broadly, and pointed her wand at Echo again. How weird was this, pointing a wand at someone? "Alarte Ascendare," she said again, her wand brandishing at Echo.

"Potions and Arithmancy!? Pfft...ain't nobody got time fo' dat!" Henric replied with a bit of sass, flipping his imaginary long hair at her. In all seriousness though, he did need to put a lot of effort with these two subjects. It was their streaming year too, Henric need all the help he could get and he would be very grateful to llia if she did.

Henric was laughing so hard his stomach hurts and made his eyes a little teary."Oh wow..I can't believe you fall for that!"he stopped immediately when he finally noticed llia's look towards him. Henric held out his hands to surrender,"Alright..alright, I was only joking,"he grinned but she still wasn't looking back at him.

"Don't be like that,llia, I was only...WHAA!" Henric was lifted up in the air by a few inches before gravity started to pull him down. He bounced back up again when his feet touched the trampoline floor,temporarily losing his balance and had his face fell flat onto the surface.
"Ow."he moaned.

"You can do it!!" Rowan encouraged. She was all for cheering other people on, it was fun, and the floor was bouncy so she wasn't going to be able to hurt herself, whatever happened. She prepared herself for the coming spell aaaand...

WEEEEEEE

She giggled madly as she was bounced into the air without having to move... "You did!!!!!!"

And now Rusty had to do it. "Are you ready?" she asked, still grinning as she tried to focus herself. Right. Let's DO this.

"One... two.. three. Alarte Ascendare!" Rusty brandished her wand at her friend, and to her amazement, Marsha's feet actually left the ground!!! She didn't go quite as high as Rusty had, but she could work on her concentration and maybe that would help? The excitement was getting in the way...

Someone definitely fit their House. At the very least, it wasn’t seeming like Brooklyn could get a word in edgewise, but then, she hadn’t particularly cared. As long as the Lion didn’t do something wrong and turn her into a fish or something, they’d be fine. She didn’t need to talk. She didn’t honestly know if the particular spell they were using could fail and turn anyone into a fish anyway, but she wasn’t planning on finding out. She’d just have to dodge if things seemed like they’d go really wrong, or hope the trampoline floor made the other girl miss. She appreciated her existence way too much to risk it.

Later didn’t seem to be too much of a problem, either, as the first time the girl had cast the spell didn’t do much more than make Brooklyn bounce a little more than she had been. She certainly hadn’t flown into the air. “Brooklyn Andrews,” she replied. At least one of them would have their name known, and it seemed as if they’d be here for a while if the other girl kept messing up the charm. At least it hadn’t been too much of a mistake. Things could have been bad if she got injured, slammed into someone else or a wall.

Angel listened to what the Professor said, this seemed like it was going to be fun and amazing... she couldn't wait to see what would happen with this spell. "Anyone want to be my partner?" Angel promised that she wouldn't get over excited about what they were doing and would try not to shoot them into the sky, though she thought it would be fun.

YOOOOO.

Hugh was like Mr. Popular or something. A feeling mostly unaccustomed to him. Like, three people wanted to work with him on taking turns catapulting him into the air. If they were all his imagination (because philosophy) his mind was working very hard today. Three of them. Wanting to throw him up in the air. Yo, if Hugh had it in him to be offended or notice anything beyond his reality he probably would have thought that was strange. Three people jumping at the opportunity to fling him in the air.

Was there something appealing about doing that to him? Fo' real.

"Oh, uh, YES. I do need a partner. Maybe we could all work together? Or split this in half?" Names. Names. What were their names? Well, save Eden. He knew HER.

Barely.

Michael raised his eyebrows when not only he but two other people came over to ask the Slytherin, whose name is apparently Hugh, if they could be his partner.

Mr Popularity or what?

"Yeah we could do that. I'm cool with whatever." So long as they knew what they were doing and he wasn't going to find himself with a limb missing or something. "The name's Michael by the way. Michael Toussaint."

He flourished his wand between the three. "So who wants to go first?"

WOAH! Adi had not realised that others had wanted to grab this dude as their partner. He grinned at Eden and Mikey, the latter whom he knew barely.

"Hi, guys! Little dude here has a great idea! We sure can work together if you all like.'' Adi LOVED working with as man persons as possible so it did not matter to him. While he waited on Eden and Mikey for their responses, he turned back to the younger guy. "Hey! I'm Adi. Can I try the spell on you first?'' Because he was ALLLLLLL SET to go, yo!

His Hippogriff feathered core wand was in his hand and ready to do some brandishing! MHMMMM!

The classroom was transforming and this was looking good because why would you need to remove the ceiling and add a trampoline if things weren't going to get real? EEP! They were going to be shooting each other up in the air. This was going to be freaking epic. No way did she think the professor was going to let them try it out on each other. This just goes to prove that the catman was uber cool.

Why couldn't Aubrey partner up with Adi? Oh wait. That was her... it was weird hearing somebody call her by her full name. Wait a minute... that meant...

"That's not fair." Realization was just now dawning on her. Adi was a prefect and never got in trouble, and she... well, maybe she shouldn't bring up her past because tackling students at dinner and kicking in a door that just so happened to belong to a professor wouldn't be helping her case. She did good things though like Airey's waiting room was glitter free-ish thanks to her. Nobody cared about that though. Hmph. "We would be able to shoot each other up higher than everybody else." That was it, wasn't it? Quigley didn't want the other kids feeling bad about their far less awesome skills. Whatever.

Angel still needed a partner, and AJ made her way over to her. "We can work together." AJ looked up to the professor one more time. "If that's okay with you, sir." She really needed to stop while she was ahead.

Well if they didn't make some sort of start they were going to be standing around all day and getting nothing done. Michael eyed the Hufflepuff and his wand before re-holstering his own.

"You can try the spell on me Adi." Merlin, he hoped that he was not going to regret this. The guy was a Prefect so he should be responsible. "You are confident with the spell, right?"

When he gave her sass back with a 'hair toss' and some odd grammar, Ilia simply raised an eyebrow at him as if to say.....Really? She knew those were two of Henric's most difficult subjects , whereas she was actually quite good at Potions and her Arithmancy was acceptable. Those were things you needed for creature medicine and she was fully intent on making her dream come true.

Ilia was too riled up to look back at his surrender, but afterwards she kind of wished that she'd noticed. It felt good to see Henric go into the air, both because....yay she did it!...and as pay back. However, she did feel a little bad when he lost balance and landed on his face. He had come back down alright, but the trampoline bounce had gotten the better of him. She winced and rushed over to him, kneeling down beside him.

"I'm sorry." She frowned a little and gently put her hand on his shoulder. She leaned down to look in his face and make sure he was ok. "Are you alright?" That didn't smush his 'pretty face' did it?

He was standing, and feeling totally awkward, but knew there was no point in attempting to manoeuvre through the chaos that would be this lesson without one.

At the sight of Ethan, and the whole finger pointing thing, Zeke grinned.

"Let's do this, partner," he beamed, hopping off his chair, and very literally hopping asa result of his actions. Springy, NICE.

"Did you want to shoot first? Or be shot first?" He really didn't care either way, both sounded like fun to him.

OHHH, a volunteer! Adi grinned at Mikey. "Awesome!'' Let's get this show going! Was he confident? Was Mikey kidding! Adi was almost ALWAYS confident about stuff.

"I am, I AM!'' Okaaaay, maybe he should calm down a bit before he shot Mikey all around the classroom and caused him any injury.

"I'm ready... so be prepared!'' DEEEEEP BREATH! "Alarte Ascendare!'' The Hufflepuff brandished his wand. Up, up, UP! went a Mikey. Higher, higher, higher... for about seven feet before the guy started coming back to the ground.

Eh... "Um... not exactly what I was going for but it's a start.'' Yep, it was better than nothing. "Want to cast it on me or should I try it again?''

Angel was looking around wondering what would happen if she tried to spell on herself, now that would have been very interesting to see and she was just about to ask the Professor if she could give it a try, since well Benny was totally busy doing his own thing, she was just about to ask when...

AJ wanted to work with her because she couldn't work with Adi, she had nearly giggled when the Professor had said that but she had held it back. "I'd love to work with you sis." Angel thought it was going to be epic, not as epic as shooting yourself into the air but it would still be epic.

No giggles from Angel? This was rare, but AJ wouldn't have minded either way. It wasn't as if she and Adi worked together all of the time because they didn't. Did she want to partner up with him for this particular lesson? Yes, but obviously that was out of the question. Her main reason for wanting to partner with him now was because she was told that she couldn't. Somebody must have woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning. She would have an awesome time with Angel so ha! The joke was on him.

"This is going to be so much fun." AJ didn't want to chat about it anymore, she wanted to be about it. "Ready?" Usually people wasted time asking who wanted to go first and blah, blah, blah, but AJ was ready now and constant vigilance was a thing that drilled into their heads so.... "Alarte Ascendare!" Her wand moved in just the right ways but Angel was moving. Why wasn't Angel moving? Was she still irritated about getting told what to do? That was a possibility. Now the professor's choices was hindering her education. Thanks alot, Quigley.

Angel thought that this was going to be very interesting and she was about to ask who was going first when suddenly AJ was asking her if she was ready, well that was good, at least they didn't have to argue about who was going first and who wasn't, how awesome was that they could just get on with the lesson.

Angel waited to see what would happen and she felt herself move of the floor a little bit but not much. "It's okay sis." Angel smiled at AJ as she waited to see what her sister would do. "You can do it, I know you can." Angel had seen AJ make the paper move high into the air and she was sure that she could do the same to her.

Norah beamed at the younger girl one more time just in case she hadn't realized how EXCITING this was. The ground was SQUISHY. They were going to get shot UP. This was a biiiiiiig deal. She watched the other groups casting the spell with her hazel eyes widened before snapping her attention back to Hady. Right. Time to do this thing.

Who to go first? That was a hard question. Hard hard hard. MUCH harder than the floor which she bounced on as she thought. "I can cast first, if you want. This'll be FUN." As much as Norah wanted to get shot up in the air like a rocket it'd be much nicer to let Hady go first. And more polite, probably. Take that, mum. She took a step back and pointed her wand at Hady. Brandishing it, she called, "Alarte Ascendare!" She grinned as she waited for the Slytherin to shoot all the way to the ceiling, but her feet only ended up a few centimeters off the ground.

Ahem. Alright. Take two. She grinned sheepishly at Hady, hoping she wasn't taking much too long, and brandished her wand again. "Alarte Ascendare!" The fourth year let out a soft, "Yeeeeeah!" as her partner shot up up up.

Okay, all of this negative energy was really bringing her down. She needed to empty her mind and focus on only one thing, and that was getting the task done. AJ closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths in. The only thing that she let swim through her thoughts was images of Angel flying high into the air. Once she felt like she was focused and completely in the zone, she opened her eyes again.

"Thanks for the pep talk." No, she really wasn't being sarcastic at all. It felt good knowing that people believed in you and she was a firm believer in the fact the good moods brought positive results. "I'm going to do it this time... I just know it."

"Alarte Ascendare!" AJ brandished her wand just so. At first she didn't think that anything was happening at all and she was just about to protest when...

"Angel, you're flying!" Her sister had shot into the air. Higher, and higher she went, and AJ was feeling good about herself and her capabilities again. "I did it. I did it." Erm... how was she supposed to get her down again? No need to worry because Angel started to come back down the exact way she went up. Phew!

Accelerating a person? Well what do you know - maybe his Ronan theory was right all along. If they could lift people up with this spell, he could surely let Ronan have some fun with this.

As instructed, the fifteen year old dropped his piece of parchment in the box before moving toward his ravenclaw bestfriend.

"Okay Benzi Rider, prepare to be lifted up, up and aboove" The hufflepuff boy grinned. Oh this was going to be fun. There were too many possibilities - all of which in his head he was reenacting like the cartoons his younger sister watched - how funny would it be if Benzi's head crashed through the ceiling and little birds flew around his head.

Angel was waiting to see what would happen, when suddenly she was flying. "I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky." Angel was totally enjoying this.

"This is Angel flight 1!" Angel was totally pretending to be a plane now. "We have reached our cruising height and we are working towards getting to our destination as soon as possible." Angel giggled.

"Hey sis." Angel looked down at her sister. "I feel like Marry Poppins." Angel was totally getting ready to sing that word. What was it now? Supercalafradilicus or something weird like that. "Okay I'm ready to come down now sis." Angel hoped her sister knew how to get her down.

"This is Angel flight 1, we are ready to descend, we are coming in to land." Angel thought it had been fun and she wanted to go higher into the air next time though.

"That was fun." Angel now had to try and do the same to her sister right, which was going to be fun since she hadn't got the paper to move that high of the ground.

The beaming smile Norah had given Hady was meant with a grin. A typically Hady response really. The should get started with this it looked like all the other groups were giving it ago already.

Oh geez. Her older friend was going to cast first. It wasn't that she wasn't trusting her or scared or anything because honestly she was excited. She just hadn't expected to be told she was being shot up into the air first. "Alright, whenever you're ready," she answered moving backwards a few steps to give them both some space.

Taking a breath she listened as the charm was cast at her. At first she only left the floor a tiny bit landing softly soon after and bouncing gently a few times. "Give it another go, you can do it!" she encouraged the older girl. Getting ready once more she watched the wand being waved at her and heard the words.

Her feet left the floor and she could feel herself going Higher and Higher!

So awesome!

She didn't quiet make it through the hoop only maybe half her head did before she came falling back downwards landing with a soft 'thud' and stumbling about to get her balance. "That was awesome!" she exclaimed laughing and pulling out her wand still bouncing slightly on her feet.

"Get ready Norah it's your turn now." Hady told her as she brandished her wand at her while clearing reciting the charm, "Alarte Ascendare!" She watched the red heads feet leave the floor as she moved upwards. Hopefully this was a strong enough cast and she'd go high enough.

Toby just sort of chilled out there for a bit, not too fussed that he'd not found anyone yet. It always happened eventually. And, yep! Here was someone now! As soon as Toby realised the Gryffindor boy was about to address HIM, he automatically smiled.

Yay, he had a partner now! And he's totally a new person that he'd never seen before. Hehehe.

"Nice to meet you, Toby hy... Toby. I'm Jackson, fifth year." The Korean boy introduced himself. Kinda weird not to call him by... you know, how he addressed older student as hyung and noona since it's not really necessary here. "Well uh... I think I am gonna... try first. You didn't mind, right?" Because he seemed an easy going person. Okay, he would try first and make this guy went up. Concentrating, he brandished his wand and cast the spell toward the Hufflepuff boy. "Alarte Ascendare!" Hopefully he did good because he didn't want to injure this boy, OKAY?

Man, she had done such a good job that she gave herself a high five. That was a pretty high level of awesomeness if you asked her. AJ laughed as her sister pretended to be a plane. Angel was always coming up with something silly to say. In all honesty AJ was surprised Angel wasn't scared, though she was glad her sister was having so much fun. Maybe she had some lion in her after all.

Mary Poppins? Snort. "Whatever you do, don't start singing," she teased. Angel was another one that she teased because what else were sisters for? It was all in good fun. It was a good thing that AJ was about to get her sister down because Angel was obviously over being a plane and Mary Poppins. Their brains could be in such sync sometimes.

"My turn, my turn," she said as she hopped up and down. With the trampoline type mess beneath her she was able to hop higher than normal. "You can keep me up there as long as you want." You wouldn't hear any complaints from her. AJ could just fly around all day if it were to be allowed. Somehow she figured that wouldn't fly with Quigley too well though. Heh. Get it?

Eden cast a glance at the lion boy who had sat by her in another class and Adi. EXCUSE YOU BOTH? She was CLEARLY beelining for Hugh--but no matte. They COULD be a little four person group, she supposed, and she just raised an eyebrow at them all..."I'm Eden." She told the Gryffindor, because she wasn't sure if he knew her name. She hoped he didn't know her name. PFFT.

Hmph.

"Yeah--Hugh you and I can pair off first--" Since Adi and...was his name Mikey? had started. "Are you good at the spell already? Or do you need to practice on me?" she asked, out of good nature...he might need to practice...if he did, that was cool. Eden didn't. She felt confident enough...

For now.

Plus, she was practicing on this crumbled paper this whole time while they were all chatting. It was going UUUPPP and then falling back down into her palm. The spell could be second nature if she kept that up....

She hoped she didn't hit Hugh's head on another.... O_o
