Making her way down the train, Lux was looking for more people to spend time with on the way to school. It made things easier for her since she did not enjoy the long ride very much. Somehow it always seemed a lot shorter going home; maybe because she was so excited.

Looking into an empty compartment, she spotted Cinna and hoped it was okay to join her. She loved Cinna and wanted to be her friend forever, but sometimes it seemed that the Lion was mad at her. She never wanted to fight with Cinna because it made her sad. Honestly she missed Emmy too, but they would never be friends again. At this point she wasn't even mad anymore, but she still didn't want to be around Emmy because it was so awkward.

"Cinna, can I join you?" She wasn't sure if Emmy was supposed to come here or not but she did want to spend time with Cinna.

Eden nodded. "Yeah...I know--" she hugged back and sighed. Her life was just one big sigh, wasn't it? "I just...yeah. I haaaad to come back to finish school...you know?"

And she frowned as she tucked some hair behind her ear. SAD LIFE.

Trunk and owl stowed in the luggage compartment, Penelope found an empty compartment near the back of the train and sat down on one of the seats. Her cat Orion hopped up onto the seat opposite her, curled up, and fell asleep. This year would be Penelope's fourth year at Hogwarts. It seemed like such a short time since she had first come to Hogwarts and been sorted into Ravenclaw. She was already halfway through her education at Hogwarts. Being very introverted, Penelope didn't usually enjoy the start of term feast very much, because there were so many people. This feast would be extra challenging, because she had a job to do that might actually require talking to students in other houses who she didn't know. Penelope pulled a potion vial out of her bag and held it in her hands. If she drank this before the feast, it might be easier for her to talk to people. However, she wasn't ready to drink it just yet. She was going to wait until later to drink the potion so the effects wouldn't wear off before the feast started. Penelope placed the potion vial back in her bag. It was going to be a long train ride, and she was excited to be returning to school, but she never really liked the start of term feast nights. There were too many people and everything was too loud at the feast. The potion would help with that, when the time came. For now, she was going to do something else. Penelope pulled out her sketchbook and a pencil and started to sketch Orion sleeping on the seat.

Abby nodded and said "I know Eden that you had to come back to finish school but i am going to be here whenever you want to talk Eden" Abby wanted to be there for her friend

SPOILER!!: Yoongi

He wondered if the girl was actually sleeping or just pretended to be to avoid conversation. He did that some times when he didn't feel like talking to anyone. Watching her closely to see any signs of actual sleeping, Yoongi cocked his head to the side a little and then sat up straight again when she woke up. Had he done that or?

"Hi" he greeted back with a flash of a smile. Wow this was awkward. Luckily she had questions ready because he had ....too many that would just annoy her. "Yup i am , transfered from Charms school" he said as he reached inside his jeans pocket and pulled out a lip balm. "I'm Yoongi" he said while applying the balm to his dry lips and put it back in his jeans. "Are you in one of those houses? Shufflepuff its what they're called right?" he really need to pay attention to people from now on...

Slouching like how she was on the bench was rather disrespectful probably but due to the cat curled up and sleeping contently on her chest she wasn't about to risk moving. If the older boy had a problem with this he didn't appear to show it so for now her half sitting, half laying down position would have to do.

Ah ha! See she had been right he was a transfer student. Charms school? What exactly was that? Was it like Hogwarts at all? "Charms school?" Hady questioned with a small tilt of her head, her hand moving to smooth the fur of the cat still refusing to move off her chest. "It's nice to meet you Yoogni." Had she said his name correct? If she hadn't possibly he'd correct her on it without getting angry. Hady couldn't hold back the grin and the laugh when she heard him try to say one of the house names...clearly he'd mixed them up and combined two of them together. "Actually there's four house Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. I'm now a third year in Slytherin house." She explained after she'd stopped laughing of course.

Eden nodded and was quiet for a bit. For real, she needed to calm down and be an adult and just..get over it and stuff. It was hard, but Eden knew she could do it...

Maybe.

"Thanks, Abby. You're a good friend." She smiled a bit and patted her shoulder. "How was your summer?"

Abby smiled at Eden and said "Thanks, summer was pretty good thanks spent a lot of it in Diagon Alley getting my supplies think i brought a bit too much stuff with me for this term because i struggled to lift my trunk in the luggage compartment"

Ha. Eden had to crack a smile. "Packed too much? I mean...can you EVER pack too much? We live at Hogwarts for months on end." And whatnot. "Yeah, mine is always heavy..." and stuff. She wondered if she had packed the mirror, though..the mirror Phe gave her?

Snap.

She was sure she did.

Abby laughed and said "Yeah i suppose your right but as well as my school textbooks i seem to have slipped in quite a number of my favourite muggle books that i read when i was growing up" Abby could never be anywhere without her books

"Books are a perfectly good excuse for a heavy trunk." Eden nodded a lot in a very serious manner, because books were BOOKS, okay? It just..they were great. Though, Eden had lately not read anything for pleasure--more informational texts--that was okay. She was sure she was just going through a phase of wanting to learn ALL THE THINGS ever.

"What kind of books do you like?" You could tell a lot about a person from book preferences.

Abby smiled and said "Well i like muggle mystery and horror books as well as teenage fiction"

Eden nodded. "Ah...I'm not a fan of mysteries but fiction is fun, and fantasy, too..." she was feeling slightly more at ease, but Eden didn't know how long those feelings would last.

Like at all.

Abby nodded and said "Yeah i know where your coming from Eden, mysteries isn't everyone's cup of tea"

Noel was going to ask what was she writing about when the compartment door opened. Waho. What happened to Kyroh? Did someone take him and stretch him from both ends? TALK ABOUT TALL. And ... hair?????

"Hello" he greeted back before turning to lie on his back and pulling his feet back for the ravenclaw to sit. "So. What did you eat this summer?" Noel was kind of in a funny mood.

She was in the middle of a sentence when the door suddenly opened and there was a boy falling down onto the other seat. She blushed a little, wondering if she should say something - but then he looked up and greeted her. Then, before Jenna could respond, another boy entered as well, apparently friends with the first one.

Jenna closed her journal quickly, even though they weren't close enough to read it or anything - but better safe than sorry. And it would probably be rude to keep writing while they were here anyway. "Hi," she replied with a smile. She considered whether to say anything more, but the first boy - Noel? - was asking the second one a question, so she left it at that for the moment to observe and listen to them.

What did...he eat? Kyroh blinked considering the question. Was it some sort of joke or test? He was always so unsure of what Noel really thought of him. The other boy HAD helped him with his nosebleed last term, basically healing him on his own. But then he also said he had a face that someone would want to punch and that he didn't like Ravenclaws.....

So it was really a toss up. Slipping into the compartment Kyroh closed the door behind him before plopping down next to the girl. "I'm not too sure. Chicken? Rice? Veggies? Lots and lots of ice cream. You know, the usual." His eyes flickered from the other two people in the compartment. "What did you guys eat??" Was that a normal question to ask? Hmmm.

He did not mind the slouching all too much. Though he wasn’t much of a feline fan , he liked reptiles more. He looked at her hand as she was smoothing the cats fur and then looked back at her face. She looked fairly surprised to hear Charms School. Had she never heard of the place before? Then again, he hadn’t heard much about Hogwarts as well apart from that it was a castle before he came here.

“Yes, it’s a school for Charms” obviously. “It’s in Great Britain and it’s a school that specialises in Charms. I got the subject every day and the other subjects depended on the day.” He looked outside the window for a second and saw that it was getting darker already. “So I’m pretty advanced in Charms” he grinned. Though he was a complete failure in subjects like Potions though but he wasn’t going to mention that.

“Yoongi” he corrected her immediately. People tend to mispronounce his name a lot but it wasn’t that difficult? He didn’t think so anyways. The House names, now that was hard to to pronounce! “Ah yes! I heard that Slytherin has a Snake as an animal right?” he said after he had looked at her with a bit of a glare while she was laughing. But it was gone quickly though, he never stayed mad for a long time. “I hope to come in Shuf---I mean, Hufflepuff, that sounds like a nice house”

He looked outside the window again and realised that they were almost in Hogsmeade. He looked back at Hady and stood up , grabbing his back. “I need to change in to my robes” he said as he was still wearing his muggle clothes. “We need to hang out sometimes” he smiled with his teeth flashing and turned on the spot to go to the rest room to change.

So they had a deal? They were going to split their piggy banks and buy a train during the winter, when the market cleared up and it became a buyers market again. Oddly enough, this kind of conversation with Austin wasn't what Ophelia would find weird, which probably spoke a lot to her personality more than anything else. It was amazing he hadn't found her weird yet.

"Glad to be doing business with you, Moore. Now about those investments...." The little blonde talked fast, like she imagined one of those confident business men would do when talking business. To be honest, the thirteen year old STILL had no idea what she was even talking about, but that was the fun of these conversations. You didn't have to know what you were talking about. You could make it up and the other person would usually go along with it.

And about that tradition, it seemed like an interesting idea. Heck, if Ophelia worked quickly, she might even get some stuff together for the two to have a little celebration on the train. The possibilities were endless, and immediately the motors in her head started turning and she started planning.

"Well Austin, I guess that settles it." She sat up straighter in her seat. "I hereby declare that this is the of of a new tradition!" Yep, the little blonde was excited. Mostly excited because she was thinking of twenty different things she could do, but still extremely excited.

And about those puns. Yeah, he was cute, but puns were kind of killing the deal here. Oh, who was she kidding? They were making the situation worse! What? Puns were like the cutest form of jokes. Completely harmless and really snazzy. But still, the urge to mock her crush won out over the urge to compliment him. Because that's how the littlest Clarke child rolled.

"Austin, I hate to break it to you Daarrrrllllinnng." Yes, she was doing the accent back to him. It worked so well when he did it and now she wanted to try. And the results were... interesting? Meh. Ophelia didn't know how she sounded. "But puns are only cute when I do them." She touched his arm with her hand in mock comfort, and then quickly took it off when she realized how awkward it probably was. Was it awkward for him, or was it only awkward for her? How did this thing work? MAYDAY, MAYDAY.

Taking a breath, she went back to normal, or as least as normal as she could be. "But keep trying. the're kind of funny. You have that going for you."

Austin decided to keep his business voice as the talk on trains continued. "Well Miss Clarke, I am glad you feel that way. I'll have my people contact your people when the first snowfall hits." Did he have people? No. The only living creature he could call his 'people' was his owl. And she wasn't a real person. But it sounded fancier that way. He took her hand and shook it, as if they had finally closed on a long awaited deal. "We're so glad to have you on board." HAH. Train pun.

His voice turned back to his original as she made her decleration. "I have to admit that I am a bit under dressed today. But I promise that next term will be better." Aw man, he was going to have a suit and everything. Or was that too fancy? He didn't know. Better to be over dressed than under dressed. Like he was today. Oh well.

Austin put his hand on his chest, and gave a very shocked face. "Uh! My aching heart!" He really was about the dramatics. "I'll have you know that I won the award last term for cutest while making puns!" He really was pulling out all of the stops. There wasn't an award for cutest while making puns, nor was there one for being cute. But he would win BOTH. "Well, Daaaarrrling," He tried to mimic her accent. "Hate to break it to you, but I'm always funny."

Oh, he had people now? She wanted people! Did her family count as people? Now they did. Ophelia sat up a little straighter, knowing that she had people to attend to her and handle her constituents. Okay, now what was a constituent? That was another word her dad always said, and last time the little blonde asked what it meant he just meant partners. But partners could mean so many things. Business partners? Were constituents just like business people?

"I'll have my people wait for a phone call." Business voice was fun. It kind of made her feel grown up and a little cute. Maybe she would continue to use business voice, but be a little more emotional with it. Make herself still sound like Ophelia, but like older and cooler Ophelia. Like Ophelia that should wear sunglasses and leather jackets. Okay, it was happening. Nothing he could do about it now.

"You're not under dressed, you just reinvented the words fancy. I mean, it makes you an innovator. I mean, I obviously innovated the word fancy first, but you can set the boys trends or something. I mean, take over the fashion world and then the actual world. That's the correct was to go. That's the secret."

And he was funny all of the time. Nope. Nope. No and no. She was THE funniest person ever. That's why she got to take over the world. But, he was funny enough. He could be her jester and advisory committee. At least she would actually listen to him. Because he's smarter than her. He was smart and funny and sweet.... and shut up. Shut up. She just had a tiny childhood crush on him and not an incredibly big one that was kind of getting annoying. Uggh.

"Excuse me? You're talking to the funniest person you know. Those jokes on the Popsicle stick, they all come from me." The tiny girl was joking of course, but it was kind of what they did. It was like their thing. And it obviously was working.

Phone? That was a muggle thing right? Was it like owls? How did those things worked? He didn't want to seem dumb, so he just went along with it. Sure, he was the one who said 'call', but it was just a muggle phrase that he had heard numerous times. "Sure thing." Merlin that wasn't even the right thing to say... What was going on??

"Ah yes. Well it's a good thing you've got me here. I will be your sense of boy fashion." He said that with pride. It was nice to be needed for something. Especially when that something involved his crush. Right.. heh... anyways.

Excuse you. I happen to be the one who taught you everything you know. I am the original funny person here, and there's no denying it." And that was that. Austin was the King of funny, he had deemed his knew region to rule over. First Sass, then Jokes. He was sure there was a third thing that he had added before... but he couldn't remember it all. He would definitely need to start making a list.

Austin was craving that feast now more than ever, and his stomach gave a small growl of agreement. He was hoping to save his fairy lights for later in the train ride, but now seemed a good time as any. So he reached in his bag, pulled the candy out, and began eating. Munching away on the sweetness that was fairy lights.

After storing her stuff in the luggage compartment, Leah walked down the corridor with her kneazle Filomena, looking through compartment doors for her friends. Soon, Filomena was gone. Not that it was unusual or anything. She loved wandering away, especially on the Hogwarts Express. The Hufflepuff was not worried either, because how many times had she been on the train and how many times was her pet not with her?

When she reached the back of the train, she changed her mind and decided that she was not going to stay with her friends in her comfort zone. It was time to make new friends! Leah knocked on the door of a compartment with a Ravenclaw girl and her cat in it and entered. "Hellooo, do you mind if I join you?" she said with a smile before taking a seat opposite the girl. She KNEW this one from school okayy, she just could not quite remember her name. "Nice sketch," the older girl commented.

"Yoongi" Hady repeated after his correction. She didn't like messing up people's names and made a point to do her best to remember his now. "Yeah Slytherin is a serpent. I have a Boa at home that I wish I could bring along but we're not aloud to have snakes at the school." It was disappointing really but there wasn't anything she could do about that. "Hufflepuff is a nice house. I have a few friends that are in it and they're all really friendly."

Catching where he was looking she looked towards the window as well. He was right they would be arriving shortly. "Sure I'd like that." Hady smiled a little bit giving a nod of her head. Leaning her head back against the window once more she waited in silence for the rest of the ride to pass by. At least she'd made a new friend.
