Janelle was excited as she heard how the Angry Birds game was going to work. She was all for a little friendly house competition. When the game started, there was total chaos. Everyone was trying to hit their opponents target at once. Janelle watched as her team got a hit. She wanted to cheer, but they needed to get another shot off,

Janelle watched as Eden loaded another ball into the slingshot. Not wanting to miss out on her big chance, Janelle aimed the ball and launched it toward the other team's phone. "Please, please, please let it hit", she thought. Her wish was granted because the ball hit squarely in the center of the SlytherDor target. "Yesssss!", she shouted.

Eden high-five'd Janelle once she launched the ball and...WOW. THEY GOT ANOTHER ONE DOWN! HECK YEAH!

She was bouncing around in excitement and she grabbed another ball, quickly, not caring if she was hogging the thing because HEY they were on a flipping ROLL right now. Eden swiftly loaded up the launcher and waited--

"GO TEAM GOOOOOOOO!" she thought a little cheering might be good!

Ohh, they were on a roll now! "GO TEAM!" she said, doing a little fist pump as she said that. She thought the Slytherins were supposed to be the competitive ones, but the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs were giving them a run for their galleons.

Kate stood behind Eden again and watched as the older girl loaded a ball onto the slingshot. A second later, the ball was off and soaring toward the target. It hit head on, causing Kate to cheer once again. "You're on a roll, Eden!" she said.

Looking around, Kate tried to determine if anybody else was going to start loading the slingshot. If they weren't, Kate was going to have another go at it herself. "This is fun," she said. The smile on her face was fueled by the energy from the game.

Wow, look at the Ravenpuffs go!!

Even though the Slytherdors were getting shots in, her team seemed to be on fire. Too bad she couldn't help the Lions because they were her favourite, but she needed to play for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

As each hit was made, Lux cheered for her team. GOOOOO RAVENPUFFS!! She was showing her House pride today. Pride for Ravenclaw too, of course.

This activity was fun!! Kate sure was right about that. Yeeeah. Hehe.

Smiling, Lux loaded another ball on the sling shot so that it could be launched at the target. Was Angry Birds like this? Because if so she would have to try it out some time. She always assumed it was about birds that were mad and attacked people. Maybe she was wrong about that.

Kate was on a roll, yo!

Adi did didn’t even bother loading the ball he had in his hand onto one of the slingshots because he was intrigued to see if Lux who was taking over now, would take down another cut out. Fingers crossed! He watched her load the ball.

Yet he need not worry one bit for she had great aim and new exactly where to set up the slingshot so that she could hit her target. Back, back, back she pulled it…

It sailed with ease to collide with another cut out. You should get into sports, ‘’ the Hufflepuff told Lux enthusiastically.

Kate was completely ecstatic by this point. She thrived on a good competition and even though there was really no major reason to want to win, she was feeling highly competitive anyway. She guessed it all went back to the fact that Ravenclaw was, once again, way behind the other houses in points progression.

She stepped up to the slingshot and pulled back on it. By this point, she'd gotten pretty good at figuring out how much she needed to pull back on the slingshot in order to send the ball flying straight for the target. She loaded a ball onto the slingshot and pulled back just a bit more.

"Alright, let's go team!" she said, hoping her shot would hit the target and score another point for her team.

Annnnnd Kate was at it AGAIN!

Look at that ball fly, yo! To Adi, it was practically a blur as his eyes zoomed into that particular ball. He didn’t care right about now if any of their opponents flying round objects crashed into him. This was all too entertaining. The girls of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were just… AWESOME! They were causing loads of the hits but Adi didn’t mind one bit letting them do this even though his aim wasn’t that bad either. Hehe.

Anywhooooo, there went Kate’s ball… SMAAAAACK!

ANOTHER CUT OUT DOWN!

So this activity was a very tenuous link to the whole phone topic, but Toby didn't mind one bit, because it was still a LINK. And even if it wasn't, he loved having the opportunity to play games and stuff. When it happened in class it was even more special. He quickly packed away his things and headed over to the right side of the room with the other Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws.

Right... so...

Um.

Hm.

He watched the others first, to see how they did things and get a feel for what was going on. Was their a way to incorporate Quidditch skills here? Uh... probably not, right? Or maybe? Sure, he had good aim with a quaffle and the hoops but he'd never had experience with a slingshot. First time for everything?

Toby picked up one of the balls and stepped up when the slingshot was free, loading it all up and ready for whoever someone to shoot it over there at those cutouts.

Having just missed one of his target (bummer), Adi watched Tobias have a go at the slingshot. they were going to have another hit, he knew it! Tobias, after all, was an awesome Quidditch player.Soooo, and went to help Toby with the shot, re-positioning it a bit annnnd up, up and away went the ball!

SMACKAROOO!

Yet another of Slytherdor's cut outs went down.

YAY, TEAM! they were certainly working a whole lot better togwther than they had done in Charms that time. ''Awesome, Toby!'' How about a high five?

It felt really good smacking down the other team's cut out on the first try. The other team was having a nice little winning streak, but AJ was going to try her very best to knock them off their game. All she needed was her team to get it together. For this to work, they were going to have to work together. Hopefully this wouldn't be a repeat of Charms. Not good. Not good at all.

Without waiting another second, AJ grabbed a ball and loaded it in the slingshot. She made sure that everything was lined up just so. Some reinforcement would be nice. Anybody want to give her a hand? Probably she could do this all of her own, but she didn't want to be a ball hog. It was really hard though because she was so competitive.

Ouch, ouch ouch!

Merlin's beard! Ethan had to dodge some of the balls that came their way, and scrambled to where their slingshot was.

Well, good, AJ's there, so what needs to be done was to pull the slingshot back, and fire away!

"Help me with the next one, will you?" he said to no one in particular. Ethan busied himself as he Aimed, and released the ball.

Yeup! That was a solid HIT!

Ethan was a life saver. He came at just the right moment. She watched as her cranked the slingshot back.

Please be a hit. Please be a hit. BOOM. Another cut out bit the dust. "Great aim." AJ was proud. She wanted to keep the momentum going.

"I got your back." Moving to the side, she picked up another soft ball. "Got one." Back beside Ethan, she loaded the ball into the slingshot. "All set." She really wanted to launch this ball. Like, really, REALLY bad.

"A little help here." Please. Somebody, anybody. Ethan? She was trying hard to learn from her mistakes. Teamwork, AJ. She just had to be patient.

Alrightey!

Adi was going to have another go at loading so he quickly grabbed another ball. Team RavenPuff was doing excellent so far and hopefully they could keep it up. He loaded the ball onto the slingshot.

All they needed to do was to launch now. Who was going to help him do that? While he waited for a team member, he kept adjusting the sling shot. Noooooo... too much to the right; the other side, the other side...

Right! Ready to launch!

She should get into sports?

Adi was making Lux smile because she loved sports. And look at him loading the sling shot and making a direct hit. "YAAAY! Way to go!! Looks like you should get into sports too!" They could play together! That would be so much fun. Yep.

"Way to go team! We are doing amazing!!" Yaaaay, Ravenpuffs.

Lux wondered who was going to load the slingshot next; if no one else was going to she would!

HIS AIM HAD HIT!

Cue another fist pump at the air. Adi’s competitive mode was on again and it felt GOOD! It reminded him of his cricket tournaments when this feeling would always take over. He usually felt like this during Gobstones matches too. Hehe. “I’m already into cricket,’’ he told Lux, happily thanking the stars that he had discovered the sport which he really held a soft spot for.

Anywhooo… another ball in the slingshot for Team Ravenpuff? Check! All he needed to do was to aim now and hope he would score another hit.

Annnnnnd another hit for her team.

Lux jumped in the air and did a cheer. The Lions knew that she loved them, right?? Because she did. She also loved the Snakes. A bit of friendly competition is always fun so long as no one got hurt.

Oh, Adi played cricket. Lux wasn't sure if she had known that or not. She really didn't know much about the sport in all honesty. "What's cricket like?" she asked curiously while waiting for someone else to load.

It was only fair not to hog the sling shot which might happen if she let herself get carried away.

Merlin. Zander sure liked Muggle Studies' activities each time they did one... But this one was way harder than it looked. Except somehow Lux and Adi were dreamteam over there because Merlin, were they on a role or what!?!

Speaking of which, Zander quickly saw AJ loading the Slytherdor team slingshot (which, by the way, did they always have to do it with these particular teams? 'Cause Gryffindor and Ravenclaw would've been a fun group, y'know?) and ran over to go help her launch it.

He took over by stepping behind and letting the ball fling through the air straight towards the other team's side and gah. MERLIN. Why was this so hard!?!

Hehe.

Lux was like a cheerleader. She needed those frilly things those girls held on their hands though. Blue and Yellow ones. Yup. Because right now they were kicking butt! "It's the best thing EVER,'' he gushed as he grabbed another ball to load onto the slingshot. "You need to learn to play it.'' He grinned, wondering if his friend would like the game.

"Come on, Lux. Help me launch this.'' NO ONE could beat him and Lux together. Nuh uh. They were unstoppable. Adi waited for his friend to grab the slingshot before he pulled it back.

Oh. Cricket was that good? "Maybe you can teach me some time," she said with a smile as she watched him load another ball at the target.

AND ANOTHER HIT.

Wow, they were really kicking some major butt this lesson. Lux wanted to get some shots in for the Lions and Snakes as well, but obviously that couldn't happen. She was still cheering for both sides though!! AJ had almost got a hit, but missed it.

Oh well, at least she had the thought of tacos to keep her happy!

Whooohooo! The RavenPuffers were on a serious roll. Janelle decided that it was her turn to give it a try again. Just to get in the spirit, she hi-fived all of her teammates one by one. Then she gathered a ball and placed it in the slingshot.

"It's ready to launch", Janelle said to anyone who cared to take the next shot. Then she looked around to see who might want to score the next point. "We've got to keep them coming. That way, they won't know what hit 'em." They had to win the Angry Birds game. They just had to.

It looked like they were doing really well. Eden was quiiiiite pleased about this, too, because she wanted to WIIIIIN.

Competitive, much?

Eden saw Jangle load up a ball, and smirked at her words as she rushed up to launch it, pulling the stretchy part back an...ZOOOOOOOM. Her ball was off to hit the target---

AND IT KNOCKED IT DOWN.

YAAAAS.

Eden went to high-five Janelle. "COME ON TEAM. WE'RE ROCKING IT!"

OH YEAH!

He and Lux had scored again! No defeating this sixth year Hufflepuff duo! "You'll make a pro student, Lux!'' Because she had quite an aim, yo! Then there was Janelle and Eden following suit soon after! WOOT! As Eden said, they were rocking it!

Adi grabbed another ball then took aim as he pulled back the slingshot. Here's to making another Slytherdor cut out go bye-bye!

LET'S KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING!

Eden felt like team RAVENPUFFS were casually kicking some BOOOOTAY. She was a smiley and in the MODE an HECK YEAH! The Ravenclaw was fumbling around for a ball, but she spotted Adi load up a ball, and Eden RUSHED forth to launch it.

She pulled it back, and let it go, watching it SOAR an SMASH right into a phone. it was the only time Eden felt like she'd EVER cheer for the destruction of a phone...

"Come on, come on! Keep it up!" she cried as she bounced around excitedly. EEEEEE.

EDEEEEEEEN TO THE RESCUE!

This was MUCH more team work than what they had done in Charms and Adi was totally enjoying himself. He high- fived his Ravenclaw team member before rushing off to get another ball. All this fun and excitement was making him go dizzy in the head. Hehe. It was one of the most fun he had had in a long time that involved a ball.

Now, the Puff loaded up another ball. "Eden? Janelle? Lux?'' Who wanted to help a team member out here?

Awww, Adi was so sweet. "I'm sure you will be a great teacher," she said with a smile as she watched her teammates continue to kick butt with the sling shot. Keeping up her job as cheerleader, she jumped up and down while saying, "YAAAAAY!" Hehe.

Adi was loading another ball, and she was going to step in and help him if Eden and Janelle didn't mind.
