#2 - SLYTHERDOR loading Zhenya didn't really care that the first ball had missed. GAH - this was FUN! She watched as a few of them hit, and a few of the RavenPuff team's balls hit theirs, and it was so funny. She had a big ol' grin plastered onto her face, and it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Nope. Zhenya saw a gap in the loading and launching, so she took the chance to grab hold of one of their balls and load it into the slingshot. She pulled back until it was about the same level as all of the other ones that the SlytherDor team had launched from previously... hopefully the tension would be just right... ..... |
Launching for SLYTHERDOR - miss Angel was totally enjoying this lesson even if she was feeling ill, she watched an old girl get there thing ready and she decided that she would have a go trying to hit the target. "Aim!!" Angel smiled weakly. "fire!" Angel was totally feeling ill and she misted the target by a mile. |
#4 ..... Slytherdor RELOAD! He had taken a back seat to the whole launching activity because he had TRIED to concentrating his efforts on blocking the other teams' shots... go figure, he'd make for a dodgy keeper. Shame. Deciding his efforts would be better spent with the assisting of loading and reloading, Zeke returned to his gathered teammates to see how they were doing. They missed? Whoop.s "Reload!" he beamed, grabbing another dodge ball and doing so. He positioned it on the sling thing ready to go! |
Launching for SLYTHERDOR - hit (professor as well) Angel was still shocked about what had happened the last time she had launched, seriously what had happened to her, she had missed half this lesson and she knew she'd have too ask her boyfriend or someone else for help with her homework. "Professor!" Angel looked at both the professor present. "What happens, if the... what you call it snaps?" Angel had forgotten what you call it and she decided she might speak to Professor Tanner after the lesson to ask her for help in catching up, she was feeling a bit sleepy at the moment. Angel aimed at the target and launched. "Go!" Angel smiled weakly as she say that it was going right at the target and the next thing she knew it had hit, seriously how had she managed that, she was confused. |
#3 - SLYTHERDOR load post Zhenya cheered for Angel and Zeke who had hit the other team, after another ball missed. "WOOHOO! Go SLYTHERDORS!!!" Never mind, it happened. It was still fun, no matter how many balls hit the target or missed. But time for another one! Zhenya grabbed another ball and loaded it into the slingshot. She pulled back slightly more than the previous attempt; perhaps the tension hadn't been quite enough to launch it over to the RavenPuff side. This time perhaps. She used her eyes and her body position to line it up and walk back, creating more and more tension. |
#5 ... Launching Slytherdor and HIT Zeke beamed, they were getting the hang of things now it seemed, and they were making good time with the work too.... they were like a well oiled machine, working in perfect synchrony. Or something to that effect. As Zhenya reloaded, Zeke gave her a hand with pulling the ridge ball back, steadying the aim and then... "You're going DOWN, RavenPuffs!" he stated... cause he was totally cool beans, no? "GO!" Letting the ball go, he watched at it flew over to the other teams cutout contraption and.... .... HIT! Another phone bites the dust. |
#4 Slytherdor - LOADING There for a little bit the other team was doing great, and AJ's little competitive heart started to beat fast. Yes, it was just a game, but this was AJ. She wanted a win. The Slytherins and Gryffindors had to get together. She watched as Angel missed by a mile. What the? And yet her sister always wanted to say she could beat AJ at sports. Please. That was laughable. Okay. They were in a good flow. Things were going well. This chick was going to help keep the momentum up. She ran back up to where all the action was happening at. "Nice shot," she said to Zeke. No time to waste. None at all. WHERE WAS A BALL? Cool it, Valentine. There wasn't going to be a trophy for the winning team. No, but there were tacos, and that was better. Picking up the ball, she loaded it into the slingshot. Not wanting to take a chance on somebody not aiming it right, AJ lined it up just so. All she needed now was somebody to fling it. |
Ravenpuff - Loading Nice. Their team seemed to be looking pretty good so far, with knocking down the things. Toby ended up letting himself get all distracted (surprise suprise, right?) by watching the progress of the other team. The way they worked together, the shots fired, taking out the cutouts. He'd actually been watching for a long while before he remembered his own team. Oops. He seemed to wake from his reverie with a start, turning back to the Ravenpuff slingshot and blinking. Right, they needed to load up. He could help with that. Springing to action again at last, Toby grabbed another of those soft balls and loaded it into the slingshot. "Ready." Someone could do the thing now. |
4 Slytherdor LAUNCHING a MISS They were being murdered! Good thing his team had acknowledged this, as Ethan watched them fire a hit towards their opponent's target without mercy. Well and good! In his haste, Ethan didn't think his next move well because he ended up grabbing the slingshot from AJ, pulled it...aimed...FIRED...and missed! "Merlin's wicked teeth...a miss!" the Slytherin shook his head and rolled his eyes as he turned to his team. "Sorry about that." |
Post 1 Slytherdor Loader So Benny had been vaguely keeping up and paying attention to the joint lesson. Though when the main activity was explained, he had to fight the urge to groan. Why did they always have to have a wild competition? And why did Hufflepuff ALWAYS have to be on the opposite side of Gryffindor? Just once the sixth year would like to play alongside his bestie not against him. And here they were finally back together. Oh well. He moved to the left side of the classroom with the Slytherdor team and tried to follow along. It sure was moving fast. Finally jumping in during a moment, Benny moved to load the launcher on their side. Here's to hoping it would work when it was actually launched. |
5 Slytherdor LAUNCHING a HIT Ethan stepped aside as he allowed Benjamin to load their slingshot. No time to think about the shenanigan that happened between him and Adi because, well, they've got some catching up to do. Ravenpuff CAN'T win. Nope. As soon as the slingshot was loaded, Ethan waited for any of his mates to make a move. He was aware that he'd been launching so many shots already, and perhaps there was someone in their group who'd like to try it out? No? Okay. Time's running out, so he better make a move. "Need some help?" Ethan stood beside Benjamin, stooped down and pulled the loaded slingshot. Pulling still...aiming carefully...and FIRE! ... Sorry not sorry, Ravenpuffs! |
Liam, your miss should've been a hit, so I'm counting it! :P The Slytherdor team had gotten off to an early lead. But soon afterwards, Team Ravenpuff had gone on a rampage, hitting down several targets in a row. Not to be outdone, the Slytherdors were mounting a comeback of their own. In the furor of the battle, she called out the current score. "Team Ravenpuff 15, Team Slytherdor 8 so far!" They were really getting dialed in now. Perhaps she should make it a bit more interesting..? "Locomotor!" she said loudly, causing the targets to begin moving slowly on the platform. Quote:

SlytherDoor loading. Angel had a funny feeling that she was being stared at by her sister. She loaded up the thing up again whilst staring at her sister couldn't her own sister she was ill? in normal health she would have hit it by mile that was she was saying anyway. |
Miss- team Ravenpuff Adi noticed Toby going to load another ball onto a slingshot so he went over to help with the launch. They had this. Yep, they did. “Let’s get another hit!’’ he told his Housemate enthusiastically. And keep the momentum up! The sixth year helped his friend tug on the slingshot and release the ball which immediately soaaaaaared away, towards the cut outs on the other end. But the duo’s aim was off for the ball missed completely. Bummer. “That’s too bad.’’ Oh, well! They still had gotten loads of hits before. Oh Looky! the targets were slowing down! |
6 Slytherdor LAUNCHING a MISS They what?! They're seven points behind! Ethan moved away from the slingshot to take a good look at the scene. Yep, they're being murdered by the Ravenpuffs, and that shouldn't be the case! And what was up with the moving targets??! Uh hell nooooooooo. They've got to try though! Ethan approached AJ...or was it Angel? And picked up the loaded slingshot, aimed at one of the moving Ravenpuff targets...fired...and missed! |
Post 2 - Slytherdor loading A fellow sixth year Slytherin that had been firing, came up to help and issure he got it right. "Maybe..." Benny admitted since it was his first shot. Teamwork was the name of the game right? The Gryffindor watched as Ethan pulled the string, aimed for one of the targets he couldn't be sure of on the other side, and fired. Woot! Another for their team! Except as Professor Tanner spoke up with the scores is was clear they needed to pick up their game. Of course the woman had to make things harder when she made the targets they had to go for now move . Angel took aim yet when Ethan took aim this time it missed. "Shall we try again?" he mused to either of his companions as it seemed like as good a time as any to try for another shot. Of course anyone else was free to step up too. Benny stepped up and loaded their slingshot in preparation for another chance. That part was always the easiest. It was the launching that took in the variables they faced. Down to the Ravenpuffs! |
Ravenpuff - Loading MOVING targets, huh? Well, it was always good to have a CHALLENGE, right? (Right.) Tanner announcing the scores was super uplifting and made Toby smile, but he made sure not to look too happy in case the other team got sad about the score or something. Really honestly super super truly, it didn't matter to Toby what the score was, 'cause it was so fun. But it WAS nice to hear, y'know? He looked back at the slingshot again to see where they were at with their next shot. Alright. Another ball, coming up. Toby grabbed one and loaded up the slingshot again, ready for another kid to step up and have a go at firing. |
Launching & Hit- Team RavenPuff WHEEEEEEEEE! Toby was at it again! Adi bounded over to his friend to help him again. "Let's do this, Toby!'' Hehe. Still a very much enthusiastic Puffer here. The younger Puffer grabbed the slingshot and puuuuulled after Toby had selected the target. Let 'em riiiiiiiiip! Good bye, Slytherdor target! not even moving ones kept team Ravenpuff down! |
RavenPuff--Loading! Kate had no idea what the true score of this match was, but RavenPuff had to be winning! They just had to be! Of course, she hadn't exactly looked over at the other team and observed what they were doing. There was just too much excitement going on! Kate cheered as another member of their team launched the ball and hit the target. Kate stepped up up to the slingshot to have another go at it. With a ball gripped tightly in one hand, and the slingshot in her other hand, Kate pulled back on the slingshot with all her might. She couldn't believe how good she'd gotten at this! When she'd pulled it back as far as she could and properly aimed it at the target, she placed the ball into the slingshot. Incoming ball! |
Ravenpuff - Launching and hit Oh yes, this was definitely super fun, Toby had decided. He wondered what it would take to persuade Moxley to let them do this EVERY lesson. Or something like this. Maybe, ooh... MAYBE, what if they had HUMAN SIZED SLINGSHOTS and could fling THEMSELVES at targets? More like the actual angry birds game except instead of angry birds they were more like happy humans. No? Maybe? Well... it was a working progress. That second year 'claw - Kate was her name, Toby thought - was really getting into this, wasn't she. Toby stepped back from the slingshot after his and Adi's double-team to get their target, and watched as she took her shot at the moving targets. His eyes followed the ball nyooming through the air and... HIT. "Nice job!" the Hufflepuff exclaimed, giving the claw baby an enthusiastic grin. |
SlythinDoor Miss Angel fired Benny loaded thing and it missed by a mile, she was not impressed with her firing skill. "What is wrong with my aim." she whispered to herself as she up another one hoping someone would have better luck. |
#5 Slytherdor loading Noooooo. The score was bad. So bad. They could come back from this though. Everybody needed to have their head in the game, and it didn't look like they did. AJ took a deep breath in and tried to remember that she was actually having fun, and that should be what it was all about in the end. Fun. Heh. AJ watched as her sister had another go, and missed again. Something was off with her, she could tell. Something more than just her aim that was. "Bad day maybe?" Either way, AJ was going to help. "Here." She loaded the ball on to the slingshot and tried to line it up just right. Only it really didn't matter because now the targets were moving. AJ happened to think this was awesome, but if her team couldn't hit targets that didn't move... well, this was only going to be even harder for them now. |
Loading for Ravenpuffs!! Whoa, things were getting intense. Lux liked that. Both teams were making hits and misses, and Professor Tanner had upped the game by making the targets move slowly. The Ravenpuffs still had this in the bag!! If they kept it up, they would win. "Great job everyone!" Taking a ball, Lux loaded it on the sling shot. PLEASE BE ANOTHER HIT. |
Ravenpuff - Launching and hit Toby so far hadn't had a go at launching a ball at these moving targets, but he wanted to have the opportunity before class ended. As long as, like, nobody else minded, y'know? So when Lux stepped up and loaded the ball, Toby quickly joined her at the slingshot and flashed her a smile. "I... hope you don't mind if I...?" Take a shot? Yeah? ... Okay. He pulled back the slingshot, squeezed one eye shut to get a good view of the targets, waited 'til it was in prime position and... let it go. HIT. As Toby watched the cardboard cutout go down, he noted to himself just how fun a game this was. |
Loading for Ravenpuffs!! As Toby came up and asked if she minded him launching the ball, Lux smiled and stepped aside. He was more than welcome in her eyes. Eagerly she waited for the result and...ANOTHER HIT!! "Way to go , Toby!" Jumping up and down she cheered for her Housemate. They were doing awesome. This game was so much fun and she wished that more activities were like this. Taking another ball, she loaded it on the sling shot so that one of her teammates could send it flying towards a target. |
