OOC: For the sake of timeline ease, let's say this lesson is occurring BEFORE all the acromantulas attacking the castle.
Spring had finally arrived in Scotland, and with it came warmer weather. Though it was currently raining outside, it was a warm rain, and if you looked carefully you could probably spot some denizens of Hogwarts out for a stroll in the light shower. Other than the extra lights Professor Tanner employed to combat the gloomy weather, there isn't much different about the room that would give a hint as to the day's activities. The abundance of cobwebs seen around the castle, however, is not as bad in this room, as Tiara arrived early to clean up as much as possible.
Professor Tanner, dressed in summery mustard-yellow robes, stands at the front of the room ready to greet her eager Arithmancers as they enter.
Angel rolled again and then she totally had to laugh, see another small number and that made sure she got up to 19.
"Professor, If I continued this game... I'd expect to be at the end sometime the middle of next week." Angel was going slowly, but she wasn't doing well whatever happened to the hare and the tortuous? Hadn't the tortuous won that race?
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi cast a glance at Maggie. Aww, she looked sad because she was so far back. Well, technically she wasn't that far back but he knew she wanted to be further along. He was distracted by AJ, however. She was super close to him... square wise. He grinned. "You just can't stop following me, can you?'' Still grinning, he shook the die for a roll.
TWO!
"Bye, baby.'' One step, two steps! Meh. They weren't much but he moved up a teeny bit. Two steps was better than one or zero... thought they couldn't get zero with the die rolls.
Anyway, come on, peoples! Let's see how many more rolls we can squeeze in!

Poor Angel was having a rough go of it. She seemed to always be getting low numbers. "You know what they say, Miss Valentine. Slow and steady wins the race." Although, perhaps in this case she needed to go do some nice things to change her karma.
BBbbbRRRIIiiiinnngg!
She could almost hear the sighs and moans now. "That's the bell!" Cue Professor Obvious. "Since lunch is next I will let you stay for another few minutes; maybe we'll get someone to actually finish." Apparently the game board was a touch too big - or it had too few yellow squares. "Class is officially dismissed otherwise."
OOC: Class is over now. I will close the thread tonight, but that technically still gives you a few hours for more posts..

Ahhhh! The bell! Too bad a Silencing Charm couldn't be cast on it. But never the less, Tanner was letting them stay a while longer. Wasn't she just awesome! Wheeee! Adi was almost to the end and he was feeling even more competitive now. Maybe he could actually get to the end.
He watched the others have their turn and when it was his again, he rolled the die enthusiastically. Woot! A four! Adi hopped four steps forward then bent to snag his die off of the board. Sooooo close now.

Alright, it looked like the students were more eager to eat than to finish the game. She understood. Her stomach had just given a very looooong, very loud rumble. "Well, everyone else out then, I suppose!" Though anyone left was already grabbing their things. She had not had the good sense to look and see who made it furthest, either. Oh well.
