| | Ancient Runes Lesson II: Runic Charms The classroom was normally organized. Rows of desks for students with their nametags perched on them filled the classroom. A giant bookshelf was on the left side of the room with the few educational items thrown here and there that they rarely used. The blackboard was empty except for the title 'Runic Charms' written on top. Professor Botros was standing by the door to greet the students as usual, with the room heated to a higher degree than the rest of the castle. Someone had weak knees and faulty joints in the cold, let's not name names though.
Go in, take a seat and be prepared for a new funducational Runes lesson. ooc: - Class will start in the GMT afternoon today.
- Please familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines for this class before posting. [] Class Progress:

Janelle kept writing notes, hoping that she hadn't missed any important information. She checked them over and thought that everything was in order. Now it was time to get to work. Janelle went up to the box and got her piece of wood before returning to her seat. She had performed the spell before, but it never hurt to practice a bit. "IN-ta-LEE-oh, IN-ta-LEE-oh, Intaglio." Once that was done, Janelle was ready to move on to the visualization portion of the task. She had to picture the rune that she wanted to carve into the wood. It always seemed that concentration and visualization were two of the most important steps in casting a spell. Mess that part up and you were pretty much doomed. Janelle had been working very hard at trying to concentrate and focus on what she needed to do. Visualizing wasn't too hard for her, but keeping her focus while doing it was another story.
Since Sowilo was up first, Janelle stared at the picture of it for a while. Then she closed her eyes and tried to picture the rune. Once she could see it in her mind, she was ready to begin. Pointing her wand at the piece of wood, Janelle began to say, "Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo". She repeated the words over and over as the rune began to carve into her wood. Never losing her focus, she continued to say the incantation until the carving was complete. Janelle was relieved when she saw the golden glow. Whew. One down, two to go.

| Post 2 curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog Now to do the Jera rune...and that one was kind of tricky, since it kind of overlapped the other one. Caleb had to remember that as he began to chant...
Closing his eyes and picturing the rune covering the lower part of the rune he'd already gotten carved, he started to chant. "Intaglio Jera...Intaglio Jera..." he muttered. Jera began to glow, carving itself right over Sowilo as he had pictured it. It looked just like the drawings that Botros had shown them. Alright, that was done - progress! Onto the last one...
Which was Uruz. Not too bad. Picturing the finished rune in his head so he could place Uruz in the correct place, he began to chant again. Come on, focus Caleb, do this and you're all done... "Intaglio Uruz...Intaglio Uruz..." he muttered again and again as the wood began to glow golden, and when the glowing finally subsided, Caleb had a finished rune in front of him.
Why couldn't the practical of his OWL been on THAT?! He'd have aced it!

Mmkay, well, that left one rune to go before the entire thing was complete. Uruz, which would be added to the top of the formation Kate already had. She was still amazed at how this whole thing fit together like a unique puzzle. It was one of the first things Ancient Runes related that she'd ever been interested in.
After getting a good mental picture of Uruz and focusing really hard on it, Kate pointed her wand toward the upper portion of her carving. "Intaglio Uruz," she said, and she began carving the pointy n-shaped rune. "Intaglio Uruz!" she said again, making sure to keep her intent. Things were coming along nicely, and although Kate still didn't think her carving looked perfect, she was still proud of her accomplishment. "Intaglio Uruz!" she said again, finishing the last piece of the third rune. She stepped back and looked at the three together. The glow was strong now, so she was pretty sure she'd done it the right way.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Norah Kittredge Seventh Year | Post 2 Lil' gooz | Sarangel | Junior Dweeb Sigh. SIGH. Norah eyed the piece of wood with her wand in hand. Why couldn't they paint the symbols on them instead? Not that she was any good at painting, but she was probably loads better at that than using her wand for these things. Man, the sacrifices she made for her head of house. Good thing Botros was a nice dude or she wouldn't even be trying to figure out these runes because it seemed pretty obvious that they were never destined to make very much sense. Here she was, halfway through her whole entire Hogwarts career and they STILL didn't make sense. She was doomed. Clearly.
She focused back on the shapes on the board as she practiced the incantation under her breath. "Intaglio....Intaglio....intaaaaaglioooo" Good? Good. It wasn't even that they'd never used this spell before, but every time it took some tries so really it made sense to practice. If you thought about it, anyways, which apparently she was doing. The fourth year pointed her wand at the blank wood and shut her eyes tight, picturing the Lightning-ish lines of the first rune that was on the board. "Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo." She opened one Hazel eye to take a peek, but shut it again quickly when she saw there wasn't any glowing happening. There WAS a shape though, which was kinda cool once you got over the fact that she wasn't entirely sure what the shape meant. "Intaglio Sowilo. Intaglio Sowilo!" She took another peek and brought her wand down at the sight of the glowing rune. Alriiiight! Except now there was two whole other ones, too. It just never ended, did it?
Norah squinted at the second rune for a few moments before leaning back over the wood. Okay. This one was squarish. Jera. Cool beans. She shut her eyes again and pictured the squarish one with the Lightning-ish one and began to chant, "Intaglio jera , Intaglio jera , Intaglio jera" She opened her eyes and watched the shape get carved in as she continued the chant for another hundred thousand years. Or nearly that long. "Intaglio jera!" Two down, one to go! She gave the glowing image a satisfied nod and raised her wand again. Time for the slanty table one, which was even more slanty when it was all attached and stuff. With her eyes open this time, the Hufflepuff concentrated on the shape on the smooth wood as she spoke again. "Intaglio uruz, intaglio uruz" The rune was carved even more efficiently than before, which wasn't really saying much because a snail coulda moved in that shape faster than this was going. "Intaglio uruz, she repeated, frowning in concentration at the image, willing it to glow. AAAAAND it did. Well, after she'd repeated herself a couple more times, but still.

| Post #2 be curious, not judgmental Benzi's question had been a good one, and Sophie was glad he had asked it. She wrote down Botros' reply before picking her wand up and squinting hard at her block of wood. Concentrating. Envisioning a crisp, clear carving of Sowilo on its surface.
"Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo..." she cast, over and over again, taking her time to get the pronunciations of both words just right - and when the rune's shape began to carve into the wood, a smile graced her features. "Intaglio Sowilo," finished off the rune carving, and the first shape was complete with a golden glow.
Allllmost there.
Even though they were allowed to take liberties in connecting the runes and their shapes, Sophie was going to do what was on the board because... well, it was easiest to envision, frankly. So she started with the addition of Jera to the bottom of Sowilo. "Intaglio Jera... Intaglio Jera... Intaglio Jera..." she murmured, drawing her wand over the wooden block, envisioning the carving connection of Jera to the bottom of Sowilo... and before long, it was finished.
She glanced up at the blackboard once more to check the way Uruz connected at the top - it was sort of sideways and slanted, so Sophie turned her block slightly to get it from the right angle as she cast, "Intaglio Uruz... Intaglio Uruz... Intaglio Uruz..." until the blocky, lowercase "n" shape was now connected to Sowilo on her wooden block, a healthy golden glow emitting from it.
Perfect.

Zhenya was already lost, but she was determined to try and stick with it, holding onto a slither of understanding which would hopefully bring her through the class. She watched as Professor Botros explained how the runes connected to share one line for runic charms. She listened to the explanations he gave, writing some dot points down for future reference. Yep, she would be coming back to this many times before her exams, she was sure of it.
First step was to get a piece of wood. Zhenya quickly got up from her desk, putting her quill down, and got herself a piece of wood from the box in the corner, and brought it back to her desk.
Onto her parchment, she wrote the incantation and information about the spell, just for ease of reference. Quote:

She didn't see a need to practice the wand movement as she would just be pointing, and she could do pointing. So, picking up her wand, she pictured the Sowilo rune in her mind and got started.

Henric stood up and dragged himself to the front so he could get started with his rune piece. He glanced over to where his friends were seated but looked away quickly when llia's concerned gaze fell onto him. He had yet to tell her about their missing toad, he wondered if Adi had already told her about it. He guessed not. Henric gulped and briskly walked back to his desk, avoiding eye contact with anyone he knew. Once seated, he practiced muttering the spell while copying the runic patterns onto his notes. He thought maybe he would get the feel of how it would look like in his wood piece if he did so.
He then got started with the first rune's shape, confident he could do it without any mishaps this time. He pointed his wand on his piece of wood and chanted the spell several times,"Intaglio Sowilo,Intaglio Sowilo,". Henric watched carefully as the carving began to glow brightly.

It was time to try the spell on the wood this time. Taking aim, and clearly picturing the sowilo rune in her mind, Zhenya spoke clearly; "IN-ta-LEE-oh Sowilo," her wand pointing at the wood. "IN-ta-LEE-oh Sowilo," she repeated, her wand still pointing. She was still thinking about Sowilo; the rune which reminded her of a bolt of lightning. She was beginning to see the shape of the rune appear on the wood. "IN-ta-LEE-oh Sowilo, IN-ta-LEE-oh Sowilo, IN-ta-LEE-oh Sowilo," she said a few more times, still pointing, still vividly imagining the rune, until the rune began to adopt a golden hue which indicated the rune had successfully been ingrained into the wood with magical energy.

Henric didn't waste time on proceeding to the next rune shape after successfully did his first one. "Intaglio Jera,"he muttered, making sure the shape was forming up nicely and accurately as possible. Satisfied with the outcome, he went on to carve the next ruin shape and that was the sign called 'Uruz'. He had no idea each of the letters represent other than his knowledge about their magical healing properties which the professor had mentioned. Anyway, he was determined to finish them."Intaglio Uruz...Intaglio Uruz..." he chanted over again and again. "There...all finished..."he mumbled quietly and inspected his finished wood piece.

With the Sowilo rune nicely glowing on the wood, it was time to put the other two runes on. She looked up at the blackboard where the rune layout was to see what rune needed to be placed next, and where. Right, it was Jera, the incomplete box looking one, which went on the bottom of the Sowilo lightning bolt looking rune, connected at the first stroke of the rune. With that picture in her mind, Zhenya pointed her wand at the bottom of Sowilo, "IN-ta-LEE-oh Jera, IN-ta-LEE-oh Jera, IN-ta-LEE-oh Jera," which she repeated until Jera had been carved onto the wood, with a golden glow to it.
Second down, one to go, which left Uruz; the 'n' looking rune, which was at an angle on the top of Sowilo, connected. With that in her mind, Zhenya pointed her wand up at the top of Sowilo, "IN-ta-LEE-oh Uruz, IN-ta-LEE-oh Uruz, IN-ta-LEE-oh Uruz," she said a few times, until again she saw the golden hue glowing, which told her it had magical energy in it.

Angel had to practice the wand movement and the incantation, she knew it but she decided just to make sure. "Intaglio!!" Angel practiced this was totally amazing. "Intaglio!" Angel was glad that she remembered what she was going to do and now she could do it.
Angel now had to put this into practice. "Intaglio Sowilo!! Angel pointed her wand at the runes and repeated the chant over and over until the wood started to glow, she was totally enjoying this lesson.
"Intaglio Sowilo! Intaglio Sowilo! Intaglio Sowilo!" Angel continued then she looked around she had another one to do but she couldn't remember what it was at the minute.

| Post 2 Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna It was confirmed....they were to be carving the three runes currently on the blackboard...onto their wooden board. Starting with Sowilo. So at least Benny had some visual aid for invisioning what they all were supposed to look like without looking up in the textbook. And they didn't need to actually chose runes to work with. Yet. So the sixth year stared at the center rune for a bit, getting a mental feel for the image as he prepped himself for the work they were supposed to do.
When he felt trult ready he began. "Intaglio Sowilo...sowilo...sowilo," he cast, repeating the words as instructed, "Intaglio Sowilo...sowilo...sowilo," until he had a glowing carved rune that looked decently like what he was going for. There...one down, two more to go for him to be complete, for this round anyway. Benny moved on soon enough, repeating the carving and the chanting until he had Jera and Uruz carved right along with its companion rune. Comparing his carving with the one demonstrated on the noteboard, the sixth year hoped the exactness didn't matter too much.

Angel looked at the wood and saw that the first was carved into the wood, she now had a couple more to do. ""Intaglio Jera! Intaglio Jera! Intaglio Jera!" Angel chanted trying to keep it , she smiled when suddenly the wood had the second rune on it.
Angel then had one last one to do, she looked at her notes and smiled she could do this one. "Intaglio Uruz!! Intaglio Uruz!! Intaglio Uruz!! Intaglio Uruz!! Angel chanted like crazy wand pointing and the wood, she smiled when that rune came onto the wood did she need to do anymore.

It was time to move on to the next rune and Janelle tried to recharge her focus. She had gotten the first one right, but she had to keep it up. Checking her notes for the symbol of Jera, Janelle tried to imprint the image into her brain. Finally, she looked away.. As she had hoped, the image was still there. She could see Jera before her so she began to say the incantation. "Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera Intaglio Jera.". Apparently this one was going to require a little bit more work. "Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera.". That did the trick and the rune began to etch itself into the block of wood. Janelle repeated the incantation over and over and at last it was done. More golden glowing and it was on to the last rune.
One more time, Janelle began to concentrate. This time it was on Uruz. This time she looked at the picture and.......got it. Was it her imagination or did this one seem easier? She would find out shortly. Intaglio Uruz, Intaglio Uruz, Intaglio Uruz.". She must have had her mojo working on this one because it began to carve much quicker. She repeated the words and then it was finished and glowing beautifully. Done.....for now.

The bit about wood and living substances...made sense. He'd just been referencing Norse myths; where stone, rock, and other materials had been used. All naturally occurring, of course; even if he hadn't asked that specifically. Botros' reasoning was solid, though...and after quickly updating his notes, it was time to carve.
Intaglio.
This had been a mess the last time.
After moving towards the box holding all the wood pieces, Gabe collected one and quickly went back to his seat. Centering it on the desk, he inspected the grain, wondering about the specific type, before clearing his throat and focusing his mind. This had been a rocky ride in previous 'carving' lessons.
Botros had started with the Sowilo rune in the center, and he thought he understood why. Sowilo was representative of 'the sun'...and all things in their solar system revolved around the sun. As far as design went, it was easier to build off of something, in order to 'build up' the charm. That way all the runic energy stayed connected...Or maybe he was just looking for logic where none existed. Too much science. "Intaglio Sowilo.....Intaglio Sowilo...." Gabe was fully focused, wand raised...concentration face scrunched up. He wasn't being as vocal with the incantation, but that made sense for him. Gabe wasn't a very loud or vocal person. "Intaglio Sowilo........Intaglio Sowilo...." Watching the smaller rune complete itself, the Ravenclaw leaned in to inspect his handiwork. It wasn't perfect. The lines were a little wobbly, but it would do. Hopefully.
Jera, next...

No testing? Awww, that was... actually, Toby thought that was good. Not testing them in class meant there was nothing TO test them on, which meant nothing needed healing, which meant everyone was healthy, which was always one step away from being happy. He could work with that.
He did wonder, though, how it would work for homework. At first Toby was hesitant, because what if it meant looking for people or animals that were hurt. But then he realised - duh - they would be helping. Healing and helping, right? This Hufflepuff was all for it.
Getting more notes down, Toby did his best to listen up and pay attention to Botros. It was weird; even though this class involved a lot of reading and writing and sitting and listening, it was one of those where Toby found it a lot easier to concentrate and understand what was going on. It probably helped that Botros was sort of awesome.
When they it was time to get started, Toby hurriedly finished off the last of his notes, underlining some of the key points, then got up and went to get himself one of those rectangular pieces of wood. He sat down at his desk again, and set it down, automatically twirling his wand between his fingers a few times before getting started. Sowilo in the middle, because it couldn't be inverted, yep. And he was gonna carve it first, of course. "Intaglio Sowilo..." Toby began, picturing the 'S-shaped' rune in his head (not difficult; it was right there on the board), and carving it carefully onto the wood. "Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo..."
As soon as the last line of the rune was completely, it began to glow with soft gold light. It always made Toby smile to see. Sowilo was one of his favourite runes.
If... if he had favourites, of course. Which he didn't. Ahem.

Jera was such an interestingly shaped rune. It wasn't connected, not really...in the way that letters and numbers were, but somehow it still held it's power. Perhaps it was the lifeforce of the wood that binded all the energies together. Though, Gabe still thought his other theory was a sound one. Starting in the center and working outwards...
Positioning his wand again (and his glasses), he took a breath and began mumbling the spell for a third time. Replacing rune names, of course. "Intaglio Jera." It didn't flow as well as the other had...A bit more choppy, not rolling off the tongue..."Intaglio Jera......Intaglio Jeeeraaaa." He'd read somewhere that vocally drawing the names out worked better in some instances, causing the power of the runes to be stronger. Of course, that could've also been a lie. It had come from a very old book...and sometimes old books like that had the facts wrong. "Intaglio Jeeeeraaaa." He leaned in after several moments, squinting at the wooden piece. "Intaglio Jera." It was forming much slower than Sowilo had, that much was obvious....Gabe was getting frustrated. "Intaglio Jeeeeeraaaaa...Intaglio Jeeraaa...Intaglio Jeraaaaa."
The last of the trio was also probably the most simple in it's formation; of this grouping, to clarify. Uruz. Strength. It almost felt like it should be a cornerstone in all charms. To strengthen the runic magic, perhaps? Gabe thought 'maybe'. "Intaglio Uruuuuuz...." Oh, that actually sounded sorta neat. "Intaglio Uuuuruz.....Intaglio Uuuuruz......Intaglio Uuuuruuuuz."
There was a pause and some more squinting. And more adjusting of the glasses.
It looked okay to him...

He decided to carve Uruz next, for no particular reason. Just it was the first rune Toby's eyes were drawn to when he glanced at his notes again, which took out to hassle of having to decide for himself and worrying about which rune would feel left out if he showed some sort of preference. This was fairer. Yeah. "Intalglio Uruz, Intaglio Uruz, Intaglio Uruz," Toby said, almost like the spell was a chant, and watching as the lines formed. Yeah. He was in the zoooooooone. Once again, having a good lesson... something he could do, something he was good at... was enough to raise Toby's spirits a little bit. He'd almost forgotten that he'd tOTALLY BETRAYED PROFESSOR BOTROS.
Almost. "Intaglio Uruz, Intaglio Uruz, Inta-... wait, no..." No. Nope. That was it. That rune was finished too. Hey, nice. Toby inspected his work so far and nodded to himself, before brushing his hand on the surface of the wood to clear it a little, the glowing runes lighting up his fingers a little bit in the process. He cleared his throat, then started on the last rune, one he'd always found a little tricky to carve or right out, on account of how it was in two parts, and it was important to line them both up properly. "Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera..."
It was slow work, and Toby was starting to fidget even more by the end of it, and yet at the same time it was soothing. To his brain, at least. "Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera... Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera..."
At last, Toby leaned back in his seat and tilted up the small board to inspect his work. He though it looked pretty good, and that elicited a smile from the boy. Pleased, he brushed the sawdust away again before blowing at the runes in short bursts to clear the remainder. All done. Three runes combined together to make one, and it matched the example on the board. Toby was happy with it.

| Post 2 Admiratrice des Maraudeurs | C-Rizzle | THE Best Snuggler Marigold was listening very intently to what other students were doing. It wasn't cheating, it was just making sure she didn't explode anything. Yes, exactly. Good job, Marigold. Good plan. "Intaglio Sowilo," she started, tracing the shape with her wand and in her mind's eye. "Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo, Intaglio Sowilo." The first rune glowed hopefully. Marigold was sweating and hyperventilating. This was SO HARD.
Connecting Jera required her full attention. "Intaglio Jera…Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera, Intaglio Jera," she said, in between deep, calming breaths. Only one more. "Intaglio Uruz…Intaglio Uruz…" Uruz was kinda like an 'n,' yeah? "Intaglio Uruz…" |

| Post #2 urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse The chanting continued until he had reached a point where he was pretty confident with the way he was pronouncing the incantation. which, considering the fact that he was dead confident, didn't take too long.
Once he was ready, Grayson drew himself up to his fullest height, shoulders back and all. "Intaglio Sowilo...... Intaglio Sowilo......" he chanted, picturing that familiar runic shape. Kinda helped that Botros had drawn it up and all. If they had to do it themselves, dude wouldn't have been able to cope because that was on a whole new level of complicated. "Intaglio Sowilo...... Intaglio Sowilo......... Intaglio Sowilo......." Concentration was key and boy did this require a lot of that. Time ticked by but before long, the rune was drawn and glowing a golden colour, a sight that made the Slytherin smile slightly. That was his cue to stop and move on!
One down, two to go. "Intaglio Uruz...... Intaglio Uruz...... Intaglio Uruz...... Intaglio Uruz......." The chanting was back and, to be honest, it sounded kinda weird to be saying the same thing over and over again. Intaglio was starting to sound less and less like a word. Jeez! How many times did he have to do this?
Bit more than Sowilo, apparently. Or that's what it felt like. But the relief was instantaneous when the rune started glowing the same golden colour as Sowilo had. GOOD. That was more like it. "Intaglio Jera..... Intaglio Jera........ Intaglio Jera....... Intaglio Jera....... Intaglio Jera......." More chanting and tracing of the shape of the rune, this time of Jera. After all, he wasn't freaking stupid. But this chunk of wood seemed to be because it was taking its sweet ol' time to carve the rune in place. He was getting really tired of hearing his own voice, you know. And that was saying something.
Golden glow! Which meant one thing: he was freaking DONE!

| Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War | Botros was sitting at his desk carving his own runic charm with his wand. It didn't take as much focus as his students, he only had to wave his wand three times for the bindrunes to be carved on the piece of wood glowing hard. Once the class seemed to quiet down from chanting the spell, he put down his wand and stood up to move on to the next part. "Okay. Great job everyone, looks like you handled this well." Better than he thought. He didn't smell any burning.
"Our next step is to activate those runes." He walked around his desk to his blackboard. "We carved them bound together, magically so they'd have magic of their own. Now we need to invoke this energy. To turn it on, if you will. And we need to do it with the right intention." Pretty much like the regular spells. "And to do that, we need to chant the correct galdr." Botros turned towards the blackboard and started writing. Quote:

Ab turned back to face the children then started chanting, "sowilo sowilo sowilo, jera jera jera, uruz uruz uruz, su sa si se so, ju ja ji je jo, u u u u u u r r r r r r," he finished rolling his tongue with a big smile. "It's just like singing in a foreign language. Repeat after me to get used to it. Sowilo sowilo sowilo, jera jera jera, uruz uruz uruz, su sa si se so, ju ja ji je jo, u u u u u u r r r r r r," he stopped with a single clap of his hands. "Now, if you don't have any questions, please start chanting the incantation with your wand pointed at the bindrunes that you carved." Meanwhile, he was going to sort out some things here on the side of the classroom. ooc: - you need 2 posts for this portion of class.
- if your character needs the professor, please write 'professor' in your post title.
- class will resume when I can and the meds aren't so drowsy. *has the flu* :( |

| Post 2 of part 1 Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee Dot scooted her piece of wood around to better figure out how to place the next two runes around her Sowilo center. It was a bummer they had to do it just exactly the same way, although Dot was sure there was a reason for it. She'd just have to remember to ask the Professor man more questions later.
Now then... two runes to go. "Intaglio Jera. Intaglio Jera. Intaglio Jera." The rune neatly protruded from the first, and this one was much tidier - all the lines were straight and even. She was getting better at this spell! "Intaglio Uruz. Intaglio Uruz."
Ready to move on... finally.

| Part 2 Post 1 Admiratrice des Maraudeurs | C-Rizzle | THE Best Snuggler Marigold took notes studiously, copying down the incantation. Should she practice it first? She knew how to pronounce everything… "Sowilo, Jera, Uruz," yeah she knew how to pronounce everything. She wrote down sowilo sowilo sowilo, jera jera jera, uruz uruz uruz, su sa si se so, ju ja ji je jo, u u u u u u r r r r r r, then practiced rolling her 'r's.
Yeah. She was ready. |

| Part 2, post 1 Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee Oh, the singing part. This was definitely the worst part of Ancient Runes, since Dot did not have a musical inclination. Or maybe she did, but it embarrassed her horribly to sing in front of other people, so she hadn't bothered to really find out.
At least the professor had kindly explained what each of the runes was contributing to the relationship. Healing, growth, and strength, because this was a healing rune. Healing and strength made sense, so was the growth as the strong center... was that growth of the other two runes? That made sense... runes acting on other runes.
Now then... repeat after the professor, right? "Sowilo sowilo sowilo, jera jera jera, uruz uruz uruz, su sa si se so, ju ja ji je jo, u u u u u u r r r r r r." Merlin, this was a nightmare.
