There were so much going on, he couldn't keep track who was who for a moment. Oh lookeh...Benny was made bride next."Poor lad...I know how you feel mate,"he thought, sympathising the friend. He hadn't said much in the play but Henric thought he looked rather cool being like that. The quiet,demure,no nonsense bride act...yup...brilliant!

Oooh...was it time for the fighting scene?! This was the part he was waiting for! More action and gore! Alright..no gore scenes but still he hoped to see head banging, foot stucking, angry looking, jab punching mob running loose. Of course, it was all for show...no injuries and such..bla bla bla. Thor needed his hammer back now!

Okay okay okay.... as much as he thought Thor was the COOLEST character in this whole thing... he was glad he didn't have to play the part any more... because watching Ben in the dress was just PRICELESS.

The third year Gryffindor rocked back and forth as he sat cross-legged, observing. A hand held to his mouth in an effort to stifle his laughter. Because he really couldn't help it. It was aaaaaallllll too funny, seriously. TOO FUNNY.

There were lots more people in this scene he noticed, and it just added to the comedy that was the dolled up Thor show. Thyrne's sister was hilarious too, so hungry, so so hungry.... as were the giants apparently, hehe... and as was he.

Fooooooooooood.

It took Cutty a minute to realize what he was looking at, but when he did he was quite amused. The first three in the group were Abbott, Hwang (whom Cutty had never met) and his own dear cousin. His own dear attention seeking cousin who it seemed to Cutty was always up for a clever distraction. Being one. An endearing quality. This time it came in the form of comical snoring, which seemed to get a strong response from the class. It interested him.

Abbott's cry scene was also comical and he found her rather feminine the way she carried out her role. The thing with the finger pointing, though. H'mm. Was Ethan Mordaunt a bully? Or just in need of constant attention? Perhaps a bit of both. Either way he was proud of him.

He hadn't known Hwang from before this performance, but his Loki was fairly convincing. And he played off of Ethan's loudness well. Like two actual brothers might.

Angel was totally enjoying the play that was until Benny was made to dress like a bride, though she had to admit even with him dressed like that he still looked handsome and she really hoped that he would do well... she was just a bit upset that he would get shy and nervous on stage since he seemed to be the shy type.

Angel watched as Benny started and she smiled, okay maybe she should have been paying attention to everyone but this was awesome and she was loving the fact that everything was going great for her boyfriend... she was just concentrating on him this scene. She heard what a few of the others were saying but she wasn't really watching them she was still too busy staring at Benny in a dress... she seriously wished that she could take a picture.

Cutty watched with interest as the little Rusty Fields changed the scenery with the simple incantation. He took a moment to silently appreciate magic. Fields had gotten assigned the role of the falcon and she played her part well. She thought to engage the audience even by dipping into the seating area with her soaring. Clever. And when her role came to an end she seemed to be imitating a discarded article of clothing which the cloak would have been. Smart kid.

Burton was enjoyable as Loki. He wondered if she'd had acting lessons or if it was just by nature of being Slytherin that she was able to conjure a sense of drama. He could do it too. Her faces like the evil smirk she gave Efty!Thrym and her body language when she removed the cloak suggested menace as if she'd had experience. He willed himself to stop thinking of her seemingly natural gravitas...

And think about ...Tobias Fuller-Thompson. Giant Little Tobias. He was a small dude. Mostly. So Cutty immediately saw the logic in playing the role in a much larger way with a louder voice and posture. Or Efty tried to at least. Palm out, hand floating upward, palms to cover mouth.

It was weird seeing Toby smirk.

As if someone had polyjuiced as the boy.

Someone probably should. Just to see what manner of murder could be gotten away with.

Oh my gosh! This was getting to good now. With each group that went onto the stage and preformed Hady had to hold back her laughter. They were all so hilarious! Really everyone was doing a great job.

Chewing on her bottom lip to keep from laughing she watched as 'Thor' was dressed up in a dress for the wedding. This lesson was just getting better and better. When the scene was over she clapped along with everyone else before dropping her hands down onto her lap once more and falling silent.

What was going to happen next?

Roger's (and his muscles) were on now and Cutty sat quietly watching as the scenery had changed and the little blonde kid took on the role of Loki. Bronwyn. That was his name. He'd heard him mutter something underneath his breath as he took to the stage and when he'd spoken his first line, Cutty made the connection. Bronwyn said things that people thought of saying but lacked the courage to say. He snickered to himself realizing this was gonna be good.

And it was. There was snarky nature to the Loki character this time around that Cutty found he could appreciate. Coupled with Zeke's more casual and forward way it made for an interesting contrast. There would've been a slight nod at the delivery of the simple truth of having to get married to get back a hammer if his mirror neurons were intact. Alas, they were not.

Zander was being quiet. In fact most of the giants were being pretty quiet. All except for the one demanding more dinosaur meat. This was suspicious... very suspicious. Where they really on to Thor and when they got their giant bellies full they planned on attacking? Was this all a game to them? Maybe they had no intentions of giving the hammer back and they just wanted Thor to be full and content and BANG! Eat him like he was simply Dino meat.

Or maybe the Giants just liked having a full belly before they started all the chaos and fighting. AJ couldn't exactly blame them for that. Whatever the case may be she just hoped they would all get on with it. The fight scene was the grand finale and this little lion was sitting on the edge of her seat waiting for it all to unfold.

Norah made a good point about if the hammer was just brought to them already they could get on with their lives. Your moves giants. Maybe this was just the thing the needed to hear to get the ball rolling.

Fight. Fight. Fight.

Wow, Norah. Gabriel, while cringing just a little at the sharpness of her tone, found the portrayal amusing. She was definitely going the OVER THE TOP dramatic route, which was good. Most plays demanded those types of performances.

...and Sophie seemed to be getting in the zone with Zander, Marigold, and the other giants. Oh, THEY WERE GETTING THE HAMMER NOW. Did that mean the fighting was about to 'commence'? Not real fighting, surely...but play fighting, which Gabe could handle.

In preparation for whatever was about to happen, he scooted back on the floor some, away from the action. This was a large group, you know. Did they have enough room? He didn't want anyone tripping over him.

There was a certain, 'You're my boy, Blue!' feeling Cutty got about Adi Rehman each time he saw the boy. He always knew what to say. Truth, truth, truth. And this time was no different stepping into the role of the trickster god as eloquent and smooth. It was, different in the extreme from the afore given performances of the character.

The couple's natural chemistry added an ease of dialogue between the Thor and Heimdall interaction too. He did not know Aubrey Valentine very well, at least not as well as her sister who sat fit to sit on Cutty's lap on at least one occasion, but if he could read her in-role thoughts he probably would've had a great interest in her.

He didn't laugh out loud, but the idea of Lux as a man amused him so as he still imagined that Lux was a great empathizer of what it was like to be a member of the opposite gender as evidenced by that time they'd made biscuits in the kitchens with Damien.


'Deck him out in precious stones'.


Yeah. This had been his favourite group thus far.

BROCCOLI? Marigold!giant could DEAL with that, she supposed, though she made a big HARUMPH to cover up her giggling because Norah was just THE BEST. When Dot went off to get the hammer she was a bit relieved, because to be honest she didn't really know the story, so she was just going along with others, like Zander and Sophie Brown.

Who were shoving each other? Playfully, yes, but….she wanted in on that. Did that mean they were supposed to be fighting? She pretended to throw her broccoli back at Norah.

Good job, McAlistor.

There were no takers to retrieve the hammer, so Dot rose dramatically from the table (actually, she bounced to her feet and did some jazz hands, but whatevs) and headed off on the hammer-getting mission. She skipped for a bit before recalling herself, and then there was some very giant-like clomping as she left the stage and the feast.

Now then... was there properly a hammer, or did she need to find something? Maybe Professor Mr Botros would like to be the hammer and go and sit in Zander's lap? Or no, could Dot be the hammer? She'd really like to sit in someone's lap. Or NO, wait, there was this prop hammer here, and it would do fine.

Dot carried the hammer back onto the stage, clutched in both hands so she could properly demonstrate how truly lovely and amazing a hammer it was to all the giants around the table. Twice. Only then did she come back and kneel beside Zander with the hammer held out to him. "BEHOLD I COME BEARING YOUR GLORIOUS HAMMER. It's super pretty. Get thee on with the action, sir giant."

Marigold continued munching on whatever food as she waited for Dot to come back with the hammer…did she need help? During the awkward silence, she made some grumbly noises and "Me eat food now,", etc.

Oh, the hammer. Dot was back. Marigold couldn't remember what came next, so she simply bellowed, "THANK YOU. NOW STOP - HAMMER TIME."

HEY that was HIS food, Sophie Brown! Zander again bumped into her trying to look utterly upset about the stolen food, even throwing in a giant-like grunt as he did so.

ANYWAYS.

Hammer. Dot was getting that right? He watched as the small girl bounced away to get it. And again, went back to guarding HIS food. AHEM. Hear that Sophie Brown? His.

But no sooner had he turned back to his "plate" when he noticed Dot coming back. And... The hammer was in his lap? Wait. He knew exactly what to do. Rising from the table and grunting a "Don't eat this it's mine!" to Sophie, he walked his way towards the bride, which was Benny. "Er, here?" Sort of breaking out of character there when he placed the "hammer" into Benny's lap. Now they were supposed to be waiting for some marriage ceremony, yes?

Nah. A fight was gonna happen. But he wasn't supposed to know that as one of the random giants. Let the scene move forwaaaaard!

Norah grinned at the audience as they laughed (or held themselves back from laughing but really it was the same thing). It didn't even matter that they were probably laughing for Benny and not her, 'cause either way they were laughing and people laughing was good. As a rule. It was much easier to think of it that way, 'cause then everybody was always laughing with you, not at you, and no matter what everything was much happier. Hence the grinning. Plus she'd had NOTICED the cringing happening in the audience but Loki had to be bossy, right? Loki was all sorts of cool and talented and all that which meant bossiness was allowed, probably. And loudness was allowed too, bcause she was the boss and she'd decided. Apologetic smiles for you, Gabe. It was for the good of DRAMA.

She tried to straighten her face out to get back into the real, serious job of being a serving maid but then Mari threw an imaginary piece of broccoli back at her and she had to cover her mouth to keep from cracking up. The fourth year covered it up by pretending to sneeze again, 'cause according to her Loki was allergic to giants, remember? See that? THAT was continuity. Or something. Whatever it was called. Folding her arms across her chest, Norah watched Dot reenter with the hammer, and she arranged her face into the most impressed face she could, because serving maids got impressed sometimes too, even though their jobs were all sorts of exciting.

"HUZZAH!" She wasn't entirely sure why she'd said that, but it seemed right. She was FEELING the scene and stuff, y'know? And it was much easier to keep from giggling when you were talking. Or FIGHTING, 'cause that was going to happen soon, right? Did the serving maid get to karate chop people too? She couldn't really remember, but it made sense for Loki to get in on the action.

Benny could feel the eyes on him, especially Angel's as he chanced a glance in her direction. And Adi had certainly made his reaction very clear. Why did his best friend have to tease him on how good he supposedly looked in the outfit? The sixth year lion had to fight the urge to color in embarishment. Thank Merlin for the veil, however thin it was before her face...his face. Ahem.

So Dot had retrieved the prop hammer from where it had been and Benny perked up in his seat. That meant they had to be ready to move on. And he as Thor would be anxious to show his full strength before the Giants he was often the beater of. Except when she returned to the table, she knelt and moved to hand it off to Zander one of the Giants. Um...he didn't think that was how it was supposed to go. Didn't Botros say Thrym ordered the hammer to be given to 'the bride'...right?

Why did it not look good?

Why was Benny so tempted to just wandlessly summon the hammer from Zander like he thought another Thor might have done? He'd have to ask Adi since superhero movies were more his thing.

---oh look! A hammer...in his lap.

And Marigold was right, it WAS hammer time. Gathering up his courage, Benny grabbed hold of the prop hammer's handle and jumped up to his feet to take them all by surprise. The veil falling from his face in the process revealing Benny!Thor. "YES! My dear Mjolner has been returned!" he exclaimed, acting all mighty god as best he could while trying to block out the audience, hammer raised high above his head.

"Now you shall pay!" Benny turned around to look at all those gathered, swinging the hammer around with him as if threatening them all.

Oh man. Oh man. AJ's eyes followed Dot as she rose from her seat. Was she going to get the hammer? Was everything really about to go down? Without even realizing it AJ moved closer to the stage area. It was looking like she was right. Dot had a hammer, and she gave it to Zander. What were you going to do with it, prefect? First, he was going to declare what was his in relation to the fake food. AJ couldn't blame him there. Priorities first.

Her house prefect then took the hammer to Benny who made a lovely bride. What says you? Was it about to go down? Or would they continue on and get "married" first? The fourth year could hardly contain her excitement. She had to refrain from yelling out. This was Benny's big moment and AJ hoped that he didn't get nervous because the dude was naturally shy.

AJ took to biting her nails. It was all she could do to remain seated. Why couldn't she had been apart of this scene? These guys were getting to have all the fun, and she wanted in on that action.

Then it happened. Benny was up, and he most definitely wasn't scared. No, he was magnificent and bold and THOR WAS REUNITED WITH HIS HAMMER!!!

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!! Ahem.

Their group was by far the weirdest one, in Sophie's eyes, but she thought that went along with having such a huge group. They were DESTINED for chaos, really, and it was the best. Soph LAUGHED when Mari pretended to throw food at Norah and tried to hide it behind her hand, the one that had previously been miming her eating a chicken or turkey leg or something.

DOT was especially impressive, though, with her stomping and grand gestures and she TOTALLY had Soph fooled into thinking she really WAS a frost giant. But then... wait. HAHAHA! Why was she giving the hammer to ZANDER? Soph snorted at her giant buddies and shook a playful fist at the Gryffindor when he told her not to eat any more of his food.

So, naturally, when his back was turned and he carried out the task of delivering the hammer to the bride, Sophie mimed stealing more of his food. If the bride had eaten all the good stuff already, she just had to TAKE what she could GET, okay? Merlin.

...But then there was ACTION. THOR WAS REVEALED. Sophie GASPED, her expression horrified, and she clutched her chest in despair.

"IT IS THOR!" she hissed, jumping to her feet and pointing an accusing finger. Is that what the frost giants called him? Just Thor? SHE DIDN'T KNOW. "WE HAVE BEEN BAMBOOZLED." Sophie didn't have a stinkin' clue how a frost giant talked, so that was as good as it was going to get. Then she SHUDDERED and cowered, pretending to be filled with DREAD at the sight of him. HORRIFIED. HOW DREADFUL, THIS WAS.

WAS IT FIGHT TIME!??!?! Marigold clenched her teeth and looked all growly until…

GASP. THOR WAS IN THEIR MIDST THE WHOLE TIME. Marigold TOTALLY played up the drama, swinging her head from left to right, gasping, back of her hand to her forehead, the who big deal.

"GIANTS. UNITE. V FORMATION." She stood up and BRAVELY TOOK THE LEADING SPOT.

Adi was going to 'propose' to Benny when this was over just for the fun of it. He wished he could see the other boy's face but the veil was in the way. He had a mighty suspicion that Benny was red under there though. Hehe.

His eyes followed his Queen Dot as she did her acting part. Her Head Minion was very proud of her. Yes, he was. Annnnd there went Mari! YEAH! HAMMER TIMEEEE! Right on cue Benny got himself into the acting. As in REALLLLLLLLLLY into it O_O Adi rarely if ever heard Benny use such a LOUD voice even when he protested Adi's ambition to turn him into a dragon. But GOOOOO, BENNY, GO!

Hehe. Benny really must have surprised the others by taking the 'hammer'. "The Mjolner is not a Beater's bat, Benny!'' So don't go knocking anyone out. LOL.

Things were getting crazier and crazier. Food was being thrown and then Hammer time. Janelle almost lost it at that point, but somehow she managed to keep it together and not break character.

Finally, the hammer was given to the veiled bride. Hamming it up to the max, Janelle put on her best shocked giant look when Thor was revealed. "What? The bride's a dude? Thor? This is an outrage!!!" She stood up, stretching to her full giant height. NOOOOOO!!!! Taking her boxing stance, Janelle was ready to fight. It was on!

None of the other giants were assuming the geese!fighting formation, so Marigold instead went for the next best thing.

Tackling Norah.

She just went for it - she was small enough to not do any harm, instead just grabbing her legs and toppling over. While on top of her, she yelled an explanation:

"THE SERVING MAID IS AN ACCOMPLICE!!!!" Then she threw some more imaginary food.

RAWR.

The bride's a dude. Hahahahahaaha!! Janelle cracked Sophie UP and she couldn't even feel sorry for breaking character. Did it really matter that this was a hilarious mess? Because they were having ALL the fun, and that's what Sophie thought really mattered.

Mari was REALLY good at leading the cavalry, and Soph SALUTED the Hufflepuff prefect and moved to get into a V-formation behind her - but then Mari just ABANDONED the plan and went and tackled Norah. There was MORE laughter from this Ravenclaw, and she made WIGGLY EYEBROWS at Benny - SHOULD SHE CHARGE? SHOULD SHE RUN AT HIM? WOULD HE JUST BONK HER ON THE HEAD WITH THE PROP HAMMER?

Guess she'd find out. Sophie STOMPED-RAN FOR BENNY!THOR, her arms wide like she was going to tackle him, which was... pretty funny, all in all, as Benny had SIX inches on her in height, and she braced herself for her oncoming DOOM brought upon by the hammer.

"DOWN WITH THE GODS." So threatening.

Dot wasn't immune to Thor's grumpy faces, but she ignored Benny and let Zander do his bit. It just made more sense to her that she would give the hammer over to the big giant rather than to his ugly bride, and let the man give the gift himself. Boys never thought of anything practical, did they?

AND ACTION.

"I KNEW THAT BRIDE WAS TOO UGLY FOR OUR BRO THRYM," Dot caught on quickly to the outraged faces, although she wasn't too sure who to throw herself in behind. Marigold was talking about being geese or something, but then she jumped on Norah... that was pretty dangerous. And Sophie was attacking Benny...

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES. ASGARD IS AMONG US!" Dot threw up her hands and made a crazy, dizzy circle around the periphery of the stage. It was the only thing she could think to do that wouldn't involve her bodily attacking someone who wasn't really a god. "STEAL THE SERVING WENCH'S SHOES. They're probably the source of her sass." Dot's crazy circles took her closer to Mari, and she offered some helpful suggestions before veering away again.

CHAOS INSUED.

a.k.a. THE BEST THING EVER. Marigold was still on top of Norah, casually, and she applauded Sophie Brown's "Down with the gods" LOUDLY. She almost threw in an "amen," but… that had connotations with gods, yeah?

Dot was spinning in circles, but Marigold did take her up on her suggestion.

"YES. THE SHOES." Marigold grabbed them off of Norah, then threw them behind her, accidentally in the direction of Zander.
