SPOILER!!: Angel! <3 So, Angel was going to help him study for OWLs. Well, it was more like her quizzing him but hey, he would take it. It would give him an idea of how much more studying hours he needed to put in. Adi spotted Angel from a distance as he was approaching the Tree. Goody! The little sister was early. "Hey, Angelfish! What's up?'' He noticed the lollypop. "Any Chocolate Froggies for me?'' he asked as he plopped down on the ground beside her. He was joking about the Frogs. Naturally he had already eaten one for the day so far. "Ready to get started whenever you are. Thanks for doing this, by the way.'' Now to test his knowledge! |
Quote:
"How about you?" Angel said as she fished into her bag, moving things around as she looked for the chocolate frog, it took her awhile but in the end she found it. "There you go." Angel smiled. "I knew that I had one in there." Angel knew how much Adi loved chocolate frogs. "Well if you ready." Angel smiled. "And no problems." Angel now had too think of a good question for Adi. "Okay here's your first question name the spell for Fire, Ice and Water?" |
SPOILER!!: Angel! <3 Adi took no notice of Angel smiling differently at him. To hm, it was just another normal smile which would soon be followed by a few giggles. Hmmm... new nickname in the making for her? "The next time I hear her giggle, I'll call her Giggles,'' he thought. "Nothing much. I bet I'll be able to answer all your questions.'' Confidsent much, Adi? Yesh, he was. He just had to be certain that the confidence wouldn't turn into over confidence. Ohh, Chocolate Froggy! Adi eyed Angel's bag. "That bag goes everywhere you do, huh?" Unwrapping the Frog, he added, ''Thanks!'' "I was born ready!'' Bring it on! He had this! "I think I can manage to name them. They're Incendio, Glacius and Aguamenti.'' |
Quote:
Angel giggled at the next question. "Yeah, that bag goes everywhere with me and it has all my make-up, my mascara and my sweets in." Angel giggled as she showed him the content. "I keep thinking that I need another one for my bags." Angel sighed. "Correct." That meant that she couldn't splash him, but she would get a chance later. "Can you name my favourite spell?" Okay so this was a trick question but it might come up on his test, you never knew. |
SPOILER!!: Little Miss Giggles! <3 "It's definitely yes.'' Careful, Adi. There was just a little bit distance between confidence and that over confidence. Aha! There was the giggle! But before Adi could comment about his new nickname for Angel, he started laughing. "We could magically enlarge the insides of one of the bags and you would be able to fit them all in.'' How many bags did she have, anyway? Adi pictured one for each outfit she owned. Hehe. Awesome! His first answers were correct! Onto the next question. Adi was going to ace thi- wait! What? Angel's favourite spell? O__O He had nooooo idea about that. Was there a spell that made persons hair all sleek and shiny? One that conjured make up? Eh... "Is it Summus Vestis?" he asked blankly. Well, there was some thought into his answer. That spell transfigured fabric into clothing and Angel was into fashion. |
SPOILER!!: Meeeep I'm sorry Zander raised a single eyebrow at the giggling because girls giggled a lot. And it was weird. Had he said something stupid? Tilting his head a bit, he considered her explanation and then no. He shook his head confidently. "You know, for only being eleven... twelve...? Are you twelve? Anyways, you know a lot of vegetables." Though uh, she sort of did lose him there. Good things vegetables wouldn't show up on his OWLs, right? Ahem. Her thoughts on spinach and asparagus though? Ew. That sounded terrible, though he was doing his very best not to make a face because polite and all. Except once she made a face, he couldn't hold back and soon enough he was laughing. "Maybe we should just stay away from the vegetable thing then, huh?" Yeah, they were gross enough on their own, no need to try and make them doubly so by sweetening and all that. It was a weak idea from the start. "Do YOU eat bugs?!?" Okay, okay he was making faces again. She did spit promises, so he wouldn't be all too surprised. Not that he was judging her for it or anything...... Just.... Zander Adair would never eat bugs in a billion years. Not even if he was all out of chocolate frogs and bugs were the only things left that resembled snacks. Not. Even. Then. Seeing her search under her legs, the Fifth Year did the same, before he looked up at her with his eyebrows raised. "Don't a lot of bugs live under rocks?" There were a couple of those around the tree. Maybe they could find a worm or something under one of those? It was worth a shot... Riiiiiight? He was, however, glad that she wasn't still all too upset about the House Elf thing, though she didn't look all that convinced yet. Merlin, if only he had been able to go after Amur when they went. "I would've told you to join if I knew that's where they were taking us," he had been thinking about her the whole time, actually. Well okay, the whole time until the point where Toddles stole another chocolate frog because from that point forward it was all about getting the frog back. Heh. Oops. BUT WAIT! BRILLIANT IDEA OVER HERE, "I think Puck had her camera!! Maybe she can show us some of the pictures she took so you can see what their home looks like?" It wasn't exactly like being there... But it was something. "OR maybe if we go back to the kitchens, they'd invite us over again? I happen to be best friends with Toddles now." Uh, sort of. |
For Dylan! Kace decided to make his way to the tree by the lake and do some scenery drawing. He missed coming here and the weather was getting a bit warmer. He wanted to do something besides being cooped up inside all day. He put his backpack down and took out his sketch pad and began to do some little doodles. He wondered who he would meet here. He always happened to run into someone. |

"How come we don't hang out as often?" he asked. Now this has gotta change! |
Quote:
"Wrong." Angel smiled innocently. "I like Engorgio the best, you see I can make all my favourite clothes grow." Angel loved being able to wear her clothes over and over again, when she was younger she hated growing out of her favourite stuff. "So that means." Angel had told him about what happened when he failed, you never knew it might happen in class. "aguamenti!" Angel did the wand movement and then she watched as hopefully the water hit Adi, after a few moments Angel looked at Adi. "I did tell you about what happened when you got an answer wrong right?" Angel gave her best angelic face. "Anyway, next question, What do I think about Professor Flamsteed?" |
SPOILER!!: Me too! Wait. Not everyone knew all those vegetables? Zander got eyed for that as she considered the reasons why her apparent knowledge was so different from others her age. It all came down to one, simple conclusion. "I grew up on a farm for most of my life, and my grandparents are fond of vegetables." Very fond, was the look she gave him. Perhaps a little bit too fond. Perhaps it was the reason she stuck treats up her sleeves so often. So yes, maybe staying away from vegetables was the better option. She nodded her head in hearty agreement. "I won't argue you on that one." Though the bug thing, he got a sly smile for that. "I dunno. Do I?" Maybe yes, maybe no? Could Zander figure it out? How much could she confuse him? The expressions he was making were terribly amusing. But the point was almost instantly nullinvoid. Whether or not she ate bugs didn't matter, because they were going to do so now. And Zander was on board! And with a brilliant idea. Amur snapped her fingers in excitement. "Good idea!" Hopefully there were no centipedes under the rocks though. Amur wasn't sure she could try one of those. Worms, ants, beetles yes. Creepy crawly things with more than six legs, just no. N.O.P.E. Still, Amur scuttled forward to the tree base and started up turning rocks and poking under roots. Here bug-bug-bug-bug-worm. And then he was derailing her attention again. Amur sat up on her heels, wide eyed with excitement. "She did? Really? Oh that would be wonderful!" But then he was making an even better suggestion. She nearly bolted to her feet. Could they go now? Right now? It was probably the most difficult thing she had ever done, to remain squatted by the tree, to keep from jumping up and bolting back to the castle. She was practically trembling with excitement, or would have been, if she hadn't taken to rocking back and forth on her heels. Focus Neverwinter....fooocuuussss....... "Can we go after this?" Maybe some milk to wash down the taste if the spell didn't work? |

"Good seeing you too," The fifth year replied as he got comfy against the tree. He loved sitting here, it was pretty cozy, for a tree and all. He then shrugged at Kace's question. "Oh, I've been around. Kinda been in the dorm a lot or with Bleu." He did miss Kace, he didn't really get to see him a lot which was a bummer because he was a good friend of his. Taking a peek at his sketch, he smiled. "I think it's awesome." He commented honestly with a nod. Dylan chuckled again at his next question. "I was actually wondering the same thing." He said. "I was a bit busy for a while but now I have a bit more free time. We can hang out whenever, just let me know." |
SPOILER!!: the Fashioniesta <3 "I can imagine.'' Adi figured that Angel had too much make up and what not. Girly stuff. Meh. Luckily, he didn't have to deal with that since AJ was the opposite of her sister. Poor Benny, though. LOL. Adi eyed that smile. He knew what that smile meant... if Angel did the same as AJ whenever they were up to something. Before he could even work up a reply, he was being attacked by water :whaa: "Hey!'' Instinctively the fifth year raised his hands to shield himself but in the process of opening his mouth he managed to receive a mouthful or two. He spluttered and coughed. Annnnd his glasses were obviously soaked as were his hair and the upper half of him. Hmph. He was a drowned Badger. "No you didn't, Giggles. Don't try to fool me with that face of yours.'' Adi was onto you, Angel! Also, nope, he wasn't mad at her. It was actually a good idea to soak him... should keep him motivated at wanting to answer the question right. But how was he supposed to answer THAT one? O__O "He's an awesome Head of House? And will those two questions be on any of my OWL papers?" Hehe. |
SPOILER!!: Angel Angel looked at Adi. "Oh sorry, I thought I had." Angel then heard the answer to her question. "Oh you were so close but yet not close enough, I think he's an amazing Head of House and one of the best Professors ever." Angel pointed her wand at Adi. "Aguamenti!" Angel hoped that Adi was wide awake with these answers. "You never know someone might actually be giving you trick questions like these and it's always nice to be prepared, and now you might not be so confident you now everything." Angel stuck her tongue out at Adi. "Anyway how about an easy one, It's in Astronomy, name three things that are in space?" |

He was really happy for them though. He thought Bleu and Dylan made a great couple. He also remembered Dylan mentioning he had a huge crush on him and look where they are now. "Have you guys had your first kiss yet?" he asked. He was only curious. "I mean you don't have to tell if you don't want to." he added in. He heard the fifth year comment on his sketch and he laughed. "Aww why thank you it is a work in progress." he smirked. He was always critical of his art that is how he was. "Well it is good to know! I would love to hang out with you more! Also me, you Bleu and Emmy should go on a double date soon.." he proposed. Wonder what he thought of the idea. Double dates were fun! |
SPOILER!!: Can I keep her? Though uh, what was that smile about Amur? "Uh I don't know!" What was she getting at?! "Wasn't I the one who asked you?" Man, girls were confusing sometimes. Especially with this whole sly smile thing she had going on. Amuuuuuur girls aren't allowed to be confusing until they're fourth years. This is against the rules!! But yeah, he still didn't doubt that she ate bugs. Spit promises, remember? It was a thing. And spit and bugs definitely went hand in hand. Or uh, maybe. You know, uh... Now he was just confused, okay? And even though he wasn't about to eat any bugs, maybe if they found one Amur would eat it and he could ask her what they tasted like. For uh, for science. Following her lead, after having given her the world's goofiest grin at the fact that she called his idea good, he turned over some rocks as well. "Oh look! Here's a beetle!" A huge one at that. Maybe it had eaten too much of-- wait, what did beetles eat? Uh. Anyways, irrelevant. "Yeah of course!" Maybe get some real food along the way because he had a feeling this spell wasn't going to make the bugs any tastier... Just saying. |
SPOILER!!: Are you sure you want to? She can be quite the handful >.> XD That little grin got another eye. A longer eye. A more considering-evaluating eye. This. This boy. This was a city boy, she was looking at. Wasn't it? He....person. This PERSON was a city dweller. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have called a farm neat. Right? Amur took the plunge on her assumption. "You should come and visit it when school is out. I can show you the ropes." Like the real ropes, and the tipping cow ropes and the stealing-expensive-relatives-car-and-driving-it-down-the-dusty-back-lane-ropes and the water-gun fight ropes and just, all the ropes. She could edumacate him. "And the vegetables. I can show you those too." Her stare turned into a smirk, and her smirk turned into a grin. Had she confused him? She was pretty sure she had. "You did." And she wasn't going to answer. Nope. Not only was it fun to not tell sometimes, but there was the little bit of worry that he would judge her for it. She didn't want to loose a friend on the fact that she may have eaten a bug, or two, once...or twice in her life. Although, it seemed that this might chalk up to the third bug and the third time. Oh well. Threes were supposed to be lucky, right? Maybe. As long as the spell worked, because it not working would not be lucky. Point was, they were doing this. Spell working or not. They just had to find a -- "Brilliant!" Zander was good at this bug-finding thing. Maybe he had done this before too. He got an eye and a knowing grin for that. "That one's yours." She stated as she turned back, upturning a few more rocks before finding what she was looking for. Digging into the dirt, Amur plucked out the wiggling worm and held it up victorious. "And this one's mine." Unless he wanted to trade. She wasn't completely picky. A bug was a bug was a bug. And the spell would probably work the same on all of them. Maybe. Hopefully. Settling herself across from him, Amur folded her legs and grinned at him and his agreement. This, was a good day. Friendship and bugs and house elves. Another hopeful, but she was determined. They might need a chocolate bribe to get in, but if Zander was friends with the elves now, then they shouldn't have a problem. |

The fifth year laughed, shaking his head. "Of course, of course," He said. "You just gotta ask is all, silly. Just find me somewhere and ask to hang. Don't worry, I always have time for my best mate." The Puffer said with a nod, nudging Kace back. First kiss...Dylan blushed slightly when Kace brought the subject up. He gave an awkward shrug. "Well, we had a small one but nothing more." Yet. Dylan didn't wanna rush into anything too quickly and make Bleu uncomfortable. He knew that he would be able to tell when the time came. He then raised his eyebrows when Kace suggested a double date. "That would be awesome! Bleu would love that." |
SPOILER!!: Dylan <3 Kace nodded and thanked his friend for being more careful sneaking up on a person. I mean for bloody merlin's sake someone could have punched him. Kace laughed and rolled his eyes and elbowed him one last time. "Come on mate we can't be strapped to our girlfriends 24/7, we need some bro time! We gotta do manly things like.." he trailed off thinking of things. "Like riding around on our brooms?" he suggested and bursted out laughing. That wasn't TOO manly but it was the only thing he could think of. He nodded and replied, "You better have time for me mate or I swear I will put the pounding on ya.." he joked. He needed to tease Dylan a little bit from being away from him so long. After Kace mentioned the first kiss topic, he saw Dylan blush and he smirked. He knew this must be a sensitive subject but he could tell him. "One small kiss? Awww come on mate. Give her a tender kiss! Girls love that stuff." he smirked speaking from experience. As he mentioned the double date, he was glad Dylan agreed. "Awesome mate I will run it by Emmy and see what she says!" This should be fun! |
Quote:
Laughing, he shook his head, waving a hand. "Don't worry about it. I will have time for you. You better have some for me as well." He said with a firm nod. They loved it? Dylan looked at Kace quizzically, eyeing him with suspicion. "Are you sure? I just don't want to rush and make her uncomfortable..." He wasn't going to mention he was scared half to death of doing something stupid or the fact that he didn't even know how to really kiss a girl - as Kace had put it - tenderly. Dylan frowned as he thought about it. Maybe Kace was right... and maybe Bleu was just waiting for Dylan to make a move. Dylan did tend to be slow at all the making of moves...but he couldn't help it! This was his first girlfriend after all and he didn't want to ruin anything. Good thing he has friends like Kace who have good (but nerve racking) experience. |
Quote:
"Girls usually like it when you the boy makes the first move. I know it is scary but they feel something like shock and they know we care for them.." he shrugged. "Just giving you some advice mate. Do it on your own pace" he winked. Hopefully he wasn't scaring the poor dude. |
SPOILER!!: The Fishy! xD "Don't worry about it,'' Adi said as he shook his head vigorously and probably spraying Angel with water in the process. Oh yeah! There was a spell for helping him dry off anyway. Annnd he hadn't even fully managed to compose himself from the first blast of water when there was ANOTHER round coming at him. O__O Cue more sputtering! "I don't think Benny would be happy when he finds out you've drowned his best friend.'' Hehe. "Siccus Aerous!'' He did the appropriate wand movement and moved his wand over his head and torso. Ah yesh, he could feel himself drying off. Good. "Excellent point, Angel,'' the fifth year replied. "I'll know what areas I need to put more revision into.'' Right! He was all set for the next question. "The Solar system, constellations and the International Space Station.'' Okay, so the latter was probably not what Angel expected buuut the station was in space so it was a viable answer, riiiight? |
SPOILER!!: I AM ABSOLUTELY SURE *snorts* also we see you sassing the Headmistress, Amur XD Zander lowered his head towards his shoulders a little, quite unsure of what all the staring was about. Had he done something wrong?.... Uh, was it something he said? Because he hadn't said anything rude... Not that he could think of anyways. But this wasn't a disapproving stare so much as it was one of careful evaluation. It confused Zander a bit, much like most of the things this First Year was capable of. Where in Merlin's name did she learn to stare like this? Quite unsettling actually. Tugging at the end of his robes, he looked back up at her just in time for what she said next. Huh? Show him the ropes? "I-uh-yeah, yeah I can definitely do that!" he nodded a bit, the invite was unexpected. Especially after she had stared at him for so long. Was she deciding whether to invite him? Huh. "Sounds like fun," the farm stuff, that is. Zander hadn't ever been on a farm before. Reckon it'd be a good time or something like that. Different. Adventurous, even? If it was anything like Herbology, y'know? .... Uh. So that was it then, he wasn't going to get an answer? Uh. Right. The Gryffindor didn't really know what else to do next, so he just went back to poking around the rocks. Maybe the answer was better left unsaid?.... 'Cause did he really want to know if she ate bugs? Yeah, no maybe not. Especially since she was going to be the one to test out their charm theory. Couldn't discourage her y'know? Speaking of which, this beetle was a pretty good start. He'd have to ask her what it tasted like once she-- What. HIS? "... Uh. Do you really think it's necessary that we... You know... Both eat them?" he gave her a bewildered kind of stare as he looked down at the bug. He still hadn't picked it up, by the way. Just starin at the thing. Making sure it didn't go out of sight. "If one of us eats it, isn't that enough? We'd be able to prove the theory and all." See? So Amur could eat the bug-- since she may or may not have done it before-- and they'd be all in the clear. No need to make anyone else eat them. Nope. |

Nodding at Kace's advice, Dylan swallowed hard. His heart was already racing just at the thought of it, and he wasn't even near Bleu! Oh, Merlin. Hopefully all these nerves that kept popping up inside of him would disappear soon because they were starting to become really bothersome. Sighing, he gave another nod as Kace went on. "I'll do it. I think I'm ready." He said, not sure if he actually was or not. Guess he'd have to see next time he saw Bleu then, yeah? |
