Okay, well... if they were keeping these ears and eyebrows and stuff until next class then Toby was hoping to even up his ear point before class was over. Not that it really mattered, he supposed, as there was nothing stopping him evening up the other ear in his own time if he didn't manage it before class was over. But that kind of felt like cheating and Toby didn't want to do that. He ruffled his own hair back into place (an action that was accompanied with a strange tinge of sadness), and turned his head to get to work on the other ear.

"Auribus Aquta." Toby tapped the tip of his wand to the top of his ear, realising that once again it was a bit tricky to get used to holding his wand like that.

The spell hadn't worked, but Toby wasn't immediately discouraged or anything. It had taken a while for it to work the first time, after all. He simply paused, corrected his position so he could see and aim at his ear a little better, and tapped it with his wand again.

"Auribus Aquta."

... *squint*

Well... it SORT of worked... he thought. Maybe? Like, it looked a little pointier, except now Toby was having trouble remembering if that was how his left ear always looked, or if the spell really had had an effect. He couldn't even check it against his other ear (Toby was pretty sure they were, err... had been symmetrical), as that one was already under the effects of the spell. Uhhh... hm.

Best to just... cast again anyway. Because whether it had worked or not, Toby's ears were still very obviously not matching.

"Auribus Aquta." The Hufflepuff tapped his ear with his wand again, and tried very hard to concentrate on getting his ear pointy like the other one, and willed the magic to work. And then he waited.

Sophia would definitely have to look into extending her one hour class to two when she was doing more complex spells because she had certainly lost track of time and was probably running into another's teacher's class time.

Well...they'd have to take it up with her later....or not if they were smart.

"Okay everyone, pack up your things we are unfortunately out of time." She began clearing off the board to get ready for the next class.

"You're expected to show up to the next class with your ears and coloured eyebrows. If for any reason the spells wear off then you'll do you did not perform the spell properly."

"Look out for the home work and I'll see you all in the next class."

Waiting, waaaiiiitiiiing...

It happened so slowly it was almost like Toby was being trolled by his own ear, but eventually, eveeeeennnntualllyyyyyyy... Toby saw that it was moving and veeeeery gradually getting closer to the shape he wanted. He was all set to sit there and watch it change, but not touch it yet, because his illogical thoughts suggested that that might stop the magic working or something, but then Professor Bellaire was talking and ending the class.

Toby blinked, and looked around at everyone else. Over? Now? Okay... well, hopefully his ear was-

The Hufflepuff looked back at his mirror, hoping that it was at least nearly all the way transfigured, because having the mirror was helpful in case it KEPT changing and weird things happened like if it turned into a TURNIP because what if he didn't notice because he was walking to another class?

But no. One look and Toby could see that his ear was done changing. Nice and pointy; not quite exactly symmetrical to the other one, but still good and pointy in its own right. Good. Time to go, then.

Toby went back to his stuff and packed everything away quickly, unsure of what his next lesson was but figuring he'd just follow the general crowd.

"Bye Professor Bellaire," the Hufflepuff said to the professor on the way out. "Thanks for the cool lesson."

And then he left, curiously touching his ears as he went.

Whew!

Adi was done just in the nick of time because Professor Bellaire announced that class was over sometime later. He wriggled his brows at his reflection. "I don't look too bad,'' he said to himself. Sure he might get some looks from other students but who cared? He did things his way. Yup.

"You ready, Benny? I'll treat you to a Chocolate Frog.'' For the other boy's hard work on his own brows, you know. Adi put away his wand, packed back his other belongings before shouldering his bag. "Bye, Professor! Fun lesson as always.'' Did she like his brows, by the way? Hehe.

Annnd where was that bestie? In the meanwhile, he'd just secretly keep looking towards AJ, yeah?

Domino picked up hwe things and felt her left elf ear. Should be interesting the looks she gets when she walks down the halls. "Thanks progessor" domino said and smilled a bitm

Kevin was NOT pleased with them having to keep the ridiculous colored eyebrows till the next lesson. And he also wondered why he chose such bright colors. Well, actually he wanted to have red but of course something had gone wrong and his eyebrows looked like rainbows now.

He grumbled something under his breath as he left the room and saw his friend standing there. "Who are you waiting for?" he asked, raising his ...rainbow eyebrow.

And ah, Kevin. That didn't take too long at all. "You of course,", but Zander took one look at the boy's eyebrows and let out a stifled laugh. In reality, Zander's brows probably looked just as ridiculous as Kevin's. Though the rainbow was a nice touch. How Kevin managed to do that was beyond this Fifth Year. Heh. "Rainbows a good look for you."

Ah. Jokes. But anyways, he lingered back for one second, poking his head through the door to make sure Bellaire wasn't looking over at them, before tugging on Kevin's sleeve. "To the loo! We've got to fix this madness." And by madness... He meant the brows. 'Cause this really WAS madness.

"Shut it Adair " he grinned as he rubbed an eyebrow with his fingers, still trying to take the color off of it. "It was an accident I just wanted to have red" he sighed as he watched the Prefect acting all sneaky.

What was up with him? The last time he had seen him like this was at the greenhouses when they had stolen all the plants. Ah good times. Wait ... loo? Fix this madness? "Dude, if you need to *go* just go...and girls go to the bathroom together...not guys" yeah he was frowning here.

As Kace was waiting for Professor Bellaire's answer he saw the time and knew the class was over. Man this was soo much fun, he didn't even notice time went by so fast. He put his wands in his robes and began to walk back to his seat. He cleaned up everything and put it into his backpack. He swung the backpack over his shoulder and said, "Goodbye Professor Bellaire!"

With that, he went off to go back to the common room. He wondered what was in store for today.

Class time was up, and now Kate was leaving looking extremely different than she did when she first walked in. She glanced in the mirror one more time then started the process of collecting all her things. Bright pink eyebrows until the next class. Hopefully she wasn't the only one who chose an odd color. Afraid to check that out for herself just yet, Kate didn't look up until she absolutely had to. Swinging her bag over her shoulder, she cast a look toward the professor. "Goodbye, Professor," she said. That being said, she headed for the door then back toward the common room.
