The lip biting didn't fool Dot a single bit, and she decided to check with Maddie later to see if she was fooled. It still meant that Kyroh was sad about something she'd done. Probably twirling herself and not letting him do it. Maybe he could dip her later, since it was impossible to dip yourself.

She was relieved when the lip worrying ended, and even more so because he liked the dance class idea. And actual real dances, too! "Swing would be fun. Salsa is all..." She did a little hip swishing. Like that. "Do your hips do that? I don't think Dima moves like that." Honestly, they should learn ALLLL the dances, and then they could practice them here next term.

The mirror, though... Dot took Kyroh's hand and tugged him up so they were both standing nose to nose with their own reflections. "I'm used to this face. Not very interesting."

Kyroh's smile grew as the Salsa demonstration happened. LOOK Dot. Heh. She was doing it sort of. There was no music but her lips were moving so basically that meant she was perfecting it. "Uhhhhh-" Did his hips do that? It wasn't something he tried normally. Without hesitation Kyroh did his best to wiggly his hips in a fluid motion like Dot had before snorting. "S'not too hard. Dima could probably do it if he looses up." He could teach Dima how to do it!

"I like your face. It's perfect." Staring at his own reflection Kyroh wiggled his nose. " Y'know we've never actually seen how we look for our own eyes? We just use mirrors and mirrors are just reflections and people created all of that so it might not even be right." Chances were it was right but still, what if it wasn't completely right? It was something he had thought about before.

"We can teach Dima and Maddie both." His hip wiggle looked about as good as hers, and Dot giggled at them both. It would be even MORE fun if all four of them did something together, but at least they could dance. Her and Kyroh.

Up close, her eyes crossed and all she saw was a ginger and peach and blue blur, so it was hard for Dot to believe she was anything close to perfect. It was nice Kyroh thought so, though, even if it meant he was wrong. They could both be wrong together. "What about in pictures? I've seen myself in pictures, and I look like I do in the mirror. Are they both wrong?" Maybe she'd have to believe him when he said she was perfect, since she never saw herself.

He guessed they could. Yeah. Dima would be more than happy to try and Maddie probably would like the idea as well. And then they could Dance with each other and he could dance with Dot and then they would just switch partners all the while to keep each other on their toes!

Looking away from his one reflection in the wonky mirror, Kyroh's eyes focused over on Dot, and her reflection. Dot in the mirror didn't seem to be wonky like the corridor. Same red hair and all, and that was the most important. "That's 'cause pictures are taken by cameras and cameras have reflective mirrors inside of them, it's all the same really." Yeah, he might not have been into that charms lesson at ALL last term but he had done his fair bit of research after he left the room. "So I guess they are both wrong."

Dot pushed back enough so that she wasn't blurry anymore, and she studied her face very closely. Freckles, pale skin, blue eyes. That was for real how she looked, right? With a little grunt, she pushed herself completely away from the mirror, flipping around so that she could lean against it. And not look at herself at all, now that her face was all confusing.

"I generally know what I look like, at least, even if it means I might look a little different. I could pick myself out of a crowd, you think?" At least on freckle formations and hair color alone, let alone the myriad of other features.

"You know what this means, though? It means you have to trust what other people tell you about yourself more than you can trust your own eyes. If someone says you're very handsome, then you should believe them because you don't know what you really look like." And if Kyroh said she was perfect... she had to believe him. Right?

As Dot turned around, Kyroh gave a small tiny wave to Mirror Dot. Looking too long made him feel weird, like what if Dot had a twin? Two Dots? Except of course one wouldn't be named Dot but did that mean he'd have to pick if he like Dot better or her twin?

He figured he'd pick Dot.

He'd always pick Dot. "I think you could."

"Exactly! But like, not for me 'cause I don't need anyone to tell me i'm handsome 'cause I already know I am." Offering a cheeky grin, Kyroh reached out and gently tugged on a strain of her hair. "We should figure out why this mirror is special."

Dot grinned hugely at Kyroh's admission and expression. Of course he knew he was handsome, even without having to trust the mirror to tell him so. She took a moment to enjoy how pleased Kyroh was with himself, even catching up his hand on her hair and giving it a squeeze.

"I was trying to figure that out, actually. Like if I watch myself in that mirror and step back until I hit a wall, what wall would it be? And is that a real place? Can I get there? How can I be here but my reflection is in another room? It's so mysterious, and it's distracting me from my search for inspiration!"

Still grinning stupidly as she took his hand, his stomach sank just slightly. "Did I do something wrong?" She was smiling though...

How COULD they be in different rooms? Kyroh didn't fully understand. Looking back to the corridor for a split second he shook his head. There was nothing that looked like that in Hogwarts. "You're searching for inspiration?" Was finding inspiration easy like simply peaking your head around a corner? Or was it as hard to find as that one sock that everyone had that didn't have a match? Because if it was then Dot would probably never find it. "It might be just a charm to make the surrounds in the mirror look different? Or maybe there mirror is just a reflection prison? If that's the case it's trapping our reflections in a really nice room and I want to visit too."

"You didn't. Why?" She was tempted to poke at the corner of his mouth, since his grin looked just a bit wobbly around the edges, but there were probably rules about touching. There hadn't been before, though, and they were supposed to pretend like nothing had changed. Dot drew her finger gently across his cheek. Keep smiiiiling, Ky-roh.

"I'm trying to design fashion for this youth contest thingy, and I've never really done that for anyone other than me. I was hoping getting out of my own space would help, y'know?" But now they'd gone and gotten themselves embroiled in the mystery of the crazy mirror, and she was further from a good idea than she'd been before. Unless her good idea was baroque and shiny.

"I think... it's a real place, but I don't think we're really there. I'd like to go there too. And dance."

As Dot's finger ran across his cheek he glanced down and focused on the very tip of his shoe. Look! It was sort of scuffed. That meant he needed a new one. "I-I dunno. You squeezed my hand. And-" He felt like he was going to be sick but not really. It was weird. Which meant he had done something wrong right? Taking a deep breath he shook his head. "Never mind." S'all good. Forcing himself to look back up at her, he smiled.

"You could try spinning around in a circle ten times then the world will look really different, and you'll really be out of your own space." She'd be in a wonky space but that might be good!"It seems like a place where all good things happen." Even if it WAS reflection prison. "You'd just want to dance there?"

It was these small things, the way he reacted when she was being affectionate, the way he looked away from her, the way he had to force himself to smile at her sometimes. Dot wasn't super keen on signals from boys, but even she was starting to put these clues together. He didn't like it. He didn't like her, not like that. Which, she'd known, actually, but she kept fooling herself.

Dot scrubbed at her face and turned back to look at herself in the mirror. "Maybe spinning would work. I'll try it." She paused. "I guess I should go back to my dorm and get to work on my design. This mirror is a little too interesting, isn't it?" And her stomach was starting to hurt. Not the spinning hurt from before, but the empty hurt like she needed a sandwich and a really big hug.

Eden had never noticed this mirror before. Perhaps because she was almost always late to class and had to RUN to make it on time--and therefore she hardly noticed the decor of the corridors.

But today, at almost the END of term, she was strolling down the corridor. Just taking a leisurely walk. Mellowing out. Trying to get focused for their exams. It wasn't as bad as last year with OWLs, but....it was still strenuous. And Eden just KNEW next year with NEWTs would be so much WORSE. Sigh.

The mirror caught her eye--and she probably should make sure her hair was all over the place--and she HAD brushed it this morning, yes?

She leaned in to look at herself--but wait--what?!?!

THIS CORRIDOR LOOKED BEAUTIFUL ALL OF THE SUDDEN! Eden whipped around, smiling, looking at all the chandeliers--but--

They were gone...

WHAT?

Agatha was fed up of the library. It was so pointless for her to spend time there because she was never albe to get any study done anyway. Stupid thing. Stupid library. Stupid school.

Good thing she was leaving for good soon. HMPH.

She had gotten some books from the library, though, and was carrying them towards her Common Room and it wasn't until she crashed into something - someone - that she realised she wasn't looking where she was going.

With the book snow all scattered on the floor, Agatha looked lost for a second as she whipped her head around to see just WHAT had happened.

She pursed her lips when she saw who it was.

The sound of the book hitting the floor, hard, made Eden yelp and scoop it up quickly. She dusted it off and smiled as she held it out---wait.

WAIT.

IT WAS HAGATHA.

Eden gasped--and dropped the book.

On Agatha's foot.

OH. MERLIN. COULD EDEN HIDE? She wasn't SCARED. She really wasn't. But she....was not in the right mood for an Agatha sighting. Or confrontation. Or the slap she was about to get for dropping something on her foot. "I'm SORRY--" she said quickly, bending over to pick it up once more--"
