It was nice to get a chuckle out of him, though Lux couldn't help but wonder if it was genuine or not. Maybe he really had felt she was serious. She was sure that he regularly attended classes so it should be fine, though granted she didn't exactly search him out... Now it was HER turn to laugh as he called her not keeping secrets crazy. It wasn't so much what he had said as much as the seriousness of it all. "I'm sure you're not the only one to think it, but maybe you will be the same when you start dating." Mmhmm.

"That's a great idea," she added as he told her of his writing about Hogwarts. "Though honestly I'm not sure why any of us are allowed to attend this place with all the insanity that occurs." Merely an observation, because as much as she didn't want to be here without Bay she needed the education in order to become a Potioneer.

Watching him kick the water, Lux nodded. She could definitely understand the frustration over how difficult school could be. Things wouldn't get any easier for him either but she was sure he could pull through. "Well, I can always help you if you need it." Like along with the Professors obviously since that WAS part of their job. And wait what... the Hat had called him too DUMB for Ravenclaw. "Eh, it's just a hat. I mean it didn't even put me in Gryffindor so it makes mistakes." Like how could it not see that she should have been Sorted there instead. Pfft. She splashed around in the water some more. "You can always prove the Hat wrong."

Kace chuckled and let him experience the Giant Squid for himself. He was really nice and cool. He loved the students. He chuckled at his question and shook his head. "Nahh mate we don't come here in the summer, but around May when it gets warmer we usually go swimming in the lake. It is kind of an end of year celebration thing. We go swimming after we finish finals." He had to tell the kid the information so he would be in the know.

He laughed and agreed with his last statement. "Yeah the school is weird wait till you start exploring the secret passageways and rooms. Some of them lead to strange places you never thought of." he told with with a smirk. Let's see how this little firstie took this information.

He was perfectly at ease thinking she was crazy, he even kinda enjoyed the idea of it - simply for laughing purposes... but then she had to go and say THAT. Him, start dating?

"Dating?" he echoed, pulling a face. "Sorry, but girls are kinda... well.. it's just... it's... it's gross looking." The hand holding and hugs he could live with, and girls WERE pretty and smelled nice - or some of them at least. But all the kissing and stuff he'd seen others do... was NOT for him. Nope. He was happy flying solo.

The only thing to wipe the 'icky' look from his face, was knowing that Lux liked his idea of writing about Hogwarts. It WAS the best idea. He could tell Gavin and Emily about all the sensible and class related stuff, and Ashley about all the fun stuff and before he knew it, she'd be here... right? Surely! He did frown a touch at Lux's additional comment. "If anything it's great, cause surviving Hogwarts will prepare us for surviving any other disaster that magic attracts..." duuuuhhhh. Magic was like that. It was a vacuum of crazy and unpredictable stuff. KA-BOOOM... you're dead, or possessed, or petrified or missing, or something. Just cross your fingers and toes you don't die here like the plant people he'd heard about.

He continued to wade and kick and enjoy the water, chancing glances between the Lux and the ripples in case he could spot something in the water that might not really belong there. Like a merperson, or kelpie, were there kelpie's here? He paused on her face when she offered her assistance, that was nice. "Thanks, if I don't make it till Christmas I might take you up on the offer." He could do with all the help he could get. Now he was smiling though. The hat was wrong with her Pufferness, but he saw kindness and smartness and all the things of all the houses that made her the multi-purpose Puffer... shame she couldn't see that herself. But you raised a neat idea. Proving the Hat wrong? ... "How do I do that?" Or was that the obvious? Get good marks? Because if so, then no, he'd fail dismally.

Adi arched an eyebrow. Was Domino getting into his head? Or was it just a coincidence they both liked House elves and Hippogriffs so much? The latter reason made more sense.

"Cool! So do I! They're my favourite. Have you ever ridden one?" Adi figured there was a great chance she had, given that there were three of them at the Prefect Event last year.

Domino shook her head. "No," she said. "Sounds fun though"

EXACTLY!

Maggie grinned at him, a hint of a smirk tugging on the corners of her lips. "Yes." She booped the tip of Dante's nose. Well done. That was why they were friends. The others just didn't get it her way of thinking (which was VERY good, by the way). But he did. Yes, exactly.

"Now all I neeeeeed is to figure out who to give these to." Like, who was worthy of receiving candy from her. Speaking of.... "D'you want one?" She pushed the bag towards him slightly. "No favors." Obviously. It wasn't a bribe.

She had never ridden a Hippogriff? "It is! Being up in the air with the wind in your face... it's AMAZING!'' Adi said enthusiastically to Domino. His first Hippogriff ride had been with AJ last term and with her, it had been even more awesome.

"There are some Hippogriffs in the Creature Housing Area. You should check them out sometime."

Domino smilled. "Yeah, I think I should," she smilled.
Domino looked onto the distance.

Smirk. So he did get it after all. Well, good job Dante. The bop on the nose. Well, he just smiled at that.

Who to give the candy to. Well Dante had to think about that. "Well the new Charms Professor likes apples. Any kind of apples, if he can't get regular ones. Though he does not like it when you touch his pictures. Other than that...............The Divination Professor?"

Dante has not taken the class yet. But from the Feast and such she seemed a little out there. It was Divination, after all. Dante had not talked to the other new Professors yet. Have not really wanted to. Hmm....Bellaire would not be the a good choice. She was the Queen for a reason.

Candy?

"Well, sure"

No Favors yet, Right.

"You know what kinds you have?"

Wait...........what?

Maggie leaned back slightly. Did Dante not get after all? HAD SHE BEEN WRONG ABOUT HIM? HAD SHE PUT HER TRUST IN THE WRONG PERSON? NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo. She blinked. "I'm not giving it to staff." Why would she do that? ????????????

What kind of candy did she have? Maggie shrugged. No. "Everything?" The good stuff? Brynn had helped picking them out. Because Magdalena had absolutely NO idea what kind of candy tasted good.

Adi tilted his head. Was something wrong with Domino? Sure, he didn't know her at all as he had just met her but that's what he was figuring right now. So he decided to ask. Of course he did. He always said or asked what was on his mind.

"Is something bothering you?"

Well it was just an option. She could give it to anyone really. Why think small. Though if she was just go going to give it to other students. It was alright with Dante. "Alright, it is just an option. For the future or whenever" Maybe she had extra candy after this is all done. Who knows. "So the obvious choices would be the Prefects right?"

Some did not seem so bright to Dante.

Everything. Well that is mysterious. Should he just go at random or look through the candy bag. Decisions, Decisions.

"Just pick out a random one and i will eat it"

Domino shook her head. "Nah, nothing's wrong. Just bored." She said.

Tobias was in deep thoughtsabout things, but was snapped back into reality as he felt someone covering his eyes. He knew that it was Savannah his girlfriend, but he decided to play along with her. "Hm... I don't know..."said Tobias reaching his hands out to touch hers. "Hm...could be anyone.."said Tobias smirking at her before chuckling to himself finding this amusing. "Hm..what girls do I know that have soft warm hands like this? Lets think!"said Tobias.

With her hands still over his eyes he decided to tell her that he knew it was her all along. "Hm... is it my beautiful loving girlfriend Savannah Galloway? "Tobias asked as he felt her hands move from his eyes. "You do know that I known it was you this whole time right? "Tobias asked her curiously before chuckling.

He had gone in search of his best friend after Astronomy. The boy having left the classroom, and him, almost in a huff. But it was easier said then done and apparently Adi moved faster than he thought, at least the point that the Hufflepuff has seemingly disappeared for now.

Benny had made his way towards the grounds since that had been the direction the other boy had appeared to be heading. But he hadn't been at the bridge, which was his favorite spot and as the Gryffindor neared the lake, Adi didn't look to be there either. "Where are you?" He mused to himself, hoping he wasn't hiding down in the Huffleouff common room where he couldn't go and try helping his bestie with his struggles.

After escaping from Astronomy, Adi had had no clue where he was going. He half expected his feet to take him to the Wooden Bridge but in a way, he was relieved when he found himself at the Lake. He stood there, staring out at the gentle waves, his thoughts of AJ briefly interrupted by thoughts of Margo and the Giant Squid. Maybe someday he could prove to the firstie that the Hogwarts squid wasn't a Kraken. "Or maybe I'll just end up disappointing her too,'' he mumbled as he flopped down onto the sandy shores, dropping his bag next to him.

His insecurity was worse than ever. The fifth year was being consumed by it. "Letting people down is my thing, baby...'' he sang out of tune the lyrics to a Fall Out Boy song. Gazing off into the distance, he noticed the very familiar form of Benny. Obviously the Lion was looking for the Badger. On a normal day he would have called out to his bestie but today, he didn't feel like it. Sighing, Adi pulled off his glasses then tucked them into its case which he stuffed in his bag. He didn't care if he got a headache. Nothing could be worse than the hurt and misery he was feeling.

Benny paused and stared out over the lake as he debated his next action. His next move, to either give up or continue on with his search for Adi. The light autumn wind picking through the loose fabric of his robes and fluffy hair. He had just decided to turn back and head up towards the castle when he heard the familiar voice singing awkwardly off to the east of him. Sure enough, as he turned in place, he spotted the Hufflepuff sitting on the sandy shoreline of the lake. Still looking dejected like he had when he first entered the astronomy lesson a couple of hours before.

"There you are..." he said as he finally moved and headed closer to his best friend. What was he going to do to him for worrying him. Or do for him since he hated seeing him this way. All distraught over what had happened between him and AJ.

Savannah uncovered her hands from his eyes and pouted playfully at him. "If you knew all along why didn't you tell me?"Savannah asked him still pouting. She knew that he was just playing with her, besides they play with each other all the time. "What are you such in deep thoughts about Mr . Lockwood?"Savannah asked him smiling at him. Tobias was the deep thinker of the four of them, besides Tyler but they were twins, don't they share like the same brain almost? Savannah giggled to herself at her joke, she knew that it wasn't true, but she thought it was funny.

"Come on lets go walking around the lake, it'll be fun!"said Savannah trying to pull her boyfriend up. "Come on, stop being such a lazy bump on a log! "said Savannah crossing her arms at her boyfriend. "I want to take some pictures of the lake and stuff, and of you course! "said Savannah honestly before winking at him. Savannah loved taking pictures, it was a hobby that she had, she thought she had a natural talent for it.

Maybe Benny wouldn't see him? Maybe he'd just give up and go back to the Castle? Adi flopped onto his back with another sigh. He just wanted to be alone. Forever. Adi had laid down as Benny moved closer so when the Gryffindor had reached him, he was towering over his best friend. Even casting a shadow over the Hufflepuff spaid out on the ground before him. It was pretty clear that he was bothered and upset, even before he spoke any further. And then there was the first sentence that caught him off guard, saying something Adi had never before said to him. Not even when the other boy had been mad at him with Angel.

Leave him alone?!

Speaking of that incident, it too was brought up and Ben was quiet as he listened and tried to make sense of it all. And trying not to let it get himself upset. This was all over AJ...not him...right?

"But I didn't..." he said at first, trying to think of what he wanted to say. "And I'm not going to...not now nor ever." Didn't Adi get that without him, Benny was liable be completely on his own. Well maybe he'd still have Angel there. But still...Adi was the one that pulled him out of his shell .

Adi was momentarily blocked from the light as Benny stood over him. Adi refused to look at his friend. Why was Benny still here? Didn't he realise that Adi only said and did stupid stuff that hurt people? Stuff like loosing his temper at the Willow, slipping him the Babbling Beverage and now loosing his patience with AJ which caused her to get angry at him.

The Hufflepuff finally looked at his bestie. "You didn't do anything,'' he said as if reading the other boy's mind. But he knew Benny well so it was kind of like that. And he was touched by what was said after but Adi sat up and shook his head. "You're just as stubborn as she is." By she, he meant AJ. "But you deserve a nicer bestie. Someone who didn't get insecure so often.'' Save yourself, Benny. Honestly, Adi didn't want Benny to go either but he was feeling so down at the moment that he didn't care what he said.

Maybe his bestie was rubbing off on him after so many years together.

But the point was the Hufflepuff had been the first and sometimes the only one, well besides Angel and the professors, that took any notice of him most of the time. Not even his dormmates took too much care of him although it was certainly better this year with Zander and Chance. "Who else would but up with quiet little me?" he questioned, finally moving to take a seat beside Adi on the ground.

"Your new friends would be better. Besides, you're not so quiet anymore.'' Surely Benny knew that. Adi began doodling randomly in the sand with his left index finger just as the other boy sat beside him. "The shy dragon is set to go out on his own now. Get away from the mean Hippogriff.''

Vinnie made her way to the lake. She loved being out here, it always looked peaceful here. Especially in autumn when the leaves were falling down, colouring the ground like a sunset. With a book under her arm the brunette strutted down to her favourite tree. Whenever she needed a time out and didn't go to the tree house she sat there. Sometimes just to watch everyone get on with their lives.

Hopefully she had hers on track again soon....after all she was doing things now. She finally started to fight again. Maybe...just maybe it would get better. Finishing that thought she plopped down under the tree and leaned against it.

Ahhhhh.

Yep, Adi caught his sarcasm. Even the stuff that wasn't quite sarcasm coming from him. But so what if he was making more friends? None of them were Aditya Rehman and none of them ever would be. And he hadn't been lucky his first year, just a quiet, shy often scared little eleven year old. "What about Conrad and Gus?" The owl and the toad had been the ones who were first attracted to each other in some odd way.

Mean Hippogriff huh?

Okay the stubborness of his companion was getting frustrating and he knew he had to do something. Benny tilted his head as if watching Adi carefully as he slipped his wand from his pocket. Hopefully without his friend's notice. Then with a quiet anteoculatia, he tried out the spell his bestie tended to like to use during duels. "Well now you're a goofy reindeer like Angel and I."
