It sort of went without SAYING these days that the first professor Toby went to visit after summer would be Professor Botros. It was a tradition by this point, and one that Toby was eager to continue. The day after the feast his feet automatically trod the path to the Ancient Runes corridor, and Tobias found himself knocking on the door in the same way that he always did during his many visits to this office.

While he stood at the door, listening out for either the tell-tale thud of Professor Botros' cane coming down the corridor, or the man himself calling for him to enter, Toby glanced around the corridor, though he knew his surroundings very well. There was one new thing that caught his attention though. Up on the trophy board, in the place where he had always yearned to see it, Toby found his name, his name, finally up on the board, on account of how he'd at last managed to become one of Botros' 'rune masters' last term.

The sight of it filled Toby with a strong sense of pride, and he smiled and stood up a little straighter though he was pretty sure nobody could see him. Maybe he could talk to Botros about his Ancient Runes OWL grade TOO, though he figured the elderly gentleman was already aware of his grade, being that he was Toby's Head of House now, a thought that made Toby smile wider still. Yes, he was quite eager to talk to Professor Botros today.

Botros was in his office with Feo this year, his grandkids had finally decided to release the Crup and give him back to his original owner. The Crup jumped towards the door as soon as the knocking was heard, Botros hadn't even heard the knock if it wasn't for the ever so excited pet. Ab waved his wand at the door to let it swing open and the poor visitor get tackled by Feo.

Cassie hadn't got to speak to Ab much at the feast with all the other excitement going on, so she decided to take her tea set and head towards the Ancient Runes office. He had been so nice and caring for her the last two terms and last terms niceness even after she wasn't so nice had made her very fond of the older man.

Finally making it to his door, she knocked three little knocks and waited to see if he was in. She hoped he was in at least. "Oh don't worry I think he'll be fine that you are with me." She glanced down at her bag. Ab never really said anything about her purse and the occupants that she never went without, but she did know if she ever wen to the astronomy tower they would have to stay in her office.

Abraham was inside his office with his piles of paperwork. They weren't so hard to do but having to read everything with those tiny spectacles of is was a bit problematic. Little three knocks were heard, and Feo bounced from his corner, trying to tear his bone toy apart, to the door eagerly waiting to meet the visitor and suffocate them with LOVE.

"Come in." Botros waved his wand and the door swung open as Feo randomly jumped at the tiny pink woman standing there.

After getting the much needed sleep, Ethan started to sort out his things, and did a little bit of packing already since the term was about to end. While doing so, he found the short twig of a Wiggen tree amongst his belongings. “Of course.” Ethan murmured under his breath as he stood up and got out of their dormitory.

Clutching the short twig in his hand, Ethan raced towards Professor Botros’ office, hoping that the old man was still in his quarters. Hopefully Professor Millard hasn’t asked yet if Ethan ever visited the Ancient Runes professor after their last Herbology class. The Slytherin sort of, promised the Groundskeeper that he’d use the piece of twig for research purposes. Sadly, he totally forgot about it because of OWL reasons.

Ethan gently knocked on Botros’ door, and waited for him to answer.

While waiting though, he soon realized why the people and portraits were looking at him weirdly earlier. Because of his haste intention to see Botros right away, he forgot to put his shoes on. Hmm. Well, at least he didn’t forget to put on his underpants. Just saying.

Botros was doing some paperwork behind his desk, his glasses were hung on the bridge of his nose when the knock came from the door. "Come on in." He called at the guest. Feo ran up to the door as usual and started woofing happily at the hope of playing with someone.

It didn’t take long to get a reply...well, two replies actually from beyond the door. Ethan looked up as he placed the twig inside his pocket and turned the knob of Botros’ office door. The first thing that greeted him was none other than... “Feeeeeeeee...”
