The Charms Annexe is a converted space on the third floor housed in one of the small towers. It is a round tower room which opens onto the Charms Corridor and stands opposite one of the smaller stairwells that leads up to the fourth floor.

With wide window sills, big enough to sit in, it is the perfect space to curl up with a textbook and study your charms. The round room itself is mostly empty, and has been set aside for practice purposes. Students are permitted to practice any charm they have learned in class during the term or from the Professor or an approved tutor. Duelling and fighting are NOT permitted in this space.

To the sides are shelves of books that contain information on charms for varying skill levels in the event you might like to try something new on your own. The only other thing in the room is a large chest towards the top left corner which contains any items that may be needed for charming purposes. The chest itself is locked, but can be opened with simple unlocking spells.

On the wall facing the door is a board that will occasionally have challenges on it for you to try your hand at while you work towards getting better as well as the names of those who've mastered previous challenges. They aren't a must but they could prove beneficial.

Feel free to have your charries stop by for a little extra charms work guys. If you need the Professor's help just title the post as such and I'll have him swing by ^^

He poked the Charms book with his wand, waiting to see if his spell-casting was STILL leaving something to be desired. Perhaps it would go back to its original form? And Dima didn't want to cast on it AGAIN just to have it do that, because he would have to redo his progress all over agai-

Oh, look. A Dot.

"Where'd you get a teacup?" The third year blinked at his best friend for a second before going back to his book. It was harder when someone was WATCHING, did she know? Praying it would work, Dima pointed his wand again. "Diminuendo!"

Whew. Even tinier book.

And good thing, that was. Woulda been EMBARRASSING otherwise.

"It was in the chest. I shrunk it, and then I undid the spell, and now I'm having a one woman tea party." She took another pretend sip of tea, pinky in the air and snooty expression on her face. Did Dima know this was EXACTLY what his mother looked like when she was having tea? Exactly.

"I'm bored with it, though. Can we go to the kitchens when you're done and have real tea and biscuits and maybe some cream on top?"

He DID know, actually. And she was actually doing such a good job of nailing that impression that he almost pointed it out, but he doubted Dot would like that comparison. Mummy Toussaint wasn't exactly... the nicest person, yeah? Yeah. Yeaaaah.

"Diminuendo!" Dima pointed his wand at the book again, shrinking it to an almost invisible size before undoing the spell with a simple "Finite."

Now, snacks? "Lead the way, m'lady." After replacing the book on the shelf, he stuck out an arm and bowed dramatically. So gentlemanly, he was.
