……….You know….when someone said 'walk further I’ll wait for a moment' it most of the time meant 'help me, I’m injured' But of course, no one understood it and the Gryffindor huffed loudly as he sat on the stairs , rolling the sleeve of his pants up to see the injury. It wasn’t bad, he had had worse before but the constant bending of the leg from walking the stairs and the fabric rubbing against the wound made it painful.

He even thought about taking off his pants and walk further with just his underwear but no, he had dignity as well. As he rolled back the pants in place, he heard his best friend and what he said made him feel….he didn’t know, it was probably a feeling of appreciation or something. Whatever it was, it made him smile but when he realised that he was doing that he quickly went back to his old self. “You’re such a softy” And this time he actually meant it as a compliment. Huh….weird.

After a few moments, he heard the Headmistress voice coming from somewhere way above them and it sounded like they had found an exit. He looked at Zander and sighed because he knew that even if he rested, he’d still have to climb these bloody stairs. He stood up and took a step, and another, and another. “Do you think I should see the Healer or make a healing potion myself?” he asked Zander as he continued to climb, occasionally wincing in pain. “Nah… I’ll make one myself” he muttered.

Yeah, Heather didn't even hesitate. She was out that trapdoor the moment she saw it. "We're by the lake." You know, just in case anyone was wondering. Woohoo, fresh air!

It took a bit longer for Hady to reach the top from how far at the back she'd been. When she finally got there though she grinned looking around and taking in a deep breath of fresh air.

So the very very long trek up these stairs from underneath the school in the Chambers took them to the lake? That was pretty cool really. She was sure it came in handy at one point in time. Sticking close to the rest of the group Hady followed everyone else.

Aegis made no claim about the door to anyone once he made it to the top. He had just swung it open and darted out. He had the mission of capturing those pesky Nifflers for their foul deed they pulled on the face of a Lady, and his Head Mistress to boot.

So if you came out and noticed the tall blonde poking around the rocks like an imbecile, then he probably was to busy to notice you.

Ohh, it felt good to stretch. And breathe fresh air - even if it did smell like fish. "Well done everyone! And I think that officially wraps up this meeting of the Cartographer's Club." They were definitely nowhere near the second floor anymore, at least. "If anyone needs to go see Healer Murdoch, please do so." She knew a few that would rather attempt to brew their own healing potions than visit the hospital wing.

Following the others, that's what Adi was doing. Climb... climb... climb! Gosh, how long exactly were they climbing for? O__O The Puffer sniffed when he heard Tanner mention something about fish. "Is it The-'' Kevin beat him to saying it but yes, The Lake was Adi's guess.

Out through the trap door and looky! They were right! It was the Lake. Adi breathed in the fresh air. It was a really nice change from the damp, moldy one in the Chamber. And it was great to actually see some real light.

He looked around at Tanner as the others emerged. They were done? Adi wasn't sure if he wanted the adventure to be over but there was nothing he do about thaaat. "You guys heading right back to the common room?'' he asked Lux and Kace.

Ah, the sweet sweet.... air of the lake. Annie wrinkled her nose a little and wrapped her jacket tighter around her. It was chillier out here than it had been in Myrtle's second floor bathroom. But, now they had to conclude the meeting, as Tiara had pointed out...

"Everybody out so I can close the trapdoor," the Headmistress announced, making a move move move motion with her hand. "We probably don't need to go back down there anytime soon..." Not with the Niffler infestation in full control of Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

After climbing and climbing and climbing for what felt like forever, Lux finally reached the top of the staircase. But... That was the end of the meeting?

She kinda wished the adventure could go on, but knew that it was best not to argue with the Professor and Headmistress. Just entering the Chamber of Secrets and climbing an ancient staircase was plenty of excitement for the moment.

When Adi asked if she and Kace were heading back to the Common Room, she nodded. "Want to head back together?"

As Kace was making his up to the stairs and huff and puffed a few minutes later, he saw they were all near the lake. He looked around and noticed this didn't look so bad. He grinned and was it was cool to know the chamber of secrets was connected to the blake lake. As he made his way up and was beginning to familiarize himself with his surroundings he heard Adi's question and he nodded. "Yeah I could sure use some relaxation after what we just encountered. Let's go back all together.." he nodded towards Lux and made his way back to the common room.

He had a fun time exploring the chamber of secrets. This would be something he wouldn't forget in a while. He couldn't wait to tell his grandma.

Hady let out a tiny groan hearing what Tanner said about heading back and if anyone needed the Healer to head there now. She wasn't 'that' hurt really. She'd only landed wrong is all, plus no one even knew about it. No one aside from Zeke and surely he wouldn't say a word to anyone about her wrist.

If it got worse of started to hurt more then she'd go the second year decided nodding her head slightly to herself. As for now she was perfectly fine and ready to head back to her common room. Clutching her journal and quill to her chest lightly Hady followed everyone else back before going her own way to the dungeons and her common room.

After a lot of painful steps, Kevin finally reached the group and he looked behind him to see if Zander was following him. He climbed through the trap door as instructed with some difficulty before letting himself fall down on his behind.

Exploring was fun and all but not when you got injured. He got up again after a few moments and rolled his eyes when Tanner told them to go to the healer if they were injured. Yeeeah....no. He'd rather make his own potion. Plus he doubted that she would help HIM.

"Oi Goober, you coming or what?" he needed a helping shoulder but was too cool to ask for help....
