Beneath a soaring banner emblazoned with the Slytherin house crest stands the table adorned in green and silver, evoking pride and distinction as it welcomes the return of Salazar’s chosen. As is expected of Slytherin dining, the décor is resplendent with the finest tableware, as icons of past and present achievements grace the table top, gilded accolades of Slytherin scholastic and sporting successes are nestled between embellished keepsakes notably donated by its illustrious graduates (ooc: Slytherin grads, feel free to RP these, but please don’t go overboard ;))
Fee grinned widely when he sat next to her. Man, she hadnt seen Beck in ages. Those were the days, when they would sit around the grounds together. Still school kids. So many good memories she had with this bloke. "Its so good to see you man!," she hugged him back.
It had been such a good idea to come here today. The second person that put a smile on her face already. Sigh. the blonde really missed being at Hogwarts."I've been good. I am a journalist now." So much had changed...they were all proper adults now. How weird was that?!"What about you mister?"
Seeing as he wasn't sure how many people he would know here, this thirty year old was sure happy to see someone that was his friend from when he had first transfered to Hogwarts in his sixth year. It really did make him happy and only two things made him really happy right now, his son and Quidditch. "It's very nice to see you too." Had he repeated himself? He couldn't help it.
It had been twelve years since he had gradated, TWELVE! That was a long time! He really couldn't believe it! Oh wait! Not it had been thirteen years. Good grief it was in the teens. That was never a good sign for someone of his age. "Journalist? You could interview me and write an article about me." Beck chuckled. He knew that she wouldn't understand what he was talking about unless she followed Quidditch. "I've been playing on the Tutshill Tornadoes as their Keeper since 2081." He was so proud of it and himself!

He laughed. "I'm just one of -" He trailed off as he heard his voice, and turned to catch Annie's gaze with her husband. He got up from where he was sitting and smiled at the couple.
"Of course, Anastasia," he said, "hello Mr. Truebridge." He was thankfully modest enough to at least feign modesty at what she said next. "I'm just doing my best." And it worked, apparently.

Nigel was grateful for the positive reaction to his presence, smiling back at his friend as he greeted him. Yes, he and Victoria knew each other as well so introductions were nixed and made things easier. "I am well..." he answered the former Slytherin. "It's nice to see you as well. And its good...thankfully back to its calmer days." With school back in session, he had his regular and irregular customers instead of the influx of young ones under the age of 17.
Old? "You can't be..." he mused looking towards his friend. "Cause that means I am as well." And he certainly didn't want to act like it. Granted Nigel had a rather sedate lifestyle but he wasn't old. "But how have you two been?"
He might have went further had he not heard his bestie's name being called. The potions master turned to see the woman he could identify as the Headmistress of the school coming towards them. With her husband, both of which had been at Cosi and Vic's wedding along with him. "Good evening," Nigel greeted the two of them simply.
No classes, well that was nice it seemed. "A certain fifth year lion isn't getting in too much trouble is he?" After his little stunt that ended up in the Quibbler she hoped he was keeping his knickers out of trouble. He was lucky she hadn't pulled him out and homeschooled him after that stunt, but truth be told she wasn't sure she could handle him at home all the time. The best place seemed to be right where he was.
Looking towards Nigel as Cossy's attention seemed to be taken, "Well it's probably nice to go back to normal with more calmer days." She couldn't imagine how the change of the summer went on the shops. They probably enjoyed the rise in profit, but the rest of the work that went along with it she was sure was probably rough. She laughed at his old comment, she was younger then them, which she highly enjoyed, but she wasn't that much younger. "Oh stop you both are not too old.. yet." She joked laughing, it felt good just to be out for a good time and not campaigning or working. Though she had to keep a professional appearance, because people still knew she was running.
Looking to the person who had taken her husband's attention she realized it was the headmistress and her husband and smiled, "Very nice to see you again Mr. and Mrs. Truebridge. This is a lovely evening, thank you to you and the board for putting it on." Their time and effort was certainly appreciated.

Fee chuckled when he repeated himself. He was still as cute as ever. Beck had always been the kind of older guy friend you a girl wished for. "Sit down my friend, have some juice on the old days." The blonde didnt even feel old, and in fact she was only 25, but being back here made her feel ancient. All the happy kids that went to school here. Hogwarts definitely was the best of them all. 8 years ago she had been one of them. 8YEARS AGO...!
Waiiiiittt....had she missed something? Write about Beck Salvatore? Now he was in for a chat..."You play for Tushill?",she gasped, " thats amzing Beck. Wow, you've come sooo far." Fee was seriously impressed, like everyone seemed to have made something out of their lives, which was great. There were so many stories to be told, so much to catch up on. " We could totally do this, it would be so much fun. " An interview with an old friend, that needed to happen.
Aurora was mid-yawn when she noticed Elliot making her way towards her. Gosh she was so tired, how did Elliot look all... effortless? She'd just had a BABY. Aurora'd looked like absolute rubbish for months after Felicity was born... in fact, she was kind of back to that point lately, what with all the teaching and rehearsals... not to mention meeting with child psychologists. She was exhausted. And jealous.
"Ell, hi!" She put on her best please-don't-ask-me-why-I'm-so-tired smile, but decided to forgo actually standing up. Nah. Too much effort. "I know, I'm so sorry, we've been so busy, and I've been no use. Did you get our basket?" She'd sent a gift basket of baby things and mother-self-care things that she'd found useful herself. And a little notebook of tips to do with the less glamorous parts of the postpartum situation. She wasn't sure how long she'd be able to keep up the cheery thing though.
LUCKILY FOR HER... Kitty!
One specific kitty, who Aurora had been missing, and hoping to see here.
Elliot smiiiiiiled so much and just ....took in the redhead's appearance for a second. Her friend hadn't been.....chatty much, whenever Ell sent her a letter. And...she had also declined an invitation for a playdate like...a month before Felix was born? SO...the vibes from Rora right now...Elliot was totally picking up on those.
Taking a seat next to the Slytherin, the blonde twirled a piece of her hair around in her finger, her grey eyes casting across the table. No sigh of Hannah. Sigh. "I DID get it!" she said with a smirk. "Thanks. I...I needed it."
Merlin knew Elliot hadn't even wanted to TOUCH Felix after he was born for fear of....doing something wrong. Thoughts of her father kept swirling in her head and she was.....terrified. TERRIFIED. Of turning into another Morganzo parent. But her surname was Lupin...which...was only the start of her 'fresh start' feelings. "You're all right? Doing okay? Hows teeehhh little princess?" she asked, tapping her fingernails(Which were perfectly manicured, mhmm) on the table top.
Aurora looked exhausted. Did she need coffee? Wine? Anything?
