THOMPSON TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME.

Soph had considered inviting Tobes along for her adventure to see the man on their first proper day back, but she felt that this was something she had to do on her own. Fuller would've been disappointed in her if she had taken the easy way out and brought Tobes along anyway, she thought, as he would've known she took Tobes as a way to defuse tension.

No. She had to do this visit on her own.

Knocking on Thompson's office door, Soph backed away and ended up sitting right on the logs by the fireplace. It wasn't particularly cold outside yet, just a brisk chill in the air, but Sophie found the fireplace to be energizing and comforting at the same time. A good place to sit and wait for the professor to welcome her inside, if he was even there at all.

You know after that spectacle of the feast, one of the most refined areas for Javier, aka Professor Thompson was back in his office. Hence him right on over. Lala the goose if she was still awake would likely want a bedtime story or the special one-on-one time every pet craved with their owner occasionally.

His footsteps sounded through the floor as he went through the barnyard after checking the other animals. They stopped momentarily in front of his office door. It was warm. Turning on his heels he could see the lovely fire going, reflecting a shadow against the wall. It was probably no surprise who would end up being one of his first visitors. "Miss Brown.." Wasn't the formalities lovely? "Good to see you back here. Come on in." A little different that she was all alone, but not an issue. The Creature teacher than opened the door for her to enter in first before him.

Benny knew there was a time to talk to professors and times to do stuff on your own. And one of those times to seek assistance was when you were trying to figure out answers to questions about your future. Professor Airey had seemed a little busy lately, especially after the last class so the fifth year opted to chose a better time to go see his head of house. Instead, he headed down onto the grounds to see a certain creatures professor.

If there was anything the young Gryffindor knew about what he wanted to do with his life, it was that it involved the living things that were the man's own life's work. So he figured maybe he might be able to offer some help himself. Reaching the more private area around the stables, Ben knocked on the door to Professor Thompson's office, moving then to take a seat to wait for a response.

Javier was in his office, supposedly busy with the amount of stacked parchments laid out neatly on his desk. He was writing no doubt a letter of some sort when he heard knocking. Knowing the all possibilities on who was there and the reasons why, he made a few more side notes before dipping his quill back in the bottle. He could easily continue it at a later time.

Getting up from his desk to open the door, he checked the area to see one of his better students. A not so young Gryffindor. "Good day, Mr. Atreyu." A quick look over showed a somewhat serious look on the boy. So the Professor stepped aside as he held the door open, "Come on in."

So Dante liked animals. Just the really dangerous kind like dragons and such because if you were to rule the world. It would be awesome to have a nundu or dragon by your side. That was just a fact. It was just he had never been to one of Professor Thompson's lessons and had some questions. Because next year he can. Well he kind of just showed up at a arthimancy class. But that was to see what it was about. And numbers were not fun.

Dante knocked once on the door. This Professor was not new so no point in annoying him. Plus he seemed cool and fancy. Next he sat down and waited by flipping through a magazine.

Oh look his brother's band was making headlines for something.

Javier had just returned back to his little sanctuary following one of his own little endeavors. Though fully expecting to have a good old lounge, he glanced over at the seating area. A right move as there was a student reading through a magazine. He looked familiar to the Professor yet he didn't know much other than his name from the list. "Mr. Barrington.." It hadn't been that long ago since he uttered that name. Though it was with his older brother. "What brings you here today?" Whether it was for something large or not it was good to know.

This magazine was boring. Thank Merlin Professor Thompson showed up. Only so many boring words he could take in a five minute stretch. And not enough pictures. Pictures were awesome or videos. But it was strange he did not hear the door open. So Thompson was not technically here before. Dante could have been waiting all day for him to show up.

Depressing to think about.

Anyway, "Hi Professor. I just have some questions on dangerous magical animals"

You know the kind that can kill a second year easily.

Dangerous animals, wasn't it? One of the Professor's eyebrows quirked up at that. "I see." There would be quite a few questions then depending on what the boy considered to be dangerous. "Come on in then." There was a plate of biscuits waiting to be consumed anyway as he opened the office door for him to enter first.
