The train has pulled into Kings Cross Station waiting to take all you eager students to Hogwarts, your home for the next nine months. With a new term comes a new chat so let's wave goodbye to the Term 38 school chat and say hello to the shiny new Term 39 school chat.

Technically, Gabe and Puck were not told to go to Quigley's office. His post noted he was relieved to see the two prefects walking away. So yeah, they weren't even summoned to his office.

Just out of curiosity, how is it that Puck is at the lake at the same exact time she is in Quigley's office, right after the forest incident? Seems to me that you need to pick one or the other place to be, and seeing as how the Head Mistress and the professor are both aware of her being in his office now, I'd say she's not at the lake at this time.

thats the one thing that stuck out for me. theres this trend of hurling a silencio at mouthy charries in RPs lately. to me thats almost as bad as expelliarmus because the ability for most wizards/ witches to defend themselves is removed.

Spiders are not miniature vampires; all species, as far as we know, digest some solid parts of their prey. What makes it especially interesting is that the digestion process begins outside the spider, where anyone who wants to look can see how it works.
Put a medium-sized insect in the web of a large orbweaving spider in the garden. You will see the spider bite the prey, wrap it in silk, wait for it to die, then begin to eat. As a first step in eating, the spider will literally vomit digestive fluid over the prey. Then the prey is chewed with the "jaws" (chelicerae), and the fluid is sucked back into the mouth together with some liquefied "meat" from the prey. The spider repeats this process as often as necessary to digest, and ingest, all but the inedible hard parts. What is discarded afterwards is a small ball of residue.

Anna's girl along with Jake Upstead, were the kiiiillerzzz. Cos they were imperiused by the bad guy or controlled by crazy runes or something. I don't remember, ask Felix lolol. And I think..... there were three? Three deaths. All Hufflepuffs.

yes yes the other was Helios Sunrider (iirc he died first), and yeah it was Felix' kid, although not sure if it was Jakers (since Sal met Jake and... yeah timey wimey throwing me off )
