After your prefects teach you the term's password, ‘Omega Glory’, the Fat Lady swings her portrait open revealing the entrance to your home away from home. The hearth has a few low burning embers just enough to give it a homely warm feeling in the Scottish highlands, and its low light illuminates the comfy armchairs before it.
While the common room is always decked out in bold crimsons and golds, the glow and overall spirit of the room seems to really scream GRYFFINDOR - almost as if everything in the room has been charmed to accentuate the colors. And rightly so, having coming off a double win with the House Cup and Gobstone Cup last term!
On one of the walls is a large poster of a lion missing its tail. Not to worry though, there are several "spare" tails off to the side for you to try and "pin the tail on the lion" with. Those students wishing for a bit of a challenge should use their magic to locomotor it into place...but be warned, this lion does not like to sit still and may jump for portrait to portrait while you try.
The sweet aroma of chocolate frogs, cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties, and buttered popcorn fill the common room, and there are large white mugs filled with hot cocoa or tea set out on a long table near the fireplace. A few roasting sticks, along with all the fixings (including an assortment of gourmet marshmallows in various flavors, all from your Head of House's personal collection) to make delicious hot schmoes smores can be found on the opposite side of the fireplace - along with a few othersurprise treats.
Perhaps the most startling addition to the common room this evening is the addition of a platform running outside one of the windows into the darkness of the September night. Are you daring enough to take the plunge? Let's find out!
For those who are returning, this is an excellent opportunity to catch up with friends and for those that are newly sorted, this is an opportunity to make friends. Unless your bed is beckoning you, sit, relax, have some snacks and chat. Your Head of House and House Assistant wish you a pleasant start to the new school term.
OOC: This is the common room thread for after the start of term feast - our first night home! The general common room thread will open in 3-4 days for regular RP depending on how much fun and chaos you all cause in here. Welcome to, or welcome back to, Gryffindor!
And no dying. Magical bungee jumping is perfectly safe and will cause NO deaths or injuries
The feast was finally over. And it was weird, so Timmy thought. Even if she had hung out with Kate and Ollie, it seemed the older kids had gone nuts at the Slytherin and Ravenclaw tables. Maybe Gryffindors were the sane ones.
HAHAHAHAHA.
Timmy couldn't even believe that when she thought it in her head. Walking into her new common room, the blonde's blue eyes glanced from side to side. No way this was going to be her home for the next seven years. Yes! Oh, there was a crowd here already. Making her way though the older students, Timmy peeked and saw their Head of House jump out the window. W H A T? Blinkblink. Noticing a large rope thing, Timila beamed and clapped her hands. "Bungee jumping! I want in!" She remembered her cousin Leonard telling her about when he did it. Getting in line, the girl tried her best to contain her excitement. Ollie was never going to believe this! Slytherins probably had a boring meeting or something.

Puck was still attempting to eat the marshmallow but made a point to wave to Nemo Grimm yes she saw him. “Hey Grimm how are you?” She grinned and turned her attention momentarily to Bianca. Really? Didn’t need to.
“Baaaabe but I don’t want to have to comfort them and make them all not sad or scared” Puck pouted at her friend, as clearly she was not ready for this. Sure she had led them here but she had pretended the stairs were a catwalk and she was simply training for commercial and acting work. Bianca asking if she needed a napkin though made her grin and chuckle. “I’m good I just…it tastes good try some” she grinned and poked the creation closer to her best friend.
“YES of course yearbook pictures!” She grinned. “Oh my gosh that other photo person you complained about is going to HATE that you have awesome photos” she grinned brightly smirking. Hey! Silas, she grinned and waved at the guy even if HE was being a poop to her ever since she got badged. Not. Her. Fault.
So she just turned her attention to the other people as they walked in and waved to Damien. “Hey Bat!Boy” she grinned obviously just needling him with the nickname that wasn’t a horrible nickname in the least….wait, Bianca was walking away? Puck frowned momentarily before stepping closer to Damien and Bianca.
“Awwww thanks kid,” Puck grinned and then looked at the growing crowd once more. Hey Zander was in. “Hey you made it…” Puck grinned at her CoPrefect. AND LITTLE TIMMY WAS THERE! “Timmy hey!” Puck grinned at the girl and WAVED at her…Puck though was still there standing in front of the kneeling boy eating her marshmallow creation. “Sogood” she grinned and smiled to herself. It was EPIC. Delicious. Awesome. She wanted another.

"Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
Sticking a perfect 10 point landing as he swung back up to the platform, the astronomer shot the crowd of students a grin powered by pure adrenaline and threw an overly enthusiastic salute that nearly knocked him right back off the platform once again. But it did not. He was totally and completely composed.
If you squinted at him.
"GOOD EVENING, GRYFFINDOR!" he shouted, both arms held out wide as if to bask in the light of the moon. "Welcome to Gryffindor all our newly sorted housemates and welcome back to all those returning. For those who do not know me, I am Professor Flamsteed. You may also call me Professor Airey if it rolls off your tongue easier. I am the professor of Astronomy here at Hogwarts as well as your Head of House." Cue a triumphant pose at these words. Still not falling off the platform though. "The woman over there with the slightly disgruntled expression on her charming face," he continued, gesturing towards Medea who he imagined was still not pleased with the bungee activity. "Is Professor Romanos, your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and my House Assistant. I imagine that Sir Nicholas, Gryffindor's house ghost, will be along in a bit as well to meet you all, assuming you did not already meet him at the feast"
Introductions done he removed his wand from his enchanted breast pocket and gave the bungee equipment a firm tap with the wand. It instantly fell off his body and onto the platform in a neat pile. "The night is yours, Gryffindors. So jump right into your new home and enjoy it until you pass out!"
And he would appreciate it if they would do said passing out in their own beds. Sleep over in the common room was last term. Not that anyone would be punished for sleeping out here, of course.
Hopping off the platform and back through the window, he reached over and grabbed a cup of hot something - he didn't bother looking to see what it was - he raised his mug to the room. "Cheers to a stellar term and keeping the Gryffindor legacy alive! Roar roar Gryffindor!"

Thanks kid? THANKS KID?............. So, could he have his shot then? Could he have her spot in line? DID IT EVEN MATTER ANYMORE?!
He was too excited, and seeing Professor Airey appear again just added to his excitement. ZOMMGGGG!

"Is anyone claiming it?! Cause if not, I'll go!" he chimed in, grinning and elbows at the ready to do some shoving if it came to that.
This was only like the most awesome thing to happen, EVER. Why didn't they do this last year? Was this going to be a thing every year from now on? Was it only for tonight, or like, EVERY night?
"Professor," he started, wanting to ask ALL the questions in his head, only, there was a backlog of them and the only thing that came out was, "Aruuuhada good summer?"

Silas quirked a brow up at the other boy and smirked. "I just left the feast. Just like everyone else did. I think I will pass on the cupcakes and things and sit for a bit to let my food digest. So pardon me for wanting to have a sit down. Okay. Nice to meet you, Zander Adair, Prefect Extraordinaire." Now shove off and let Silas alone for a few minutes, please? Thank you.
Now the Prefect had made the boy grumpy. No bueno. Could he just go to bed now? That'd be SUPER.

She assumed 'that' was whatever had let the 'dead' one to his well...apparent death?
But no one sounded too panicked, and people were greeting a Professor, so Amur allowed her curiosity to hinge on the portrait that served as their door. She stepped slowly forward, keeping close to the wall to allow other students to pass by. Only once she was satisfied her curiosity was at bay, did she turn around and...
Her jaw dropped. It was like walking into the core of the sun. Everything was so bright and festive. And the common room was beautiful. All decorated up it was gorgeous, and she could only imagine how lovely it would still look after all the deocrations were taken down. It felt homey. And that, was important. She had feared she would miss home, but this little area and the smiles and good humor that filled the room dismissed that thought completely.
The fire was the most inviting, and of course the deserts that were piled close to it. Zander and Mr. Pink Shoes had proven to her that the food at the feast wasn't a trick of her imagination, so she had eaten some. Enough to be satisfied. But that didn't mean there wasn't room enough for deserts. There was always room for deserts.
Scooting around boys on knees, kids stuck staring at the window in awe and happy reunions, Amur made it to the table and quickly grabbed three chocolate frogs, which after a moments hesitation she stuck up her sleeve, a handful of popcorn and a nice, steaming hot chocolate.
The pumpkin pastie was already halfway in her mouth it smelled so good, before she realized she was standing directly across from Mr. Pink Shoes and Prefect Zander. Her shoulders rose to try and hide the embarrassment on her cheeks and she gave them both a slight wave with her hot chocolate mug, careful not to slosh it as she move over to them. Upon nearing, she noticed that Mr. Pink Shoes and Zander both looked a little less than happy. So she did the only logical thing possible, and plopped herself on the floor beside the couch, holding her hand with the popcorn up above her head in offering to each of them.
........... OKAY....... He knew this was going to be a tough job, but no one said that he'd have to deal with rude people who had both a disregard to feelings AS WELL AS terribly snarky remarks. Rude. Just plain rude. Fine. Well, if he wasn't going to try to enjoy it then Zander didn't want him to enjoy it anyways. The Prefect Extraordinaire, going to pretend it was a compliment SO HA real winner over here, narrowed his eyes at Grumpy over here.
Fine. "... Just stay away from the bungee jumping if you're worried about proper digestion, but do everyone a favor and stay away from the attitude too." LOL WHUT where was this voice coming from? And how did it sound so put together when he was really feeling all weak and tired on the inside. Maybe the badge had bad luck, but it also had swagger power. Mhm. He was sure of it. "No need to sit here yawning, if you're tired.... The dormitories are that way," and he pointed to incase the guy had a momentary lapse in memory or something. He had to bite his tongue just to keep himself from adding a couple of 'um's and 'uuhhh's in there.
This was... Growth? Was it not?
Soooooo, was he a good Prefect yet? And could they call it a day now, please? But you didn't see him yawning about it. Just saying. And just as he was getting ready to turn around and enjoy himself in the company of friends or acquaintances really because again, WHERE WAS KEVIN, he noticed a new addition to this couch area. Oh! It was Amur. Though he was still quite frustrated with the boy, he looked over to the first year and returned her wave with a small one of his own. How long had she been standing there exactly? And.... How much had she seen?
It was a tough thing trying to stay on this girl's good side.
Seeing her hand outreached offering popcorn, he gladly took a couple of pieces. 'Don't bother offering him any Amur, he wants to digest first.' Though he didn't say that out loud, he bit his lip instead. "Glad to see someone's enjoying the Welcome Party," he said with a small chuckle. And yes, yes it was a hidden little jab at the fact that the couch boy REFUSED to enjoy it at all. "Glad you saved a bit of room, huh?" He sure was. But then again, he knew the routine by now so he hadn't filled himself up on purpose just for this.

Welcoming people... That's what this was about. So when he spotted another first year making her way through, the Prefect gave her a warm smile. "Weclome, officially to your new home." It really was home, despite the fact that most homes didn't happen to have bungee jumping, vibrant reds EVERYWHERE, and pin the tail on the lion. But other than that, it was totally home. So yes, welcome home Gryffindors.
He had briefly introduced himself to the girl at the feast, though he had conversed with the twin brother a bit more, ironically enough considering that boy wasn't even in his house. Nothing but a good sibling rivalry to help heighten the points race, eh? Speaking of points race, Gryffindor hadn't lost any points yet so this was already such a great start!! Not even a grumpy Silas could ruin this.

Zander gave his CoPrefect a small smile, recognizing the sound of her voice before he actually turned his head to see her. For a person he hardly new before the badge, she was really starting to pop up everywhere. Granted, they were both kinda forced to be at the same everywhere... Okay point taken. "Hey, yourself," he grinned. "This place looks great, I've never seen it more Gryffindor," which made him very, VERY happy. It was brilliant! Absolutely and positively brilliant. "Reckon we can take a nice break after this night's over? Maybe relax by the lake or something." It had been an exhausting day after all.

Silas sat looking up at the boy who was only a year above him and just shook his head. Prefectship going to someone's head much? Clearly it WAS. Sheesh. And Amur. She was not as annoying as the Zander dude.
Politely declining the popcorn he had finally heard enough of the lip the dude was giving him. "Look. I don't know what your problem is but I just walked up to the seventh floor after gorging myself at the feast that cane directly after a several hour train ride... I believe I have earned a right to have a seat and yawn if I feel so inclined. Please stop being fun patrol and give me a moment. It's not necessary for you to badger me like this. You're pretty out of line."
And with that he stood and smoothed down the front of his robes. Passing Puck he tapped her shoulder and said, "Perhaps explain to your co prefect that not everyone left the feast ready to immediately party. I found his tactics to be less inviting and more rude than anything."
And with that he loped off up the stairs to his dorm... and people WONDERED why he didn't attempt to interact with others. Perfect example right there! Some people were simply introverted and didn't take kindly to others FORCING them to take part in events as such. So... yeah... he'd stay in his dorm and avoid his housemates like last term. .. and the two before that. Sighs.

Truth be told, she hadn't really heard much of what had gone on between Zander and Silas. It was the look she had caught on their faces that had brought her over, and then as she sat down, the abrupt and startling appearance of a man labeling him as their Professor distracted her. She stared around Zander's legs, peering at this strange apparition, Amur couldn't decide if she was amused or terrified. She was literally leaning forward, curious to see and hear how the others would respond to the command of 'roaring', when Zander's ruffling through the popcorn on her hand snapped her back to the present.
Blinking, she looked up at the Prefect, he initial smile around the pumpkin pastie wavering. She had heard what he had said, but she wasn't sure how to take it. There was something in his tone that made it seem like more than a courtesy disclosure. She blinked, and then blinked at Mr. Pink Shoes who looked even more irate than before. Suddenly, sitting on the floor between them seemed like a very bad place to be.
Still, her arm stayed up and out in offer of more popcorn to them both. Whether it was by will or simply because it had frozen there, she didn't know. With her free hand, she pushed the pumpkin pastie the rest of the way into her mouth, chewed around it as best as she could and swallowed the remaining with some effort. With her mouth free of the obstacle, her smile returned. "I am glad. It's very good."
Turning, she made to tell Mr. Pink Shoes that the pumpkin pasties were delicious, and that maybe he should snag one and save one for later if he wasn't hungry. Her words caught in her throat at his look. The popcorn hand came down and she quickly shuffled up onto the couch when he got off it, pulling her knees and feet up so as not to be an unwanted obstacle in an unwanted confrontation. Her head swiveled from one boy to the other, back and forth, back and forth. She had no idea what was going on, or why.
It was only after Mr. Pink Shoes had stormed off that Amur regained movement. Slowly, she uncoiled herself and slipped off the couch and stepped up to Zander. Whispers of words in the back of her mind that had been uttered at the feast guided her hands to pull out one of the chocolate frogs from her sleeve, stand on tipie-toes and tuck it carefully in one of the front pockets she found on Zander's shirt. She patted it with a 'don't worry' type of motion, while turning up a small smile of reassurance to him before slipping past and hurrying to the steps up to the dormitory.
Really, it wasn't her place to interfere, and she didn't want to. Merlin's beard she didn't want to get entangled, but where wisdom existed it had to be imparted. And the wisdom Puck and Zander had bestowed upon her at the feast, was not hers to keep. Mr. Pink Shoes needed it now, and somehow by extension, so did Zander. That, and he had stuck up for her at the feast - stuck up for their spit-promise - so it was only fair she should return the favor.
Two steps up the stairs she reached with all the length her little arms could give her, and just managed to snag the hem of some part of Mr. Pink Shoe's clothing. Between forefinger and thumb, she held it tightly, whispering into the narrow space. "Hey..........he's new at this. And nervous." That's what Puck and Zander had both said at the feast. She searched for a moment for more words. It was hard to know what to say, when really, she didn't fully understand why Mr. Pink Shoes had stormed off in the first place. So she defaulted, hoping her words sounded stronger than she felt. "He deserves a chance. Everyone does."
She let go of the boy's clothes then and backed off the second step.

But before he could finish his sentence, he heard the creaking of the Fat Lady's portrait opening and the hustle of shoes against the stone floor.

Seeing the first bright-eyed and bushy tailed student step foot in the common room proper, Airey threw the crowd of students a confident salute just before he leaped off the platform into the darkness of the night while shouting, "WELCOME TO GRYFFINDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!"
Oh, well, with the presence of the second portion of the harness... didn't really do much to settle her unease about bungee jumping out of the Gryffindor tower window. Then again, she had been reminded that Airey charmed everything himself. It wasn't like he'd do something to put the students in danger.
They're coming? Oh! Stepping down from the window, her gaze snapped towards the opening portrait entrance. Aw, the students. Though why did she have to...

Wait. Was this a plan of sorts?
"Welp. Guess he got out of teaching us all." Bianca shrugged and readjusted her camera strap. She looked at the other professor who was not dead and smiled. She wiggled her fingers. "Hey Professor, how was your summer?"
Cause you know, that one had a future unlike the dead one.
She didn't push him, she'd swear!!
Fidget.
"Helloooooo Miss Caruso," she sang out softly, wiggling her fingers back towards the fifth year. Har har har, nothing to see heeere. "It vos very nice." Yup, ahem. "I hope you had a vonderful summer yourself."
Did she totally just forget to confirm that Airey wasn't dead?
Yup.

Certainly lion-rrific.
Home sweet home.
"Good evening, Professor Romanos," he greeted as he spotted the woman by a window. A glance around and he noticed Professor Flamsteed was nowhere around. Um...was he the cause of the yelling?
As more lions tickled into the common room, Medea fidgeted even more, simultaneously inching away from the window as well as trying to subtly see just when Airey would be making his reappearance. In one piece, mind you.
"Oh, velcome back Mister Atreyu," she smiled sweetly to the Gryffindor, letting her nerves play out through finger fidgeting rather than facial expressions. "How vos your summer?"

"WHOA! DOES THAT MEAN ONE LESS CLASS THIS TERM!?!?"
Aegis blurted out in total awe of the situation, then quickly added. "Can I go NEXT!?!" The Night was young still, and that meant his Birthday was not over yet! What a way to close your 16th Year on Earth.
HE...what...!!!
....
Just how long did the bungee jump last??? Airey gave better instructions on this...

Bianca was amazing okay.
AMAZING. But Flamsteed was not dead, “Baaaabe no, no!” She shook her head still laughing, “he’s not dead. Nope. He has a bungee cord on” did she snort? Nope. Well maybe. But still, she made her way into the room and smiled to Professor Romanos. “Hey Professor Romanos” Puck grinned over to her and then turned to eye the food.
"Good evening, Prefect Greyvson," she greeted warmly in return, 'cause that's what normal people did during normal situations where there was no need for panicking. So. People can just.... not panic. Like her. She wasn't panicking because things were safe and stuff.
Normal. Hello. Pleasantries.

Wait. What happened? He glanced toward the window. Did he just--? Apparently. Hm. "Are we all allowed to do that?" Because that looked like fun.
WERE THEY ALLOWED TO DO THAT??
Yes, actually.
"In a moment, perhaps..." she trailed off. Perhaps. Maybe.

Still, shuffling forward a bit more and to the side to where he figured the line would be, he saw Professor Romanos, "Hiiii Professor," he beamed, "ooohh, and I have questions, so I'll be coming to see you sometime..." once he'd gathered his thoughts and written them all down. Or something that resembled organisation.
But um, yeah, innocent active little second year wanted a go on the bungee thing. The older kiddos ought to make concessions for him.
"I bags third in line!!!" Ahem, yeah, something like that. He was fidgety, pulling on the sleeve of his jumper since he'd already abandoned his silly black robes. Robes were so uncomfortable, how people wore them was beyond him.
Cue bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Oooh?
"Looking forvard to it, Mister Rogers," she somewhat saluted the youngster. Unless it was something she wasn't supposed to look forward to? Like sad questions? She could do those but, yeeeaaa. Those were sad.

And the discomfort couldn't be any more real. You'd think after a full term the boy would recover. Wrong. He didn't think she was evil anymore she was mostly not evil, but still. After all his accusations, it was kind of hard to look into her eyes without feeling 10000% terrible about his terrible judgement. Ahem.
Anyways, he couldn't really turn back now that he made EYE CONTACT. So he continued over. How come once he became a Prefect, Professor Romanos had to be a part of the team? Granted, she was there last term too. BUT STILL. Couldn't they have waited until Zander graduated to give her the position or something? 'Cause awwwwwkwaaaaard. "Uh, hi Professor," he said smiling rather uncomfortably. Fancy seeing you here. No, he wouldn't say that. Lame. "The place looks great," totally great. Mhm. Yuuuuuuup. He stood around in uncomfortably silence, rocking back and forth at this point. Willing Professor Flamsteed to fly back up into the air. After all, what goes down must come up, right? PROFESSOR PLS.
Readjusting Chu Chu within her grasp, she'd made another glance towards the window, anticipating just when the astronomy professor would be making his next grand appearance. It had to have been only a few seconds since he lept off, but, it felt like an hour. Really.
Oh! Look who it was. "Good evening, Prefect Adair," she warmly smiled as she usually did, taking a moment to glance around the common room. "It certainly does. Though I'm sure it has nothing on the fun you possibly had this summer."
Maybe maybe??

AND LOOK AT THAT YES PROFESSOR AIREY WAS BACK! AND ALIVE.
Emphasis on the ALIVE part.
Practically hopping on the heels of her feet, nearly squishing Chu Chu in her hands, Medea beamed. Professor Airey was back, yes, she totally didn't panic. What. Taking a deep breath, she inched a little further away from the window since the spotlight was on him at the moment, though did pause to give a finger wiggle hello to the students as she was introduced.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

It was good, so good. She grinned at Ćgís and chuckled, “Aw, aren’t you precious I might take you up on that…if Bianca doesn’t want to” she grinned as obviously Bianca was important. She didn’t know the guy right? “I’m Puck by the way” she grinned introducing herself to the guy as she obviously had no clue that he already knew her name.

Super unfair.
Now her fun was ruined. Except the boy from the train had agreed with her. See, why did Puck have to burst that bubble? Was it just because of the badge? Did the badge cast a curse upon people and make them uninteresting and boring and burst people's fun bubbles? PROBABLY. That was the only logical explanation for Puck's behavior.
WHAT WAS SHE DOING WITH THE MARSHMALLOW ANYWAYS? "Do you need a napkin?" Cause that was a serious question.
Bianca waved to the students from last term. OOH. There was Emmy. She wiggled her fingers in hello to the fellow fifth year before watching the train boy twirl and... get down on one knee?
She let out a laugh at that sight. How utterly charming and ridiculous that was. "I totes call dibs on first," Bianca said, glint in her eye. Quickly, she snapped a picture of the students wandering in the common room after the feast. It could go into the yearbook and all. "I want pictures of me screaming on the way down."

Suppose that's what Puck has to do to be a Good Prefect. Aegis Shrugged. "I'll go after you Three then." Yup, totally like they were going to do it. Whether or not they was allowed to in the end or not.

Taken a Back...This Tall Blonde Gryffindor was taken a back. He witnessed to him what looked to be the Early demise into the Return of a Great Man. The Moonlight coming through the window surrounded the Professor like a bright white aura as he struck his heroic pose. His Mouth gapping wide, and completely ignoring his whole speech. Aegis wanted to be this Man! Well he wanted to be his Uncle too, but also this guy, his poses that white Aura. He'd give up Quodpot, and pursuing Agatha Hapgood just to apprentice under this Wizarding God. Aegis knew where his feet were taking him as Professor Flamsteed raised his Mug for a Toast, he just decided not to stop them. He planted himself in front of the Also Blonde man and stared at him in amazement. "Teach Me" was all Aegis could muster up.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Kevin didn't reallly pay attention to the speech that was given because he was too busy looking around for his best friend and Prefect, Zander. He had to tell him something and....Did their Head of House just JUMP OUT OF THE WINDOW?! O_________O
Kevin had been staring at the place he had vanished with is mouth open while he was eating a cauldron cake but when the man bounced back again he realised that it was a sort of bungee jumping and his desire to try it out as well was burning. His eyes flashed as he immediately ate the rest of the cake and ran to the jumping device.
"HOW DOES THIS WORK? I WANT TO TRY!" THIS WAS SO COOL YO! And Zander could wait for a while for now.

The party don't start till I walk--- OH! Apparently it HAD started. Ahem. Well, this was fine too. You see AJ was late by nature, and she had to say goodbye to her boyfriend, it was such a shame that he wasn't a lion, and those kind of things took time. They just did. The common room was pretty packed and as usual there were familiar and not so familiar faces, and oh my goodness what was that on the ledge? For once food didn't call to her first. Airey and Medea were both there. "Hello professors. I hope you guys had a sweet summer." Because she sure did. "And... I totally want a turn at that." Did they need permission or something?
Her eyes scanned the room to see if maybe anybody would want to join her in the fun. There was Bianca whom she had never officially met, but she was somebody that AJ had seen around. That girl got a finger wave, she did. There was another older girl that she had never talked to. Emmylou She got a wave from AJ. Maybe she should talk to some more people. Hmm...
Little Zekewas there. AJ really liked the younger boy, and he was pretty awesome at getting house points, and those kinds of things mattered when you wanted to win at life. "Sup, Zeke?" Did he wanna take a plunge? He looked like the kind of person to do that kind of thing. Benny had made it, but there wasn't a sign of her sister anywhere. "Hey Benny, Angel didn't go off to bed, has she?" Because AJ would drag her down. It would be fun to see Angel diving off the platform.
There was an older boy who she knew that she hadn't seen around. Hiiii Aegis." AJ made her way over to him and stuck her hand out. "Sup? I'm AJ." See how nice and friendly she could be. There was one of their new prefects. How was she going to compare to Lex? Only time would tell because as far as AJ was concerned Puck had some really big shoes to fill. Why not go ahead and introduce herself and congratulate her? The third year walked over to her. "Congrats on becoming prefect." That was a task that AJ wasn't sure she would want. You had to be good all the time, and while she thought it was pretty hot that her boyfriend was one, she didn't think she would want that kind of responsibility to be honest.
Another boy that she didn't know? Mitchell definitely didn't seem familiar, but she could have just missed him. There were a lot of people at Hogwarts, okay? He got a wave anyways... just in case he had been here for seven years or something. The next boy that she laid eyes on was definitely new. Nemo seemed a few years older than she was. Since AJ pretty much made it a habit to wave or introduce herself, she mad her way over to the new lion. "Hey there. I'm AJ." Obviously she was a lion so there wasn't any need to broadcast that. "How are you liking Hogwarts so far?"
More people were here. Dang, how late was she? Anywho, AJ spotted Silas, and gave him a wave. He was another one that she was pretty sure she had seen around before. More boys. A wave was given to you as well, Damien. Looky! It was Zander." A wave simply wouldn't do for him. AJ bounced over to where he was and held out her fist for a bump. "Congrats on prefect man. You totally deserve it." She had things she wanted to talk to him about, but this wasn't the place. The lion leaned in a bit. "I need to talk to you sometime about erm... important things." Later, in private. For now though, "let's just enjoy the party. Are you going to do that?" Points were made to super cool thing that would make you feel like you were flying.
Was that a ickle firstie? Aww! Amur was tiny and cute, and just AWWW! It felt good not to be the smallest and youngest person at Hogwarts anymore. A smile was firmly in place as she made her way over to yet another person. "Welcome to Gryffindor," she said in a super cheery voice. "You got in to the best house ever, and you will LOVE it." What was not to love? "If you ever need any help or anything you just let me know." Because AJ was a good helper, she was. Another first year was caught in her line of vision. Man, it felt like it had been ages since she was a first year when in reality it had only been two years. Timila looked out of sorts? Or maybe AJ was looking too much into it. Either way, he got a big smile too. "Welcome to Gryffindor. How does it feel to be a lion?" Wonderful, amazing, the best feeling ever?
Annnd troubleKevin was here, and he looked like he was down for the fun. Alright! That was her kind of lion. "Sup?" Now it looked like she was going to have to wait her turn, which she wasn't so good at doing always, but she didn't have much of a choice. "I'm next." Just sayin'!
Mentions of Puck, Airey, AJ, Damien but Anyone can grab him!

Nemo saw the wave from Puck and moved over in that direction. "Hey, i guess i escaped the interrogation at the feast?" He smirked a little because Puck began asking him about his girlfriend but he didn't exactly finish telling her, he assumed she'd be amused because of how Anti-relationship he was last term.
Then their head of house was speaking, Nemo found Flamsteed to be a very interesting person. He was odd, but more like quirky but he liked him enough. Plus he was always going on about things like Star Trek, Nemo had a special love for muggle things. Maybe he'd have to ask this professor about muggle things he should get into.
Damien was there but he seemed to be socializing, Nemo would wait. they would catch up at some point.
Nemo looked at the Brunette introducing herself, she seemed a bit younger. "Hi, I'm Nemo It's a pleasure to meet you." He held his hand out to shake A.J.'s cause manners are important. Did she think he was new? "It like it quite a bit, Just as much as last term so far." Was that too snarky of a response? He certainly hoped not..
Puck chuckled when she heard the Professor cheering and even clapped when he landed. She wasn’t even tired so yeah she was going to have fun tonight with everyone…maybe even fall asleep in the common room? She grinned over to Zeke and grinned.
“Take it Zeke, my third place spot,” she grinned after all Bianca was going second right? Puck of course glanced over to Zander when she heard him loudly talking to Silas. Was it okay if she laughed? But she didn’t laugh as Silas responded and reacted and even told her to tell Zander that he didn’t appreciate how rude Zander was. She glanced over to Zander and shrugged as Silas disappeared.
“It is awesomely Gryffindor isn’t it?” She grinned brightly. “Are you kidding me? I will need a long time to relax really,” she admitted with a grin. “And maybe we can use that time…to you know get to know each other better since we will have rounds and everything” she shrugged and continued smiling at him. “Nice job sounding all tough there Zander” she grinned.
And Amur, Puck grinned at her “You are absolutely right, nervous like you wouldn’t believe” she grinned at the girl, “he does deserve a second chance.” She smiled to Professor Romanos next, almost a look I’m talking to kids smile because that was a big deal wasn’t it? “Did you enjoy your summer Professor Romanos?” She asked happily.
Puck smiled when she heard Ćgís claim he’d still go after her. What? She had thought it was one of those either or situations but no, he was really sweet. “Aw thanks…..” she had no idea what to call him but still glanced over to AJ as she heard her introduce herself to him and congratulate her too! She grinned to her “Thanks AJ! I’m excited and nervous honestly” she admitted and smiled to the younger girl. Hey and Nemo was over there, “Oh…yeah right the interrogation” she laughed and grinned at her friend. “I mean, c’mon there was so much drama that I got distracted especially seeing all the drama at the feast” she laughed and grinned at really ALL of the people around her.

Fashionably late, she was. And considering Meredith Moxley was usually the life of the party, she surely hadn't missed too much. Besides, she had to go and get Maddox! The man simply couldn't be left to get himself here and knowing him, he'd have some far fetched story about why he couldn't make it. Not acceptable. No way, Sir. The gang was back together and in their old common room, no less! This. was. epic.
"Let's hope they have some good food, eh!" Never mind that they'd only JUST finished eating, she was ready for round two! She just DIDN'T get full. It was some sort of gift, honestly. Meredith nudged the man next to her as she complimented her way past the Fat Lady and into the common room.
Hiiiii *with Meredith* Answering Kevin's question too sorry XD
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
She was walking fast. No...no really Mer, slow down, he couldn't sustain this speed for long. It wasn't that he was unfit but rather that this was some high level of exertion he hadn't planned on. Make no mistake, Maddox had thought of maybe a million reasons to give to Airey tomorrow about his absence but then Meredith was at his door.........and excited and her level of excitement was making his head hurt so he went without complaint.
The thought of food had him perking up a little though considering he'd skipped most of the feast --bloody sulking Ravenclaw making him feel bad. He'd probably have to fix it, later. "Looks good from where I'm standing." The food that is.
"And look, Airey's trying to kill the children, less to teach." Brilliant, no?
Maddox watched one particularly eager lion (Kevin) asking how things worked. "It's magic. You jump and hope the rope dives down to save you after. It's 50/50 but roar Gryffindor, right?"

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
"Yeah yeah, wait your turn" Kevin told AJ as he saw her standing near him , also interested in the bungee jump device. He still didn't know how it worked though. That was until a voice explained it to him and after he was done listening the Gryffindor rolled his eyes.
Did that newbie professor think he was stupid or something? He might not be a Ravenclaw but he wasn't dumb either. "Really now?" he answered sarcastically and grinned. "Oh but as a new Professor you probably don't know this but it is tradition to let them go first" without another word he jumped back in to the room and grabbed his arm. "Right AJ?" he asked her. He could use some help with trying to scare the man.
Romanos, Airey, AJ, New Professors and anyone else
Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
As more and more fellow lions joined them in the common room, Benny began to realize just what had transpired with Professor Flamsteed. The clues were there as some had even started clammering for the chance to jump themselves. He himself could wait...bungie jumping wasn't his prefered way to fly and after the feast they had all had...well. Let's just say the fifth year wasn't sure it was the greatest idea at the moment. He'd settle for staying with his feet on the common room floor tonight.
Maybe the defense professor was also not a fan of the featured activity. She certainly seemed just a touch out of sorts. "Thanks," he returned as Romanos welcomed him back to school. "Uh huh," he said with a nod. "How was yours?" If she was willing to answer it back.
Ah....there was the astronomer, the man suddenly reappearing through the open window. Benny followed suit, raising his own mug of hot cocoa at the proposed toast. To another great year. "Good evening, Professor," he greeted after lowering his mug and taking a sip.
Debating his next move, his attention was caught as his name was called. The older lion turned to spot AJ and he shook his head at her question. "Nah...not that I know of." It did make Ben wonder where she had gotten to and he looked around for the familiar form of the girl's mirrored image. So far all he noticed was the added presence of two more professors into the mix. "Good evening Professors," he greeted out of politeness, not quite sure what to make of the new staff members just yet.
Silas, Amur, Romanos, AJ, Puck, + le NEW PROFESSORS! (aaand we want MORE, so grab us)

Sighs.

Pretty out of line? As in Zander Adair was pretty out of line??? Uh. No, last time he checked EVERYONE had just come from the feast, but that didn’t mean that everyone else felt entitled to act as grumpy as this guy. Zander understood more than anyone how time alone and away from people was necessary, but if this grumpy Gryffindor felt that way, there was plenty of quiet and alone up in the dormitories. Merlin forbid he had to actual walk up stairs. Wow. Life was a real struggle today for this kid, huh? Stairs. As in moving feet. Okay.
If only he knew what a day Zander had gone through. Being the center of all the new buzzing rumors, living with the constant terror that his dormmate would just pounce on him at any second, having to talk to everyone in sight. But he walked up the stairs too, but you didn’t see him raining on everyone else’s parade. Except for this kid’s of course, but he deserved it. He did it first. “Just because you’re tired, doesn’t mean you have to sit here yawning rudely. There was work put into this and even if it’s not your cup of tea, a little respect would be nice, no need to participate in the bungee. The Professors did this for us.” But before he could even finish with what he was in the middle of saying, the boy stood up and walked away. And then COMPLAINED about him to his CoPrefect. As if Puck would even take the grumpy boy’s side. If anything, Puck would be just as angered by the rudeness he showed by obviously mocking the event with his yawning. If he was tired, it was understandable. But really, no need to go making a mockery of the event. Younger students were impressionable and if they saw this boy acting all bored, they’d follow suite, defeating the entire purpose of this fun welcome event.
Though he was left frustrated with that horrible interaction, he couldn’t help but feel completely awful about the way the younger boy had stormed off. It was the first day and he had already done his job wrong. Well… maybe wrong. Actually, he wasn’t sure how he was supposed to behave in that situation come to think of it. Except, he probably wasn’t supposed to have people storming away from him. The look of disappointment on his face was probably clearly visible and he was so caught up with what had just happened, that he sort of lost sight of what was going on around him for a moment. But only a moment, because he finally noticed Amur standing in front of him on her tip-toes… Trying to put something in his pocket? The Gryffindor gave her a weak smile, and bent down properly so that she could reach his height. And then she was off. Off to talk to the boy.
And he couldn’t do anything but just watch the interaction take place. Though he didn’t know what she could have been saying to him…. He strangely trusted her. Maybe it was because of the reassuring look…. and oh, a chocolate frog?? Merlin, he really needed this right now.

"Did I screw that up?" he asked the fellow Prefect, looking back over at the boy who was now almost all the way up the stairs. He really did, hadn't he? And here he was, sticking up for once... And look at the trouble it brought. There was really no way to win here. If he just let people do what they wanted, then chaos would ensue. But if he put his foot down, people would storm away. Where was the middle ground here? And why couldn't they just hand out a manual on how to handle all these situations.
He did perk up a bit at the 'awesomely Gryffindor' comment, though. Even if they hadn't done the majority of the work, they still did share a small, tinsy bit of the event planning. And it felt good to see that everyone, well almost everyone, was seemingly enjoying it. Not to mention, the place had never looked any better!! "Yeah, I love it," he mused. But something she had said, struck him. Rounds?! Rounds were hardly relaxing!! "Well... I was thinking maybe sneaking off later tonight, for actual relaxation. Not any of that Prefect stuff quite yet. We haven't assigned rounds yet, have we?" He was praying to Merlin right now. This day could not go any further down hill. Just one night without the responsibility of rounds. Please. Just one night to relax. "Or... Or maybe we don't have to leave the common room? We could just sneak back down here once everyone's in bed. Sit in front of the fire place... And not think about Prefect things for a few hours?" And if she didn't want to join, it wasn't a big deal. Actually, maybe it'd be even better if there was some time he could have alone and NOT in Bart's plain sight.

Oh! Look who it was. "Good evening, Prefect Adair," she warmly smiled as she usually did, taking a moment to glance around the common room. "It certainly does. Though I'm sure it has nothing on the fun you possibly had this summer."
Maybe maybe??
Uh. Yeah. Fun summer.... It was all fun and games, really, until people found about that one day in particular. And then rumors rumors rumors which were only partially true. But he would just forget about that bit because there was no way he'd talk to Professors about that. Apparently the ghosts were avid rumor spreaders, so who's to say that Professors weren't the same? But right. Anyways. She had asked a question, hadn't she?
"Oh, yeah... Uh, summer was great," he began to ease up at her warm smile. At least it didn't look like she held grudges. "I got to see Kevin a couple of times.... And I bought a cruppy!" Really he hadn't seen Kevin all too much, but thanks to the mirrors, there were weekly conversations so it was all good. And the crup thing was always a conversation starter, so you know... Banking on that one. Otherwise. Awkward. Awkward. Awkward.
"Uh, did you do anything fun this summer, Professor?" Did Professor's even exist when school was out?Was that even a thing?

For now though, "let's just enjoy the party. Are you going to do that?" Points were made to super cool thing that would make you feel like you were flying.
Just as he had began to make his way towards the snacks, he heard a familiar voice approaching and oooh, AJ! The other Valentine. It was strange really, he knew this one better than the other, yet, at the feast... He'd only seen her sister. But... That was probably due to the fact that Angel had been one of the first at the table and by the time most of the others came around... He was swarmed. #WARFLASHBACKS
Ahem. Seeing her outreached fist, he was hesitant at first, but then met it with his own. Fistbump. Yeah. He knew those. More of a high-five kind of guy, actually, but fist bumps were just fine 'hello's too. "Hi there," he smiled at the woah, very eager lion. And the badge thing. You know, it was actually very hard to forget that he was wearing one when so many people seemed to take notice of it. Though, he hoped that it would... lose it's glimmer soon because sometimes he kind of did want to forget. It was a bit nerve wracking, you know? The constant reminders and expectations. Not at all what he planned for. "Um, thanks, AJ... Means a lot," that she thought he deserved it. Though in all honesty, he wasn't sure if he agreed. Should have gone to Benny. But aaaaanyways, "...... What kind of important things?" he asked rather suspiciously and maybe just maybe, a little nervously too. Hopefully it wasn't about unicorns again because that side of AJ was a very scary side of Aj, okay? "The bungee?... Maybe... But once everyone else gets a chance," uh, yeah maybe not. "Are you?" Of course he already knew the answer. She was practically bouncing just at the sight of it.

Oh. Who were they...? A little too old to be first years, right? And a little too new to be anything but... THE NEW PROFESSORS? Or no, two of the new Professors, technically speaking. And though he had been planning on stopping by before class to introduce himself, as it was necessary given the fact that OWLs and getting on good sides were completely necessary this term. Who knows, maybe they'd take pity on him and give him a few extra points 'cause he was a 'nice guy' to get that E he needed. Worth a shot, right?
So yuuuup. Making his way over to them right now, actually. "Hi, uh, I'm Zander Adair and you're uh, both new Professors this year, right?" He had seen them at the staff table, riiiiiiight? Just checking. Didn't need to be totally mortified here, people. Though, he couldn't remember what subjects they were in charge of. If it was Herbology, then he already had something against you, so hopefully not that one. Everything else was safe though. Heh. But, they didn't need to know that yet. "Welcome to Hogwarts by the way!" He would add a 'and Gryffindor' in there too, but if they were in the Common Room now, he figured they must've had some previous exposure to the house. So that would be saved for another time.

Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.
The creek of the portrait was like music to Chance's ears as he walked into the GRYFFINDOR common room. He gave a wave to the Fat Lady as he emerged in to the room. He took a pause to look around at all the familiar faces. He spotted Puck, Beezey, first. Of course they were together. Always together. He smirked about that. He was goin to have to find him a eatin to hang with since these two were pushing him out of their circle.
Walking further into the common room, he smiled popcorn and his stomach gave another tumble. Buttered popcorn was his favorite. Behind fried chicken of course.he grabbed a bg of popcorn and watched the commotion that was bungee jumping. He actually happened to do that this summer. He had cried like a little baby after it. But hey, try everything once!
Leaning against the wall, he munched on his popcorn. He watched everyone with a smile on his face. Being here gave him a sense of peace. Like being home.
Angel decided that she would come into the common room after all being fashionably late was a diva thing right and one day she was hoping to be famous. "Good day Professor Romanos, Professor Flamsteed." Angel gave her best smile to them both. "I trust you both had a great summer?" Angel then suddenly realised that there were two professors she had never met in the room as well. "I hope you two had a great summer as well?"
Angel then saw Benny and AJ and smiled. "Hi sis." Angel looked at her sister, well she was still in one piece that was good right. "Where you been hiding?" Angel had missed her sister like crazy even though it hadn't been long since they had seen each other.
Angel then turned to Benny. "Hey, what did I miss?" Angel whispered, she didn't want to be left out of anything though the bungee jump thing was totally a no go, she didn't do anything like that.
Toddles goes to gryffindor common room. Toddles think big common room. Toddles sees lots of masters and mistresses. Toddles needs to helps. Toddles brings foods to party. Toddles carries foods and brings bad foods back. Toddles sees marshmallows for head mistress. Toddles sees badge.
The little elf walks little feetsises and steals some marshmallows. Heheheeh. Toddles eat marshmallows yes he does. Lets see if mistress sees.

And just as Zander lifted the chocolate frog package up to unwrap--- WAIT WHUT? There was a very delicious treat in his hand just a second ago and now UH? He hadn't already eaten it, had he!? NO. No he hadn't!! Eyebrow furrowing ACTIVATE! Also, the squinty scouting eyes too because who had stolen his chocolate frog?! He NEEDED that! And not like he normally needed chocolate's either okay, this was to help his mooooood. The mood that the grumpy kid had RUINED.
... What? A house elf!? NOT JUST ANY HOUSE ELF!! A house elf with HIS chocolate frog! And he was being extra sneaky. That's right, Zander spotted you scurrying off yes he does. Kind of chasing the house elf now, he pointed at the chocolate, "Hey! That wasn't yours to take, you stole that from me," wait a minute. Hold the phone. Turn down the music. Everyone freeeeeze. The house elf took a bite!! A bite of his chocolate frog!
Well now, Zander didn't even want it anymore. Hmph. But still. He collected the cards and what was a House Elf going to do with the card anyways?! So yes. He'd want that back. And an apology.

Weeheee! Weehee! New dude agreed to their terms! Awesome. "Thanks man, I'm Zeke by the way," he added politely, extending a hand to bro-shake. Yep. They were part of a House FAMILY now, and the older ones had to make sacrifices for the younger ones right? Like how he and Ashley made sacrifices for Avery at home.

He heard a SUP ZEKE? and turned to see AJ there. Grinning was kind of constantly happening tonight, so his features didn't change at the sight of her, they just remained there, which was a good thing.
"Not much, yet," he answered with a half shrug, "gonna have a turn on the bungee soon though, you doing it too?" Cause it looked AWESOME!!

And there were the magic words. Soon magical. Take it, Zeke. TAKE IT! TAKE IT! He was going to take it... definitely. Yep.
"Thanks, Puck."

"ROAR ROAR GRYFFINDORRRRR!"
...Aren't you glad you invited us, Airey?

The thought of food had him perking up a little though considering he'd skipped most of the feast --bloody sulking Ravenclaw making him feel bad. He'd probably have to fix it, later. "Looks good from where I'm standing." The food that is.
"And look, Airey's trying to kill the children, less to teach." Brilliant, no?
Maddox watched one particularly eager lion (Kevin) asking how things worked. "It's magic. You jump and hope the rope dives down to save you after. It's 50/50 but roar Gryffindor, right?"

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Zeke - spread eagle, launched himself from the tower. Halfway down his voice could be heard, yelling more than actually singing - he couldn't sing, even if he had both feet on the ground.
"I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.... FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FALLLLLLLLLIN----GAH!" Reaching the bottom, he jerked back up. And that was just as amazing as going down. The wind in his hair, in his ears, everywhere, and the castle grounds... and the lake, and the ... well.... okay, granted, he couldn't SEE the moon at the minute, but he was sure that looked pretty too.
Eventually, he bungee returned him to the platform, and the windswept second year, drunk with giddiness stumbled back into the common room, fists raised in triumph!
Toddles has been caught. Yes Toddles has. Toddles faces master and grins yes he does. Toddles knows Toddles did something wrongs. Toddles won't says sorry no he won't. "Toddles takes what Toddles wants." Toddles bites into foods. Foods is goods. Toddles loves treats.

What was not to love? "If you ever need any help or anything you just let me know." Because AJ was a good helper, she was.
She wasn't going to push Mr. Pink Shoes, up or down the stairs. Literally or figuratively. That really wasn't her place. Nope. She had just wanted to let him know. She stepped back off the last step, seeing that the boy really wasn't having any of it, giving him a soft smile. There was still some hope, some that he would take her advice and try things again.
A distraction however, came from a rather chipper greeting behind her. Blinking, Amur turned about and as usual, had to tilt her head up to see who was speaking to her. She didn't know the girl's name, but she decided that on principle of her spry attitude, she liked her. Grinning up at the girl, Amur bobbed her head. "Thanks! I appreciate it, very much."
Did the girl know she'd likely have lots of questions? "I'm Amur Neverwinter." You know, just so she would know who would be a constant pester. And then she was off, greeting left right and center like a free house elf.
SPOILER!!: PP, Zander, his lost chocolate and an elf :)

A glance back up the stairs told her that Mr. Pink Shoes was no where in sight. A sigh dropped her shoulders as she turned fully back to the common room. Oh well. No sense in it spoiling the night.
She caught sight of Puck's grin, but it was only once the words reached her that her cheeks colored. She hadn't intended anyone to hear what she had said to Mr. Pink Shoes. There must have been an echo. After all, the walls were made of stone. Not that it really mattered, the truth was the truth was the truth.
Amur nodded to Puck's words, confirming with a 'he certainly does' as she glanced about the room to see how Prefect Zander was fairing. He had looked rather downtrodden when she had left him at the couches. Now, he was .... Amur did a double take. Was he scolding a house elf?
Standing on her tipie-toes to try and see around the students, Amur blinked, rubbed her eyes and upon seeing the house elf eating the chocolate frog that must have been Zanders, else why would they be as they were, ambled back to the food tables. It was decided. She was going to need a bigger arsenal of chocolate frogs.
SPOILER!!: Choosing Chance :) mention of Zeke

"That was awesome."
Once at the table, Amur glanced up and down it, considering her options. Ultimately the frogs were the best pick. They weren't sticky or bulky and from experience they already fit up her sleeve quite nicely. They would serve in a pinch, and were a much better peace offering than Kleenexes or punching bags.
Gathering up another two more, Amur carefully wrapped them in napkins before beginning to tuck them up her sleeve with the other two. It was upon stuffing the first up her sleeve that she noticed a boy leaning rather casually against the wall, munching away. Errr...she poked the frog up a bit more before pointing at the pumpkin pasties.
"Those are reaaaally super good too." Yup.
Her attention slipped to the window where the first of the first students went, or rather fell, off the balcony his hollering echoing about the room. That did look like fun...but no. She had business to attend to, so she finished stuffing the frogs up her sleeves and grabbed two more from the table.
She. Was. Loaded.
