Oh look help! Hady could hear the younger girl and another Professor calling to them from the top of the landing. Help was always good in a situation such as this. Letting the older Slytherin talk Hady noticed he was still bleeding and quite a lot. That probably wasn't good at all.
Quickly shuffling through her bag again she found what she had been looking for the first time. A dark green handkerchief. Why couldn't she have found that sooner?! Oh well here it was now. Pulling it out she folded it in half then half again a few times until it was a long strip and held it out to Gregoire only to realize he was gone?
Frowning she looked around to see him hurrying back down the steps again. He probably forgot the Professor hurt himself and only just remembered as he gave her instructions to help the Professor upstairs. "Here Gregoire tie this around your finger it might help until we get to the healer." She smiled lightly slipping her arm around the Professor. "Ready Professor? We'll get you to the healer!"
They could do this. If only she knew an easier way. |

Oh hey! Look at that! It was working!
Throwing his head back triumphantly, the astronomer let out a loud mad scientist laugh at the ceiling - and above staircases going to other levels that may or may not be moving at insane speeds. He honestly was not concerned about those at the moment. Especially not now that it seemed as though he had a means to tame them.
"Well done, Miss Lynch, Mr. Bastion," he applauded before pulling himself up off the step and balancing on one foot because OUCH that still smarted! "Each of you take 5 points for your stellar spellwork and assistance!" Because WOOHOO! "No no, two. No need to take me to the healer. Escorting Mr. Bastion there would be best, Miss Lynch. You know what spell will help with the staircases now. Shouldn't be to terrible a journey." Let's not bring Cecelia here, shall we? Woman would probably bring Hello Kitty casts, crutches, and everything else to humiliate the man further. Nope. No thank you.
"PEBBLES!" the man erupted in to joyous song, entirely forgetting about his broken tones. Of course, happy to see you as well, Miss Neverwinter, but PEBBLES! Oh, yes, and you as well, Professor Botros. Hello. Stumbling off the staircase towards the new arrivals, he held his arms out eagerly to have his precious pet returned. "STELLAR JOB, Miss Neverwinter, taking care of Pebbles and NOT abandoning her!" Taking another excited step towards her, and feeling a shooting pain through his entire foot as a reminder of what had occurred a few moments earlier. "And for getting, er, some assistance."
The Runes professor was probably efficient with Episkey, yes? The astronomer let out a few manly whimpers and balanced on his one foot once more.
And could he have Pebbles back? Please? Eager finger wiggling was happening.

Okay, wow, this little lion was such a... well, lion. Botros could see all the Gryffindor traits clearly in her already.
Anyway. Now she was swearing up and down that she wasn't lying about the stairs, and Ab nodded his head reassuringly. Professor Flamsteed must've figured out a way to stop them, look at him run-- no, hop over for his pet rock. "Oh you must be hurting, poor you." Abraham shook his head sympathetically and let the little girl hand Pebbles over, maybe he'd stop crying whimpering then. Botros noticed the two Slytherins helping him over, he must've hurt his leg. "The Healer? Let me take a look at it, I can help too." The healer can come if it was a serious, badly injured. Not only was Botros old enough to know how to heal light injuries, but he'd taken Healing classes back when he was a young man.
"Doesn't look like an open fracture to me, I can fix it." The old man extended his cane for Airey. "Use this for now." A touching moment over here, this was Botros' cane with invisible runes for strength and protection carved all over it (like the rest of his canes, but still).
Now to see the Astronomer's leg before fixing it. Botros bent carefully and lifted Airey's pants' leg, mhmm yeahh. It was fixable. He grabbed his wand tightly and murmured more than one incantation and waved is around Airey's injured leg. | |

Each time the Professor would wince or make a sound when he'd step on his hurt foot Hady would flinch a little. She didn't like seeing others hurt at all. She did her best to help him stay steady for the moment.
Whoa what?! Both her and her fellow Slytherin would be getting five points each for helping! Awesome! "Thank you Professor! I only did what needed to be done but I'm glad I was able to help!" The young snakette beamed proudly. She didn't think she'd done much honestly but she was very happy with it. She'd tried a new spell, had it work and also was helping a Professor and a new friend. Maybe she had done something good. Anyhow she could focus on that on...now to get-
Huh? Professor Airey didn't want to go to the healer? Well why not? And then she realized why not as he made his way up those stairs and to Professor Botros whom gave him some runes and was healing his toes? At least that's what she thought he was doing. Pretty cool really, she'd have to read up on her runes more and really try to understand that lesson better.
Glancing to Gregoire she smiled softly at him. "Would you still like me to accompany you to the healer?" She asked quietly not sure if he'd still want her to go with him or not. Cause well sometimes boys were strange and changed their minds a lot. | |

"HAVEN'T YOU HEARD? I AM THE PARTY!" Amur called back at the boy. She wasn't entirely sure what it meant, but she had heard it used enough times before that it seemed applicable to the situation.
At least, everyone seemed to be okay, as in not irreparably damaged, which made Amur feel a whole lot better. Sure, it meant that she wouldn't get to see Epic Old Professor doing flips and rolls down the stairs to their rescue, but that was okay. Because other people still walking was a good sign. A really good sign.
Except that, one student was bleeding rather profusely and Professor Flamsteed was doing a good deal of limping. She winced as she watched the both of them, but didn't move to help. No, she had to make sure nothing happened to Professor Botros, or Pebbles. Which....
As soon as Professor Flamsteed called out to his pet rock, Amur pulled the little stone free of her shirt. It was like a mother calling to her child, or an owner calling to her pet. She couldn't just not show him that Pebbles was okay, and happy to see him too. Well, the stone looked permanently happy, but that was besides the point. Unwinding the leash from around her neck and shoulders, Amur passed the stone to the Professor as soon as he reached him, right into his grabby hands. But she held onto the other end of the leash, just in case, you know he accidentally dropped the rock in his pain. No letting go, not until this was all over.
She took a small step to the side, still hanging onto Professor Botros' robes and the leash. She had the both of them. As for the two students, Hady looked like she had it taken care of. Amur gave the girl a smile and a firm nod. Good work, good work. She would definitely want the Slytherin on her side should trouble arise.

Airey held especially still as the old man tended to his....er...what was the Runes professor DOING? Blinking and cocking his eyed to the side, the astronomer bit his tongue so as not to say anything to the man. Especially when he began lifting his trouser leg up...it was...er...yes. Just not going to say anything.
"Er...thank you?" he finally manage to spit out. So could he let go of his trousers now? It was really starting to freak the man out. But hey, at least he hadn't seen anything wrong with his leg as well? Poor old bloke was a few elements short of a compound. The astronomer pretended to put his foot down without applying any pressure to it - broken toes and all that making such an act quite difficult.
Snuggling Pebbles against his cheek, the professor cooed and promptly gave her a quick kiss on top of her rocky head. "I don't suppose you have something in your bag of runic tricks to help slow down these staircases? They have positively gone cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs," he asked, still nuzzling his pet rock. "Something to work like one of them muggle elevators maybe? A rune to touch to temporarily slow them down?" Could hardly ask first years to be able to perform Aresto momentum successfully every single time. Even fourth years was pushing things a bit.
Now he wanted some cereal...

As it seemed right then everyone was alright. Professor Airey was nicely healed up and had Pebbles back. Amur was also safe and so was she herself. Since there was nothing left for the young girl to do she gave a soft smile to her Professors and a light wave. "I'm glad you're alright now Professor Airey see you in class."
With that Hady lifted her bag up higher onto her shoulder and made her way down the halls. Where she was going she wasn't sure but she did know it wouldn't be around the stairs for the next day or so. | |
