Hufflepuff Table Welcome back, badgers! Your old house table is just like you remember it. Simple decorations of yellow and black line the center of the table and invite you to sit down and stay a while. Have a seat and enjoy your food! Or maybe have a drink and reminisce with your old housemates. Meet with old friends and new and have a great time under the bright yellow banners hanging proudly above. You'll also find house trophies scattered across the table runner of all the different things your great and loyal house has won over the years. So again, have a seat and reminisce about your school days, and most of all, have fun! |
Eeeeeer....well, now that he thought about it. Maybe coming to the Reunion was a terrible idea. Poor timing, and bad luck on his part....AGH did he take his Potion before coming!?! Did he? Where was the small flask! NO no no, he forgot to wear it! STUPID OAKEY! He sulked onto the Table and flopped his head down. He had something to show just a week ago. Until he decided to quit his job working under the Freelance Curse Breaker Witch who had caused him more Burn Scars then he could count on his Left Arm. So yeah he quit! She was using him as a Toy testing the cursed objects with his luck. Still what was he gonna tell anyone who asks 'Oooh Oakey long time now see!' then they'd turn to a colleague and say 'This guy was a Former Head Boy, I bet he's done so well for himself'...Then THEN the dreaded Question of 'What've you been up too' will occur and Oakey would say 'Well, I'm Married, have Two Kids under the Age of Two, and have no Job to support my Family...' What a Shocker right. He should have just gone on another of his World Trips to Escape this, but the Ariana would kill him for that. Did his Wife follow him over here, or did she stop over at her Former table first? UGH SUUUUuuuuuuuLK |
Oakeeeeey! ^_^ Hogwarts. To Jory, it felt as though he were walking towards his House Table for the first time. Having left Ronnie to catch up with her friends, this was exactly where he was headed to now. It was great to be back here. Memories came flowing back as he surveyed the other Tables. An experiment with an egg, that weird ice cream, his and Gwen's first meeting and time spent with Alyssa, Minerva, Janice, Oakey, Christmas, Alec, Ella and a whole host of others. Speaking of old classmates. Looks like he wasn't the only one at the Hufflepuff table. The man had his head down so there was no way Jory could see the face. "Hi.'' Was this someone he knew? |
Blonde one is with Alec and post for Kita and anyone else! <33 It was strange, being back here. A good strange. She'd missed it but not in the way she'd expected to. Life after Hogwarts had proved exciting and challenging and she'd grown up since graduation. She'd become a godmother and moved in with Alec and her best friend was getting married and life was good. Stressful at times but good. So no, she didn't wish she was still a student here (though that would help her see one Tobias Tempus a lot easier), but she was happy to be back. Giving Alec's hand a squeeze, the blonde peered up at him and smiled. "I should've made you a head boyfriend badge. That much is still the same as far as I'm concerned." Ella's smile widened and then she scanned the table, lacing her fingers through his in the process. It really was good to be back. "Hey, you two." It was nice that more familiar faces were here, one of which belonged to her Oakey Worm. She'd know that head of hair anywhere, just saying. Was he having bad luck already? |
For carpediem and everyone else Nate walked on over to a familiar house table which he hasn't seen in quite a long time. Speaking of familiar things he hasn't seen in a long time, there were a couple of familiar faces already there at the table. Walking over, hand in hand with his wife, Sybill, he guided her over to his friends. Looking at them all he stated "Oakey, Alec, Ella, Jory! Long time no see. How's it going with you all? Meet my wife, Sybill." With a smile from ear to ear, the old badger was glad to be back! So many good, and bad, memories came flooding back. Oh how much he missed this place! Sometimes Nate wished that he could come back here again. He missed all of his old friends. He couldn't wait to hear what the others were up to! It appears that Alec and Ella were dating, got married, or were fiances. By the looks of it, Jory and Oakey were also married, or had a fiance but they weren't here. Hmm. Oh well, he could meet them another time. Right now it was time to catch up with his old friends. |
for anyone! (and Laila :3) "Wow," was the first word out of Fletcher's mouth as he took in the famous Great Hall. This was bringing back so many memories! Most of them were good, a few were painful, but by and large all his thoughts about this place revolved around food. Did Jessa feel the same way? Could they go to the buffet table next? He looked over at his date, his girlfriend (hehe) and then back to the Hufflepuff table. Of course he was going to sit down and inspect all the little awards and plaques they had sitting out. It was just a humble amount compared to some of these tables, hem hem, but Fletcher was looking for a good picture of himself with his long hair... now those were the days..... he started chuckling as he saw a Quidditch plaque. That reminded him of this one time in Flying class.... He looked up and around suddenly, craning his long neck in search of his fellow poor flyer, Salander. Was he here tonight?! |
Anyone? *Finding a seat was a bit harder than he thought it would. But he soon found a long empty section. Maybe he could save a seat for Matty and Marie. Although he doubted that they would near let alone sit with him. That was another bridge that burned. Sadly that was what most of his relationships were. The people in his life were dead or left. This was a time when he really wished Kyle was still alive. The best friend he ever had would get a kick out of this. It was part of the reason he came to the reunion in the first place. They had always joked about going to a reunion and seeing how old all their classmates had gotten and they were right. He had already talked to an old housemate who used to have thick hair and muscles. Now the old housemate of his was fat, bald, and short. Gabben was thankful that he hadn't ended up like that. But then again he liked to stay healthy and not pull his hair out, no matter how crazy his kids made him. At the the thought of his kids he smiled. Pulling out a small picture from his pocket he looked at it. It was of the twins running around playing tag in the garden last summer. The joy from their smiles helped ease his nerves a little. Looking up he saw another old friend and waved.* |
Ella, Alec, Oakey... Guys!!/ Fletcher!! Entering the Great Hall, Kaiden glanced around. It looked... the same as always. Okay, well not exactly the same. It was a mixture of some of those prefect events, and an everyday meal. People were just dressed up more, and well, old, some of them anyways. It was weird, but still, he was glad to see the tables. It was like old times, with less pressure than he had experienced his last few years here. Seeing some familiar faces at the table, the scruffy young man grinned, and headed that way. “Keeper Lady! Seeker Sir! Moose! … Guys!” you know for the others. “...Hey” Emmaleigh walked into the hall, hand resting comfortably in the crook of Sal's arm like normal. When she saw the set up, she stopped dead in her tracks, making her boyfriend stop too. So house tables. They were supposed to sit at their former house tables? That was unexpected. They probably should visit their own tables then. Frowning, she squeezed his arm, and kissed his cheek. Telling him she's see him soon, and headed towards her table to see her former housemates. She was about to say hey to some of the younger puffs she had gone to school with when her eyes fell on someone else. “Fletcher, hi!” she said brightly, grinning because of hero reasons and all. “Is your trophy here?” She asked glancing at the things on the table. It could be, and she wouldn't have any idea. |

She had no idea what her husband was thinking as she took his arm and immediately headed for the Hufflepuff table. She didn't answer his question until she was seated and comfortable. "I'm not sure this dress would allow me to bust out those moves." She was not going to let him know that she was utterly mortified that he had seen her. "But then again, you know the influence Destiny has on me." That girl was crazy. Mia didn't even know if her friend was going to be here tonight. She took a couple of bites of her tartlet and while it was okay, she'd had better. Before taking her next bite she turned to Nik, her eyes dancing with laughter. "This is where we first met. Do you remember the details?" She was sure he would never forget it/ |
*had to stalk the archives* that was embarrassing XD Quote:
For more than one reason, too. He knew that, if she got up on that dance floor, either he was going to have to go up there with her, and the very last thing he wanted to do was have to dance horribly in front of all these people, or, he was going to be stuck at the Hufflepuff table, alone with people he didn't really want to be left alone with. That thought was actually worse than dancing with his wife. At least he liked his wife. His nose wrinkled at the mention of that influence, and after stuffing a few forkfuls of salad into his mouth, he pushed the plate away from him and turned all the way towards Mia. They could get food somewhere else afterwards, right? Right. "How could I forget?" No, really. How could he forget? Because he wanted to. "Something about third world countries, the removal of right arms.. and me needing a Healer." Was that all? Nope. He just wasn't going to bring up anymore. Nik gave Mia a poke in the side before leaning forward to give her cheek a kiss. "You were so mean to me." Hehe. |
Lol, I don't need to stalk *remembers it vividly* Quote:
Mia had actually spotted Destiny at the Gryffindor table. She would have to swing by and say hello later. She would just have to make sure to stay away from the dance floor. "Lilyana likes my crazy dancing." And she was sure that when Dimitri was older, he would love her dancing too. Apparently Nikolai didn't seem to like the food. Maybe she should have let him get the garlic covered food after all. He might have enjoyed it more. She had to put down her fork as she burst out laughing. "You were the one who was being mean." She let out a pretend sniff. "You wouldn't eat my pumpkin pasty." She gave his nose a tweak. "Did I really threaten remove your arm?" She didn't remember that part. |
Quote:
And while Nikolai didn't like dancing himself, mostly because he just couldn't do it and instead of trying to learn, he just wouldn't try, he really enjoyed watching his wife and daughter when they decided to dance together. He didn't know why Mia was always telling him that Lilyana took after him, he couldn't see it. Or maybe he just didn't want to. But he thought she was more like her mother. Which would be a lot better, since he had already known he was mean to Mia when they had first met. Sure, back then he thought it was a good reason to be mean to her, and well.. WELL.. he still wouldn't want a squashed pumpkin pasty from out of her pocket. Nik let out a PRETEND scoff at her PRETEND sniff. "You stuck your finger right into that pumpkin pasty. Not to mention it was squashed in your pocket." He had been HUNGRY. And she was TEASING him with a SQUASHED pumpkin pasty! That was so mean of her. Why were they even talking about this anyway? He didn't like when they talked about their first meeting. Meh. "You didn't threaten to remove my arm." Although, she was probably thinking of it. "You just said those people in the third world countries would give theirs for that pasty. And then.. I kind of told you to give them yours.." All was forgiven, though, RIGHT? |

What in the name of Merlin was he talking about? Mia let out a laugh and she was tempted to throw some lettuce at him. "I did not stick my finger in it." It was true that she had sat on it, but that had been an accident. She had been saving it for later and then totally forgotten it was in there. "Did you ever stop to think that I was trying to get your attention?" And it had certainly worked. How did he remember all this stuff? Sure she remembered offering him the pasty but she could not remember everything that was said. "You always say that you hate the way we met but secretly I think you love it." She leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips. "It was unique." She returned to her salad and picked her way through it. "So how come you never go to your school reunions?" Surely they had them. |
Quote:
She looked at the trophies since her boyfriend (hehe) were checking them out, but they didn't quite impress her as the BIG TROPHY sitting next to her, giggle giggle. Oh she was hilarious. Anyway. Yeah, there were Huffie people around them and she recognized none. Except this one ginger girl greeting her boyfriend. Jessa beamed at her, too. "This girl is talking to you." She nudged Fletcher, waiting to see who she was. She was going to meet ALL of Fletcher's friends today! EEP! ... speaking of, where was Salander? Jessa looked back at the Slytherin table expecting him to be sitting there. |

A lot of better ways. Continuing to talk about this, however, was going to make him put all of his attention on other things instead of his wife. This kiss brought it all back to her, though. Hehe. "I don't know why you would think that." How many times did he mention how he hated it? Sure, they might not have ended up together if things happened differently. But that didn't mean he had to LIKE it. "It was more horrible than unique." And she couldn't get him to think otherwise! Nikolai pulled his plate back in front of him, since watching his wife eat was making him realize that he was still starving, and thinking about what he was going to eat after the reunion, helped him fork a few more mouthfuls into his mouth. It didn't taste as bad anymore, and his shoulders lifted up in a shrug at her question. "If I wanted to see all the people I went to school with, I would've just kept in touch with them." Easy enough. |
All the peeps Min knows XD After the dancing was done or when she forced herself off the dance floor more like it. They made there way over to the refreshments first and then Min turned to Ethan, "Can we stop at my former table first? I know we seemed to always managed to end up at the Claw table, but just this once?" She giggled happily as she kept his hand and made her way over to the house of the badger. Just as she remembered it and it just seemed like no time had passed at all. Seeing Oakey, Ella, Jory, Kaiden, and Nate was just as if she was coming in for a beginning of term feast. "Lighten up Oakey, it's not like there are any plants out to get you." She half chuckled as her and Ethan stopped near the table. "Where is Ariana?" Yeah, yeah Hello's and all that to her best friends husband, but she wanted to see the best friend, no offense. Her head turned as she noticed some empty places, "Does this look okay to sit for a bit?" Smiling towards Ethan, she was so lucky that he just let her do what she wanted most of the time. "Jory, hello" Not much catching up needed here since she was at his house not that long ago, "Where's Ronnie?" Probably the lion table she assumed. "Hi Ella and Alec, how are you two doing?" Then turning towards a person she was super excited to see, "Kaiden!!" He was one that she hadn't seen much of since she graduated. His one visit awhile back was certainly not enough. "How are you?" The old group was almost together, her eyes looked around for a few that were still missing, they were coming weren't they. Seeing Nate she smiled, "Hello Nate, how have you been?" |

Next in line of greetings was his former neighbor, captain, and currently God-Mother to his Daughter. "Ella-Worm, Alec." This time he stood up and moved over to them. "Thank Merlin. You're both here." His eyes darted around the table. Maybe he could just, you know duck behind Alec for the night. He was Tall, and wouldn't mind one bit would he? So that's exactly what he did. He gave a wave to Nate, and looked weirdly at Kaiden, because he was still giving out the wrong position name to Ella, who played Beater more than Keeper while they all played together. |
Mia and BLADGERS I MISS YOU GUYS ;_; As almost anything ever was with Nessie, this felt extremely emotional to her. It wasn't exactly in a negative way yet more in the sense that she felt overwhelmed. It had been-what?- five years now since she graduated? That thought was terrifying as it meant life was just flying by at a flash pace. Although that was why such events were so important to Ness they gave her a sense of pausing and reflecting and she had needed to do that plenty in her life to get to where she was. Thank goodness for her napkin, the red head lightly dabbed at her eyes hoping that nobody had seen that. She was alright, she could present herself, she knew so. She took a breathe took a quick glance at Thomas that was by the food and then made her way towards the table of the house she had so loved. "Um...hey." A small smile surfaced her lips as she reached the table looking at all the familiar faces. It took every bit of strength she had not to get overwhelmed all over again. |
There were even more people arriving. Lots of them proved to be familiar ones too. "Hey, Alec, Ella.'' Jory smiled at the couple. Aw, they were still together. "How have you guys been?" Nate. Jory was less familiar with his former Housemate but he did remember him. And he'd gotten married! "Hi, Nate. Hy, Sybill.'' They looked happy together. "What have you been up to, Nate?" But then his attention was drawn to another arrival of a former Housemate. "Hey, Kaiden. How's it going with you?" There were Min and Ethan, too! "Hey, you two.'' At least he wasn't out of touch with all his friends... "Left Chloe and Gunnar with the grandparents?" Just a random guess there. "Yes, she's catching up with her friends. Probably showing off the engagement ring.'' Ronnie was still on cloud nine from his proposal. Jory now turned his attention to the new arrival. "Hello, Nessie.'' So the guy hiding his face happened to be Oakey. Oakey was someone Jory had totally fell out of touch with after graduating. "Hey, buddy. How's it going?" He wondered if the other guy still thought of himself as unlucky and if he had become a Cure Breaker. Yes, Jory still remembered details about his friends. |

"Emmaleigh!" he greeted his former housemate with a small side-hug. "Hey, how are ya? Oh, Jessa, meet Emmaleigh, Emmaleigh, meet Jessa." If E was here though, then Sal was here... probably. If they were still dating, that was. Right away, this loyal ginger puff brought up his AMAZING trophy and he decided to start looking for that instead. "Ooh, you know, it probably is here somewhere...." Fletcher glanced down the length of the table and thought he saw something big and upright. "I'll be right back," he excused himself from the two ladies. "I just have to go grab this." HIS TROPHY! Which he hadn't seen in years!!! *___* |
anybody Christmas was just walking past the hufflepuff table and she thought she spotted a few familiar faces from the past but whether anyone remembered her was another story it felt weird for her to be back at Hogwarts even if she only graduated a few years ago it was still strange to be back |
Fletcher! We remember youuu <333 Nolan had decided to scope out a seat while his wife, Ginger, was looking at the buffet. Ginger was now expecting their fourth child - if you had told Nolan a few years ago that he would have not one, but FOUR children someday, he wouldn't have believed it. And it sounded like Ginger wasn't going to stop there. At least Scarlett had finally stopped terrorizing her younger brother Clay. In fact, he'd caught them playing the other day...progress! As he sat down at the table, tossing his coat over the chair next to him to save a seat for Ginger, his eyes fell upon...Merlin, was that the young Fletcher boy?! Merlin he had gotten old...but then again, so had Nolan. "Hello Mister Fletcher! How're you doing?" he asked him happily as he sat down. |
Ness and Hi Hufflepuffs ^_^ Isobel felt a lot of emotions when she walked through the doors into Hogwarts, and they only strengthened as she walked into the Great Hall. She had to stop for a moment and look around to get her bearings. This was Hogwarts. This had been her home for so long, and it had been so long since she'd last been there. It felt good to be back. Comfortable. And the memories that washed over her made her smile. All the friends she'd made. Fun they'd had. It was also a bit overwhelming. There were so many people who had graduated before or after her, so there were a lot of people she didn't know. She searched for someone she did know enough to be comfortable around. She decided to make her way to the Hufflepuff table. That seemed like the most likely place to see a familiar face. And if she was going to meet new people they might as well be Hufflepuff. Luckily she recognized a few people. "Hi Nessie. Hi everyone." She smiled at her fellow Hufflepuffs and sat down by the girl. Woman. Look at them, all grown up now. She hadn't seen Ness in a long time, but she did remember hanging out with her a few times during their time at Hogwarts. She'd been close to Damien, hadn't she? |
Anyone Laura Hope Hyde was in the house, well it was actually the great hall, a lot had changed since she had left Hogwarts, she was now a mother with twins and she had won a few horse races before she had to give it up for the moment to look after the babies, though she was hoping to get racing again really soon. "Hi everyone." She smiled as she gave those she knew a quick wave, she looked around and spotted Alec and Ella, she hadn't seen them for a while now, though she had met up with Sophie and Ella not that long ago. |
Oakey, Min, Ella all them.. you know. hi. Somewhere in the hustle and bustle of it all she had lost her husband, which, well, she didn't find very surprising. After taking a glance around the room she spotted a very familiar blonde head and bounced her way to the hufflepuff table. this was cool. She would of loved to have taken the kids here to see it all, Xaria would of loved it but they needed the time away from the babies, she knew that. "Min!" oh... well, that's where he went. She recognized him the moment the group came into a better view. "I've been looking for you." She poked her husband with a carrot stick. "you've drawn quite the crowd." He was popular, see. She told him he had nothing to worry about with this darn thing. "Hi." She waved tothe bgroup hat was formed before nudging her best friend. "left the kids home?" sad. she loved those kids. they needed to play date soon. "Ella, you look cute." Polka dots looked well on her. and you know, everyone else but she didn't really care for anyone else, not really. |
