After the private discussion with Kace and Dylan, Lux made her way back to the Common Room and was happy to see that not only Adi and Hugglepuff were there, but also a house elf.

"Hello, guys!" she said to her two friends before giving them both HUGS! "And hello to you too," she said to the little house elf with a smile while figuring that hugging him randomly might not be the best idea when he didn't really know her. It dawned on her then that he was one of the elves who had made her the sandwiches recently. "I like your sandwiches. They are really good."

THERE WAS FUDGE!!!

Eyes widening, Lux stared at it. "Can I have some too?" The elf had more, right?

Adi turned to look at Lux as she joined them. She was one if his most favourite persons at Hogwarts and probably his favourite Hufflepuff... besides Professor Hadley... whom he missed so much.

Anywho.

"Hey, Lady of the Cucumbers Lux.'' Hehe. What a combination of names there. "I'm sure Tippin wouldn't mind. There are cookies too.'' Adi held up his handful to show his friends. "They're really good.'' Of course they were. They were made by the elves after all.

Margo was excited for the latest news she had received. She couldn't have asked for anything better really. Life at Hogwarts was great, she was having a blast! Smiling with a little gift bag in her hand, that held treats. A couple chocolate frogs, a licorice wand, a pumpkin pastry, and a small box of Bertie's Every Flavor beans. It was a just a little something. She was so happy.

Margo scanned the common room looking to see if he was in here......smiling she quietly placed the small gift bag on the table. The tag read..

And Margo went to sit in the arm chairs by the fire waiting...

Kace just woke up from a nice nap he had. He stayed up a little late talking to his girlfriend and he was so comfortable in his bed he decided to catch up on a few hours. As he walked down the stairs and went to his lovely common room. He always found it nice and cozy. He plopped down on his favorite chair and when he looked over on the end table, he noticed a little package with his name on it.

He gave the package a quizzical look and he wondered who it could have been from? He was surprised and flattered to say the least. He grinned and wished to thank the person who did this. He began to search the bag and it was all his favorite candies and treats. He loved it and he began to snack on the pumpkin pastry because those were his favorites. Kudos to the person who gave him candy when he was hungry.

Margo smiled as soon as she saw Kace grab the bag, good step one done! Margo jumped up from her chair and came over. "Hey Kace!" She said plopping down next to him. Margo hadn't really had a chance to talk to him since the tree house the other day. It was really nice to sit down and chit chat for a minuets. "How about that last chars lesson. I don't think I've ever seen a Professor so angry." Margo said thinking of all the points lost and detentions earned. "At least Hufflepuff didn't loose any points there!" Margo said thinking they were in the lead for now.

"Who are your treats from?" Margo asked eyeing the gift bag that they came in. She hoped her blush wouldn't give her away.

As Kace was busying himself looking through the treats he heard a familiar voice. He turned around and noticed it was Margo. He gulped down his pumpkin pasty and said, "Oh hey Margo." he greeted her and she plopped down right on the comfy couch. These couches were quite comfy. Onto that charms lesson, "Yeah that was intense. I don't think I have ever seen a charms professor that stressed or give that many detentions." he smirked. In fact he never seen that before. It was totally new to him. "Yeah we puffs stayed cleared though I almost broke a jar I hastened to add." he grinned sheepishly. His secret was out.

Now she asked about the treats and he looked down and examined the bag. "You know I do not know. They were just randomly placed it. I mean it was a nice thing for the person to do. I thank the kind soul who did this." he smiled. He had one idea maybe Emmy could have done this. I mean she was a sugar addict.

Good, he didn't notice her blushing.....she was in the clear for now. "Yeah, I tipped my over the first time too, no breaking, just a noise, and you know how he hates noise!" Margo said giggling, no need to mention she starting practicing before they had permission to! At least Adi got her out of that one! The Charms Professor didn't even say anything about that.

"Yeah, that is pretty nice of someone to do!" Not to toot her own horn but 'toot toot' Margo started to giggle a little bit, hopefully Kace didn't think she was nuts. "So not all classes are that intense?" Margo asked, thinking she wasn't sure she'd be able to handle that full time.

Kace nodded and didn't know how he felt about this new professor yet. I mean it seemed like all the houses didn't approve of him. For a first lesson they gave him a hard time. "I mean for a first lesson that will be something he will remember. I even pet the teacher since he was the cat. How awkward was that?" he said kind of creeped out. He would have liked a warning or something. "Yeah it is really is. I mean I am a sucker for candies anyways. So kudos to the person who knows me well." he grinned and popped a bean into his mouth.

EEERRGHHHH!!!!!!


He got Earwax. He spit it out and walked over to get water. "Well that bean was disgusting..." he said eyeing the trash can he spit into. Now onto the classes, "Nah not all classes are intense. I mean beware Transfiguration could be the same way because Bellaire shows no mercy or favoritism." he just warned the firstie is all. "She values manners over everything else." he told her sternly.

"I know!!! I wanted to pet 'him' to before class started! Creepy!" Margo said giggling, she thought it would be awesome to become a cat, she loved them!!!! "Well we will have to see how the rest of the year goes with him, I'm holding judgment just yet" Margo said smiling

She readjusted herself in the chair tucking her legs underneath her. "Oh Dear Merlin!! Now I'm going to be terrified of Transfiguration!" Margo said thinking maybe she's just skive off a few of those lessons, I mean she had manners, but sometimes her excitement got the best of her. "Some of those beans are pretty bad!" Margo said giggling again when Kace had gotten a rotten one.

"At least I am not the only one." he grinned. "It just felt creepy because you know it is just different like petting a teacher you know?" he said trying to think about it but the more he did the more creeped out he got. He shook his head and nodded and agreed. "Yeah I should do the same. I will hold my judgement till the last lesson then I will have my opinion." He just wanted to give the Professor a chance and see what he was made of.

"Oh no no don't be afraid!" he told Margo hastily. "I meant to say just be cautious. She can be really strict, so just be polite and don't really screw up." he shrugged trying to give the best advice. Now onto the earwax bean. "Yeah I know what you mean.." he said trying to get the taste out of his mouth. "That was nasty you know?" he made a face and now was put off from trying them now. He had a cauldron cake instead. "Want a candy?" he offered.

So now would be a good time to get some studying done. But sitting somewhere wasting time sounded like a much better idea! The common room was actually fairly crowded. Everyone was very much into their own stories, situations and what, making sure to use LOUD voices at times.

Damien never really spoke up to get anyone's attention. He would speak if spoken to.

He wandered over to a spot to drop his messenger bag before sitting down. He didn't mean to eavesdrop on conversations, but sometimes it was just too easy to do so.

"Maybe I should introduce him to my kitten! Maybe he'd be happier!" Margo teased about the Charms professor. He was a little scary, but who knows, those students had set him off. "I'm sure I'll be okay in Transfiguration. Margo said it out loud more to reassure herself than anything. Margo still wasn't sure she could do this!

"I got vomit flavored one once." Margo said scrunching up her nose remember that disgusting flavor. It was not an experience that she wanted to have again, but Margo still did love the challenge of finding a good one. And then Kace had offered her a candy. "I'll try a bean!" Margo said bravely placing her hand into the box and pulling out a reddish pinky one. Crossing her fingers Margo popped it into her mouth.....and yummy! "Yum, Strawberry!" Margo said smiling, good she survived this encounter intact. Margo giggled.

Kace laughed and agreed with Margo's idea. Something tells him the charms professor wouldn't like the idea but hey he wasn't gonna judge. Let's try it out. "I am sure you will be okay. Just keep my hints in mind about Bellaire and you will be fine." he told her seriously. He didn't want her to lose points. Ewww she got a vomit flavored one? He made a disgusted face and shook his head. "I would never want that." he scrunched his nose at the same time she did.

As Kace offered her some candy, she reached into the Bertie's Botts beans and pulled out a Strawberry one. He grunted and said, "Lucky you...I got soo lucky the first time I got Earwax thinking it was popcorn or something." he placed his candy bag near the side of his chair. He just relaxed near the fireplace. This was too comfy he was beginning to doze off.

Margo couldn't help but smile at Kace, he was starting to dose of in his arm chair. He was sorta cute like that....wait what......jeepers, boys were icky! Margo did not need to be thinking such silly things like 'boys were cute'!

Plus Kace had a girlfriend that he seemed perfectly happy with....oh Dear Merlin Margo!! Stop thinking!!!! Lost her in own thoughts, Margo turned to Kace. "I'll let you take a nap" She whispered in case he was already and asleep and began to slowly slip away to get started on some homework, she needed to work on.

Snort. Adi's spur of the moment nickname was cute. She didn't mind friends referring to her by 'cucumber' nicknames so long as it wasn't left at that; she didn't like anyone besides Bay calling her Cucumber even though she didn't comment on it aloud when it happened.

"I would love some cookies too," she said with a smile. "So how are you, Adi?" Hopefully well. "You studying hard for the tests? We could cram some time in together if you want." Like whenever he was up to it since he DID have a life outside of school work and Prefect duties. "And we should hang out together more this term." Yep. Adi was one of the best friends she had at Hogwarts; he was always so nice and helpful.

Okay... so nicknames were so his thing! Yep, except when he had to squash more than one names together. Meh. "You'll get fat, Lux,'' Adi kidded. Nah. He doubted that. She took care of herself.

"I'm okay...ish.'' Besides his little misunderstanding with AJ things were great. And she would come around soon, yeah? No need for him to worry. Little did he know this would last for weeks...

"How about you? And Bay? I'm sure you've heard from him everyday.'' Because the two had been inseparable all the time while at Hogwarts. "Haven't gotten around to studying much as yet,'' he admitted sheepishly. "But we can cram together. We can cram the theory part of Divination. Or we can practice using crystal balls or something.''

"We should.'' Adi smiled. "And we should do something other than studying.'' Like having a snowball fight when winter got there.

She'd get fat, huh? Adi was lucky that she loved him and got that it was a joke. Otherwise she would have poked him. "But cookies are soooo good!" Everyone loved cookies and the people who said they didn't were just fooling themselves.

Okayish didn't sound too good, especially for a Puffer like Adi who was always so cheerful. "What's wrong?" she asked, starting to feel concerned. Because this was WEIRD. "Oh, yeah! I still talk to him with the mirrors. I'm so excited to see him again during the Christmas holidays." They couldn't get there soon enough in her opinion.

It was okay that he didn't get much cram time in. "That sounds like a good idea to me! And you might have an easier time, because I've studied so much I'm starting to worry I will forget everything." Add to the fact that she was doing other things besides study and class work, she might collapse before term ends. She liked being busy though, and the distractions helped her cope with missing Bay so much.

Yaaay, they would hang out more. "Snowball fight!!!" Hehe.

"They are. But they come in second best to Chocolate Frogs,'' Adi said with a slight wriggle of his eyebrows. There was nothing that could beat Froggies.

See... the minute something was wrong with him everyone knew because he was always so bubbly. Adi considered shrugging it off but this was Lux, not just anyone. "Fight with AJ,'' was all he mumbled.

Aw look at Lux, so excited to be with Bay again. "Bet the Christmas holidays can't get here soon enough for you. How is Bay enjoying life out of Hogwarts?'' Maybe it wasn't that good since he was away from Lux.

How did she know what he was thinking? "You read my mind. I'll make a huge snow fort so you wouldn't be able to get me, Lux.''

Adi certainly had that right. Chocolate Frogs were the best candy ever as well as the best ice cream flavour. "Yes, and s'mores are pretty awesome too!" Yum, now she wanted some s'mores.

Ah, of course. The AJ thing. Lux could remember talking to the Third Year about that recently. How sad for her friends and she really hoped things would work out soon. "I'm sure you two will get through it stronger than ever." Yep. She was willing to bet on it judging by how strong their relationship was.

"Oh, yes. I won't want to go back to school after." But she had no choice if she wanted to finish her education and become a Potioneer. "He's relaxing which is really good because he deserves it. But he misses me and his friends." Come summer hopefully he would be able to see everyone. She knew he would definitely be seeing her because she just couldn't stay away.

Hehe, snowball fight. "There will be no hiding from my snowballs." Pfft.

Kace decided it was time to give his badger buddy a gift. He grinned and thought she might like it. He got her some candy like bertie botts, pumpkin pasties and cauldron cakes. He also made her a drawing showing some hufflepuff pride. He hoped she would like the drawing. He even made a note that said,

After placing the gift on the coffee table, he sat by his favorite arm chair and waited to see her reaction. He began doodling and pretended like he didn't know anything.

Hayden climbed through the portrait hole with a traveling thermos of coffee in her hand. She was planning on spending the rest of the day finishing the rest of her homework. She had actually been making good progress on it. The practical portion, at least. All she had to do to finish was the essays.

She was walking through the common room on the way to her dormitory to get her books when she spotted something. Hayden approached the pile of sweets with interest. It only took her a second to spot the note by the pile. THEY WERE FOR HER? YES! Hayden couldn't stop herself from hopping once, just a little. She was very excited. Sweets were some of her favorite things.

Hayden wondered how long they had been there. If they had been put there recently, her buddy would still be around. She glanced around, attempting to be inconspicuous but probably not succeeding, hoping to spot someone who looked suspicious. Unfortunately for her, there were too many people around for her to pick out one specific person. But that was okay. She liked the excitement of not knowing who her buddy was, and she was fine with that staying secret for now. She gathered up the sweets and continued on to her dormitory, with a small smile resting on her face.

Lux had a sweet tooth. Like he always did whenever he found out something about his friends, he stored the information in his head. You never knew when it might come in useful. "I haven't had that in a while and I sure could do with a few right now. And the whole camping experience again.'' Camping was something he hadn't done in a long time.

"Did you talk to her anytime?" Adi asked. He knew AJ and Lux were friends. Surely Lux would have noticed something off with her and maybe she might have been confided in. Unless AJ told one or both of her sisters instead. "I hope so. I tried to talk to her but she's still mad at me.''

"Are going to go see him during the Christmas holidays?" Adi wondered to his friend. Or would she wait until summer? "This has me thinking about when I graduate. AJ will still be here.'' Meaning, he wouldn't be able to see her so much. How depressing.

The boy grinned. "Are you going to charms the snow balls to find me?"

Adi hadn't eaten s'mores in a while? That was sad. Lux found s'mores to be one of her favourite snacks because it combined both chocolate and marshmallows which were amazing on their own, and even better when put together. "I heard about something called s'mores in a cup and I so want to try it." That was one date idea to store away for the future. Maybe her and Bay could make them over the Christmas holidays!

At the question of if she had talked to AJ, Lux nodded. She did not want to tell him that AJ had started to cry, both because AJ wouldn't want to appear weak and Adi would feel bad if he knew. "I'm sure she will be willing to talk to you soon. If you are mad at someone you love, the feeling doesn't remain for long." Or so she thought. It made sense to her at least.

"I'll definitely see him over Christmas, but I am also going to see see my family." She was so looking forward to it. Normally she'd ask him if he was planning to visit with AJ, but decided not to since they were still off with each other. His next comment had her feeling a little bad. "I'm sure you guys will make it through those two years." They had what it took to weather all the storms, though there were certain couples at Hogwarts she didn't feel that way about in all honesty.

Hehehe. "Maybe I will. They'd follow you and BAM you're hit." Of course she was only being silly with him but it was fun to picture that in her head.

S'mores in a cup? Now, Adi had no idea what that was all about but he was game to try it. "Do you know how to make it?" he asked. "If you do, maybe we could take a trip to the Kitchen sometime and make some for ourselves. And AJ too.'' Since she loved sweets as much as he did.

Adi smiled. He was feeling better and he told Lux this. But he still felt guilty for loosing his cool on AJ. Ugh! At least he learn this lesson. "I guess so. I know she loves me so she'll come around soon enough." He was confident but little did he know that his girlfriend's stubbornness would get the best of her. "Have you and Bay ever fought?" Most if not all couples did do that once in a while.

"Have fun.'' Family thought made him realise something. "I don't know much about your family. Are you an only child?'' It was better to be late than never knowing about his friend's life, yes? "I'm sure too. On the bright side, she'll be starting college while I'm still there so we'll be studying together again.'' That was something to look forward to. Yep!

"No fair. You'll bury me in snow in no time.'' Hehe. The fifth year pretended to sulk.

S'mores in a cup sounded yummy to everyone so of course Adi would want to try it too. "I can't remember," she admitted though it probably wouldn't be too hard to figure out. If nothing else she could look for another recipe. "Yeah, that would be loads of fun!" And she'd definitely do it with Bay too.

She smiled when he said that AJ loved him. Of course she did; that much was obvious to anyone the same way that it was obvious that he loved her. Had she ever fought with Bay? For some reason SH hadn't expected that question but she didn't mind answering. "Nope. We've never been mad at each other. Though he did avoid me for a little after I kissed Louis and I thought he was mad at me, but he wasn't." That had been a relief, because she never wanted him mad at her.

She definitely would have fun, that was for sure. "I have a brother and sister. What about you?" It was nice to learn more about friends and better late than never. "What you planning to do for Christmas?" It was to hear him being optimistic. "Exactly. It can be hard, but it's so worth the wait." Nod.

SNORT. "Then I could turn you into a snowman." She was so silly.
