| | Honeydukes Candy Shop
Honeydukes is the greatest (and only) candy shop in Hogsmeade. They're world renowned for their famous fudge, but there are lots of other treats too.

It seemed like Hady was pretty much finished with her candy shopping too. Janelle headed toward the counter as they continued to talk. Since they were both in agreement, Zonko's would be their next stop. Janelle was already looking forward to browsing through the Joke Shop.
"So green's your favorite color? I like blue best, but green's pretty cool too.". Anything, but pink. Janelle didn't think she would ever like that color. Just 'cause......nope, never. Of course she wasn't totally against looking nice. It's just that her idea of looking nice tended to differ from others'. If people didn't get her style, well......too bad for them.
As Janelle put her goodies on the counter, she heard what she and Hady had in common. "Wow, no kidding? I'm glad to know that I'm not alone. Where are you from?" Janelle thought she was the only half blood living in the muggle world. She wasn't sure why she thought that, but it was nice to know there were others like her. Hady would understand.
Janelle paid for her items and waited for Hady to do the same. When they were all done, she turned to her friend. "Ready? Shall we head over to Zonko's now?". As she asked the question, Janelle started to move toward the exit. She could cross one thing off her Hogsmeade to do list. Now it was off to the next adventure.
Hady gave a nod of her head. "Yeah green has always been my favorite since I was really young, it's not just cause I'm in Slytherin." She laughed softly. Most people assumed that's why she liked the color but it wasn't so. She just happened to like that color and not the more 'girly' colors like some girls.
Following Janelle she moved to take her place behind the younger girl in line. "Nope not at all. Most things I learned how to do was always the muggle way first." Her parents wanted her to learn to do things both way so she'd be able to adapt and fit in easily wherever they went. It's not like she wouldn't have had to learn the muggle way seeing as she went to a muggle school before and everything. "We live in New York but I was actually born in Ireland. What about you?"
When it was her turn she paid for her items and took her bag walking over to Janelle and out the door. "Yeah lets go!" Hady was more then ready to continue to their next stop. |

"I'm spending pretty much all my pocket money on these! I love it!" Margo told him, thinking her mother probably wouldn't approve of how much money she was spending, but her mother wasn't here! "What did you all get for Christmas?" Margo asked, seeing as it wasn't that far away was it? Margo couldn't even remember the date. Ok, she was loosening up, that was good. Caleb didn't want to end up becoming the FEARED prefect who was boring and scary and no one wanted to talk to out of fear of losing house points or something. "Jelly slugs, definitely," he told her with a smile, pointing to the few bags he had smashed in his left hand. "My dad got me started on them early," he added with a smile. Good old Dad, passing along his sugar addicted habits at an early age...
He chuckled. Typical firstie. "Just don't spend all your money in one place! You'll want to stop by Madame Puddifoots, they have great crumpets and biscuits...and the joke shop of course, although as a prefect I probably shouldn't be encouraging that..." he added as an afterthought. Whoops. Well, if some shenanigans went on in the near future, he'd know who to blame now...
He chuckled. WOW. Super excitement in this one. Typical Hufflepuff, really. "I wanted another dog but my mum said no. So I just got some books, some broom polish...some comics to distract me from OWL studying," he said with a shrug. The usual stuff, yeah?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Evangeline Whitlock Slytherin First Year | Up for grabs
Austin walked into his recent favorite shop with a mission in mind. He had met an awesome girl at the ball, and ended up eating her Sugared Quills. It wasn't entirely his fault though, he did warn her. All she had to do was stop waving those things around in his face, and he wouldn't have eaten them. But she had to, so he had to eat them. But that was alright, he figured he would pick up some candy for himself, and maybe for Ophelia as well. That was if he wasn't still mad at her. To be honest he couldn't figure out how he felt. On one hand he was upset that she didn't show. He had spent a good portion of the night waiting and looking for her. Sure, there was a spell that made sure no one could recognize anyone. But Austin was calling out her name for crying out loud. He even enlisted the help of the Sugar Quilled girl to help. If she were there, they would have found her. But it wasn't entirely her fault. She was still hung up on the events that happened with Gregoire, so Austin didn't really expect her to go. It just would have been nice.
He sighed and walked around the shop, looking for the Quills.
