Amidst the autumnal decor of glowing candles and illuminated pumpkins lay breadth of a great feast. Mouth watering aromas from hearty stews and savory dishes waft through the air, with glistening glasses of drinks perched along the sides of the buffet, an easy reach for those parched from all the catching up with former schoolmates. At the center of this spread is a majestic centerpiece of a cake, a sprawling replica of Hogwarts in spring, harking to the memories of their youth.
Changing her hair color to the darker blue, Annabelle crossed her hands, and gave a reserved smile at Whitney. "Yes, I've had to go through several jobs, and sadly several break ups as well. But, let's not focus on the negatives. Tonight we're here to focus on the positives and meet old friends, and make new ones. So right now I'm currently applying for a job at the ministry, and I'm engaged." She replied happily to her while pointing at the ring on her finger.
Taking another sip at her drink, she laughed a bit at what the former Slytherin had to say. "Believe me, Whit, I would teach you if I could, but you must be born a metamorphmagus. As my mother always told me though, being one is both a blessing and a curse." Annabelle told her friend as she fixed her hair. To be honest, it was more of a blessing though. She could always have a different color hair if she wanted to. If she wanted to become an Auror, she would most likely pass her disguise marks. She could always look young if she wanted too as well.
So it was more of a blessing than a curse. But still...

Not much had changed over twelve years then. Ahem.
Oliver sidled up to the buffet and eyed the drinks, selecting a pink coloured one complete with mini umbrella. Hehe. Oh and would you look at that! A mini Hogwarts INSIDE Hogwarts! Whoever came up with this idea was a true visionary. *snort* Wait. Was it a cake? Wooah. Too much time and effort had gone into that to simply EAT it. Surely.
He turned to his date for this evening. Both of their respective other halves weren't able to attend. He sipped his drink. “You should think yourself lucky, Clumsy. I'm usually really picky about who I date. Maybe we could tell people you won a competition.” Y'know.. to date a celeb.
Rhea was eyeing the food spread on the table wondering which ones would be most healthy to eat. She had talked herself into letting go and just eating whatever but her more rational side won out in the end.
Though not totally.....
She eyed her date for the evening as he grabbed the sugar laden drink from the table. The mom of three shook her head at him and tsked. "You're going to be bouncing off the walls any minute now."
Rhea rolled her eyes at Oliver's comment. "Oh shut your face mop head. I'm doing you a favour being your date tonight." So he was the lucky one. She reached for a drink and accidentally knocked a pitcher over....whoops....yeah that wasn't her!

Max looked around the Buffet, Anyone he knew? It wasn't like he had a lot of friends from Hogwarts, besides Min who he didn't really talk to and Ari who was basically the same. He married his only Hogwarts friend.
But this was important to her. He took the day off to be here for her. He figured he kinda owed her for this whole kid thing. That probably isn't how it works but whatever.
"See anything you want to eat, Empress?" Max asked Elliot, Happy to grab her whatever she needed. Since Felix was born he'd been taking care of her as much as he could. He was a bit worried he was getting annoying?

Elliot felt like....a million galleons. Probably more. She was walking in HEELS and she looked almost back in her usual SHAPE and this was just--she felt really happy. Her grey-blue eyes traced across the room for familiar faces. Sophie...Ari? Min? Bee? She was really hoping to see Bee...she hadn't heard from her friend in ages.
She had a feeling Rora wasn't coming. It felt...kind of weird without her, but Elliot figured at least she had Max. Clinging to him, she eyed all of the food. Her cravings had been so...odd lately. After having Felix..her tastes were slowly returning to normal. She missed her baby.
A lot.
This was the first time she'd been somewhere without him, and she was..unusually worried. "I don't want anything." She said, though her stomach gave a big GROWL in that moment. Mehh. Max would be able to tell she was lying anyways.
But how could she EAT? Felix might be crying right now--screaming--he had gotten antsy with Helen when she and Max were about to leave--

Kyle glanced up at the girl next to her and grinned awkwardly. Yep, she hadn’t been talking to herself and this well made that VERY true…hello talking companion. “Really its that good, when I was here I was so shy that I mainly stuck to the rather bland stuff really…” she laughed, “but thank you for the advice, I’m Kyleigh by the way, Kyleigh Tanner” she grinned at the only slightly younger girl.
“What year did you graduate?” She asked kindly, as the girl seemed nice enough and she even took her advice and grabbed the alfredo because she had been asking for advice hadn’t she?
Emmaleigh grinned at the girl. She was nice. "So being shy means you only ate the boring food? Awwww, thats a shame, you really missed out, but you should definately make ups for it now." Yep, yep. she nodded. "Kyleigh?" she reached out her hand for a shake. "Hey, you look familiar, have we met before?" a memory of the last reunion came to mind. Back when she was just really getting to know Sal. "Wait, are you the pirate girl?"
"2079, and Hufflepuff." Which was obvious concidering her attire. "How about you?" As soon as Kyleigh got her food, did the same, getting an extra large helping, for sharing. Although, the always hungry girl could could have eaten it all, but not today. Today she needed two forks, where were they anyways?
Jade Skidmoore was absolutely dreading and looking forward to this reunion. Dreading it because she graduated for a reason, to leave the people, but looking forward to it so she could see how ugly everyone got. Except her. She was gorgeous and she knew it.
She clutched onto Nikolas' arm as she walked in her tall hot pink high heels. Sure she had worn many heels because of the modeling, but she was still just a little clumsy at times. "As long as we don't see the evil one, Selena, I'll be perfectly fine." She nodded, looking around to see if she could find her. Luckily she couldn't see her and she kept on walking. "How about we get a drink, Nik? I'm thirsty from walking around." She laughed a little and pulled him towards the table without hearing his response.
She grabbed one of the cute glasses with what seemed like sugar along the rim of it and took a couple of sips. "Marie is coming right? Do you think she'll bring anyone?" She asked, taking a hold of his hand.
Hogwarts, people! Yesss, back to where everything started and nothing had changed except for the professors.
Nikolas felt nostalgic when he walked through the entrance. Good old times. He couldn't help but to chuckle at Jade's comment, "Well, I think you won't have to worry, maybe she isn't coming" shrugged and kept walking looking around for a familiar face. Hmm...disappointing.
Out of nowhere, he was being dragged to the table. "Of course, Jade, I do want a drink" not that she waited for him to answer. Anyways, he grabbed anything, he just wanted a sip. "I think so. She might bring her husband and where was Emma? Probably not coming. What a shame.

Max raised an eyebrow because he knew better than to believe she wasn't Hungry and then her stomach growling on que. Hmm.
"Elliot, Felix is fine. Helen and Dad are taking good care of him. You know i'm right, now what do you want?" This was their first No Kids outing since the baby. He wanted everything to go fine.
Maybe he was just used to this, He remembered feeling the same way about Hudson, but he trusted his father and knew his son was fine. He wanted to have fun tonight.

Elliot made a face at her husband. "I know that, Maxwell--" she said sharply, not exactly AT him--but her tone was clearly sharp. She did rub her tummy, though, and met his gaze. "Fine. I'll eat. What do they even have?" She asked in a SNOOTY voice.
It was a Hogwarts' event. Elliot didn't expect anything great. In fact, she expected mediocre food at best.
Glancing down the table, her face shrank into an..unsatisfied grimace. "Is there anywhere we get Robbly to bring us food? And WHERE is Hannah Lockwood? That witch said she was coming." SHe said haughtily.
Witch.
Right.

Max sighed a little at her tone. He was trying to help her. Mehh meh meh meh. She liked to be difficult. But he also kind of loved her difficulty. She was something else.
"I don't know, look around. There has to be something you want." He didn't know, he started looking over the table. What did she even like to eat? He could hardly tell anymore.. Her tastes kept changing.
"We're not calling Robbly and I'm not sure where Hannah and her Husband are. But you need to find something to eat." He was trying not to get annoyed with her... He took a deep breath and was calm.

Now she'd just have to hope someone she knew was actually there. She'd lost touch with everyone she'd ever spoken to but that didn't mean she didn't want to see them here and now!
Making her way to the buffet, as any smart person would do, she looked around for any familiar faces. None yet.
Aaah, Hogwarts. It was great to be back after all these years though Torin didn't really want to dwell on it much because it made him feel really OLD. Whatever. He was excited to be here because it was a great opportunity to catch up with people he hadn't seen in a while as well as people he still saw regularly.
Scanning the room, he was pleased to spot Whit. Even though he still saw her, there was nothing wrong with stopping over to chat with an old friend. Quietly he sneaked up on her before calling out "BOO!" in her ear.

After the long day of arranging babysitters, cooking extra food, and then getting ready for the night of the reunion, Marie took her first steps into the Great Hall that once saw her start and end three terms, that just contained too many memories, and the many tears that had been shed when people graduated in her years. She took a deep breath, looked around and glanced at a couple, her friends: Jade and Nikolas. Honestly, she thought that they had eloped or something, BUT NO, they would have told her, right? Because Marie was their best friend!
A quick smile spread across her face as she walked toward them, in the most suble and silent way, as they spoke maybe about her? Then she stepped right behind them, as they were choosing their drinks. She cleared her voice, then stepped in the middle of them, "Oh, excuse me, I'd like some of this puffy butterbeer." Because she was craving that. Along with those cupcakes on the next table.

Miles was on a mission to get food for his very pregnant Fia. As he approached the table he spotted one of his best friends and he grinned. "TORIN!" He walked up and gave his friend a hug.
Sure he still talked to him but he didn't get to see him very often unfortunately. "I didn't know you were coming." Probably a good thing because he wouldn't have been surprised otherwise.

She was about to ask Nikolas about Marie when someone had stepped right in between them asking for a puffy butterbeer. "Excuse me-Marie!!" Jade said, going from rude to excited in a split second. She hugged her best friend with a smile planted on her face. She hadn't seen Marie in months and now that she was on break she could finally see her.
"You've met my NOT fiance, right?" Jade whispered loudly to Marie and then gave a smirk over at Nikolas just in case he heard her. Did she want to be engaged right now? Yes. Most certainly and she would give all of the hints to Nikolas as much as she could.

Was karma out to get him for sneaking up on Whit? Because as soon as he had uttered 'BOO' in her ear someone had come up behind him and gave him a hug. That was never a bad thing, but it gave him a heart attack since he had not been expecting it.
"Hey, Miles! Good to see you, buddy." He was so happy to be here. "I was going to tell you, but I decided to surprise you...so surprise!" Turned out that Miles had surprised him as well, so what do you know. "How's Fia doing? Is she here?" He began looking around the room in hopes of finding her.

He bit into whatever was on top and grinned at Elizabeth. "Doesn't this bring back memories..." he said looking around and smiled. Both good and bad memories but thankfully mostly good. He hadn't heard from the two who caused the bad in years and that was just fine with him.
He looked back at her and leaned down to kiss her cheek. "Pretty soon we'll feel really old." Unfortunately he couldn't stop the kid from aging to he had resorted to pretending it wasn't happening. "Wonder if she'd be a Ravenclaw...two Ravenclaw parents...probably a good chance."
He watched her grab a scone and smiled, "You see anyone else here?" He didn't think he knew anyone here. Meh, oh well. He came mostly to hang out with Elizabeth anyway. He didn't get to spend much time with her during season so he made up for it by spending as much as he could with her in off season. Recently he'd been thinking of retiring but he wasn't ready to bring up THAT conversation yet.
She’d known he would have laughed off her teasing, and that was exactly why Elizabeth liked to do it. It seemed like she was always teasing Robert about what he ate, anyway, as she remembered conversations about gummy bears from way back when. And it wasn’t as if he didn’t have plenty of space for it all to go, more than she did anyhow. The advantage of being a giant, compared to her petiteness. She’d nibbled on the scone as he’d responded, though, before returning the grin. “Oh, I know,” she replied, keeping the comment vague as to which part of his statement she was responding to. It worked for most of it, after all. She knew he could work the calories off, and she knew being back here brought back memories.
She’d smiled again as he’d leaned down to kiss her cheek, before laughing a little at what he’d said next. “I think there are still people here who could keep us from thinking that,” she pointed out. There had to be plenty of people here who were older than they were, after all. He’d be able to notice them much easier than she would, though, even while wearing heels. She’d glanced up at him again as he’d started speaking about wondering if people would be sorted into Ravenclaw, too, surprised since she’d been thinking about Dylan before but hadn’t actually said anything. Of course, it had always seemed like he could read her mind. “Won’t be long until we find out for sure,” she commented. Thinking about Dylan going to Hogwarts was what made her feel old. Only a year to go before that happened.
She’d broken off another piece of her scone as he’d gone back to musing about things, still thinking about their daughter being almost old enough to go to Hogwarts, but she shrugged when he’d voiced his question. “I haven’t seen anyone, unless you count Rhiannon and Alex,” she replied. “I think you’d see anyone long before I did anyway,” she added with a grin. The height thing again. It was too easy when it came to him, but she was okay with it. He was her giant, anyway, no matter how much Quidditch took him away. He always came back, and now they were back at Hogwarts together. She hoped there wouldn’t be any mermaid invasions or anything.

She was happy that she was here with Oliver though if she didn't get to share this with Dylan. She always had fun with her friend even though he was borderline crazy.

Pffft. No three year old would not deliver that 'puh-leasze' with as much flat sarcasm as Oliver Greenwood could. “Are you going to inform Cam that she's a cradle snatcher, or am I?” *smirky*
Ahh.. So pretty much the same as with Cam. Black and yellow? Oliver pulled a disgusted face as he casually cleaned up Rhea's mess of earlier. It was so nonchalant.. as if he often followed Rhea around just cleaning up her accidents after her.
He liked the jig though.. which he copied. “Someone's in good spirits. I'm dragging you onto the dancefloor later.” He promised. And as she was his 'date' for the evening.
“They must be here.” The class of 73. “Look out for the giant pink glitterball.” Not for Torin. Ho ho ho. “You'll spot Lori a miiile off.”

It was only then that he started to see people his own age. Wow, lots of them had gone casual, hadn't they?
"You think I should ditch the waistcoat?" Theo asked quite seriously.
The emotions that swept over Cassia when she entered the castle were overwhelming. Maybe it wasn't such a long time since she was last here, compared to others she now saw here, but she still missed this place a lot. After all it was the place where she grew up and lived her best and worst days.

The elves must have prepared it and man did she miss their food! Apparently Theo missed it, too, since he immediately led them there. They were this kind of couple, the one that directly headed to the buffet.
Speaking of Theo. "Nooo!" Cassia shook her head. "You look very handsome in it," Pause. "Well, and without it but we just got here," See her point ? But if he did want to take it off she wouldn't mind. His shirt and her dress matched, anyway. hehe.
On a total different note. "Some of these people look really old." She whispered to her boyfriend. Wow. They must have graduated ages ago.

He took that opportunity to get another good look at it. Wow, "You look beautiful." He'd already told her that before arriving, but he could easily say it all night.
"Hasn't changed much, has it?" Though, it hadn't really been that long since they had graduated. Still felt like a lifetime ago! Theo pulled back his arm to his side so he could grab himself a chocolate cookie. He was definitely gonna plate up properly soon. Maybe after a quick dance with his gurl.
"Seen anyone we know yet?" He did spot Mr Odessa and gave him a wave.
Chomp, chomp.

Elliot could..sense his annoyance, desperation, etc...but she just siiighed as she scanned the food. "I'll take that--" she gestured at the Fettuccine Alfredo. It had no meat in it, and it looked...quite delicious. "Maybe I was being overdramatic before.." she mumbled, tugging at the bottom of her dress to...make sure it didn't ride UP too much.
That would be...terrible.
"So yeah--some of that--what are you getting?" she asked curiously. She wanted a dessert, too, but that would take ANOTHER whole twenty minutes to figure out. So pfffft.
Leaning over, she kissed his cheek quickly--and smiled. "I'm sorry--sorrrrrrrry--" this was...this was their first OUTING and she had to behave. Or least try to.

Regardless of these feelings, Schuyler still made sure to take this chance to flashback to Hogwarts days. They weren't even that long ago, but some days she'd swear it was ages. Funny thing, time.
Anyway. Where was the first place to go? The Gryffindor table? Well, that might have been it. Would have been, had she not spotted those red cocktails with the speared raspberries.
Classy, Hogwarts.
Looking over all the food options again, Penelope then spotted another familiar face, this time one of her Gryffindor dormmates. Been awhile since she'd seen her too. "Schuyler, hey," she said, walking over to her. "How're you?"

Christmas smiled at Penelope and said "I have been pretty good thanks Penelope, how have you been yourself" Christmas hadn't really seen Penelope since she graduated and it felt good to be catching up with a fellow teammate

Max nodded and got her what she wanted. Because that's what he'd been doing for a little while now. In his opinion she probably needed protein, so meat... but whatever.
"Just a bit overdramatic. But that's fine." He said and got more of the same for himself cause he was lazy and much less picky. He felt really weird being in the great hall again. But if he had to be back here he was happy to be back with his wife.
"Same thing as you, baby.." This was good, it was nice to be out with her. he'd been to the office every now and again, and that was wonderful, though Felix was a really calm baby, never really cried much. So it wasn't like he was exhausted or something.
He smiled at the kiss on the cheek. After all these years here they were. There were times he didn't think he'd see Elliot again and now she was his wife. "It's okay, baby.." He said and kissed her cheek.

Alexis Chosen was not dancing. No way. No how. No thank you.
She was a Quidditch player not a dancer.
Well actually- no longer a Quidditch player....
But the fact remained. No dancing!
She had a proper excuse and all.
Thank you little unborn fetus child for preventing dance horrors everywhere. Dragging Savannah along she finally managed to make it to the buffet a large smile took over her face. "Okay ma'am. I brought you here safely. That will be eight hundred thousand galleons."
