| | |  Consolation Game: Ravenclaw Vs Slytherin
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had its doors ajar for the cool early spring breeze to get in. Its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Botros and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors, and made ready for the consolation game for this term.
The green and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Slytherin and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

Janelle and Bianca took over the shooters as they marched out on to the court. The girls swung their shooters on Mr Kitridge signal and gave their stones nudges forward. The green stone only rolled past one obstacle before it lost pace and stopped oozing out smelly gob in the air. The blue stone surpassed it's opponent and rolled past a series of obstacles before it too stopped.
"2 points to Ravenclaw!" Leo announced.

The green stone took off and after only a few seconds it smacked right into an obstacle and stopped. A foul smell oozed out of the stone but no gob. The blue stone surpassed it's opponent and continued past a few more obstacles before it stopped just inches from a new obstacle.

Dante remained on the court for the snakes while the eagles switched in Penelope Wright. The two players swung their shooters and nudged their stones forward. The blue stone rolled off rockily down the court and around 3 obstacles before it came to an abrupt stop having collided with an obstacle. The green stone proceeded to surpass it's opponent on its way down the court. It continued rolling past an additional 5 obstacles before it stopped too.

Sophie stayed on the court for the eagles while the snakes switch Cilla back in. The two girl's swung their shooters and nudged their stones forward with their shooes. The green stone quickly picked up pace as it zoomed past several obstacles. Then it just lost all speed and stopped without visible explanation. The blue stone which was trailing behind it's opponent picked up speed as its opponent stopped and surpassed it on its way past 3 more obstacles.

The last encounter between Ravenclaw and Slytherin was concluded by the facing off between Brown and Ashcroft. Both players did their best in this last turn with their shooting. The blue stone raced towards the goal and was the first to touch the Jack Stone, causing Mr Kitridge to start applauding a little too enthusiastically-- not because it was Ravenclaw, but because it was finally over and they would all go back to their headquarters to eat some well deserved food.
"Ravenclaw wins!" He announced, clapping lightly, "Great game Slytherins, you were fantastic as well. Thank you everyone for watching and taking time out of your leisure time to enjoy this match today. There are many matches left in the season so make sure to attend those as well. Today's player of the match is Priscilla Ashcroft, thank you for your dedication to the game." He flashed Cilla a big smile. "Off you go to your common rooms for hanging out with your housemates or even studying." Leo ushered everyone out, out, out.
