CHARMS!

He was... actually excited for class, so excited in fact, that he was still tucking in his shirt as he made his way through the door. His initial reaction was to STOP, dead in his tracks... cause the room was empty. Empty, save for a cat. Hmm. After double checking the classroom number on the door, Zeke shrugged and pulled a small box from his bag. Apparently the Professor liked apples, but apples were kinda lame, so he opted to go with apple FLAVOURED sweets. It was the best of both worlds, no?

Placing it on the Professor's desk, Zeke turned and decided on a table in the middle-isn... so he passed the cat, giving it a weary look. How... suspicious. Had someone lost it? He didn't want to get pegged for stealing it. Nope.. FAR AWAY from the cat.

Bianca was practically skipping to Charms class. Why?

Because she had seen all the professors at the feast and this one was hot. Yes. SHE SAW YOU SIR. How nice would it be to have a hot professor teaching you? Very nice. So the Gryffindor entered the classroom with a giant smile ready to be greeted with all that face and the whatnot.

Except he wasn't there.

But there was a cat. Well then... Bianca stared at the cat for a moment and started to walk towards it. She sat down at the desk behind the cat and she would observe it from her seat. "Hi kitty."

NOW PURR AND SAY HI BACK.

First class of term! AND it was with a new professor. Caleb was definitely curious about this new guy, and also nervous. Not that he wouldn't like the guy - more that the guy wouldn't know what he was talking about and Caleb would fail his Charms OWL. THAT was his nightmare.

The classroom was empty for the most part, and there was a cat of course. Caleb could care less about the cat. He decided to head over to the back and sat down in a desk, pulling out his notes. He was ready to get to work!

He had been seriously considering skipping this guy's lesson, but anyone who knew Dima would have snorted at the thought. The boy had come to the same conclusion himself, obviously not opting out of the lesson. But that didn't mean he had to enjoy it.

Entering the room, he chose a seat in the back that looked farthest from the professor's desk and closest to the door. And eyed the cat over there.

.... .... .... Cuddles?

So Kevin had found out that the "caretaker" who he had tried to push out of a window ...it was a Gryffindor thing... was actually the Charms Professor. HAH! and he said he was no professor eh? Well, lying is a horrible thing to do. Not that he cared but whatever, cause Kevin was ready to make fun of this guy.

As he entered the room, he was very dissapointed that the man wasn't there but upon seeing a black cat where his fellow housemate was he kind of forgot about it. Because he might be horrible to people, he had a soft heart for animals.

"That your cat?" he asked Bianca as he sat down at the desk next to her.

Dante was still wondering if he should nap during this lesson. Quigley was super lazy from what Dante could tell. See look, he was not even here. His cat was here, Scruffles or whatever the name was. And look even the cat was sleeping. That cat had the right idea.

Good Cat.

Dante took a random empty seat and waited for Professor Q to show up. He would give him like 5 minutes before he shut his eyes.

Charms!

Adi was excited and quite looking forward to this class as he strolled into the room. New Professor so he needed to be cautious here. He didn't know what the man was like. "Goo-" the fifth year began but stopped short because there was no Professor there. There was a cat there however...hmm.

Weird.

Anyway, Adi went off to find himself a seat, nodding at those there already. Though Caleb, Dante, Zeke and Kevin each got a 'hey' from him. Now seated, the Puffer waited for the class to begin, wondering what today's lesson would be all about.

First class of the year: Charms. Difficulty: Minimal....surely.

......but Gabriel didn't need to be so hasty with that thought...because upon walking in, he noticed an animal in the room. A seeminly common cat...but...still. Gabe...really didn't too much care for animals...or any magical creatures, for that fact. He had a heinous allergy...Okay, not really but he wouldn't say anything different on the matter.

Taking a desk as far away from the thing as possible, Gabriel got out his notebook and quill; prepared for serious note!taking. All the while, he side!glanced the desk it was occupying.

Oh oh, my first lesson EVER at this school! Grinning from the excitement she felt she quickly entered the classroom and looked around her and... This was exactly like how her dad had described it to be! But... Then better! But then, just when she stood there she started to worry because... What would happen if she wasn't a good witch and couldn't she keep up with the lesson? What if the lesson would be too difficult for her? Worries and worries! And then there was the next question, where needed she to sit? Had everybody his own place to sit or... Were they free to pick a place they wanted?

There was no teacher she could ask it so she just... Assumed that she needed to search for a free place to sit and if it wasn't good then somebody would tell it her right?

So, walking quick but also still smiling because this was just so cool she found a place to sit, it was a seat in the middle of the classroom, not in the first row but also not in the last and... She just couldn't wait for the lesson to begin and to see what would happen!

So today was his 1st class. Aegis was on a mission now to prove he was no flunkee anymore. Charms was just the 1st step to it now. So he entered the class with his head held high ready to give the Professor a Cold Stare of determination....but he wasn't at the front of the class. He was no where!?

Okay whatever. Easy O, for this class then right if the Professor doesn't show up.

He strode down one of the Aisles until he spotted an empty seat that was beside Kevin-Bob, who was also nearby the wonderfully beautiful Bianca.. "Hey Gorgeous, Nice Cat I've got one like that at home" Aegis nodded and winked at her, then coldly said "IKB" to Kevin as he went past his Desk, Plopping his things down onto the empty beside his fellow Gryffindors.

Oh, good, she found it. Evie nervously entered what she assumed was the Charms classroom. She wasn't quite used to such a long walk just to go to class. She saw others in the room as she entered, but the thing that caught her attention the most... was the cat.

Without even questioning it, Evie walked right over to the sleeping kitty and SAT down at the desk it was sleeping on. "Hi, kitty," she said (because it was normal to talk to cats more than people, apparently) and gave the kitty a little ear rub.

Charms...hadn't been Archie's strong point. But it was a new school year, with a new professor, so he was quietly optimistic that he might get through it a bit better this year. He had to have an aptitude for something!

Not seeing a Si in the class, nor an Eden (or for that matter Rude Girl), it didn't really matter where he sat, as long as there was at least one free seat alongside for Si when he came. So he took a seat in the middle, barely registering that there was a sleepy cat in their midst.

Thornton made his way into the classroom having thoroughly read the rules before his arrival. And so he made his way up to the front of the room to leave an apple he had taken from the kitchen. With the professor nowhere to be seen, it was simply a welcome gesture. There was no benefit to be gained.

Making his way to an empty desk, he smiled at the cat - but did not touch! - and made his way to the back of the room. "Hi, Dima," he said, settling into the desk next to him.

THERE WAS A CAT IN THE ROOM.

Obviously, that was the first thing Brian Woods noticed as he entered his first class of the day. Charms. Would they be learning how to flirt this lesson, per chance? Acquire some charm so they could charm people into doing things for them would be even better. Maybe he could even convince his sister to let him use her stuff. This was a potentially very useful class.

Finding a seat in the second row and trying very hard not to stare at the cat, he took out his parchment and a quill. Seriously. They used quills and ink pots. When he went home for Christmas, he was most definitely going to get a bunch of pens and bring them here. Why would you need quills when you had pens, right? Besides, he could take notes on charming people far more effectively.

That was what this subject was about, right?

Charms.

This lesson didn't bother her in the least as she made her way through the halls towards the room. As she reached the door Hady noticed three things.

One there was already quite a few others there which was alright by her she didn't want to be first anyways. Second the Professor wasn't here yet. Weird but okay still. Third was the cat curled up sleeping on one of the desks. Interesting to say the least.

Slipping into the room silently she spotted a free desk towards the middle of the room somewhere and headed for it. Sliding into her seat she set her bag down beside her feet glancing around the room. Maybe she could ask the Professor for a charm to keep her necklace from breaking and possibly one other charm she had in mind.

However she had other things to do first. So removed her parchment and quill from her bag and set them on the desk before her. With that done all she needed was to wait for the Professor.

Margo was so excited to be starting her first lesson of the year!! Charms, it so happen to be. And to make matters even better, she had found her own way to the room! And only got lost once, not so bad for being a first year (in her opinion anyway). Margo came running into the room looking for a place to sit, there room wasn't over full yet, so she had a pick of the litter for seats.

Taking a place close to the kitty she seen, seeing as the cat was already at some one else's attention Margo bounced over the to the desk, slipping slighty and collecting her self at the last minuet before she hit the floor. Man!! Could she possible not trip and fall for one day at this school. It was like it was out to get her!!!!

Finally sitting down at her desk, Margo pulled out some parchment and a quill. Margo had also taken note of the rules and brought one shiney red APPLE That she placed on top of her desk as well. The professor was bound to see it there right?

Ariel meant to give herself plenty of time to find the Charms classroom, but even so she feared of running late. Even more than that, she feared of going to the wrong classroom. And not knowing until it started. And then needing to find the right room. And then she'd surely be late.

She entered the classroom that matched the number of the one written on her schedule, which she clutched in her hand. Only she paused uncertainly at the front, not seeing any indication that this was indeed for Charms class. Not even a teacher. Instead, she saw quite a few students of varying ages. And a cat?

She took another glance at her schedule, then looked over the students. If she went back out to double check the room number, that would be embarrassing, but if she asked the students, that would also be embarrassing.

After swallowing the lump in her throat, Ariel slowly and quietly took a seat at the edge of the classroom, just in case she was horribly wrong about it. Hopefully less people would see her slip out if need be.

Immediately, she took her notebook from her bag and updated the letter to her dad. Basically, "I went to Charms first. The teacher wasn't there, but a cat was."

Of course Cinna was going to attend the charms lessons this term. With professor charming himself. The professor practically looked like he had to walked out if a fairy tale book. Around here that was very likely.

She made her way into to the classroom. She hadn't actually planned on attending anything today. Totally not in the mood for learning, or social interaction what so ever. But she forced herself. Mostly because it was her OWL year.

Awww darn no professor charming. Oh well not yet. She headed on to find a seat. She sat down beside Bianca. "Hey, B." She smiled a bit to her doormate. Aegis and Kevin "Hello, boys." She acknowledged there presents. Also Awwww lookie kitty cat "Meow." And petted its head. That was 'hey there' in cat apparently. Now all she had to do was for class to start.

Class today.

Yo, he was sooooooo pumped. A new term meant all new things to learn and Hugh was into learning. Especially since he was slightly elitist when it came to intelligence. (Looking at certain female Ravenclaws here). So he was into learning. Even moreso with a new professor. That meant new points of view on a subject.

He tripped into the room with all the swag he could muster and fumbled into his seat. SAFE. Did they all see that landing? Professional level.

First class of the term and it was charms, a subject that landed itself in the middle of the line of classes on Ben's list. Neither really good at and enjoyable, nor horrible and feared. The professor wasn't in the classroom so he kept the greeting to himself, instead making his way further into the room to find a seat. There was a cat however, on the desk claimed by a fifth year Ravenclaw, which made things just a little curious.

Hadn't it been at the feast?

Curiouser and curiouser.

Plenty of time to find out. In the mean time, he placed an apple on the professor's desk before coming back to the rest. "Hey," he said to Adi as he took a seat at the desk beside his friend.

Bianca's eyes were fixed on that cat. Was she allowed to take the cat and run? Wait... wasn't the babe allergic to cats? Maybe she wasn't allowed to take the cat and run then. But her eyes were not going to leave that cat. She was ready for it to say hi back now... any second.

She jumped a little though when she heard a fellow Gryffindor. Startled, the Gryffindor quickly composed herself and smoothed out her hair. She smiled at Kevin. "Nope... not yet..."

Because she might take the cat and run any... oh hey look. "Hey handsome," she said, winking right back at Aegis who had arrived. "Does your cat say hi back?" Because this cat was like... broken or something. It wasn't saying a word.

WAIT WHAT WAS THIS GIRL (Evie/Sarahlooo) doing sitting at the cat table?! Hello? She was blocking her view. "Pssssst. PSSSSST. Can you move over a little? I'm watching the cat." And she couldn't see through the girl and at the cat so that was a problem. Everyone was just infatuated with the cat, weren't they? Even Cinna who had taken a set next to her.

She wiggled her fingers, "Sup Cinnastix?"

Classes were starting back up which was totally lame, but what can you do. AJ still wasn't sure what subject the handsome professor that crashed their party in the lion common room taught. It had to be either Charms or Muggle Studies. Wait, there was a new herbology professor too, right? Either way, she would be finding out soon. Too bad she tuned out the speech at the feast. Normally AJ didn't care too much about introductions. It was more like blah, blah, blah... can we eat yet?

For once AJ wasn't running super late, and she made her way into the classroom. Handsome professor, where are you? Annnnd there wasn't a professor anywhere as far as her eyes could see. Bummer. It looked like she was going to have to wait even longer to see if the handsome professor was also the Charms professor. What had gotten in to her anyways?

Oh, there was a cat. AJ loved animals and made a beeline over to the fluffy angel. "Is this your cat?" she asked the older girl that was sitting at the desk the cat was sitting on. AJ began to scratch behind his ears. "You are soooo cute." she cooed about an inch away from his face.

Being so preoccupied with the cat, AJ didn't even take notice of anybody else that was present in the class. Like her boyfriend who was seated not too far from her. Maybe AJ should get herself a cat so he could accompany her to all her lessons. Now that sounded like a plan.

Angel was totally looking forwards to this lesson. She then suddenly saw AJ, Benny and Adi and smiled as she went over to them. "Hi guys." Angel was totally looking forwards to seeing what fun stuff they would get up-to though she knew the new Professor would be a lot different to the Professor before, though she hoped that they would still have fun.

First class of the day. And of the whole school year for that matter. Nothing like starting off on the right foot with a wonderful charms class. There was even a new professor this year. Hayden didn't feel any strong emotions one way or another. She hadn't known the previous professor very well so she didn't feel sad to see him go, but she didn't know the new professor at all so the jury was still out.

She'd made sure to read the new rules before going to class, because she was a good person and all that. So she had a nice red apple in her hands. The new professor liked apples so she'd stopped by the kitchens before heading to class. Unfortunately, the professor hadn't even arrived yet. What was she supposed to do with the apple? Instead of setting it on his desk, she decided to keep it until she could personally give it to him. She figured it would be a little weird if he walked into the classroom and there was an apple on his desk that hadn't been there before. He wouldn't really be able to trust it. So she took a seat and waited for the class to start.
