Zhenya was scared. She was very scared. She had tried to avoid Healer Murdoch in the past, because she generally opened her mouth before she thought. It wasn't good, and she was scared she would do it in front of her Head of House. But not this term, she couldn't be afraid. Well, she had to be less afraid.

Each step she took to walk towards the office door, she looked down. At her shoes, her robes, her skirt, she even had to bring her hands up to her face and her hair to make sure it was all immaculate. As immaculate as she could, anyway. In the time it had been since the House meeting, Zhenya was DETERMINED to make up as many house points as she could. She was DETERMINED to see Slytherin colours decorating the Great Hall at the end of term, and the first step, besides attending classes, was to volunteer her time. She was here to volunteer her time with Healer Murdoch. But of course, she had an alternative motive. Maybe she could get experience from a Healer, which was what she wanted to be after Hogwarts.

When there were no more steps to take, Zhenya paused for a moment to knock at the door, three knocks, before taking a seat on the bench.

Cilla had been deliberating about whether or not to volunteer at the Hospital Wing but finally she had decided to. She made sure that she was as pristine as possible but without going over the top. Simplicity was key. She saw Zhenya on the bench and gave her a warm smile before knocking twice on Healer Murdoch's door. Cilla then took a seat on the bench next to Zhenya and waited nervously.

Healer Murdoch was sitting in her office enjoying the peace and quiet. Things had been crazy in the infirmary lately so it was nice when she was able to get a some time to herself. Unfortunately, she never got enough of that alone time lately.

Hearing the knocks on her door she reluctantly got up to see who was there. If it was someone with another broken bone caused by climbing trees, she would probably scream.

As she opened the door she found two of her own students sitting there. Neither of them looked injured, which was a good thing for them. "Hello girls. What is it that brings you here?" And they better not be here to tell her another snake was in detention or causing trouble again.

She would wait to see what they wanted before she decided if they would be allowed into her office.

Cilla looked at Healer Murdoch.

"Well, I would like to volunteer my time here at the Hospital Wing and I am fairly sure Zhenya wants to as well but you'll have to ask her," Cilla replied, rather nervously.

Zhenya was sitting in the waiting area patiently, thinking of Gary of course. Then the door opened, and she was slightly startled. But she stood up and nodded as Cilla spoke of why they were there. "Yes pro-err Healer Murdoch.I'd like to volulteer my time and help out here in the hospital wing." of course it depended on what, if anything, needed doing.

Healer Murdoch looked at both girls as they told her they were there because they wanted to volunteer their time to her. "Very well, come in and have a seat," she said as she stepped back into the office and gestured towards the chairs in front of her desk.

Cilla had not been sleeping too well due to the battle in her mind over her emotions about Gregoire's death. She needed to talk to Healer Murdoch for the sake of her sanity. The dark circles under her eyes were growing bigger. She softly knocked on the door and then sat down on the bench outside the office.

Healer Murdoch was on her way out to take care of a certain problem in the dungeon corridor that she had been informed about. A problem she would be more than happy to take care of. Of course it was going to have to wait a little bit longer it seems.

After exiting her office and locking the door she turned to find a student sitting on the bench. "Miss Ashcroft, what brings you here?" Hopefully this wouldn't take long. Cece had other things to tend to. Like that hideous portrait that was harassing her students all the time.

Cilla looked up at Healer Murdoch. "I need to talk to you about Gregoire's death. I am on the verge of some sort of breakdown. I just don't know what to do."

As she spoke, Cilla eyes darkened as if recent events had broken her.

So it looked like this wasn't going to be a quick chat did it. That didn't make Cece want to open her office back up and invite the girl in though. Instead she sat on the bench next to the girl. "How about you tell me what you're feeling? Did you know Gregoire very well?" Was this girl about to have a breakdown because one of her friends had been killed, or was it because she was frightened something could happen to her? Cece really needed to get some information from the girl before she could really advise her on anything.

"Well, I hardly knew him so I can't fathom these feelings. I am sad that a fellow student died in such grisly circumstances but there's that tiny part of me that is angry at the fact that he wouldn't be dead if he didn't act so foolishly. Going into the Forbidden Forest is something I wouldn't do."

Cilla sighed and continued. "Am I a bad person for not being totally sympathetic towards Gregoire's death?"

She bit her lip and looked at Murdoch, awaiting the healer's reply.

Healer Murdoch sat there listening to the girl. She didn't interrupt her to give any advice just yet. Sometimes it was better just to let someone say what they were feeling. Just give them a listening ear.

"No, you're not a bad person for feeling the way that you do. The way you are feeling is perfectly normal." Heck, Cece herself felt pretty much the same way as Cilla did. She was sad that a student got killed, especially one from her house, yet at the same time she was very angry with the boy for being so stupid and doing what he did. "I'm sure you would have different feelings if you and Gregoire had been friends or close in any way. However, given the fact that you really didn't know him and that you are feeling even the tiniest bit sad tells me you have a heart and you care about others." Which was more than she could say for some.

Cilla internally breathed a sigh of relief. She wasn't totally heartless. "Thank you, Healer Murdoch. I think I'll be able to sleep now." Cilla got up from the bench and waited for Murdoch to give her permission to depart.

Well this was easy now wasn't it. "I'm glad I could be of help. You can head back to the common room now. Unless you have somewhere else you need to go first." Either way the girl was dismissed to go. "If you need anything else just let me know." For now though she had something else she needed to tend to.

Cece stood up and started toward the dungeon.
