A usual compartment at the back of the Train for Adi? Yesh, please! After stashing his trunk in the luggage compartment, the cheerful Hufflepuff bounded his way through the thin crowd of students, often greeting the ones he knew. Atop his head (quite an upgrade from usually hanging out on Adi's shoulder) was perched Gus a.k.a Guster the Toady who seemed to be in a great mood like its owner as it was croaking away rapidly.
Arriving at one of the first empty compartments, Adi slid the door open, stepped in and immediately flopped down on a seat. Who could believe another year at Hogwarts had gone by SOOOO quickly? Adi covered his mouth as he started to yawn. Whoops. It looked like he still needed to catch up on sleep even though after the exams he had not felt the effects that much.
"Sorry, Guster. You're going to need to find another place to hang.'' The toady was lifted off of the owner's black hair and set on the floor. "Might be able to catch a few minutes of snooze,'' he explained then promptly fell on his back across a few seats with his eyes closed and specs still on.

It was the end of the year already. Where had the time gone? She could have sworn that time just keeps moving faster and faster. She didn't know where she wanted to sit. Maybe a change would be good? Emmylou walked around on the train before making her way to the back of the train. From what she could remember she had never really sat back here before but she could be wrong.
Looking around the blonde didn't want to sit alone so make new friends was her goal. Maybe some of those new friends would be on the summer field trip? That would be awesome if they were. Looking around for a compartment, there were a lot of empty ones. Hmm. Emmylou kept walking along until she found one with the boy in it. She looked at him wasn't he the Hufflepuff Prefect? Emmy cleared her throat and smiled at him. "Excuse me?" She said in her strange southern accent. It was only strange because really no one else here had of of those accents besides Kace. "Is it okay if I sit with you?" She smiled brightly waiting for his answer.

Now that Adi actually had his eyes closed and some moments of peace and quiet, he could absoloutely not drift off -___- Maybe he would be better off going to find at least one of his many friends. Yeah, he would do that. He popped his eyes open to find himself looking upside down at a girl. He couldn't make out her features properly from the way he was situated but he grinned up at her, trying to place her accent. It sounded VERRRYYY familiar.
"Hi! Of course it is!'' Adi righted himself to a seating position. NOW he could see the girl properly and it was Emmylou, Kace's girlfriend! No wonder the accent sounded familiar. Kace had the same one. Just at that moment Gus came hopping out from under one of the seats. "Careful not to step on Guster. He's just out to say hi to you.'' The Puffer indicated to his toad. Gus was over friendly just like his owner. Hehe.
"You haven't found Kace as yet?" Adi asked turning his attention back to the newcomer.
Noel had been counting the days, and the time was finally here. They were going back. The term was OFFICIALLY over. Pushing open a compartment door, the fifteen year old dropped his back pack on the seat and sat down - letting Lamb climb on his lap. The crup of his was not really a fan of train rides, Noel had realized over time - the constant move upset the little guy's stomach. Noel petting his head and holding him near comforted him though. So guess what the puff would be doing for the next so many hours? Noel was fine with it though - he was in no mood to get up and mingle.
He left the compartment door open though - in case Hayley decided to show up or any other.

The train was just as squishy, if not more, as when they had come to Hogwarts for the term. Amur attritubted it the excitment of the summer, that seemed to have people moving every which way with flailing arms, legs, hands, feet and even heads. She had lost count of how many people she had accidentally bumped into or ran into on the way to the back of the cars.
Needless to say, her backpack had moved to be slung around her front and her little arms had pressed against its sides, trying to make itself and herself much, much smaller. 'Excuse me's' had been abandoned, and 'shove off's' had nearly escaped her lips several times.
So, when she finally saw a door open with only one occupant, Amur squeezed her way in and quickly flopped down on the seat nearest the door. She spared a glare at some of the backs outside before taking stock of exactly who she had joined. All agitation dissipated at the sight of the cruppy on the boy's lap, and she had to repress a big grin. No need to look crazy.
Her eyes went up to the boy. "Hi....sorry for barging. Do you...mind?" She pointed at the seat she was sitting on. Cause, she could leave if he wanted the compartment to himself, or if he was waiting for a crowd. No thank you crowds.

Hugh paid no mind to all of the craziness happening around him on the train. He was too absorbed in his own thoughts to give an ounce of his attention to the people around him doing whatever nonsense they were doing. Yo, he had one mission and one alone- find an empty compartment. He wanted to take advantage of the last little surge of peace and quiet before he was exiled home for the summer with the woman. At home he would have no time to think.
Slipping into a compartment, he yanked out some Kafka. Heh. Yooooooooo, this was his jam.

Fifth year’s finally done, and summer has begun. Most would start to unwind and get lazy, but not for the rising sixth year. Inspired by the late night discussions with his fellow Slytherins in the boys’ dormitory, Ethan decided to finally work on his body. He realized...things, and thought...why not? He’s a grown boy anyway, and believed that he’s not too young anymore to develop it.
‘Sides, what if he got invited into an exclusive beach or pool party, right? Hehehehe.
Sliding into an empty compartment, the sixteen year old dumped all of his things on one side, did a series of stretching first...then went on to do some serious crunches on the floor.
1...2...3...4...where’s Grayson, by the way? He ought to join if he wants to impress (more if possible) the girlfriend person. Yup.

Granted his original bucket list was crumpled and forgotten and maybe done for for the summer, Noel was mentally trying to come up with a new list for the days ahead. There were a lot of things he needed to be distracted from and he would need ....... things to do to achieve that. His long fingers continued to comb his crup's hair and the little guy continued to hide in Noel's lap as if just needing a permission to start digging in.
He was quiet lost in thought when someone walked in. Smiling, the boy shook his head, "Helloo, and not at all" He wasn't expecting anyone but Hayley. "I must warn you though, things may get ugly -" he said, looking down at his crup, " - lamb here has quiet the sensitive stomach when it comes to travelling in trains"

Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
So he had managed to survive fifth year it seemed.
Not killed by Bellaire.
Nor died of exhaustion from OWLs.
Benny was there....alive...on the Hogwarts Express ready to go home. His trunk was packed up in the luggage compartment with Conrad's cage, the owl perched on his shoulder to avoid being left behind. As the outgoing fifth year headed out into the train proper, his familiar twitted along in his own conversation and he couldn't help but chuckle. 'Yes....I'll have to get you in touch with Gus," he mused as he made his way down the train corridor. The two creatures really the only ones who could apparently understand each other all the time.
Eventually he heard a familiar voice coming from a compartment nearby. The Gryffindor made his way over only to spot Adi with a fellow fifth year lion. "Hey," Ben greeted simply to make his presence know as he came up behind the girl.

Emmylou smiled at the Hufflepuff Prefect and looked around for this Guster fellow. She made a happy squeaking noise when she saw the toad. "He's so adorable!!" She always wanted a toad but an owl was just as good in her dark blue eyes. "My parents or well my father wouldn't let me get a toad or even a frog but I'll let you in on a little secret. At my grandma and grandpa Duchannes' house in Alabama they have all this amazing land and some ponds and a waterfall in the woods and I have a family of adorable little frogs." She nodded with excitement! "My grandparents basically have a farm, they have horses, a baby pig, dogs, chickens and one cow and I just love it there." Just the look on her face alone you could that just thinking about their house relaxed her and made her really happy.
She shook her head. "Nope. I couldn't find my best friend slash cousin slash sister either." Talking about Cinna of course but not many people would know who she's talking about. The blonde beamed some more when someone else popped in. "Hello." She said happily with the big grin on her face.

"Good." Amur huffed out, giving a disapproving glance to all the students mingling outside. Which, for the boy's information, good also meant thanks, but she was too out of breath to bother mentioning it.
Her eyes skipped back to the boy and his crup, and her exctiment wavered for sympathy. "Can't be any worse than out there." Still, she slipped her bag off her shoulders and onto the seat beside herself as she scooted over on the bench until she was across from the boy.
Still...
"Poor puppy." Lamb, was it? Not quite as unique as Zander's crup's name, but still special. It was an odd thing to call a dog, especially given it wasn't a Lamb, but at least it wasn't Betty or Bob. "Is it the motion, the stuffiness, eating to much before riding, or all of the above?" For her, it was usually all of the above, but perhaps the puppy was different.

Adi was so pleased to see Emmy wasn't one of those girls who ran squealing if they so much as saw a toad. "You can hold him if you like. Be warned though, he could lick you.'' Adi had never forgotten what had happened to Hannah back in his first year. Then again, maybe Gus was just having fun with the girl. Hehe.
The Puffer now laughed. This Gryffindor was a little on the rebellious side, wasn't she? How could he not have spoken much to her before? She seemed to be so much fun! "Have you named the family of frogs?" Emmy seemed to him the type of person that would do that. "You're really into the country side stuff but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Your accent gives you away. Have you ever milked a cow? I always wanted to do that.'' And have the entire farm experience for that matter.
Adi shifted his eyes to the other person joining them. Benny! And Conrad too! "Hi, you two! Aren't his talons hurting your shoulder, Benny?'' The owl must have a firm grip on the bestie's shoulder.
Henric board the train and went to quickly find an empty compartment for him to seat. Finally, he saw one and got inside before anyone noticed him. He was trying to avoid any contact from his dorm mates because everytime he saw them,he would get teased and he was getting tired of it. He needed some proper alone time after that embarrassing ordeal at the great hall.Oh no no...he had to take some time away. This crazy fluctuations in his stomach had to stop. Besides, she was way over his league and way too beautiful and popular ...and amazing..and...what is he thinking?!!...Henric shook his head in denial as he leaned back to close his eyes.

Maybe Leah shouldn't have left the safety of the luggage compartment. The train corridor was just too crowded for anybody or anything to move. In search of an empty compartment, she was pushed all the way made her way down the corridor and to the... Back Cars? Wow. The Hufflepuff never liked the back end of the train, so was about to force her way back to the front again when she saw a familiar shade of brown hair walk into an empty compartment.
He was too cute. Like seriously. The way he leaned back and closed his eyes made him look like a celebrity. Silently (which was almost impossible because of the general level of noise on the train), Leah crept into the compartment and plopped down on the seat right across from Henric. She crossed her legs, took out the newest edition of Witch Weekly and flipped open to a random page. The Fourth Year acted like she was here all the time.

His housemate was the first to react, but that might be because she particly blocked him from Adi's view, especially given the position he was sitting in. "Are you joining us?" he asked curiously and trying to be polite with some conversation . She was welcome to, especially since neither of the other Gryffindor girls they might expect hadn't found them yet and even if they had, there would still be some room.
Were they talking about farm animals?
"Not really," he said with a slight shrug that sent Conrad to flap off and perch on the overhead rack. "Not anymore than the snargaluff had anyway," Benny added as he moved to take a seat. Now that plant had been brutal...especially without a wand to deal with it. He had had many a scratch after that herbology lesson.

She was still a bit flustered from what had happened back in the Entrance Hall, but at the same time, she wasn't freaking out as much as she would have thought she was going to. Actually, come to think of it, it seemed like he was the one who had been more flustered than she was. Speaking of Ethan, where had he gone to?
The fourth year (soon to be fifth year) made her way through the train passing by each compartment silently. From the looks of it, it seemed like most of the compartments were getting filled up quickly. Josie was nearing the back of the train now & was still not having any luck, that was until she had passed by a compartment with one boy in there, who was.....stretching?
Alright, now that was a bit random to see, but she couldn't help but stop & watch as he was now transitioning into...crunches? She tilted her head a bit puzzled as she was wondering why this boy was deciding to...work out in the middle of an empty compartment....on the train. Just then she caught a glimpse of his face & she couldn't help but gasp when she had realized she knew that boy doing crunches! Ethan.
Josie jumped getting all flustered, dropping her things in the process thus causing her to panic & frantically gather her things up before she would be seen looking like an absolute creep watching someone work out.

He wanted to shift his position but his clumsy leg bumped into the ones in front of him. He was about to apologise but stopped himself, his eyes widened at the sight of Leah.

She hadn't been had she?
...Had she?
Oh, PLEASE don't open the compartment door!
1…2…3…wince…4…5…wince.
To be honest, the boy had lost count already and just kept on thinking about the end result of his work out. Silently, he berated himself for not thinking about the idea early on. He was sure that his efforts would not yield any satisfactory result, because he started out way too late.
But then again, there must be a potion that he could ask his cousin to help him brew.
With that thought, Ethan held the last position, and ungracefully flopped on the floor with a dull thud. He forgot about the magic of potions. It sure can give him a good start, and slowly continue the work out part on his own. The compartment was silent, apart from the soft chattering from the train corridor, and the moving gears underneath the floor.
…huh? Ethan turned his head while lying on the floor, and looked out of the window. Was that thunder he heard? The Slytherin stood up wincing from the pain, pressed his nose against the window and confirmed that…the weather was absolutely fantastic outside. Sighing, he turned to face the compartment door and noticed…someone outside.
Opening the door, Ethan mused at the sight and helped the girl with her things. It’s already summer, and the sixteen year old can’t help but think how Ravenclaw that person was…until he saw her face. After doing a double take, Ethan’s face turned bright, as he wore a happy grin on his lips. “You should have tucked these away for now.” He said as he picked one thick book from the floor and tucked it under his arm, and gathered more for Josie. “…unless you wanted to get a head start with your OWLs?” Ethan joked, stood up and offered his hand towards Josie.
Or maaaybe she was trying to get his attention in a Ravenclaw, subtle, kind of way? GRIN.
…wait, he’s not blushing right?

To be honest? Leah did not like Witch Weekly magazines. It just happened to be in her bag... well, she should return it to her dormmate before they reached Kings Cross. As for now, she was just casually pretending that she was here all along. Just when she found an interesting article to actually read, she felt Henric's leg brush against hers as he moved.
He finally noticed her! The girl looked into his eyes for a moment longer than necessary and smiled, the magazine forgotten on her laps. "Hey Henric," she said. "I'm sorry, was I bothering you?" Now that she observed carefully enough, he looked troubled. Maybe he was being BULLIED by his friends because of the same reason she was getting teased?? Leah frowned slightly.

It suddenly became very quiet in Ethan's compartment & the young girl froze immediately. DRATS. She frantically tried to gather her things faster than she was doing & that was when she heard the compartment door opening. Just then he was helping her gather things & she slowly stopped doing so in the process, unsure if there might be an awkward moment that their hands hit one another, not that that would have been a bad thing.
She lifted her face to see him smiling at her & she felt her heart flutter a bit. Josie shrugged her shoulders a bit smiling. "I-I ran out o-of room in my t-trunk.." She watched as he tucked one of her thick books under his arm. He had brought up OWLs to her & she nodded slowly before she took his hand when he had offered his hand to hers.
Josie adjusted herself & made sure everything was alright before she smiled a little. "T-Thank you for helping me p-pick up my things.." A brief moment of silence had gone by before she asked in a soft tone, "S-Sorry I di-disturbed you.." No she wasn't staring, not intentionally!
