A dark gloom fills the Arithmancy corridor, surely the product of cloudy skies and snow-covered windows. However, once you step inside the classroom, the air becomes warm and comfortable, plus a cheery brightness scatters the shadows to the corners where they belong. Floating candles have been magicked into the air, similar to the Great Hall at Halloween.
The other curiosity in the room is actually the absence of someone - the professor. Surely she couldn't have forgotten about her own lesson? Best to take a seat and wait on her; she'll likely be coming any minute now.
OOC: This lesson is being held at 9am on Thursday, January 10, 2086. We will officially begin in around 24 hours. Until then, feel free to chat.

Major life cycles? Well that kinda explained the unicycle a little bit. Sitting up straighter in her seat she grabbed up her quill and began taking down notes as Professor Tanner explained things up front.
Hady tilted her head with a slightly confused expression at the example the Professor used to help explain it all. How does birth years and stuff explain how your life is supposed to turn out? To her it didn't really make much sense but in other lessons when they did this stuff it turned out the answers were surprisingly correct...or at least mostly.
Not sure on an answer to the question since what everyone else was making the most sense Hady kept quiet preferring to continue note taking and reading over what her textbook said.
What would her number be? What would it say about her life already and what was to come for her? This Slytherin wasn't sure if she wanted to know.
Did you hear that, people? She was CREATIVE. So THERE. It didn't matter that creative was the same thing as wrong, because creative WASN'T the same thing as dumb or WORSE, a baby. She was old now, okay, she was practically middle aged.
Norah sighed a bit when it became time to actually do things, though, because yuck. Numbers. And Professor Tanner wasn't writing everything on the board which just made things harder because adding things was hard enough on parchment, let alone in your head. But still, it WAS a class and she WAS here for some reason, so she flipped the pages of her textbook one by one 'till she got to the right page. It KINDA made sense, but then people apparently figured it out way before her, so the whole entire WORLD had already answered the question by the time she'd figured out what to say. Oh. Wellll then. The third year opted to stay quiet instead of repeating what everybody else had said, and moved her hand sloooowly in the direction of her quill to begin taking notes. Maybe if she was slow they just wouldn't have to do any maths. Awesome, good plan Norah.
Aaahh so the unicycle made sense. They were gonna talk about life cycles but he would never have gotten that. He grinned at Professor Tanner's response to his comment and he wished he could learn to ride a unicycle but then again she learned it when she was really young. There was still some time for him right? He was still young at heart. He would come to her office later and get some lessons. Yup it was already decided. Anywho onto the lesson.
He heard Tanner's explanation and it went into one ear and out the other. He got SO confused. Good thing he had the book. He began to flip it to page 27 was it? He skimmed and he saw the example and he still didn't understand fully. So was her theme was the number 6? He only saw major cycles. He heard other mentions but he wasn't getting it.
"If I am correct. Your third cycle would be a three like you said and it says A Time of Self-Expression and Joyful Living? You will receive great reward for any talents possessed in the performing arts. Doesn't sound too bad." he shrugged. Sounded like something he would like to hear.
Ahh!! Margo beamed with pride!! She had gotten close to the right answer and received an extra point! She felt like she was actually making progress at understanding this branch of magic.
So looking through her text book to chapter 21. Major life cycles. They each had three. Margo took a minuet to jot down those facts on a piece of parchment. "The number 3 is all about talent and creativity. You obviously have talent on the cycle." Margo said smiling and pointing toward the unicycle. And she had said that she was a gymnast in her younger years. "And her you third cycle says you'll be enjoying the pleasures of life, maybe you'll get back in gymnastics!" Margo said smiling, she had always enjoyed watching them.

As Tanner gave them an example using her birth date, Adi found the page in his text book on Major cycles. Soooo, they were to look for the interpretation for the numeral 3? The Puffer read through that interpretation then raised his hand. "It says here that as the Third Major Cycle, your harvest years will be both rewarding and creative and you'll enjoy the pleasures of life. I guess that means that everything that you did earlier in life comes back now in the form of rewards to make your life full of... um happiness?'' Ugh! Lame, Adi.
She liked the sound of that! "So apparently I need not fear growing older, if Mr. Rehman's postulate comes true. I'll certainly take happiness."

Tiara did not, however, like where Angel's mindset was. "While you may be right, Miss Valentine, I am not generally the wagering sort. And I would challenge you in that money is actually a wonderful way to lose happiness and joy." Tiara really wasn't sure what she'd do with all the cash if she did win the lottery. Give it to Hogwarts, perhaps. "But, I do concede that your guess follows in line with the textbook - just not my personal choices." Not that the girl could really know that.

The whole thought of gymnastics and unicycling ended up distracting Toby just a little, as it got him thinking about pogoing and then circuses and then elephants, which made him think of Ella. Before long he was staring off into space, thinking his many distracting thoughts, tuning in from time to time to add something to his notes.
He managed to stay focused enough to understand what Tanner was asking of them, though. Thankful for small favours, Toby flipped open his textbook to the right page and stared at the passage about number three for a bit. Eventually, he raised his hand.
"Basically, you'll enjoy the pleasures of life and stuff," he said, starting with the obvious. "Like... appreciating things and just living and enjoying it. Also, 'cause it was the second cycle too, you'll basically like... reap what you sowed, because the second cycle mentions focus and discipline, but the third cycle is all about kicking back and enjoying the rewards from that. It's interesting that they're both a three, y'know?"
At the phrase 'pleasures of life,' she was immediately transported to a Quidditch pitch: the roar of the crowd, the fresh air, the smell of grass, the exhilaration and energy... But back to class. "Indeed, having a theme repeat for more than one cycle is something I would love to look into. I've wondered if that somehow makes the prediction stronger or more sure, perhaps with a more obvious influence? Alas, a topic of research for another time, and one that would require the focus and discipline you mentioned."

Tempted to ask for unicycle lessons Lux Knew now wasn't the time and remained silent, instead taking notes. The Major Cycles were something she had read about briefly in the textbook but she did not know too much about them so this lesson would be helpful. Maybe they would be on the exam and it was a good thing that she was getting better at Arithmancy because this subject used to confuse her a lot.
Curious to know what her own Major Cycles were, Lux opened her textbook to read about Tanner's third cycle before raising her hand. "I think what the book is saying is that when you are older you will be rewarded for what you did earlier in life. You will also get to relax And enjoy life which is awesome!"
She laughed. "It would be quite awesome, indeed! I have no intentions to relax away my older years, however. Life is meant to be lived out, not relaxed!" Wow, she was really injecting her personal beliefs into the lesson today. Time to stick with the facts, Tanner.

Of course in listening, he noted that Professor Tanner's last cycle number was 3, and following her instructions, he opened his book to the correct chapter.
What everyone was saying was pretty legit as far as the description went, but he felt he wanted to chime in. And so he did. Had raised, Zeke added, "You'll get to enjoy life with your friends and things, which is what most retired people do, right? Just relax and be happy with the people they love and like?"
Why were they assuming she was going to be retired this whole time? Did they know something she didn't? Students sometimes did hear rumors about sackings... No no, she was reading much too much into this. "Friends, yes; things, no. Have you been to my office before, Mr. Rogers? Possessions are not prized highly in my life." As evidenced by the bare necessities and nothing more that filled the small room. "But the friends and loved ones part sounds wonderful!"

Though he had to admit some of the ideas his fellow students came up with were certainly interesting.
Oh...Major CYCLES.
Yeah, Benny got it. Ha ha. There were three of them in each of their lives and the Gryffindor wrote down what Tanner had to say about each of them. Then with his textbook already out in front of him, he turned to the chapter in question after finding the pages in the table of contents. So she had a 3 for her Third Major cycle. Looking up that description in the chapter was when he got confused on what he had to interpret.
"Maybe you get a chance to be more creative and relaxed after years of being more disiplined and logical." It sounded somewhat sensible...at least it had in his head.
Ha. Creativity. That was not her strong suit by any means. "I would gladly take more creativity in my life. Interesting lessons are not easy to come by." It was a daily struggle. How did everyone else do it?

He raised his hand, trying not to repeat the same thing everyone else had already said. "You'll come into a lot of rewarding time, so I think that could mean you really pursue a passion you have - whether it's a hobby or craft or whatever," he explained. Yeah something like that...
"Like unicycling, you mean?" she said with a wink. "Not likely, given that we're talking about my third cycle here. Perhaps something else? Knitting seems practical." Hadn't Jason just told her she should try it last night at dinner?

Third cycle was still a three ... governed the rest of Tanner's life, pretty much. The woman, she was sure, had recently gotten married.
Which meant only one thing. And it explained the vibrancy the professor was displaying.
Raising her hand, Tia chewed her lip a moment before just deciding to suggest it. "Seeing as your third cycle will just be a continuation of unfinished business in your second cycle, well, it governs the pleasures of life. Children." Honestly, Tia wasn't sure there was much more pleasure than that. "Are you expecting, Professor?" Tia asked quietly, after a moment's hesitation. Best to just blurt it out.
She froze. Despite the sound reasoning behind the response, Tiara had no intention of recognizing this. In fact, she had no idea how to respond to that at all. So she didn't. After blinking repeatedly at the girl for ten full seconds, she simply shifted her gaze and called on Mr. Mordaunt. Not going there, kiddo.

He snorted at her mind and the idea that she gave no damns to have said such a thing outloud to Tanner. There again, the Ravie was new to the school and probably knew no better. She could be a lot of fun. Best to befriend her.
His hand still raised, he offered his take on what he thought the Professor could expect in her harvest years. "The book emphasizes reward, Professor Tanner. And creativity. So maybe these years yew've spent finding creative ways to teach ous things will pay out later and you'll never have to ever buy a ticket to a professional quidditch game on accountoff yer taught the keeper how to fly. I could see that happening." In fact, she could live like a king if she knew how to take advantage. Cutty didn't think she knew how to take advantage.
That was a good way to get her thinking back onto the lesson. "Well I doubt that I could go the rest of my life without buying even one," especially since she wouldn't really want to go alone, "but it is appealing, I must admit it." She smiled at the Slytherin, bemused.

"Well thank you," she said, grateful for the acknowledgement. "But... gymnastics at that age is unfortunately highly unlikely. Too bad!"
Right. According to the students, she was in for a good set of twilight years. "Sounds like something to look forward to, thank you!" She smiled at the class, happy to know. "I'm guessing you all are a bit curious as to your own life?" And if not... why on earth not? "So go ahead and give it a go. Please calculate your own three Major Cycle theme numbers. Remember, reduce down your month for cycle 1, day for cycle 2, and year for cycle 3." They probably wouldn't mind that, seeing as the math was simple for a change.
She checked her watch. They needed to keep moving if they were going to have enough time.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
His little attempt at the interpretation for Tanner hadn't been so bad then. Adi smiled at the woman, not because he was pleased about his answer but because he was pleased for her and the third cycle of her life.
And now it was time for them to do their own calculations. He was VERY curious about his own life. Yep! The boy opened his notebook and began to work. This shouldn't be too difficult. Just as long as he didn't make any silly mistakes with the calculations, he'd be okay.
Kace was stunned he got it right. Welp look at that he was getting the hang of Arithmancy. He grinned to himself and nodded to himself. You got this Lecium. Now onto doing his own calcualtions. He grabbed his book and flipped open to the page that the professor assigned to them previously to help with her calculations. He wrote down his birthday on a piece of parchment for the math portion...
He saw there was no 12th cycle so he began to add them separately and see what he got.

He raised his hand and asked the teacher, "Hey Professor Tanner did I do this right?" He just wanted to make sure is all.

So his interpretation wasn't totally out there. If anything, the professor seemed pleased by it. Or at the very least would be happy if her last cycle did indeed happen the way he described it. When Tanner had commented on each of their interpretations, she moved them onto doing the calculations of themselves. So Benny took out a clean sheet of parchment and began by writing out his full birth date before getting to work.

Ah. Now for the fun stuff. And by the fun stuff, he really meant the not-so-fun stuff. Ahem. Arithmancy was really alright before you had to get down to all the adding and the reducing and the numbers. But then again, it's what he signed up for, huh? 'Sides some extra practice couldn't really hurt now that he was getting down into intense OWLs mode and all. Gah. Fifth Year was going to hurt his brain, y'know?
The Gryffindor let out a deep breath before picking up his quill and starting to scribble a little-- Oh wait, these calculations weren't all too bad, actually... They were easy... Maybe even a little TOO easy??? HUH?

Professor Tanner felt that life was for living, and Lux had to agree with that for sure because it was a lot more fun doing things than it was to sit there doing nothing.
The lesson moved on and yep, they were supposed to calculate their own cycles. That should be pretty easy for her since the only math she would actually have to do went with her third one. Shrugging it off, she got to work:
Aw MAN. Professor Tanner really didn't hesitate on getting into this whole maths thing, did she. Norah wrinkled her nose as she scooted her textbook to the side so she had enough room to write those dreaded calculations on her parchment. Sigh. Well, the beginning part was easy enough, just had to remember her birthday, yeah? THAT wasn't hard, seeing as it was the bestest day in the whole entire YEAR. She set her quill to the parchment and began to write, still squinting at her textbook because this cycle stuff was weeeeiiiiirrrrd.

Mkay, Toby could do that, easy. He finally stopped twirling his quill and started writing out his birthday, leaning his elbow on the desk and propping up his head in his hand. From time to time the sixth year's concentration wandered, and he frequently found himself watching the other students of Professor Tanner or simply staring off into space. But eventually he managed it, though Tobias couldn't help but feel frustrated that such a simple task had taken so much effort when it came to concentrating.

Oh hey, look at that. His second and third cycles matched too, just like Tanner's had. Neat. Toby took a glimpse at the textbook too, just to see what the numbers meant, but he immediately halted at his first one and squinted at the page.

Zeke listened, and was growing EAGER to calculate his own. He wanted to know what his life had in store for him. He wanted to know what awesome things to expect, or what he would have to endure. This Gryffindor was a little VERY excited.
When they received the go ahead to start calculating, Zeke didn't hesitate. Quill inked in record time he put the tip to parchment and started scribbling away.

Listening and taking notes. That what Hady had been doing while the Professor was speaking. Oh and of course she had been paying attention as well, she clearly heard every word that had been said even if she hadn't completely understood it all at that moment.
When it came time to find their own calculations using their birthdays she thought she was ready. It appeared to be simple enough...adding numbers and all wasn't exactly hard.
With her quill in her hand she began.
Quote:
Birthday: July 26, 2073
Cycle One: July = 07
0+7=7
Cycle Two: 26th
2+6=8
Cycle Three: 2073

1+2=3
There. Looking over what she'd written she thought it looked alright to her. Now what do they do? Can they check their textbooks yet? She wanted to know what it had to say about her.
Angel looked at the Professor as she spoke now all she had to do was to work out her circles which would be cool she could wait to figure out what she got. She looked around and started to get on with her work.
SPOILER!!: work
First Circle= 4
Second Circle: 1+2 = 3
Third Circle: 2+0+7+2= 11
Master numbers were used here right? Angel decided that she would act like it did until the Professor told her otherwise.

They were going to be calculating their Major Cycle theme numbers now! This sounded interesting. Quill in hand, Penelope got to work calculating her Major Cycle theme numbers.
Quote:

First Cycle: 7
Second Cycle: 3

Third Cycle: 11

Penelope put down her quill and checked over her calculations. Everything looked good. Her first major cycle theme number was 7, her second was 3, and her third was 11. Eleven was a master number, so it did not reduce. Did that mean something special? What did all of the numbers mean? Could they look in their textbooks?

She was paying attention, she was. Except...her gaze kept wandering back to that muggle contraption. The way Professor Tanner controlled it seemed easy, but Beverly had a feeling it wasn't. Nothing ever was easy, so she wanted to to try it. Give it a go and see how simple or challenging it was. She'd leave that in mind for later. Yes.
Right now they were talking about cycle calculations. Turning the page to the one instructed by the Arithmancy professor, Beverly skimmed it over. Month, day and year were needed. Okay. She had this.

SPOILER!!: 1st question
She figured they'd be interested, so she may as well address it. "As some of you may be aware, I was quite the gymnast in my youth." Anyone that had visited her office before was likely to know this, given that there were several picture of her competing. "I learned to unicycle as a young girl. It helped perfect my balance, which certainly became useful as I transitioned to Quidditch later on."
"But that's not the point of the lesson. Today we'll be talking about the Major Cycles." Cycles. Get it? "The calculations are straightforward and all involve your date of birth, which I trust you all know by heart." And if not... well, that was slightly pathetic. "There are three cycles within one's lifetime, though an early death would of course change that. Each cycle is a tool to predict the major influences in our life and help guide our outlook." She cleared her throat before continuing. For this lesson, she would give them all of the information up front so they had plenty of time for the activity.
"The first cycle encompasses childhood, adolescence, and finally maturation into adulthood. Many experts say this lasts 28 years, but it does depend upon the person. Late bloomers would take longer, while early bloomers would take less. The theme of this cycle is found by reducing your birth month." She wrote 'June 21, 2037' on the board. "Since I was born in June, my theme is the number 6." She didn't need to show that calculation; there was nothing to calculate.
"The second cycle covers the typical years of marriage and children. Its theme comes from reducing the day of your birth. Mine would be a three, which comes from reducing 2 plus 1 down to 3." Again, not much to write there. "The third cycle starts at midlife and ends with death. For witches and wizards this tends to be the longest cycle because we live longer than muggles. The theme here comes from reducing your birth year. For me," she wrote '2+0+3+7 = 1+2 = 3' on the board, "this is also a 3."
"Please open your textbooks to chapter 21 and look through the theme interpretations. What do you think I can expect for my third cycle?" She wasn't there yet, thankfully.
Wellll, she had said birth number so that meant that she was sort of on the right track, and that was all that really mattered to her. AJ opened up her textbook and flipped to the correct page. Okay, so all she had to do was find information about the number three. That couldn't be too hard.
Her eyes scanned the information and she tried to think of how to summarize it. Here goes nothing... Her hand was in the air. "It looks like you will be very creative and surrounded by friends." There was nothing wrong with that. Oh, and it looked like the professor was a bit of a party girl in her youth. AJ decided not to bring that up.
SPOILER!!: 2nd question/activity thingy :D
How did she know that was coming? Hopefully this part wouldn't be too bad. All you really had to do was not mess up your math too bad, and that was something she couldn't exactly promise. AJ was going to try though. They were simple enough numbers. Why didn't they have calculators here? That way they could actually make sure that their math was right. It seems like the professors liked them to fail... just saying.
Quill to the paper, she started to write out her birthday. Her tongue was between her teeth as she started her calculation.
A light bulb was going off in her head. Eleven was important. She remembered reducing that number before only to be told that she wasn't supposed to. Were you supposed to use that same method with EVERY calculation? AJ wasn't sure.

This really was an easy set of maths calculations. There wasn't a long list of complicated calculations for them to solve and Grayson was well chuffed with that. Nothing made a lesson quite as bad and boring as a set of long, complicated calculations, even if this was an Arithmancy lesson.
So, picking up his quill, the sixth year started scribbling away in his notes.

You know what the best part of Arithmancy was? The meanings. Grayson glanced down at his textbook and then around at the class. Were they allowed to take a peek or what? Because he was kinda itching to find out exactly what his one meant.
And it'd better be a good one. Just saying.

As usual, Janelle took careful notes as the Professor explained the topic of the day. Then they had a task to do, interpret Professor Tanner's third Cycle. Janelle opened her book and found the corresponding information for the Third Cycle Number. Number three sounded like a good number to have........totally positive and all. After giving it some thought, she raised her hand to give her answer. "It sounds like your third cycle will be great. I think it will be half and half. You'll get to do exactly what you want to do and it will make you happy. Then when you're not being all creative and using your imagination, you can just kick back and relax. Sounds good to me."
Then it was calculation time.......not exactly Janelle's favorite. She was determined to get it right though. Picking up her quill, she wrote down her birthdate and got to work. Fortunately, it didn't seem too bad........for now. Janelle suspected that they would have to interpret the numbers next. At least the calculation part was black or white. Either you got it right or you got it wrong. The interpretation, however, was another story. If you had a million different people, you could get a million different interpretations. Janelle finished reducing her numbers and put down her quill. Now she just had to wit to hear the next step.

SPOILER!!: Adi's work
Date of Birth: January 17th, 2070
Cycle 1:1 Cycle 2: 1+7= 8 Cycle 3: 2+0+7+0= 9
All done!
She began to circulate the room. First up, Adi. "Good. Well done."

He wrote down his birthday on a piece of parchment for the math portion...
He saw there was no 12th cycle so he began to add them separately and see what he got.
SPOILER!!: Calculations
Birthday: December 22, 2069
1st Cycle: 1+2= 3
2nd Cycle: 2+2= 4
3rd Cycle:

He raised his hand and asked the teacher, "Hey Professor Tanner did I do this right?" He just wanted to make sure is all.
Hearing her name called, she hastened over to Kace. "Ah, look at your second cycle. I see a Master!" Common error. Maybe she should've mentioned it before they began. Reminders never hurt, yes?

So Benny took out a clean sheet of parchment and began by writing out his full birth date before getting to work.
Hmm...two nines. The Gryffindor wondered what they could mean, keeping himself from actually looking until they were told to move on.
Scanning, checking... Yes. "Well done! Sit tight for a few moments." They'd move on soon.

Tanner nodded. "Well done, nice work." Some of them had fairly easy birthdays, at least. That was a bonus.

She set her quill to the parchment and began to write, still squinting at her textbook because this cycle stuff was weeeeiiiiirrrrd. PHEW. That wasn't that bad....yet.
Tiara actually laughed when she saw Norah's. "Yes, a very important number thing. Keep it like that."

Oh hey, look at that. His second and third cycles matched too, just like Tanner's had. Neat. Toby took a glimpse at the textbook too, just to see what the numbers meant, but he immediately halted at his first one and squinted at the page.
On to Tobias... Also good. "Good work. Hold on, we'll be moving on soon."

Weeeeeeee.... What did they mean? He wanted to know what they meant! Quickly he looked between his parchment and his book before peering up toward the Professor. Could they get stuck into it? Analysing and stuff? Or did they have to wait?
"Good catch, Rogers. Twelve, not thirteen." She didn't enjoy seeing her students make mistakes, but she really did like seeing them catch their errors.

With her quill in her hand she began.
There. Looking over what she'd written she thought it looked alright to her. Now what do they do? Can they check their textbooks yet? She wanted to know what it had to say about her.
Next up was a Slytherin. "Yes, good work," she said after looking over her work.

Master numbers were used here right? Angel decided that she would act like it did until the Professor told her otherwise.
"Alright, what do we have, Miss Valentine?" she asked as she arrived at Angel's desk. "Right, a Master. Excellent."

Eleven was a master number, so it did not reduce. Did that mean something special? What did all of the numbers mean? Could they look in their textbooks?
"Good catch with the 11 there, Miss Wright." What a smart little Claw!

Right now they were talking about cycle calculations. Turning the page to the one instructed by the Arithmancy professor, Beverly skimmed it over. Month, day and year were needed. Okay. She had this.

Anyone that had visited her office before was likely to know this, given that there were several picture of her competing.
Another one had caught the Master, if only eventually. "Nice catch, Miss Valentine." She nodded her approval.

"Ah, someone showing all their work! That does a professor's heart good, it does." Heart health was important to this lesson, obviously.

And Janelle would round out her checking... "Yes. Solid work, Miss Guidry." She really was taking after her sister.
It looked like they had all finished their calculations. "So common mistakes. Don't forget about Master Numbers; 11 and 22 don't get reduced!" The book didn't have interpretations for 33, so it wasn't worth mentioning. "Also, make sure you are using the month for cycle 1 and the day for cycle 2. I don't remember anyone doing that incorrectly, but it would be easy to mess up."
Now for the interesting part. "So. For the practical bit today, you'll be conducting a survey. You'll have..." she checked her watch again, "a half hour to find two people and calculate their Major Cycles. Obviously you shouldn't be using someone from this class, as that would do us no good. Make sure you write the person's name, birth date, and Cycles. Meet back here in 30 minutes. Go!"
OOC: This is an RP challenge and the main activity of the lesson. Pick two other members not currently attending this class. You can RP with them anywhere in the school, since 30 minutes should be enough time IC for your charrie to move around. Try not to repeat members, but if you have to it's not a huge deal. You can be doing both RPs simultaneously, and you should have 2-3 posts for each one. Wrap up your RPs and post your charrie back here by 48 hours from the time of this post. If you have questions just shoot me a VM/PM!

So this was basically a rat race around the castle, hmm? Every man for himself as they tried to track down anyone and everyone not in the lesson. That meant--PROFESSORS! It could also mean those who elected NOT to take Arithmancy class, but who had time to track them down? Not Kate!
Kate collected her quill, parchment, notes, and textbook then bee-lined for the door. She was going to try and track down Quigley and Professor Cassie first. They were the first two that came to mind. Plus, they were really fun to be around, even if Quigley probably wouldn't agree with that statement.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Awesome! His calculations were correct. Of course they were. He was good at basic Math, after all. Hehe. Alrightey... moving on! What an interesting activity. They'd have to be looking at older students, yes? The ones that opted not to take Arithmancy.
Heh. They were supposed to be in other classes at that time... some of them at least. And Professors, too.
Well, this was going to be a challenge.
Adi supposed he'd have to walk... no, run around he Castle looking for persons who had not been in this Arithmancy class. He'd take the first two he came across because time constraint and all. The Puffer grabbed his book and quill before making his way out of the class. Let the scurrying about begin!
