It was particularly warm inside the classroom. December brought with it the freezing weather that usually turned the old professor's knees to creaking, rusty joints. Hence, the classroom was warm, warmer than the rest of the castle. The desks were spread out in three rows as usual with name tags on them that assigned students to their chairs. A bunch of belts were piled on the side of Botros' big desk in front of the blackboard. The old man himself was standing and leaning sideways on his desk on the small dais, his cane was in his hand though he didn't need it for support.
Walk in, take a seat and keep the chatting to a minimum, this isn't your first Ancient Runes class this year so you already know that professor Botros doesn't appreciate loud chatter.

- As mentioned, this isn't the first class, your character should know the professor so please act like it. :)
- Class HAS STARTED.
Gabe smiled just a little, which probably looked strange and creepy on the older man he was emulating. He had his guess, though...because while that might've been obvious to just anyone, he'd only told one person about that ambition in specifics.
...and, well...the dog had just admitted to taking twelve owls. They'd had that conversation, too.
"...and you're Tobias Tempus."
At the yes, Toby allowed himself a smile too, except on his dog form it just made his tail wag again. Though still, he didn't realise. He'd got it right? That was an awesome feeling.
But still Toby stood by for Gabriel's guess, eyes on the dude in front of him as he wondered for perhaps the millionth time who the gentleman was.
"That's right. I'm Toby," the boy said with a nod, which must have looked ridiculous coming from the dog. He didn't bother to make any name corrections; that wasn't the point right now. The Hufflepuff was about to ask who Gabe's disguise was, but at that moment he heard Botros' voice ring out and turned to give him his attention.

"Then give me the parchment you wrote what you want to be on to make sure you got your look right, after that you can take off the belt and put it on the desk." Botros came to stand next to the mirror. "Class is dismissed, you may pack your things and leave then." He'd tidy up with the elves after they all left, it was no problem.
Ooh, moment of truth. He got to see just how the disguise had worked. Toby turned to smile at Gabe again, and held up a hand in a sort of... wave of thanks (again, picturing a dog doing that was bizarre), and said, "Thanks for working with me, Gabriel." Then it was time to SEE this disguise and Toby stepped in front of the mirror to see.
Dude... duuuuude. That was really cool, it was like he was ACTUALLY looking at Staco. Tobias experimented for a few seconds, waving at the mirror (and seeing the dog hold up a paw), moving his head around (which the dog did exactly the same, to his great amusement), and finally smiling at the sight, at which point Toby finally noticed the tail-wagging.
He'd have liked to have stand in front of that mirror for ages, looking closer and experimenting to see how the disguise portrayed different things, but there were more students waiting to see their reflections. Toby allowed himself one last lingering look at his beloved dog in the mirror, before stepping away again.
After adjusting his parchment to say 'Staco, my border collie', Toby handed it to Botros with an accompanying "Great lesson, sir. Thanks," then took off the belt and added it to the pile on the desk. It was kinda sad, though, because now he missed Staco on top of everything else. The Hufflepuff did his best to focus on the fact that it had been a good lesson, and went off to pack up his things before heading off.

AJ had been about to guess who the girl was standing before her. At least she hadn't led on with that in her question so she was just going to play this off. Nothing to see here.
Now that she knew what she was to be guessing AJ's mind went back to the giggling. That was a girl thing so that meant that whoever was behind this disguise was a girl. Boys just didn't giggle. Unless... he was trying to throw her off her game because HE wanted the prize at the end of the lesson. Is that it, mister? Oh, AJ was on to you. He/she was eyed.
Outside. "Good answer. I love the outdoors." Nuuuu. She was giving away secrets and answering questions that didn't need to be answered. Don't go giving things away, Valentine. It was her turn to answer. "I'm in the best house ever." Okay, she couldn't leave it at that. "Gryffindor."
But, once she had said the greatest house there really shouldn't have been any question one which one that was.
What to ask next? AJ tapped her chin as she thought about it. "Who is your best friend?" That could be super helpful.
Clues! The PERSON was feeding him clues!!!! He noted the outdoorseyness of them, but still wasn't sure if the identity of said person was male or female, let alone their true and complete identity.
As soon as the person said BEST house, he thought Gryffindor, and their response confirmed that. Okay. So, a GRYFFINDOR, that liked outdoors - nothing out of the ordinary there - and... thought of their house as the best - again, nothing new there.
But best friends?
"Uuuhhh... lots," he mused, cause really, picking was SO HARD. "Ezra, Frankie, Hady, Paige..." did he need to continue?
He was about to ask his next question... but then the Professor went and burst his bubble.
Boooo.
He wanted to guess!

At least he'd get to see Ashely, or well, himself.
"It's Zeke, by the way," he informed his partner before gesturing for them to go to Professor Botros. He wanted to see!...
And he wasn't disappointed. Seeing Ashley's face again - even if it wasn't hers, was just the bestest thing in the world. He missed her, deeply. "Thanks, Professor," he said as he handed over his slip of parchment. After that he removed the best from around his waist, placing it onto the Professor's desk before gathering his things and departing the classroom.

It was time to go. Or well the lesson was over anyhow according to their Professor. Hady and her partner hadn't had the chance to finish guessing who each other was but that was okay. She was ready to see how she looked in the mirror.
"I'm Hady," she told her partner quietly with a small grin just so the other girl would know before making her way up front. When it was her turn she stepped up in front of the mirror only able to stare at herself silently.
After a few seconds the small girl unclipped the belt from her waist and removed the parchment from her pocket handing it to the Professor. "Thanks Professor." She nearly whispered still in a daze about being able to see Anna.
Quickly setting the belt on the Professor's desk she moved to her own desk, collected her things and made a quick exit from the room. She seriously needed some time to think.
Norah beamed at Zander because YEAH, they both got it right! She had only half gotten the word 'yep,' which is a VERY short word, y'know, when he'd already run away. Okay? So much for that high five, Mr. Zander Prefect Sparkle Non-Appreciator Guy. The third year walked over to her desk and packed her bag quickly, rushing over to the mirror in the LEAST skippy way ever, because she still got to pretend to be Marigold for a bit longer, right? She looked and looked in the mirror, grinning at herself but it didn't LOOK like her smile 'cause no dimples or anything. Just a Mari smile, with blonde Mari hair. Heheh this was SO COOL.
She backed away from the mirror reluctantly to give someone else a turn, and made one last 'I'm in Charge' Prefecty face before unclipping her belt and putting it on the desk. Sigh. Back to a Norah face, then. And Norah hair, which was even more annoying. The Puffer pulled her slip of paper out of her pocket and handed it to Professor Botros as she smiled at him. The same old Norah dimple-y smile. "Thanks for a great lesson, Professor! Did she just call Ancient Runes a great lesson? Man, stuff was getting weird.

Bestie? The best bestie, to be exact? Hehe. The Gryffindor had definitely already figured stuff. But Adi could play along too. "Who needs one of those? No, I prefer to be alone.'' Was the expression on his face a serious one? If it had been, that didn't last long. Naturally.
Adi grinned. "Yeah, I do have one of those. He's quite a handful I can tell you that much.'' The joking was also another trait that would confirm Benny's guess.
Benny eyed Adi at the first response he was given. He had a feeling the Hufflepuff was teasing but if he really didn't need one, he could certainly leave so he could find out that he really needed one. The Gryffindor was pretty sure the other boy would be miserable about him...and AJ, both technically his best friends.
But then he changed his tune without prompting, claiming he had a best friend but he was a handful. "Well his best friend isn't that much better," Benny teased back before sticking out his tongue at him. "Nice...Aditya Rehman," he added, naming the Hufflepuff with hs full name to claim the identification.

But oh look, Professor Botros was ending the lesson. Looked like they had completed the task just in time. He took his turn in front of the mirror to see the Weasley form that he himself had presented before the others. Yep...fiery red hair. Scar along his one arm there. It was a pretty good representation of the man he had chosen. Finished, he stepped away to allow the next student their chance, removing his belt in the process.
"Great lesson Professor..." he told Botros as he set his belt on the desk as instructed. Then he headed back to his desk to gather his belongings and head out of the class with Adi and the others.
