OOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the check in area first.
Once you've signed in to notify Healer Murdoch that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical attention, you may take a seat in the Waiting Room. Remember, there is only one Healer so don't go getting your wands in a knot if you have to wait more than two minutes to be seen. Everyone will receive the proper amount of attention they deserve.
So, take a seat and relax - no need to aggravate your condition - Healer Murdoch will see you soon.
OOC: Please keep in mind that there may be many people in the hospital wing at the same time. Inevitably, time lines overlap, and I will try my best to get to you as soon as I possibly can. Also, Let's try to keep the chatting to a minimum.
Thornton was worried worried worried. He and Alexa had made sandwiches in the kitchen together and now she was acting all weird and he'd heard a story about ice cream here being tainted or something and now he was all worked up and
BREATHE.
Sitting down in the waiting room, Thornton swung his legs as he waited to be seen. If it WAS the food, the Healer could help him, right?

It had been a year since the healer had given her the antiallergen potion last term, so Penelope was back to get the potion for this year. She hadn't expected anyone else to be here, so she was suprised to see Thornton waiting to see the healer. "Thornton, are you alright? I think we should get Lex to see the healer. She's been acting really weird."

Thornton looked up and smiled weakly at Penelope. "I.. I don't." He looked back down at his shoes at the mention of Lex, worried.
"I spent time with her before she started acting weird and I'm worried that maybe I'll start acting weird, too..." he trailed off, not wanting to get into the intricacies of the situation.

Penelope smiled at Thornton. He looked really worried that he would act all weird like Lex. "Whatever you did with Lex before she started acting weird probably wasn't what made her weird, so you should be okay. We'll have to talk to Lex to find out for sure. Maybe we should try to get her to see the healer."

Healer Murdoch tried not to laugh as she looked over the sign in sheet. Everyone knew that Cambridge was not a normal girl. She didn't have to eat anything to be mad, it was just how she was. And now, here was this little first year thinking he was going mad because he ate the same food as the headgirl.
Keeping her laughter in check, the healer called the boy back. "Thornton Baines, you can come back now."
Gabriel couldn't even look up. He was STILL trembling like a trapped animal....and STILL about to cry. The water was so built up and thick in his scleras that it was a miracle tears weren't already falling.
What. Was. WRONG. With. Him?
He felt irrationally upset...and like he was being suffocated...and......the thought of Zahra helping him to the castle was only tripling his distress. She always tried to hurt him. If he left with her, she'd dispose of him in some horrific way....and then hide his body. NO ONE WOULD FIND HIM FOR YEARS........
Girls. They were always all smiles until they got you alone...and that's when the terror started....
Yes, Gabriel knew this was far-fetched and an exaggeration...but thinking about these things were keeping his mind busy. Making him able to....not cry....
........and where had...........CB.........come from?
Okay. So, not only was he about to have a sobbing breakdown...but now he was flushing redder than his sister's lipstick.
Gabe shook a bit harder. ".........CB.........can...."...help him, he meant. At least....he'd have his life. That was something...and he did want to spend more time with her...Not like this, obviously...but...you know....
Please don't cry. Please don't cry...He was mentally chanting to himself.
Well.
Coral-Bay could honestly say she'd never been here before. Simply because she'd never had a reason to be. And that was all fine and dandy by her. She'd been near it before though. For reading purposes. But enough of that. She had a Gabriel Banner sorta slung over her. Height difference made this a lot more awkward than she'd thought it could ever be.
Well... maybe not.
It was still fairly awkward. She held his arm over her shoulders, her other arm was around his waist and several little butterflies fluttered around inside her stomach. She looked up at him for a moment, silently before guiding him over to the seats. He was heavy. But you wouldn't hear that from her. She wasn't going to admit that. 'Cause she was helping him. That sort of comment wasn't going to help anyone.
She bit her lip and looked up at him again, "Are you feeling any better?"

Gabe had struggled the entire way. Not against CB....but against himself. The urges to bolt and run were STRONG...but the means to do so escaped him. There was no running. What Gabe was now recognizing as a minor panic attack had left him incapable; having really knocked him on his backside.
...and that, paired with his embarrassment....Well, it was a relief he hadn't curled up in a ball (on the spot!) and cried. It could've happened. It had before. At home one time....after Gage had planted things in his room; laughing in his stupid way...with his stupid lewd jokes...and his stupid face.
A tear tracked down Gabriel cheek.
...and CB was touching him...Helping and supporting his weight. He was so uncomfortable...no matter if he DID like her. Yes, he did. Whatever....Not like he'd ever do anything about it. Truth of the matter was the he was just too....anxious...and scared. Terrified, really. CB was....brilliant....but Gabe couldn't handle things. Closeness. It was a fight to even speak with her at times...with his personal space intact.
With her question, Gabe just shook his head; another tear falling.

Vinnie walked into the waiting room with Isla, breathing hard. She was so so worried about her friend. How had she missed the steps down the treehouse?! Why was the treehouse so high? Jesus, didnt they know about safety and stuff?! It should be charmed somehow. Ugh. "here we are", she smiled at her best friend trying to look as okay as possible. The brunette didnt want to worry her any further...her arm was twisted enough, didnt need to twist her brain.
"Sit down, hun." Hopefully this wouldnt take too long, after all this was AN EMERGENCY!

Isla had been trying to walk and breathe as normally as possible without screaming out in pain from what her arm was causing her. She couldn't stop the tears falling down her face though. No. But she was going to be as strong as she could by not screaming.
They finally made it to the hospital wing which seemed like forever from the treehouse and she really did appreciate Vinnie coming with her. She would have never found it if she went alone. She sat down as Vinnie said and slightly yelped as her arm shot another sharp pain. She sniffled and used her other hand to wipe up her tears. "This is taking forever." She muttered. She really wasn't trying to be a grouch but she was in major pain and she had never had broken a bone before. It was all new to her.
More tears started to pour down her face as she winced with the random pains her arm was giving her. She had to deal with it so she sat there waiting for the Healer to come around.
After signing in, Jonas took a seat and bit his lip with guilt. Some people who were waiting were crying. He sighed. He had a hurt ankle. Weather it was broken or sprained, he didn't known. All he knew is that it hurt. Jonas sighed and tried to find a place to prop his leg up. Finding non, he decided to just let it rest on the ground. He then looked over at said patiebt wgo was crying. He wondered if she would accept a hug. He knww though that it wouldn't help the pain.

Vinnie sat next to Isla and watched her. it felt terrible to see her like this...she must be in so much pain. Hopefully the healer would come soon and make her feel better. They had this serum for healing bones right?! They'd surely use that on her and everything would be fine again.
And then she started crying....nooooo. This was so sad."heyyyy ketchup", the brunette wiped the tears off of her besties face and side hugged her carefully. At least she was here with her to comfort her. It would have been so much worse if Isla had been alone.

Moving closer to the bench, Coral attempted to seat the boy, struggling a little to do it slowly and gently, but she managed it by allowing their sides to touch completely, grabbing him a little tighter, and sitting in the same way she wanted to help him sit. Once he was seated though, she flashed him a shy smile with a little hint of red gracing her cheeks before sliding down the bench a little ways to give him some room. Just like always.
Now that he was situated and she was at the usual distance, she was free to think. Especially about what was courteous or expected of her as the escort. She was kind of tempted to go.... But she couldn't. Not until she knew he was okay and that the healer was going to take good care of him even if that meant missing a good portion of her second favorite class. She took peeks at him as they sat in silence, waiting.
She fidgeted a little before her eyes lifted to him and lingered for a little while; quickly shying away at any sign of movement from the boy. ".... Can I get you anything? Maybe water or something? I could look around..."

Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
Before long the little trio had made its way down to the third floor. There hadn't been much conversation but then again, Ben wasn't much for talking and Angel still seemed pretty out of it so Adi was probably not trying that hard to hold a one-sided chat. Maybe she was taking the desire to rest from earlier to heart and closed herself off to the world as she remained in his arms.
So after they were signed in, Ben led the way to the seats of the waiting room. He found free chairs and slowly leaned down to ease Angel into one to sit and rest while they waited for the healer. " Shouldn't be long now," he assured her. "Then it'll feel better."
Angel was suddenly put down on a chair... she signed in because she knew there was no way she was going to get away with not coming now.. she put her head on Benny's shoulder because well her head was hurting her so much. "My head is hurting so much." Angel pouted, seriously she wanted the headache to go away.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi had silently followed Benny all the way to the hospital wing and now stood in the waiting room. Now that Benny had things under control, he wasn't needed, right? Because he didn't see the point of sticking around. They didn't seem to notice him there, anyway.
With that thought, the Hufflepuff quietly exited the room. There was just enough time for him to grab his stuff before he headed off to breakfast and his first class.

He had just sat down himself when Angel leaned against him, her head resting against his arm not quite on top of it since they were different heights. Ben felt bad as he listened to what the younger Gryffindor was saying. "We're trying to make it better, Angel," the fourth year said before looking up at Adi as the Hufflepuff moved again, making his way towards the hospital wing door as if to leave.
"Adi..." he called but his friend was already out the door. Benny just hoped that nothing was wrong with them, but for now he was going to have to focus on Angel. They just had to wait on the healer.
