Another giant, silver cat roamed down to the lake and drifted over toward the beech tree beside it. Noticing students nearby, the nundu opened its mouth in a lazy roar; only instead of nundu breath coming out, the patronus delivered a message in Anastasia Truebridge's voice:

Attention, anyone on the grounds: We are currently hunting down the mysterious and glowing Fairy Tale Book of Fairy Tales. If you are interested in helping, search your surroundings and then report back to the library. We MUST find this book!

Its job done, the nundu disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Chillin'. That's what Heather had been doing. Just hanging out under this here tree, enjoying being outside and away from the noisy common room. In no way had she been napping under aforementioned tree. Nope. Not her.

But something happened that made her sit up straight from her slumped position under the tree she was most definitely NOT sleeping under. A voice. One that sounded very much like the Headmistress'. Talking about a book and finding said book. "Zzzzz...*snort* Whaa-what?" Oh, what was that? A patronus? And everyone was actively looking for the stupid fairy tale book. Finally.

Heather jumped up and started searching around the tree, even looking in the branches. But she didn't see it there...

Andrew left his office and made his way out of the Greenhouses. He was almost sure that no book was lurking there. So he figured he'd start looking near his Greenhouses. Maybe find students who would help him do so, too. It would definitely be much more helpful if he was not doing so alone. One pair of eyes could only cover so much area.

The Herbologist's eyes scanned the area around the tree but that of course was not enough. They were looking for a mischievous book so it could be hiding. So Walton decided to scan the area closely. And just to be sure, he figured it would be helpful to ask the people who were lurking around, just in case one or two were living under some rock and still had no idea what was going on around the castle.

"Has anyone seen an old, glowing book?" He called out with a loud and composed voice. Walton didn't shout, the book once made him do so but he took no responsibility in that.

Abby blushed and said "I would love to go out with you Tyler, cause we have similiar hobbies and i don't think black cats are bad luck, i love black cats" Abby couldnt believe that Tyler had just asked her out

And there was a professor person. Was he supposed to lead the outdoor search party? Obviously, if what he said was any indication. "Nope, no cursed fairy tale book here......yet." Since did seem to magically appear and disappear at it's own will. "Has anyone tried Accio-ing it?" Maybe that would be quicker than simply searching all over the very large school and grounds. Unless it couldn't be summoned, in which case her suggestion was stupid and forget it.

Also, was she the only student on the grounds willing to help? Sad.

He was sure of two things, the fact that the book was not nearby and that not many cared about the book threatening the castle. Oh, except for this lady. Who was making suggestions, why did they even try? Poor hooligans.

The man fixed the girl with a look trying his best not to use sarcasm. "I am sure that occurred to everyone before setting up search parties and alarming the school," he told her.

He cast a quick look around before deciding it was enough. "Let's go to the library to meet with the others," He told her then started walking there. She wanted to come? no?

Maybe the last four years won't be bad here, things were already ten times better than they were at his school in Salem.

Well, he might've been trying not to sound sarcastic, but she certainly felt stupid for her suggestion. And what was with no one else even paying attention? Seriously, this stupid book had been floating around this school the whole term, messing with people's lives, memories and stuff.

Anyway, time to go back inside and into the library. Heather didn't say anything this time because what was there to say? Besides 'sorry we didn't find the book' which she felt wouldn't really be appreciated right now. Besides, it wasn't her fault.

Jasmine's search was going nowhere fast and she was running out of time. Finding a clear spot, she sat down and tried to get her thoughts together. Taking the crystal out of her pocket, she held it in her hand and stared at it. "Alright crystal, you haven't failed me so far. I really need your help." She knew knew it wasn't the crystal's fault that she had been unsuccessful. She just hadn't asked the right questions.

Then all of a sudden, Jasmine had a thought. Maybe the necklace hadn't been placed randomly after all. Maybe its location had some kind of significance. There were two places that Jasmine could think of that had some kind of significance. The first one, Professor Cassie couldn't possibly know about. Then again, she was the Divination teacher. She did have the inner eye. Jasmine rushed to her most special place by the lake and looked around. Nothing. She realized that she should have consulted the crystal first. She wasted time for nothing.

Not about to make the same mistake twice, Jasmine asked the crystal about her second possibility. Holding it up and watching it dangle, she said, "Is my necklace by the beech tree?" Bingo. That was a big fat circular yes. Jasmine broke into a run, not stopping until she reached the tree. Frantically looking around for several minutes, Jasmine finally looked up. There it was. Hanging from a low branch was her necklace. Breathing a sigh of relief, Jasmine stood on tiptoe and retrieved the necklace. Not wasting a moment, she fastened it around her neck and vowed not to take it off again. Checking her watch, she knew she'd better get a move on. Mission completed, Jasmine headed back to the castle.

After Kace came back from the great hall, he was gonna check but he spent a lot of time here. He liked to clear his mind and just look at the nature. As climbed up and managed to find a comfortable spot, he got out his crystal and was gonna the determining question. Was this trip worth something? He took a deep breath and asked, "Is my sketchbook in this treehouse?" and he concentrated and waited for a few minutes. While he was waiting he looked out at the scenery. He breathed in the fresh air and just loved it here. He smiled and then saw his crystal moving out of the corner of his eye.

He saw the crystal moving out of the corner of his eye and saw it moving back and forth. Ughhh nope. It wasn't here. He even looked around and couldn't find it with his own eyes. What could be an obvious spot? He thought and thought and then the thought came to him! He grinned and knew what place to look next. He went to go and check his common room or his bedroom. He would decide when he get here.

His search had led him all the way down towards the lake. Or the beech tree near it. Jeez, it was just his luck that his personal item had to be so freaking far away from the castle. Sure, it wasted enough lesson time for him to be back in time for class to be over but what if this went over class time? He kinda wanted to have a snack, you know. All this searching was making him dead hungry.

ANYWAYS. He was here. And he was gonna sit down by the beech tree and pretend that nobody else existed. It was the only way to focus.

Speaking of focusing, that was what he was doing right now. Focusing and taking deep breaths so that he could clear his mind of all thought. It was a little harder this time round because of the fact that his stomach was growling and his mind was, naturally, thinking about all the food he could have once he was doe with the lesson.

FOCUS.

"Is my dragon ornament near the lake? By the beech tree?" The crystal seemed to move around in a circle, which made his heart leap, but before he knew it, the crystal did something it did back in class. It moved straight across, forming a semi-circle shape.

DEADPAN.

What in the name of Merlin?! Talk about trolling someone. Jeez, couldn't it give him a straight answer?

"IS. MY DRAGON ORNAMENT. NEAR THE BEECH TREE?!" The crystal moved straight across, without moving around in a circle first. No, then. And that meant that he had to move on to the next location.

Sigh.
