The lake a little crowded for your liking? Fancy a nice quiet place to read your favourite book? The beech tree is a perfect shelter from the sunshine as well as the splashing going on from the main area of the lake. This tree holds plenty of leaves and depending on the season, they could either be waving harmlessly over your head or become your very own cushion!

Now that floating Dot wasn't a main priority, Kyroh quickly put his wand back into his holster. It really didn't occur to him that Dot was wearing a skirt while climbing because, they couldn't be that much different from pants right? Pushing himself off the back of the tree he looked over at the hanging Slytherin. "I thought it was too cold for trees to grow in Durmstrang? 'Cept for evergreens." And who would want to climb THAT? They looked painful.
Anyways. Leaning over Kyroh held his hands out. "You gotta drop your foot and i'll help you up!" Come on. He was here to HELP cause he was big and strong and GRRR."And THEN you can sit beside me!...Or fall. One might happen I dunno which yet."

GOSH. HER RAP. It was TOTALLY AWESOME! Like the best ever...which was why it needed to longer. LIKE WHY NOT?
With her notebook and quill in hand, Abbi made her way towards the lake where she gazed about looking for somewhere not too sunny to sit. It wasn't that she didn't like the warm, she HELLA liked it, it was just that she couldn't exactly write with the sun shinning BOOM SMACK in her face.
Eventually she headed towards the beach tree, whilst hoping it's branches would be her savior of the day. PHEW. SHADE at last. The fourth year plonked down and then the scribbles began.
Again...her rap was TOTALLLY WAY TOO COOL!
Eden had left Daisy in her dorm, but she had one of her marshmallow shooters that her dad had gotten her right before she had left for school. Phoenix had the other one, but that was okay. WELL HELLO. The fourth year at once put her KINDA private notebook away (aka she sat on it) and then smiled towards Eden, the cake baker. "Hey gurl!"There was a drop of sassiness in her tone, not the rude type according to Abbi though, more the we're both too cool. YOU KNOW? "YEAH. DUH." Why did she even ask when food was involved? The answer would close to always be a YES. Her hand immediately extended and she waited for that thing called marshmallow heavens.
Huh?
WHAT was THAT now? The item in Eden's hand had Abbi's FULL attention. "Is that like a shooting thing?" SO COOL OMG. Cept common, Eden where was the fun in NOT hitting people? Hmmm? "I dare you to hit the next person to walk by. " HEHEHEHEHEHE. Now this would be fun times!
"Terribly sorry," Sophie replied breezily at the accusation of making Toby lose his page. The worst thing she could've ever done. She felt terrible. So terrible that she just smiled and wiggled around, getting comfier using Tobes as her own personal pillow.
Soph hummed and closed her eyes when Toby began fiddling with her hair, very visibly content - until he began lightly teasing further about how awful it was to spend the time with her, and she snorted, followed by giggling at his hand over her face.
She let it stay there, unbothered by his antics, and grinned a positively mischievous smile at the suggestion of a prank. On two someones. The only two someones that they would ever prank. "Pavy," she hissed delightedly, sitting up and peeking around to make sure people weren't listening. Or that THEY weren't there. Hehehehe. "What's the plan?" She would be down with anything.
*SNORT*
"Pavy?" Toby repeated as Soph looked around for eavesdroppers. He was first tickled by the word, and then more amused, and then found himself out right GIGGLING at it. Oh man, that was beautiful. This nerd, man. THIS NERD RIGHT HERE.
Ehe. Ehehehehe. Ahaaaa. Whew. Man.
SO THE PRANK.
"Well, uhh..." Pressure was ON NOW. Toby wasn't THAT good at thinking up ingenious plans; he just liked the idea of getting on over on the pair of them. The Hufflepuff leant back, propping himself up with his hands. "Nothing too big. Maybe just a traditional water balloon thing, but we can use magic to make it better. I figured you'd help with ideas for that bit." Pause. Grin. "We could try and make it look like Thompson pranked Fuller, and the other way 'round."
MAYBE. That would be difficult though, but soooooo worth it if they pulled it off.

"Not all of them. Not near the center." But what were they even talking about? She'd go hunt out an evergreen to show Kyroh at some point in the future, but for right now, she was just trying really hard not to all out of a tree.
It was awfully nice of Kyroh to drag her up into the branches, and she held tight to her new best friend (the tree, not the Kyroh). The Kyroh did get a smile, though. A small one. "No falling today."
Only... one thing. "How are we getting back down?"

Sophie beamed, the proudest of grins stretching across her face as she successfully made Toby giggle so freely. She loved getting that kind of reaction out of him, certain that he never looked cuter than when he was heartily laughing about something.

Leaning in slightly as he Tobes starting explaining his thought process, Soph nodded slowly, squinting slightly as she analyzed everything he said. Hm. HM. So it was a half-baked plan. He had an idea - well, multiple ideas, sort of, and she wondered if they'd be able to incorporate all factors he wanted into one prank - but... he needed her expertise. Obviously.
"Do you have the water balloons?" First things first. And... hmm. How could they make it look like one betrayed the other? "D'you think they prank each other at school? I mean, they'd have to do that, like... behind closed doors so the students wouldn't know about it and get ideas that they're free for pranking or whatever. So we'd have to... probably do it in their offices, if we want one to think it's the other? Somehow?" She rubbed her chin, fully taking on the role as an evil mastermind of sorts, and hummed thoughtfully.
"One of us could distract them while the other... I dunno, sets up some sort of contraption in one of the offices? And the distracting person could bait them to the office and make sure they enter first and get the wrath of it? But then they'd probably know it's us, y'know, and we'd have to go into it knowing they might get us back right away or whatever." Or they could get a loss of points or detention.
...Hey, it could happen.

IF they couldn't get inside, seeing as it was likely that a lot of professors here kept their offices magically locked. "And we could do it while they're at dinner or something... although..."Although it was probably too much work to make it seem like the other one had done it. "Maybe we could just get both their offices, and make sure we're faaaaaaaar away when it happens."
Okay, so no, Toby hadn't put much thought into this. He was no Ravenclaw, and his pranks had always been small and not needing big extravagant blueprints.
"Here's my idea," Toby turned around and flopped onto his stomach so he was facing Soph. "We get the waterballoons and a big bucket, we fill the water balloons with a charm-" he knew just the one "-and put them in the bucket. Then we turn the bucket invisible-" this was where magic was super handy "-and set up some kind of tripwire that hangs the bucket over the door, and turn that invisible. When they walk into the that, it tips the bucket and they get pelted with waterballoons."
SUPER SIMPLE STUFF. Ehehehe.
"Maybe we could do it in the morning, before we go running." Toby got up at an unspeakably early time, after all. "Then it's more likely to them that cop it."
Did she see? HMMMM?

She wasn't going to verbalize that thought, no. The brief, mildly horrified look in her eyes probably communicated that passing thought to Tobes well enough. Probably.
"Morning's good. Maybe we can do it in place of our run, then. Or... maybe it'll be incorporated IN as part of our run." If something went wrong and they had to run away from the two professors, get it? She grinned and reached to hold his hand. "I don't mean to inflate your ego here or anything, but you're kind of a genius - a mastermind, even. I may have underestimated you." Hehehehe.

"Darn right," she replied cheekily to his comment about being nothing without his Ravenclaw, nudging him gently with an elbow to further let him know she was teasing.
He would still be all the good things without her, she knew that very well.

I think Fuller WOULD tell us, honestly, 'cause he loves us and all, but we'd probably have to promise not to use it on him or not use it at all, maybe, since he's a professor and has to discourage our antics, probably. It couldn't possibly take TOO long to get an answer out of Fuller, could it?

"Good plan," he nodded, shoving the book in his bag, and jumping to his feet. Toby held out a hand for Soph TOO, even though he was mentally side-eyeing her for her promise to tell Thompson about the teddy bear thing. "C'mon, hellion."

Soph DID know of Toby's pranking history - just a little, but she figured he was a pretty good pranker, at least in the Muggle world. She'd yet to see much of his grand, evil genius ways, but she figured the time had finally come that she'd get to see what he was made of. And frankly, she couldn't wait for tomorrow morning to come.
SCOFF. "I'm pretty sure I'm the sweet-talker here and I'm younger so that makes me cuter, too, plus look at my HAIR." She couldn't wipe the smile off her face and her tone was very obviously teasing and sarcastic during her whole super unconvincing spiel, but she still casually flipped her long, wavy hair purposefully as if it'd convince him. Hehehehe.
And she was absolutely going to tell Thompson, HAIR IN HER FACE OR NOT. Ideally when Tobes was there so she could look between the two and cackle at their reactions.

Rising to her feet, Soph took Toby's outstretched hand with a smile. "Love you, nerd," was her reply as she cheerfully headed back to the castle with him, ready to smooooth-talk Fuller like a pro.
Her scribbles were HELLA fast and at it, alright? But soon enough she got a little less motivated and so Abbi began drifting into stares at her paper every now and then. Just thinking OKAY. Like about what else to actually write and all, but of course she was the type to get distracted uber easily and before she knew it there was someone to add with that distraction.
WELL HELLO. The fourth year at once put her KINDA private notebook away (aka she sat on it) and then smiled towards Eden, the cake baker. "Hey gurl!"There was a drop of sassiness in her tone, not the rude type according to Abbi though, more the we're both too cool. YOU KNOW? "YEAH. DUH." Why did she even ask when food was involved? The answer would close to always be a YES. Her hand immediately extended and she waited for that thing called marshmallow heavens.

That marshmallow was de-lic-ous! REALLY! It was and Abbi couldn't resist but heading for a second. Not all of them needed to be wasted on this shooter thing, you know. Some could totally be used for human purposes too and for hitting them as well. COUGH COUGH. Ugh. "Come on, why not? It'll be SO funny and I bet the most they'll do is laugh with it." It was't like marshmallows could do uber harm, after all they were SO soft.
Those skills though. OMG. COOL. SO COOL.

Walking to her tree the brunette noticed someone already sat under it. Oh well, since she was in a good mood today they could share. Approaching Vinnie eyed the girl sitting there. "Layla", she said and nodded at her,"mind if i join you?"
The sun was beaming down and despite it being autumn, the sunshine was just warm enough to be perfect outdoor weather. There was a gentle breeze that rippled across the top of the lake’s water and Layla’s attention was drawn to the movement. She’d heard that there was a giant squid under the water but she wasn’t sure she believed it. It seemed odd considering that students used the lake for wading in and yet there was a giant creature that could potentially threaten their safety.
Her attention was quickly drawn away by a voice declaring her name. She glanced up with a small smile as she noticed who it was. Layla didn’t really like that many people at this school, they were posh and stuck up and massive know-it-alls. But Vinnie was more like her, she was from London too and she didn’t seem like the others. Vinnie was actually worthy of one of her very rare smiles.
Unlike certain other people.

It had been fun to swim with the merpeople though, merpeople were sooo fascinating. Maybe she could read about them later, before sleeping or something. Strangely enough the brunette hadnt read a lot when they were stuck in the castle...it was probably one of these things you only liked when you werent forced to do it. Like...for arithmancy or runes...why would anyone read that.
Looking over at the new girl, the Slytherin couldnt help but wonder how she was dealing with the situation. When she had first transferred, everything was so overwhelming and it took her about a year to cope. Especially with the people here....Hogwartian people were unlike any other people you'll meet. "Just enjoying the last warm days we have?" If you considered this warm... well for scottish weather it was. Being english, Vinnie as used to it...kind of. The weather wasnt too different in London, or in Nottingham.

She wanted Abbi to do it...FOR THE LULZ, ABBI! Eden was just being a big...fat...NINNY. And normally, Eden wasn't one of those--but at this big new school? With little friends? No. She didn't want to make enemies--even WITH the younger ones. She raised an eyebrow at Abbi.
"I'll make up the dare some other way--PROMISE."

"Gilligan will help us." Get down that is. Kyroh was almost semi-sure of it. Mostly because the tree PROBABLY wanted to be climbed again so he had to help them get down if that were to happen.
And if he didn't want to help, they could always be levitated back down right?
"Ummm...." Kyroh tapped his finger against his chin, thinking. "I think it depends on what kind of tree they are in. Like if they're in a Maple tree they eat maple syrup. And if they're in a pine tree they eat pine cones. So we would eat- uh-" He looked around on the tree. "Bark."

Kace decided to take a walk down to one of his favorite places, the Tree by the Lake. He loved this area. It was quite peaceful and he loved seeing the view and the animals near the lake. He smiled and put his book bag down by the tree and took out his sketch book and doodled on it. It was just one of those activities where you can just let go and get lost in your own world. But as he was drawing he noticed a little cat was near him. He held out his hand for him to sniff and the little guy came over and put his head underneath it and he thought it was adorable. He wondered whose cat it could be? Maybe a stray?
