The rickety wooden covered bridge has been standing for many, many years at Hogwarts, and remains the main entrance from the courtyard to the rest of the grounds. The bridge has faced plenty of damage and repair over the years so give it some respect and report anything wibbly-wobbly to the Groundskeeper.
Jun thought he'd never really see the grounds again. Not after last term at least. Stepping out, he enjoyed the breeze that passed through his now black hair and neck. Autumn was his favorite time of the year. And winter because it would mean Christmas and his birthday. But that was it. Heading for the bridge, the boy kept his eyes peeled because that was now his job. Hands in pocket, Jun kept walking and onto the bridge. Leaning on the railing, his dark eyes looked up and out to the view in front of him.
Shame this was going to be his last term here.

Once again, Charlie was sat on the Bridge, legs swung out between the railings, book in hand. She'd brought a thick coat out with her - just in case, after last year, she didn't feel she could be too careful - but it lay forgotten next to her. She didn't need it any more.
At the sound of footsteps, the seventh year OMG FiNALLY glanced up, and a small smile crossed her face as the boy stopped near her. "Hey, stranger." You know, seeing as she hadn't seen him all summer. "Congrats." Approving nod at the badge, of course. Head Boy. Wow, that was really something, and he deserved it, too. She was glad it was her fellow 'Claw, for house loyalty reasons, also. "How was your summer?"

There were too many things to do and places to see, and he HAD to see them all. In fact, he was so driven to do SEEING things, that he actually didn't know where he was, or how he'd gotten there, he just walked a lot, and before he knew it, he had an epic view. Now THIS was a sight to SEE. Yep. And he did. If he had a list he'd cross it off, but no, no list... that was a Claw thing, and he was most certainly not a Claw - the hat made that 100% CLEAR.
Ugh. Stupid hat.
Zeke stood leaning against the edge of the wooden bridge, peered up at the wooden ceiling thing it had too. Neat and handy. But he soon took to staring out at the gorge thing that was below them. Cooooooool. Wanting to get a bit of a better look at what was below, Zeke leaned against the edge a bit more so he could tilt himself forward and over - just a smidgen, his hands clasped to the beam in front of him.
Eden wanted to OUTSIDE okay? The feast last night had been great, she had had a NICE rest, but now she just wanted to feel the air on her cheeks, AH. And boy, did it feel NICE. She found herself on this nice bridge. She had seen it from the carriages on the way in and AH.
The brunette stopped at a midway point and just leaaaaned over, all the way, and giggled as she flung her arms out as if they were wings. WHoah----she had to catch herself before she fell off the bridge--her first day at Hogwarts ending in death was NOT something she wanted. Nope.
She glanced around to make sure no one had seen that-no? GOOD.

Isla was strolling around the grounds, trying to scout out some boys for her future pranks when she came across the rickety old wooden bridge. It kind of intimidated her since it was so old but if Hogwarts had it still here and others were walking on it, she thought it was probably safe. As she started to walk, she noticed some girl in the middle of the bridge leaning over the side and flailing her arms. She looked like she was about to fall out and Isla's eyes bulged out of her skull and started to run towards the girl. Luckily the girl had seemed to catch herself and Isla stopped running, sighing in relief. She got closer and realized that it was...
"Eden?! Are you crazy, girl?" She laughed, shaking her head. For a Ravenclaw, that was probably the most Gryffindor thing she could have done.

A nice fall day...beautiful weather...AND Hogwarts?!
Now that was a great combination. As much as he enjoyed being back at the school, Benny wasn't about to spend all his time inside. So for now it was time to see the grounds, areas that had still be mostly if not all frozen when they had escaped at the end of term. Wandering out of the courtyard, the fourth year headed out onto the wooden bridge that lead elsewhere. There were others around, most just going to and fro, but one seemed to be curious of what resided on either side of the bridge.
Perhaps a little too curious.
"Hey..." he said quietly in greeting as he approached the younger boy. "Might not want to go too far.

"Hey..." he said quietly in greeting as he approached the younger boy. "Might not to go too far.
Constant vigilance was something that was all but beaten into him... and still, he wasn't as switched on as he ought to be. Though there were people around, and those people made noises and stuff, one particular voice, caught him off-guard. Hey. It was such a simple term, and yet it made him jolt forward a little more in surprise. Zeke felt his heart skip a beat, but quickly regained his composure. There would be no plummeting to his death today, he had to prove to Emily that he could survive in the world for longer than a week without her. So far, so good.
"Shouldn't sneak up on people like that, I could have died just then," he pointed out, leaning back and letting his feet touch down once more. Did he need to point out that it would've been his fault? Heh. Then again... "I won't fall though, if you hold my legs, I'd give the whole permanent sticking charm thing a go... but something less permanent would be cool." He'd hate to have to ditch his shoes and clothes simply because he chose to plaster them - with himself - to the side of the bridge.
Zeke recognised his fellow Gryffindor, but despite that, he still didn't know the dudes name. All he knew was that he had tame taste where quills were involved... that, and he had girly dramas. HAHAHAHA.
Isla was strolling around the grounds, trying to scout out some boys for her future pranks when she came across the rickety old wooden bridge. Eden looked around sharply--the voice--and then realized it was Isla. OH DEAR MERLIN. Just Isla. AH. She was saved the embarrassment of almost falling to her death in front of a stranger--just Isla! "Ha! Yes, I can be." She said and she made a VERY crazy face and blew lots of raspberries and probably got spit EVERYWHERE but that was okay. She felt comfortable in front of Isla already. Comfortable enough to be a FOOL right?
"I was trying to feel like I was flying." She explained. You know, as if that were a proper explanation and all. "I like being outside and feeling the wind. And almost dying apparently." She said and she laughed as she leaned over the railing again but didn't let go of the railing this time. Almost dying once was enough for the girl. "What are YOU doing out here?" she asked. Isla was adventurous though, it seemed to Eden, so it wasn't really out of line that she'd be here on this...very old bridge. "Just needed to get out the castle?" It was huge. Bigger than Durm...but she still would rather be outside than inside. "It's so different from Ireland here..." she said, glancing around and leaning on the railing a bit. "Foggy and...stuff...but it's not as cold as Durmstrang was..." she explained, and she smiled over at her friends.
"You're American, right?" Or was she getting confused? Too many new people at once--all jumbled in her brain--

Isla laughed and wiped the spit that had just went all over her face from Eden. She wasn't too worried about germs and whatnot and it was cool that they were so comfortable around each other like that. She thinks. Heh.
"Feel like you're flying? Eden, you can do that on a broom." She said, shaking her head at her friend. Had she never flew on a broom? There was flying classes at her other school, right? "Yeah, dying wouldn't be that great." She smirked. She watched as her friend leaned over the railing again, but luckily was holding on this time. Good. She didn't want to have another almost heart attack again.
So why was she out here again? "Looking for boys." She shrugged. It was a simple and blunt answer, but it was true. She was. Ireland was colder? Isla had always looked at pictures of Ireland but never really took into account the temperature of it there, but she assumed that Eden was right since she did live there. "It's definitely different from America." She said, to Eden's question. "Yup, I've lived there my entire life."

It seemed he had surprised the younger boy which surely hadn't been his intention. That had been the reason why Benny hadn't been loud when he spoke, trying not to startle. Yet still, the younger Gryffindor hadn't fallen, not that the fourth year would have allowed it if he could stop it, and they were both on solid ground. Or as solid as the old bridge was in the first place.
"First you don't believe I would have at least tried to save you from falling and now you believe I'd be willing and able to keep my grip as you weigh us down. " A lot of trust would go into that type of gesture. They hadn't even exchanged names and introductions with each other since they first met up over the summer. Benny moved beside his companion, looking out over the handrail himself and seeing the situation.
"Too bad a broom can't be utilized," he mused looking down himself, thinking on his own in his dorm and the thought of flying and hovering beneath the bridge. Now that would be cool. And a bit safer than hanging off the bridge from above. "I'm Ben by the way."
Once again, Charlie was sat on the Bridge, legs swung out between the railings, book in hand. She'd brought a thick coat out with her - just in case, after last year, she didn't feel she could be too careful - but it lay forgotten next to her. She didn't need it any more.

She was glad it was her fellow 'Claw, for house loyalty reasons, also. "How was your summer?"
Taking a gummy worm from his candy bag, Jun nommed on it and looked down. That was a mighty long fall. Anyone would just go SPLAT. Nomming on two more, Jun's thoughts wandered off to what it would be like when he graduated. But wasn't it too early for that right now? And he was thinking about universities already. Most people told him not to look into them since they were positive he'd debut with a group.
Jun snapped back into reality when he heard a familiar voice. Grinning, he turned towards Charlie and walked over to her. "Thanks. Surprising, isn't it?" Jun leaned on the railing. "Could've been better. But too many things happened at once," Yeah, bad summer. "How was yours?"

Eden snorted. "A broom?! A broom isn't as FREEEEING--" she said. but really. She just didn't have a broom. Isla didn't need to know all of that, though. "I don't think so either. I'm not that miserable." She said and looked down at the looong fall she would have had to endure. Yikes. "You would have saved me, right?" she asked, putting her hands on her HIPS and smirking all...teasingly and whatnot.
She turned around and leaned her back against the railing, crossing her arms over her chest. "Boys?" and she laughed a little. "Why boys?" did she want...kisses? Hugs? Isla was a pretty girl. She could probably have any boy she just about wanted! ANyways. She was sure Isla had a perfectly logical reason for looking for...boys.
"Right right.." America. She let the wind play with her hair a bit before it swiped it across her face, and she had a MOUTHFUL of hair. She just coughed and sputtered and quickly wiped her hair from her face--UGH. "Well--" she said, eyeing Isla a bit. "That was stupid." Meh. "Anyways. America. Where abouts were you from?" she asked, because America was BIIIG.

Bryant Finnian walked hand in hand with his girlfriend down from breakfast on the first day back down to the grounds and in particular, the wooden bridge. He had walked primarily without talking as he was just happy to be back and to be in her company. It wasn't until they got out toward the middle of the bridge that he stopped.
"I love this place." He said, casually, gazing out over the edge to look back towards the castle. "Can you guess why?" the fifth year asked, smirking at Mel and gently squeezing her hand. He knew what she was likely to say, since they had kinda talked about it while on the train.
He just didn't want anything to go wrong this term so that he could enjoy the year.

Isla shrugged. "But you're still in the air." She nodded. It was true, but she did understand where Eden was coming from. She laughed as she asked if she would have saved her. "Oh nope. I totally wouldn't have saved you. That whole me running like crazy to catch you about five minutes ago? Yeah, that was all just an act." She said, shaking her head in amusement.
Here we go with the boys questions. Luckily it wasn't for the reason Eden was probably thinking. "Not to check them out or anything. I'm scouting them out for my pranks." She nodded. "I'm on a mission to prank every single guy at this school. Except for the younger ones, unless they're brats."
Did her hair just get caught in her mouth? "That was graceful." She snorted, then covering her nose. Did she just seriously do that? Ugh. ...Didn't they already have this conversation on the train? Then again, Isla was pretty sure Eden wasn't having the best listening ears either with how nervous she looked that day. "I'm from Pennsylvania." She smiled.

Eden rolllllled her eyes. "Not the same!" she said, and she then laughed. "Right. I knew it. You don't care--" and she put her hand over her heart dramatically and leaned her head back on the railing, as if she were going to fall backwards. Maybe she wanted to give Isla a heart attack today. Yep? Yep.
She deffffinitely needed to go for a run. She liked running and she liked being crazy and ACTIVE. Her brain was going a million miles a MINUTE and she just--UGH. Pranking sounded fun. "You need to meet Bianca--" she said and she laughed, thinking of her friend. "She's fun like that too--and she would totally help us prank people." She said with an EVIL grin. "And do we have to prank ALL boyS?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Her friend Connor didn't deserve pranks! He was muuuuch too sweet and stuff. People like Phoenix would be fun, though, because he would take it so well. "Ceo seems like he'd be fun to prank..." she smirked and raised her eyebrows at Isla. Huuuh? huh? Crush? CRUSH?
"I'm sure a few of the younger ones are brats." She smirked. Yep. There had to to bratty ones out there.
Graceful...."That's my middle name. Eden Graceful McGee." She said, keeping her face all serious and such--HA. As if. Eden was not graceful whatsoever. "I should be a dancer, right?" Yep Yep. NOOOO. Eden dancing would be worse than trying to teach elephants to dance. But then again, weren't there dancing elephants out there? "Oh right. P-A." She nodded. "I love your accent." She grinned and tilted her head a little. "How's it going so far? Here I mean. SInce we're both transfers and all.."

Coral wasn't even sure that the third member of this three person party was going to show up.
Maybe she put a little too much faith in the Ravenclaw boy she'd asked to tape the note about this little meeting to a certain new fourth year's dorm room door. Wow, that was a mouth full. But then again, maybe the new fourth year wouldn't want to meet her. Or Soph. But she couldn't reaaaally know for sure. So she'd just have to wait and stop the speculation because it was only making things worse.
Leaning against the railing of the bridge, Coral looked out and tried to think about other things. Like her kitty.

Sophie had heard the ancient tale that there was a new Ravenclaw boy in their year, but of all the new male faces she'd seen around the common room thus far, she wasn't sure WHICH boy it was. So, naturally, when CB came up with the idea to set up a formal meeting for fourth year Ravenclaws, Soph was pretty pumped. New friends were good and all, but a NEW BOY in their year AND house was... too exciting. All the exciting.
"Your prince charming hasn't arrived yet, eh?" Soph's choice of greeting to CB was very much in jest, but she couldn't help but think how great WOULD it be for CB to like this new guy. What if he was even better than Zander and Simon put together? It would settle CB's debate on which boy was better.
Soph was just sayin'.
"Hopefully he's cool," she added, and THAT she really meant. Soph wasn't really looking to set CB up with anyone - though she enjoyed teasing CB about it so far - and mostly just hoped they would get to meet someone they'd both get along with.

Isla's eyes widened as Eden seemed like she was going to fall backwards over the railing again but she was just joking and Isla shook her head. "I do care, you dork!" She laughed. "Stop trying to scare me!"
Hmm. Bianca. "I think I've seen her around. Maybe." She nodded. She could always use more help. "Okay, maybe not all boys, but most of them." That was important because boys deserved it. At least Isla thought they did. She blushed deep red as Eden brought up Ceo. "W-why would he be a good person to prank?" She stuttered, looking over the railing down to the stony ground below.
She was right. Some of those younger kids were bratty. She had already seen some in the common room who she didn't like. "And Grandma Reeser. That's your nickname." She laughed. "Oh yeah, you'd get so many awards if you were a dancer." She shook her head. Eden as a dancer? Now that would be funny.
Wait...she loved her accent? "Are you crazy? My accent is boring and plain. Yours is amazing." Isla beamed. That reminded her of home though and she frowned, thinking of her brother, her parents, and her owl. "I'm doing alright." She shrugged. Not much to say, really. "How about you?"

It would be an understatement to say that Paris Sykes was nervous about this meeting. As if it hadn't been bad enough that he was the only new fourth year boy in his dorm, the others having been together since first year, but now he had to meet some of the fourth year girl claws. Where they the welcomers to the house or something? Or where they just purely interested in meeting him? If it was the latter, than that made him even more anxious because he'd never had girls wanting to MEET him or leave him notes on his door.
So Paris spent a good part of the day figuring out what to wear to this 'formal meeting'. It was impossible with the other boys snickering and with no sisters (however annoying they could be) around to help him pick out something acceptable and cool, and he sure wasn't going to his new cousin for help, wherever the older boy was. He finally managed to find something that was decent, tucking his sketch pad into his pocket as he headed out of his dorms and to the bridge that he hadn't known how to get to.
It wasn't until after he got lost that he realized.... he had no idea what these girls looked like. Where they pretty? Probably. He hoped so. Had plans of drawing them and all, so he could share with his cousin.
Wandering around the bridge looking lost, he scanned the place until finally his eyes fell on a pair of girls who looked around his age. And also pretty. "Ummm....." He fell upon them somewhat quietly, running a hand through his hair nervously. "I'm 'pposed to be meetin' some fourth year Ravenclaw girls...." Where they them?

Mel wandered around with Bryant with a smile on her face. She was already in a sweatshirt and black jeans since the weather here was a lot colder than Turkey. Melek swung their hands a little as they walked. Melek loved being around her boyfriend. She had missed him so much when she was stuck in Turkey and he in London. Mel glanced around a little when they stopped in the middle.
She leaned against the bridge a little and squeezed his hand after he squeezed her hand. Mel tilted her head backwards to look at the view that he was looking at. Melek smiled at the upside down castle, "Its gorgeous out here..." She pondered his question as she brought her head back, looking at him. Mel shrugged, "I dont know your reason but i like being back because that means I finally get time to spend with you." Melek blushed and glanced down at her feet.

Oh. HI SOPH.
That wasn't that long of a wait. Coral turned her head to meet the gaze of her best friend and grin and all that jazz. "He better hurry. I can't have my chariot turn back into a pumpkin." But what if he didn't show at ALL? What was she supposed to do then? Hmm? Was he a fairytale? Maybe he didn't even exist, really.
She turned around, using the banister to rest her back instead this time. "Hopefully." she agreed and tilted her head over to rest on Sophie's shoulder momentarily. "You think he got the note? What if he didn't see it? Then what do we do? Should we make a back up plan?" the fourth year rambled, as was normal with her and her overactive imagination.
Her eyes drifted from the other side of the bridge to the people walking up and down it. Oh look a- oh. OHHHH. A boy was talking at her and while he was doing that her hand had darted for Soph's and she gave it a TUG and quick!whispered in her ear. "Sophhhhh. He's cuuuuuuute." Cue the light giggling.
"You've found them!" She did her best to keep her growingly hot cheeks at bay. "I'm Coral-Bay." Grins for you, handsome. She paused to let Sophie introduce herself. "You find the bridge alright?"
Oh, he was so breathtakingly pretty.

Soph snorted a little at CB's Cinderella reference and put an arm around the girl, giving her a side-hug of encouragement. "Relax, CB. He'll be here. You told him he was meeting two super great yearmates, right? How could he resist that?" He couldn't. So if they were left standing there for hours, Soph assumed it would be solely because the note had fallen off the boy's door or he hadn't even seen it yet, NOT because he didn't want to see them.
CB saw their guest first, as Sophie didn't catch sight of the boy till after CB had reacted. Aw. He looked... familiar. Didn't he? Maybe a little? Huh. And a little lost. Haha. Soph couldn't help but giggle just a little at the boy's expense, and properly snorted at CB's whisperings in her ear. Merlin.
"And m'Sophie Brown." So he KNEW. And since CB was already all off being cutesy and charming with him and making small talk, Sophie... let them be. She leaned back against the railing of the wooden bridge and just smiled at them both, super content.

Uuhhh... come again? Say what? ... Was older-boring-quill-dude getting lippy with him? Or was he just using fancy words and thoughts all at once to confuse him? Cause... consider him confused. "Does that mean you won't hold my feet?" he asked, blinking.
Either way, he craned his neck over the edge again to get more of a look at whatever could be seen. Seemed he wasn't the only one that liked the scene. "Brooms would be handy," Zeke agreed. "Recon flying lady teacher person will let us borrow some or take us on a tour?" He'd been looking forward to flying more, but Emily reminded him first years weren't allowed brooms, so his sat at home in the corner of his room... no doubt gathering dust he'd be forced to clean when he returned.
Bennnnn... BORING QUILL DUDE HAD A NAME. Heh. "Niiice, I'm Zeke," he grinned.

Yeah, his term had begun with a lot of drama, but it was all in the past. It was a nice afternoon after classes, the sun was shining and he had a mischief to complete.
He had already sent Alexa a note to meet him there. It was such a pleasant note, too, that said he wanted to talk to her. As far as he knew, she didn't have a boyfriend too, so she had no reason not to come... he hoped she would come.
Arriving at the bridge half an hour before their meeting time with a small basket, he put it down and took out his wand. The basket contained colourful, small papers bound in order with a thin rope. When stretched and hung, they would read: Head Girl Alexa Cambridge - the best one you can ever see. And, of course, he hung it on the posts at the entrance of the bridge. He had prepared only one, but it didn't matter: he'd created the letters on both sides for every Hogwartians to see. They also glowed every twenty seconds. The basket also had a bag of chocolate frogs bought specifically for her.
