Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Landon couldn't help but blush as she called him by his nickname and he mind froze for a second. Did he actually just blush? He never blushed. Rarely. And she called him that all the time, so why now? He guessed it was just all the nerves and she looked really pretty. She must have been messing with his emotions.
He heard her saying something and he finally tuned back in just to hear her say something about a brace for her wrist. "Why would you need a brace? Did one of your fans almost break your wrist?" He said, furrowing his brow, getting kind of mad. He didn't want anyone to hurt her, especially these fans who said they 'loved her'. They obviously didn't know about true love if they were going to hurt her.
Work. Work. Oh right. The work he didn't go to today. "Uh...it was alright. I played one of your songs today." He grinned. It was funny how he could be away from her but yet he was still kind of near her.
There was definitely something off about Landon today and Melanie's entire face nearly scrunched up trying to figure out what it was. He was blushing. Melanie could not remember the last time she had seen him do that. There was something definitely wrong. Reaching across the table, she placed the back of her hand to Landon's forehead. Nope. Not warm at all. She put her hand back down without saying a thing regarding her actions.
"No!" Melanie exclaimed, eyes wide. She trusted her fans to never hurt her and she thought that Landon ought to as well. "Just all the signing might start making my wrist hurt... they wouldn't do anything." And if they did, there was security in the form of two scary guys with cold eyes. Melanie did not feel comfortable around them and she doubted one of her fans would want to deal with them either.
Melanie smiled when Landon told her he played her song. "You did? I'm sorry I missed it," she said with a laugh. Because she would've loved to hear it. Being at work all the time, Melanie often found herself missing parts of Landon's job. They'd catch up in the evening and on their days off but that was about it. "Are you hungry?" she asked, looking at the menu again. "I'm starving."
The cookies that she had received from a fan had been confiscated because they could've been "poisoned" and needed to be "tested" first. She was pretty sure that was her manager's way of saying "I want them and you can't have them".

Her boyfriend was with her right now and that's all that mattered.
Still hugging her boyfriend, the seventh year Hogwartian answered with the truth, as always, "Oh, there's this kitten called Marshmallow, she makes me so happy," technically, that was true. She did let go of him a little at his mention of timing. AGAIN! There was no winning. Either she was super early and didn't even tell him she was on her way to meet him, or she was super late and had kept him waiting. No winning. So, she lightly poked his shoulder, "That's a lie. It's never taken me so little time to get to Hogsmeade." FACT.
Also, "Hi, boyfriend." Proper greetings, you know? Those happen.
GASP. The kitten was keeping his girlfriend from seeing him. Tag wanted to get upset at the thought, his girlfriend wasn't late by any means, by the way but, Marshmallow was such an adorable kitten. Tag would steal her one day if he could. "I forgive you for being late. Marshmallow is a good enough excuse for me." Then at her next words, Tag smiled a little. A little. Well, at least she rushed to make her way here. He would too. "Its because Hogsmeade has now been graced with my beauty. You became curious at the sight." Truth, yup.
"Hi, girlfriend person, Lotus. How's everything?" Sit down too, preferably. Which Tag did himself, and he gestured the same for his girlfriend to do. "Marshmallow and Marion. They're alright yeah?" The pets were just as important as Lottie is.

Landon was about to check if the box was still there in his jacket when Melanie leaned forward and put her hand to his forehead. He raised his eyebrow with a questioning look on his face as she sat back down. Did she know what was going on? Did he look awful or something? More worries started to race in his mind as she continued on with the conversation. Why didn't she say anything?
Oh. The signing was hurting her wrist. Not the fans. "Sorry, I thought you said-never mind." He shook his head. He needed to get his mind straight. Especially if he was going to PROPOSE to her in just a couple of minutes. Thinking about that gave him goosebumps and he just wanted to go run and hide at this point. Why did this have to be such a nervewracking process?
"You sing your songs all the time, you don't need to hear me introduce them on the radio." He chuckled. Though that would be kind of sweet if she did just to hear him. Was he...hungry? His stomach growled loud to her question and his eyes widened. He had completely forgotten about eating today except for oreos at breakfast. "Uh yeah, really hungry." He grinned, opening the menu and taking a look at it.
"So Melanie. Um...you remember how we met, yeah?" He said slyly, trying to get the conversation rolling that way the proposal wouldn't just come out as a surprise. Though it could be a surprise to her either way. ...He was freaking out.

He was definitely acting very strange. Melanie wasn't sure if it had been a persisting problem and she just hadn't noticed or if it had just started. "Pobby, are you feeling alright? You don't look all that great," she said with a little frown. Of course he looked well dressed, it was just he didn't seem to be feeling well. Maybe something had been bothering him?
Had she been an ignorant girlfriend wrapped up in her work? Melanie frowned and tried to dismiss those thoughts but they kept nagging at the back of her mind. She shook her head and just tried to smile.
"I like hearing you introduce my songs, it sounds better than other people announcing my songs," she said, smiling. Because it was Pobby and she loved him. No one else could compare to him. Besides, why would she choose someone else to do it when she could just get her boyfriend? He was funny and sweet and Melanie was ninety-five percent sure that him announcing her song would be hilarious. She was about to look back down at her menu when she heard a loud growling.
Laughing, Melanie grinned, all thoughts of being a bad girlfriend banished. He was probably just hungry. "Didn't you eat breakfast today? I thought I left a bagel on the counter!" Or had she taken that one? Melanie could not remember.
She drummed her fingers against either side of the menu before looking up to reply to Landon. "Yeah... we ran into each other in the city and tried to find an ice cream truck," she said with a grin. "We were so silly back then," she added. Melanie would probably never forget how the two had met for the first time. It was etched into her memory.

He didn't look all that great? Ugh. That didn't make him feel any better. He thought his hair was awesome and he thought he looked pretty good. Better than any other day, but Melanie said he didn't look that good. Maybe he'll propose another day. He doesn't want to propose and then Melanie not want to be his future wife because he doesn't look good. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Perfect actually." He said, trying to give a reassuring smile.
Then Melanie made him feel better as she said that she liked hearing him announce her songs. So she had been listening. Landon grinned, looking down at the menu with a big smile on his face. "You're just biased because you're my girlfriend." He said, glancing up at her. That word, girlfriend. It almost sounded wrong because he knew it could change in a matter of minutes.
Had she left a bagel on the counter this morning? Landon couldn't remember. He was too worried to even think about anything else but the ring in his pocket. "You might have...I'm not sure. I just had oreos anyways." He shrugged. He could feel the half-full mini oreos in his other coat pocket.
He remembered the day that they met as well. In NYC. A beautiful day that he met the most beautiful girl. "Didn't you give me a sandwich too?" He chuckled. He put the menu down, deciding on just getting whatever Melanie was getting, and grabbed her hand. "That was one of the best days of life." He winked. "But there is also another best day of my life, but it has yet to happen."

Perfect? How was she supposed to believe him when he stuttered. Landon did not stutter. At least not around her. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and moved past it. After all, he gave her that smile that let her know things were okay. Was she supposed to just ignore that smile? She thought not because it was a really cute and charming smile.
"Maybe but as your number one fan" Melanie paused for a second, letting that sink in for him, "I love it when I get to hear you on the radio." It made her feel happy and proud. Plus, sometimes when she couldn't call him, it was nice to be able to hear his voice there. Made her feel a little bit calmer and reminded her that he was there and he was her boyfriend. Which might've been lame to others but if she liked it then it shouldn't matter what other people though. "Besides, you're really good at it."
Oreos for breakfast? Melanie normally would've said something about it but she let it be. There was no changing the amount of Oreos Landon consumed daily. "Next time you should get real food," she joked. Landon would probably argue that Oreos were real food when they were simply just a snack. The former Gryffindor moved forward in her seat.
She nodded when Landon asked about the sandwich. "My mom made me that sandwich," she added, with a slight smile. Oh memories. How long had it even been since she had first met Landon? It felt like centuries ago when it had only been several years. Still, those years had passed quickly and Melanie wasn't sure how she felt about it. She set her menu down when she felt Landon take her hand.
Best days of his life? Really? Melanie grinned, although she was a little bit confused.
"Pobby, I think you're only allowed to have one best day of your life... if not the word best loses its meaning," Melanie laughed.

"Pobby, I think you're only allowed to have one best day of your life... if not the word best loses its meaning," Melanie laughed.
Landon laughed as she said she was his number one fan. She was cute. Adorkably cute. If that was even a word. "Well I'm your number one fan as well and I dance in the studio when I play your songs like a fairy princess." He joked, laughing at himself. Yeah right, if he ever danced like that he would like to be taken to a muggle mental facility. "Thanks, Melon. You're really great at singing too, obviously, pop star." He winked at her.
Psh, real food. Oreos were real food, but he didn't want to get into an argument right now about oreos. There were other more important things to worry about like...PROPOSING to her. Ugh. He was sure that sandwich that she gave him had some weird ingredients in it too but he couldn't exactly remember.
"Well hopefully today will be the next greatest best day of my life." Landon said, his voice cracking at the end a little. He cleared his throat and took a deep breath in and out, standing up and walking over and standing before her, taking her hand once again. "Melanie. You know you're my favorite person in the world right?" He said, giving a small smile. "I know that and everyone should know that too. That's why I've been thinking. Thinking about my future. I want to travel, eat oreos, play music in different cities, document all the adventures I have but I want to do all of that stuff with you. I could never imagine a day without you being there to make me clean up the laundry, making me eat "real" food, letting me cuddle you, being as cute as you are and all the other things that you do that make me smile. So th-that's why today could be one of the best days of my life. Because I want you to join me in taking on the future..." Landon trailed off, letting go of her hand, and kneeling down on one knee to the ground. He took out the blue Tiffany box and opened it up, holding it in front of her. He was freaking out on the inside, hoping she would say yes. He knew his face was deep red at this moment but he couldn't help it. Here goes nothing. He looked up at her with one of those smiles that she loved and said...
Toby had missed this, hugs from Derry, and he certainly made the most of this moment right now. He hugged his friend tight and gave the most Hufflepuff hug he could, because that was totally a thing.
He grinned up at her as she bombarded him with questions, unable to keep from laughing a little.
"I'm good, school's good, and..." Uhhhhhhhhh... how to answer that? "Well, Hogwarts is just as crazy as ever, so I guess the jury's still out on that one." BUT more about that later. Toby was waaaaaaaaaay more interested in what Derry had been up to. She played for the Magpies now, after all. That was the team HE'D gravtitated to and hoped to play for some day. Derry was even MORE of a superstar in his eyes these days.
"How's Quidditch?" the Hufflepuff asked as he moved to take a seat, looking eager and totally ready to hear about Derry's after-Hogwarts life.
Derry appreciated the Hufflepuff hug. Though she hadn't actually been hugged by a Hufflepuff other than Toby so to her it was just a Toby hug and they were awesome anyway.
"Good, good..." She liked that Toby was all excitable and happy, it was a good energy and it made her happy too. It was nice to have such a lovely break from her crazy busy schedule. As for the school being as crazy as ever, Derry wasn't surprised. "At least it's not freezing cold anymore." She'd gone stir crazy last year...
Ah, yes, that. "Quidditch is.. great." She grinned at Toby and nodded. "Really fun, properly crazy though. I have pretty much no free time since I have a part time job too and there's karate stuff and looking for a flat and... it's crazy." She sipped at her butterbeer. "Practice is intense though, I love it. It's... I wasn't expecting everything to happen quite so quickly once I left school, y'know? It's way more nerve wracking than school quidditch... but you know that right? Hows the under 17s stuff going?"
Landon laughed as she said she was his number one fan. She was cute. Adorkably cute. If that was even a word. "Well I'm your number one fan as well and I dance in the studio when I play your songs like a fairy princess." He joked, laughing at himself. He looked up at her with one of those smiles that she loved and said...
"...will you marry me, Melanie Sung?"
Today was going to be the next greatest best day of his life? Melanie wasn't even sure what that meant. Had he gotten a promotion at work? Was he quitting his job and creating something else? Melanie had absolutely no idea what was going on. Why was he even standing? Was he aware that there was no other seats a this table?
Her face started to turn red when he took her hand. What was he doing? Was he going to make a scene? Melanie didn't know how to deal with that yet. Her face continued to heat up and turn a bright strawberry red. She nodded her head ever so slightly when he asked her if she knew that she was his favorite person in the world. That was a big title that Melanie proudly bore because she loved Landon.
Melanie felt her heart start racing. Wait. What was he doing?!
She felt her jaw drop when he let go of her hand. Unable to form words, she just watched him go down on one knee. No. Wait what was happening? Melanie's eyes grew wide and her mouth opened and closed, still unable to form words.
... He just asked her to marry him...
Melanie looked at the little ring nestled inside the box then at Landon... then back at the ring. "You're proposing to me," she stated. He was proposing. "You're proposing... right now..."
WHY WAS HE PROPOSING?! Wait... he had said all of that already. Her face was a bright red and she could not find any other words in her head that would come out of her mouth and fling themselves at Landon. She was at a loss for words. What was there even to say? Yes or no probably but Melanie couldn't form either of those words at the moment.

Letting Tibs take the lead, as per usual, Gabriel returned the squeeze to his hand and felt an instant rush of warmth as they entered the Three Broomsticks. Of course, the sensation could also have had something to do with his current company. "Do you zink I keep a 'Ogwarts calendar on my writing desk?" he chuckled as he pulled the door shut behind them with his free hand.
Gabriel had only taken a handful of trips to Hogsmeade before, namely during the time that the Triwizard Tournament had been held at Hogwarts, so the sense of nostalgia that had Tibs' already charming eyes glazed over with wonder was not nearly as strong with him. He did recall that the fish and chips here were a delight, however.
Slidding into the seat beside his husband, leaving the two across from them completely empty, Gabriel began fussing with his bag looking for something and failed to notice Tibs' waiting hand. "Me too, naturally," he grinned as he removed something from his bag and held it behind his back. It took him just a second to see the hand now, and his right hand was quickly placed upon it and fingers interlaced. "Now, don't get too fussy with me, but I got you a little somezing." He then brought his left hand forward to present his husband with a slightly tattered copy of Madcap Magic for Wacky Warlocks tied with a silky gold ribbon. "It's not Creatures or Herbology, but somezing to help you relax with a bit of fun. We need to loosen up zose shoulders of yours."
"I didn't even think to check," Tiberius shrugged. He supposed it should have occurred to him to at least owl ahead and ask the person they'd rented the cottage from. Romania had clearly sucked up all his brain space and left very little room for practical thinking.
So he wasn't planning on doing much this weekend.
Idly rubbing his thumb over Gabriel's, he turned, confused. "Fussy? What.. did you..."
His eyes rested on the book and he blinked a moment, taking it in his free hand. "...do?"Looking at it, then up at Gabe, then back down at it, he slipped his other hand free. "Gabe, it's.. I..." He broke into a wide grin and removed the bow. Flipping open the cover gingerly, his eyes scanned the pages. "This looks like such an early printing," he mused, smiling as he walked his fingers across the page.
Closing it, he set it on his lap. He reached up and put his hand on the back of Gabe's head. "Thank you," he said, before leaning in for a quick kiss. Pulling back, he let his hand fall on top of the book on his lap. "I love it. It's perfect." Tiberius had a brief moment of guilt that he didn't have anything for Gabriel, but it was fleeting. There wasn't really ever a sense of obligation when it came to gifts.
Even still. As he read through the chapter titles, smirking at how he might make use of some of the spells for a certain someone's birthday, he idly mused aloud. "If it's still here, I think the quill shop in town is lovely. We should get you some new sets, the way I'm sure you're working through quills and ink while I'm away."
Realizing that he could read at any time, he closed the book and turned his attention back to Gabe.
Picking it up with both hands, he handed it back to his husband. "Now put it back in your bag. I don't want to get anything on it!"

Tightening the green and silver scraf around his neck, the Norean walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. He always looked forward towards this weekend. It meant getting some fresh air away from the castle and its grounds and into the little town not far from them. Plus, Jun had gotten back his sweet tooth lately so a visit to Honeydukes was mandatory later. But for now, he was going to meet up with Justine and Lux at the Three Broomsticks. At least this time someone else would cook for them and it wasn't him. Opening the door to the place, Jun walked in and looked around.
Was he the first one here? Doubt it, he was usually the late one. Heading for a table, he noticed a certain brunette and sat down beside her. "Hello, Princess," He grinned and gave Justine a small nudge.
She'd ordered a butterbeer while waiting, after all, a cat-girl sitting alone in a bar was totally weird, a cat-girl alone in a bar drinking at least made sense. Justine took a sip, sighing as the warmed drink slipped down her throat calming her nerves, she'd been stressed lately; with the whole weird thing with Connor interrupting her thing with Jun, the insanity of the school's teachers and student body becoming fairytales figures, Cruella Di Ville transformation a few days ago, and now her recent Cat-ness? it was all just a little overwhelming for the usually chill French-Canadian.
Justine turned as she felt someone sit beside her. Jun. She grinned at the boy, pleased to see him, even with the nudging and the very feminine nickname that she definitely did not secretly like. "Hey, Pretty Boy," she said, rolling her eyes at the nudge. Was she purring? Again? She had no idea how to control it. "I would have ordered you something, but I didn't know what you wanted,"

Landon sat there on his one knee, kind of hurting because putting all your weight on one knee kind of sucked. Who came up with this? This hurt and he was trying to focus on the proposal not the pain that his knee was going through.
He gave an uneasy laugh and nodded, holding out the ring as he did. Yes, he was proposing. Why wasn't she saying anything? She was definitely surprised, but he wasn't sure if it was good or not. He looked around to see some people looking at them and he sighed. She was going to say no wasn't she? "Melanie...?" He asked, getting quite embarrassed at the moment because she was taking quite a long time to say something. Why couldn't she figure out the answer? It was yes. Hopefully.
"Alana don't climb the chair sweetie you are going to fall." She tried to get the two and a half year old to sit, but got a swat at the face instead and then some giggles. She shook her head and laughed when her brown eyes noticed her husband coming towards them. Leaning in to kiss him back she grinned. "Hello honey." It was so good to see him. It wasn't that long ago that she had seen him, but she missed him when he wasn't at home. Her smile got bigger as he leaned down to Alana. It was so wonderful how he treated her children. She couldn't ask for more.
"I hope we aren't taking you way from things at the castle." She figured some professors had to be here to watch over the students and she was really selfish and not all that sorry if she was keeping him from anything, though she would never say that. Finally taking a seat, she set her purse down next to her. "Elisa woke up with some horrible night terrors and wouldn't settle down, kept calling for Charely, so I took her over nd she decided to have a daddy day today, but this one, she couldn't wait to come over and see her Cos Cos." She leaned in and tickled Alana as she talked.
Chairs were fun to play in, Alana was standing on one and looked down from the back. It was fun until mummy said to sit down. Her lip went out to a pout, "No" She said in a whiny voice and slapped her little hand at her mother. The chair was too much fun and she bounced a bit holding on to the back, that was until she heard a familiar voice. Cos Cos was there, YAAAY! She turned clapping her hands just to see him leaning to give her a kiss. She puckered her lips and leaned to give him kisses as she lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck. "Cos Cos" Was he coming home with them?
Hearing Elisa's name she looked at her mummy, was sissy here? She didn't see her. Her brown eyes scanned around, but nope Elisa was there. Her little grin beaming when Mummy said Cos Cos' name she looked at him again and then started giggling and wiggling still hanging on Cos Cos as mummy started tickling.
Cosgrach lifted Alana easily as he sat down on her chair and placed her on his lap. "Don't worry, castle is boring," he said, "and anyway, you are more important." See how Alana clung to him? Yeah. His place was with them now. He frowned when she mentioned Elisa's nightmare, but he couldn't help a smile when his wife tickled Alana.
"I'm flattered you wanted to see me, sweet girl," he said in as soft a tone as he could muster, "but Elisa is okay, right?" Right?
"I'm glad you came." He squeezed his wife's hand and smiled. "You have brightened my week." No exaggeration at all.
You have no idea how important and spoiled Marshmallow is. Though not as spoiled as one might think, just like Stella when Lottie used to have her. Or Felix, in a way, he was incredibly stubborn so it was rather difficult to deal with him. Not impossible, but difficult. Lottie was actually glad her bestie was no longer a character from Merlin knows what land or kingdom.
Excuse me? Head tilting to one side ever so lightly at those particular words. She was being forgiven? "I don't need to be forgiven, because I'm not late."Wink. True, however, "Now I know Marshmallow is the perfect excuse for it, though." Of course, she wouldn't legit use the kitten, we're never late, technically. Shaking her head, she spoke again, "It's because Hogsmeade holds something I want, it attracted me all of the sudden." LOL! No curiosity, no, but attraction instead.
She kissed his cheek before sitting down next to him, completely oblivious to the world around them only not really because she could still hear and see other people. "Everything is okay. No one I care about has been momentarily possessed by books, so, that's great." Granted, it had become almost impossible to get Lex near one. At least she knew what the book looked like, thanks to that ickle Ravenclaw. "They are. Neither bothers the other." The possibility of Marshmallow being afraid of Marion exists, which is probably why the kitten didn't bother the plant. Her cat is a smart one. "How's everyone back home?" And the shelter?

"You are late in my books." Tag said with a laugh. He was kidding, ok? No need to get caught up in this. Just laughs. "You do. And you can probably use her to your advantage in the future and I would let it slide by." Because who could be mean to that little white snowflake? No one, that's who. "So you're definitely admitting that I'm attractive?" He said. Tag already knew that she thought along those lines, but still, it was important to hear these words from time to time.
There came a smile at the kiss, but then Tag laughed abruptly, then, realizing how bad the words Lottie had just said, stopped laughing almost immediately. "Yeah, that's great for the people you care about. But what about the people you don't? I mean, you wouldn't feel a little bad about them being possessed?" Tag would. He wouldn't want to fix it though, in fear of him possibly getting possessed or something like that. But he'd feel a little bad. Unlike his girlfriend, it seemed. And when Tag took his seat he glanced around the Broomsticks before sliding into the booth but... who was that there? That guy seemed familiar. Tag squinted slightly and realized it was Landon. Whom he hadn't seen in a while. What had he been up to? Upon further squinting Tag noticed in what stance he was. Then he half laughed and shook his head. Proposing apparently, that's what. .... Tag better be the best man if Landon got a positive answer. He finally took his seat next to his girlfriend.
"Good. Marshmallow would probably have a heart attack if Marion even so looked at her." Easily frightened and curious that one. "Everyone's fine back home, all good and well. The girls miss you, but you already know that. " Before taking a menu and passing it to Lottie Tag added, "I got another puppy recently."

She smiled at her husband sweetly, but wasn't sure she believed him. Since Bart started at that school is was not boring. She shook her head, "Well that's sweet." It made her feel really special for him to say that. Plus watching him with Alana just made her love feelings for him grow even more. "I'm sure that the castle isn't boring though, but I'm so glad we got to do this." Leaning over and kissing his cheek.
"Oh just some night terrors, they are completely normal at this age." She was use to them really. "She's fine. Once I took her to Charely's she was happy as can be. So I took the opportunity for just some one on one time with Alana. They really need that some time. Both getting the main attention." So it wasn't so bad Charely was having father daughter time with Elisa while she had mother daughter time with Alana.
Squeezing his hand back she couldn't stop beaming towards him. It was so great to be able to come visit him. Alana was certainly enjoying herself as well. "Well glad we can help." She looked at Alana, "Alana why don't you get into mommy's purse and give Cossy are little surprise." She beamed at her daughter and pulled up her purse to help her.
"Wee" She clapped as Cos Cos put her on his lap. Turning to face him and clap his face in excitement. Why wasn't he home with them? She didn't understand, but this was fun too. Her attention moving to the table she picked up a spoon and hit it on the table. Glancing up at him as he spoke to her in a nice happy voice. "Cos Cos wov wou" Her little lips puckering up as she moved to kiss him.
Hearing her mummy's words she looked down and slid off his lap. Moving to her purse she pulled out a package. "Cos Cos She babbled something else that she thought was Happy Birthday, but really wasn't understandable. Handing him the package.
"You are late in my books." Tag said with a laugh. He was kidding, ok? No need to get caught up in this. Just laughs. "You do. Oh, really? She simply smirked. Perhaps, PERHAPS, she might run a little late next time they meet. "I'll keep that in mind." Using Marshmallow, that is. Lottie was incredibly lucky to have gotten such a cute kitten. Keep in mind it'll become a fully grown cat in a few months, so she'll have to teach Marshmallow to be just as cute then. "Hogsmeade, not you." A sweet smile and another kiss on his cheek later proved she was joking. This was nothing compared to admitting she had favorites, you know? Did she, really?
No need to laugh at the misfortunes of those she cares about, Kildare. She understood why he'd find it funny. She had found it amusing, until she became affected by it. "Not really, no." Simple, and very honest answer right there as her eyes landed on the window and focused on something outside. Still oblivious to the going ons in here, she smiled as her boyfriend joined her.
"I don't think she's so easily scared, I guess she just gets excited and remarkably curious with new things that don't pose a threat," she said, taking the menu but not really looking at it, "Clearly, Marion does." Pose a threat, that is. Maybe Marshmallow was a Hufflepuff. Another smile went to Tag, her eyes rested on him for a few seconds before finally speaking, "I miss them, too. Good to know everyone is fine." Wait, wait, wait... what did he say?
Someone was confused, definitely. "What do you mean you got another puppy?" She didn't hear the question, entirely distracted by the news of this new puppy.

Using Marshmallow to her advantage. How terrible was that actually? The poor kitten was being used for Lottie's own gain. It was just a small kitten, unable to barely think for herself, how little did she know that she would be used for Lottie's own personal reasons. RUDE. Not really, though. "Ouch. I didn't know this old place was better looking than me." It was though, quite picturesque, but mostly when it was lightly snowing.
"Well, then." To all those people who would be future possessed and in the presence of Lottie, be warned, she probably wouldn't do anything to help them. Find somebody else. At least Lottie was being real? Yes. That was good.
There came another laugh from Tag. "Not easily scared? You said that she jumps back from marshmallows." That was cute and funny, yes. "Sounds like you've got yourself another Gryffindor to take care of." Poor Lottie just couldn't get a break from them. At least Clover wasn't a gryffindor, but that was probably because turtles couldn't do much exciting things. "Very fine. Is my girlfriend fine as well?" He asked. It was important that he knew. Just to see if he needed to owl many sweets soon in case she wasn't doing well.
"I'm joking. My boss thinks I'm responsible enough to take care of his puppy while he's on holiday." And Tag had laughed so hard when he'd been given the offer. So much it had almost been taken away from him. And to add on top of that, his boss was trusting a two weeks new hired employee. Did he know what he was getting his puppy into?
Braedon finally made it to Hogsmeade. He was excited to be here and meet all his friends he met in Asutralia. But he wanted to hang out with just Vinnie today . He wanted to get to know her better. It is what friends do right? As he walked in, he noticed he was the only one here. He smiled and decided to pick a table for two. He sat down and flattened out his outfit. He wanted to look semi presentable and not a total slob. He got his menu and decided on what he wanted while he waited for Vinnie to get here. Usually girls were fashionably late anyways.
Now what was he in the mood for....?
Vinnie made her way to the three broomsticks and pulled her scarf tighter around her. It was still pretty cold outside and she couldn't wait to get there and have a nice butterbeer. Also she hadnt seen Braedon in such a long time. Australia was rather far away and school always got in the way.
The last time she saw him they were ice skating and having hot choclate. That was soooo long ago. It was a pity he didnt go to Hogwarts.
Stepping into the pub the brunette looked around to find her friend and spotted him at the far end. "Heyyyyy brae", she said as she approached him and waved, " may i?"

He put down his menu and smiled. "Heyyy Vinne.." he said getting up and hugging her. "How have you been and oh yes please sit. I was saving this for you actually.." he said gesturing towards the chair. He hoped she didn't think it was too cliche.
As he sat down and he smiled and said honestly, "I have missed seeing you."
I mean being in Australia had its downfalls. He could only go to Hogsmeade to see his friends but his brother didn't want him going to Hogwarts just yet. He didn't know the reasons because his brother would just drop the topic. "Last time I saw you, it was back in Australia and you have the unfortunate meeting with Dylan..." Because that went soo well.

It was the rare occasion that Josephina came out for Hogsmeade weekends, but today she felt compelled to head to the Three Broomsticks that day. Making her way down the renowned pub, she wrapped her coat tighter around herself - pulling at the belt.
She slipped into the pub quietly, making sure to avoid eye contact because she wasn't here to converse with her students, as she made her way over to the corner booth after ordering one butterbeer.

Addison had remembered his wife mentioning something about a Hogsmeade weekend coming up in their conversations. Which at this point in the term was usually a way to catch up with each other. So the cursebreaker had kept an ear out for when exactly it was, since the shopkeepers tended to get excited about it, and planned to stop by the little village himself. A mild hope of managing a surprise for his other half.
After running errands in other shops as an excuse to be around, he had perched at the bar at the Three Broomsticks. A perfect spot to hide out it seemed until he noticed a familiar form step inside. Addi waited until Fina was seated before slowly getting up and making her way behind her seat. "Guess who..." he whispered as he lowered his hands in front of her face, loose enough not to scare her.

It was yes. Hopefully.
Silence. There was just silence while she stared at the ring shining in the dim lighting of the Three Broomsticks. Her jaw moved up and down, still trying to figure out what to say. Did she say yes? Did she say no? Melanie felt a twisty feeling in her stomach. Normal girls would probably jump up, exclaim yes and laugh. Melanie couldn't do that right now as she thought about all of it.
He was proposing to her.
Yes, they had been dating a long time but this was something Melanie had not been expecting. She had not seen that coming at all and that just made her all the more nervous about this decision. She didn't have the time to weigh the pros and cons of the situation. "I... uh... uhm..." Melanie stammered. Her face was getting more red as she tried to come up with the right answer. Was Melanie having doubts about marrying Landon? No. She would be lying if she hadn't thought about it before but this took her by surprise. "Uh..."
She needed to come up with an answer. Fast.
Taking a deep breath, she tried to calm her racing heart. She just needed to calm down and the answer would come to her. Deep breaths... in... and out. In... and...
"Yes," she blurted out before she could even breathe out. "Yes. Yes. Yes." she replied, feeling a million times more relaxed after giving her answer and feeling the silliest grin cross her face. "Yes!"

Landon was about to give up. It was too soon and Melanie was stammering in front of him. It was embarrassing and both of their faces were red. He messed everything up and it was all his fault. He should have just waited a couple more years or something. He looked around once again and saw...Tag? Great. Now he was going to get rejected right in front of his cous-
WHAT.
Landon's head snapped up and his jaw dropped. Did he just hear what he thought he heard? Did she just say yes? Melanie started repeating it over and over again and she was...smiling. She was SMILING.
The twenty-one year old smiled as big as he possibly could and grabbed her hand, shaking a little, and placing the ring on her left ring finger. He picked her up and started spinning them in a circle while he laughed. Then he remembered, spinning after having so many emotions was probably not the best idea. So he stopped spinning and put her back down on the ground. "You're going to be my wife. You're going to be my WIFE!" He said, with a surprised expression on his face. He then swiftly pulled her close and kissed her, dipping her like in one of those muggle movies.

After running errands in other shops as an excuse to be around, he had perched at the bar at the Three Broomsticks. A perfect spot to hide out it seemed until he noticed a familiar form step inside. Addi waited until Fina was seated before slowly getting up and making her way behind her seat. "Guess who..." he whispered as he lowered his hand in front of her face, loose enough not to scare her.
Medea had to admit, this was a lot harder than she thought it'd be. Having arrived at Hogsmeade earlier, she'd spent a good amount of time trying to find a suit that Airey would find decent enough. At least decent enough to be seen out in public in so he could find a suit he actually liked. Goodness, she herself didn't buy the most feminine clothes at times and got the occasional tie for the astronomy professor for previous gifts, but this was a whole new level of shopping!
Who knew thread count was so important...
Entering the Three Broomsticks for a quick break, she maneuvered around the tables towards an empty chair out of the way, the bag in her arms crinkling every time she moved. Oh! Had there just been a proposal?? How wonderfully lovely! Not only that, but it looked like she was neighboring with Josephina and her... friend? Husband? Someone?
She wiggled her fingers in their direction as she started to sit. Hellooooooo. Don't mind her.
