Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Braedon finally made it to Hogsmeade. He was excited to be here and meet all his friends he met in Asutralia. But he wanted to hang out with just Vinnie today . He wanted to get to know her better. It is what friends do right? As he walked in, he noticed he was the only one here. He smiled and decided to pick a table for two. He sat down and flattened out his outfit. He wanted to look semi presentable and not a total slob. He got his menu and decided on what he wanted while he waited for Vinnie to get here. Usually girls were fashionably late anyways.

To say that the morning started out nicely would be a huge exaggeration. Waking up to screaming and then Elisa melting down over and over for her daddy was just enough to almost make the thirty six year old owl her husband and say they wouldn't be visiting, but she really did want to visit, so popping over to Charely's and leaving Elisa where she clearly wanted to be, Victoria continued her way to Hogsmeade with Alana.
Making her way into the Three Broomsticks she looked around and realized that even with her mess of a morning she had arrived before Cossy, which was completely fine knowing he'd probably had student things and would be along soon. Looking around she found and empty table and made her way with Alana holding her hand. "Are you hungry?" She figured she could get her daughter something at least to keep her quiet.
Weeeee!! They were going to see Cos Cos he hadn't been home and daaaays and Alana didn't understand why. Mummy said they were seeing him today, but isa was wanting dadda which was nice because she got to see her dadda and cos cos on the same day! Holding her mummy's hand she moved her little legs as fast as they could, but couldn't help but stop a few times to look around. There were so many people. "Bar?" She looked up at mummy, was he here? Could they see him and maybe uc? Nodding as she climbed a seat that mummy had picked she was hungry!
The ears weren’t so bad; she could hide them decently with her hair, but the tail? The tail was another story entirely. For one thing she’d had to put a hole in her leggings to accommodate the tail, for another; it wouldn’t stop moving for anything.
Apparently it was going to take a few weeks to fade away, and though she’d like nothing more than to hide it from the Wizarding World, that wasn’t possible. Plus she had a thing with Jun and Lux tonight that she was actually looking forward to.
Flipping back her long hair, Justine walked through the not yet crowded bar and grabbed a table, all the while her tail kept moving around under her coat, making it look like she was smuggling an animal in the back of her pants or something. “Vraiment, really now?” Justine said, taking the tail in hand, stopping it’s agitating movement.
Derry was kinda excited to be here... mainly because she knew she didn't have to go back and do her exams again so she was able to enjoy being close to Hogwarts. Also, she was gonna see Toby. Lovely Toby. She loved that kid, had she mentioned?
She'd got to Hogsmeade kiiiiind of early, because she knew how rushed it could get in here, and she'd like somewhere to sit down, thank you very much. She had a crazy busy schedule all of a sudden and actually finding a moment where she wasn't flying or horse riding or at karate lessons was nigh on impossible. But here she WAS! Yay! She'd even managed to get herself up and presentable looking for once, even if that did mean throwing on one of her Magpies merch shirts because she'd forgotten to do her washing. Oops.
After ordering herself a butterbeer, Derry found a table and SAT DOWN. FINALLY. Merlin, active lifestyles were exhausting. So today she was going to drink butterbeer and eat cake and talk to her friends and she'd worry about everything else some other day. Right. Where was Toby?
Sofia had honestly never been to Hogsmeade before. She was from Austria. They had their own shoppes there. But so far, the blonde(right now pale pink, though) was impressed. And the view of the huge castle in the distance was...nice.
She liked it.
It was kind of BLUSTERING cold outside right now, though, so she hurried into the place she knew was the Three Broomsticks from Paris' description in the letter he had sent to her...like three days ago. And she wanted to come because he was her PARIS and she adored her Paris. Yes. Hers. Had she she told him this yet? NOPE. She probably shouldn't even BE thinking this way, though, with Zach back at Durmstrang...did her boyfriend know she was hereeee? HAHAHAHAHAH no. He would have killed her...or worse.
So where was the little fourteen-year-old, almost FIFTEEN? HMM? Sofia glanced around the little cafe-almost-place and decided to wait to order a butterbeer for when he arrived. Which he would, right? She sat down near the door so that she'd see when he came in...but for now...she waited..and she had a WEIRD feeling in her tummy...dread, probably for when Zach realized she wasn't there....

Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Samantha entered The Three Broomsticks. Looking around, she found an empty booth and sat down. She thought about what to eat with her free Butterbeer as she waited for Penelope to join her. If Penelope wanted something to eat, Sam would be happy to treat her.

Meeting Derry in Hogsmeade was something Toby wasn't going to miss for the world. He still had her letter, with details of when and where to meet, tucked away safely in his coat pocket, just because. He reached the Three Broomsticks in record time after leaving the castle, and burst through the door of the pub excitedly.
Even as he stepped over the threshold, the recently overworked academic part of his brain started reciting the facts about the place that he knew from studying his History of Magic textbook, and Toby quickly shushed all that. Today was NOT about studying, today was about QUALITY TIME with FRIENDS.
And THERE was his friend right now!
"Derry!" Toby called out to her, already heading straight for her and beaming widely as he went in for a hug. "I've missed you!"
Buying a drink could wait a few moments; reuniting was happening.

This was probably not the best day for Clara to socialise, but here she was regardless.
Just for mood reasons she shouldn't have been there. She had a serious case of the sads and a lot on her mind. Phoenix. Eden. All the people that she was suddenly aware of being so against her. She was finding it hard to find something good to focus on. There were books that she could escape to of course ... but there was also only so long that she could read for before her thoughts became too much again.
Luckily, Kalla had said she was going to be in Hogsmeade that weekend which had given Clara a reason to get out of the castle and do something other than reading. Kalla wouldn't know anything about the rubbish that she was going through currently, so hopefully they could just have a relaxed drink to take her mind off things.
... hopefully. Ugh.
After hanging her thick winter coat up on a hook, the red-head perched in a booth and waited for Kalla to arrive. Not too long now. She also took a good look at the menu, unsure whether she wanted to grab something to eat while she was here or not.

Kalla hated the cold most of the time, but this year it just didn't seem to bother her as much. Perhaps it was the fact she was content with most things in her life. Dunno. Shaking off the cold as she entered the warmth of The Three Broomsticks she shed her coat and hung it up. Now where was that sweet girl?
As she pulled her gloves off and rubbed her hands together she cast a glance about... AHA! There she was! Smiling she made her way to the booth. "Hey. Sorry I'm late. I usually am." BIGGER SMILES. Now it was time for butterbeer and conversation?

Derry was still looking around, sipping at her butterbeer when she heard her name being called - she'd been trying to catch sight of him before that, but she just hadn't noticed him. Oops.
"Toby!" She put her drink down and stood up to squish him into a hug. "I've missed you too!" she said, grinning down at the lad. "How're you doing? How's being back at school? How's Hogwarts coping without us all?"
To say that the morning started out nicely would be a huge exaggeration. Cosgrach wasn't late, nope! He was just busy trying to decide what to wear and how to comb his hair. In the end, he decided to wear a green wool sweater and jeans. He wanted the twins to comfortably hug him with the softness of the wool. He shaved in case he was getting any kisses too, and finally left the castle to meet his wife and step-daughters. Finally showing it to everyone who wasn't invited to the wedding and all.
He pushed the door open, paused to get warm and removed his coat while his eyes surveyed the café for them. There they were! He grinned from ear to ear and walked to them in long strides.
"Love," he greeted his wife as he pecked her on the lips, "and baby girl!" He smiled at Alana and kissed her quickly on the cheek. Where was Elisa? Was she okay?
Tiberius slid through the door of the Three Broomsticks, pulling Gabriel along behind him. "Did you know it was a student weekend?" he asked, squeezing his husband's hand and turning back to look at him. He certainly hadn't.
There was an odd nostalgia, seeing the students in the street. He hadn't prepared for it, but he found it nice. Different than what he'd thought the trip would be like when he'd suggested they get away for a few days. He imagined Hogsmeade as a sleepy village, but when the students came down, it seemed anything but.
He released Gabriel's hand as he slid into a seat in the corner. "Students or not, though, I'm glad we could take a few days away." He smiled, eyes twinkling, and rested his chin in his left hand. His right, he laid out face up on the table, ready to grab Gabe's again, soon as he sat down.

It hadn't been a long, extended time since he'd last seen his girlfriend, but still, Tag had promised to see her whenever he could. And he wasn't going to let Hogsmeade pass him up. So, after getting the notice from his girlfriend Tag made preparations for Hogsmeade.
And now he was here.
He walked inside the shop, as the two had agreed, and picked a booth closest to the door, but not right by it so that the breeze of it opening and closing could become a distraction. The blonde sat at the edge of his seat so he could have a better view of Lottie the second she would walk into the door.

"Alana don't climb the chair sweetie you are going to fall." She tried to get the two and a half year old to sit, but got a swat at the face instead and then some giggles. She shook her head and laughed when her brown eyes noticed her husband coming towards them. Leaning in to kiss him back she grinned. "Hello honey." It was so good to see him. It wasn't that long ago that she had seen him, but she missed him when he wasn't at home. Her smile got bigger as he leaned down to Alana. It was so wonderful how he treated her children. She couldn't ask for more.
"I hope we aren't taking you way from things at the castle." She figured some professors had to be here to watch over the students and she was really selfish and not all that sorry if she was keeping him from anything, though she would never say that. Finally taking a seat, she set her purse down next to her. "Elisa woke up with some horrible night terrors and wouldn't settle down, kept calling for Charely, so I took her over nd she decided to have a daddy day today, but this one, she couldn't wait to come over and see her Cos Cos." She leaned in and tickled Alana as she talked.
Chairs were fun to play in, Alana was standing on one and looked down from the back. It was fun until mummy said to sit down. Her lip went out to a pout, "No" She said in a whiny voice and slapped her little hand at her mother. The chair was too much fun and she bounced a bit holding on to the back, that was until she heard a familiar voice. Cos Cos was there, YAAAY! She turned clapping her hands just to see him leaning to give her a kiss. She puckered her lips and leaned to give him kisses as she lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck. "Cos Cos" Was he coming home with them?
Hearing Elisa's name she looked at her mummy, was sissy here? She didn't see her. Her brown eyes scanned around, but nope Elisa was there. Her little grin beaming when Mummy said Cos Cos' name she looked at him again and then started giggling and wiggling still hanging on Cos Cos as mummy started tickling.

Letting Tibs take the lead, as per usual, Gabriel returned the squeeze to his hand and felt an instant rush of warmth as they entered the Three Broomsticks. Of course, the sensation could also have had something to do with his current company. "Do you zink I keep a 'Ogwarts calendar on my writing desk?" he chuckled as he pulled the door shut behind them with his free hand.
Gabriel had only taken a handful of trips to Hogsmeade before, namely during the time that the Triwizard Tournament had been held at Hogwarts, so the sense of nostalgia that had Tibs' already charming eyes glazed over with wonder was not nearly as strong with him. He did recall that the fish and chips here were a delight, however.
Slidding into the seat beside his husband, leaving the two across from them completely empty, Gabriel began fussing with his bag looking for something and failed to notice Tibs' waiting hand. "Me too, naturally," he grinned as he removed something from his bag and held it behind his back. It took him just a second to see the hand now, and his right hand was quickly placed upon it and fingers interlaced. "Now, don't get too fussy with me, but I got you a little somezing." He then brought his left hand forward to present his husband with a slightly tattered copy of Madcap Magic for Wacky Warlocks tied with a silky gold ribbon. "It's not Creatures or Herbology, but somezing to help you relax with a bit of fun. We need to loosen up zose shoulders of yours."

As long as there would be another Hogsmeade weekend in another month or so, then she didn't mind having this one at all. After all, this was the longest she'd have to stay in school before June comes along. Someone was counting the days until Hogwarts was history. Truth be told, she was still happy for this weekend, it didn't matter if it was for a few hours, she'd still get to see one of the persons she misses most.
Lotus would've brought Marshmallow along, but it was still relatively cold outside, and she'd rather her kitten stay inside where it is warm for her.
Her pace had been quick, because she'd taken half the time it usually took her to arrive here, at Hogsmeade. But she didn't run. Would've taken her a minute to get here if she'd ran. The cold didn't agree with it, though. Someone did agree with her, and he was sitting so close to the door. She appreciated that, since she did run a little to get to him, and beamed at him. She was expecting a hug, he should totally hug her. She needed it.
Melanie felt weird being back here. She had spent so much time in America she practically forgotten all about being back here. She seldom had time off and when she did Melanie made an effort to come back over the ocean. Finally obtaining an apparation license, after several attempts, she was finally able to get between America and England easily. But here she was, in Hogsmeade.
After recording and a quick fansigning, she had received word from Landon to meet at the Three Broomsticks. Still dressed in the outfit she had worn to fansign, Melanie pushed her sunglasses up on her nose a little bit more. People around here didn't recognize her. She had become more of an American thing which wasn't surprising to her.
The former Gryffindor entered the Three Broomsticks and sat at a table near the back, waiting for the arrival of her boyfriend. While she waited, she'd try to decide on what to get to drink.

Waiting, waiting. Tag was waiting. Every time he heard the little ring of the bell above the door he shot his eye towards the entrance, not that he already had them practically glued into the direction. All these people could stop coming in, ok? It was making Tag oddly nervous. He just wanted to see his favorite female Hufflepuff Hogwartian.
Then, there she came, happy as could be. Or he hoped she was happy. And the blonde abruptly stood, and yes, gave her the hug she wanted, and the hug he wanted to give her. Hugs were usually exchanged when they hadn't seen each other in some time. Long hugs.
"What's got you so smiley, Wisteria?" He asked, just for the laughs. And, yes, the hug was still going on, until she broke it, at least. "Also, it took you a really long time to get here. Did you know that? I was timing you." Mhm. It wasn't true, but again, just to ease the greeting.
The ears weren’t so bad; she could hide them decently with her hair, but the tail? The tail was another story entirely. For one thing she’d had to put a hole in her leggings to accommodate the tail, for another; it wouldn’t stop moving for anything.

Tightening the green and silver scraf around his neck, the Norean walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. He always looked forward towards this weekend. It meant getting some fresh air away from the castle and its grounds and into the little town not far from them. Plus, Jun had gotten back his sweet tooth lately so a visit to Honeydukes was mandatory later. But for now, he was going to meet up with Justine and Lux at the Three Broomsticks. At least this time someone else would cook for them and it wasn't him. Opening the door to the place, Jun walked in and looked around.
Was he the first one here? Doubt it, he was usually the late one. Heading for a table, he noticed a certain brunette and sat down beside her. "Hello, Princess," He grinned and gave Justine a small nudge.

Lots of questions, yep, great, helpful.
Toby had missed this, hugs from Derry, and he certainly made the most of this moment right now. He hugged his friend tight and gave the most Hufflepuff hug he could, because that was totally a thing.
He grinned up at her as she bombarded him with questions, unable to keep from laughing a little.
"I'm good, school's good, and..." Uhhhhhhhhh... how to answer that? "Well, Hogwarts is just as crazy as ever, so I guess the jury's still out on that one." BUT more about that later. Toby was waaaaaaaaaay more interested in what Derry had been up to. She played for the Magpies now, after all. That was the team HE'D gravtitated to and hoped to play for some day. Derry was even MORE of a superstar in his eyes these days.
"How's Quidditch?" the Hufflepuff asked as he moved to take a seat, looking eager and totally ready to hear about Derry's after-Hogwarts life.

Landon Hughes was freaking out. He felt like he had already had two heart attacks along with five panic attacks along the way to The Three Broomsticks. Today was the day and he was panicking. So what kind of day? Today he was going to propose to Melanie. He had thought about it for a while, seeing Ryan already have a kid and everyone else getting married, the thought finally came to mind. Why not? They had been together for years and he definitely loved her. Sure he was sort of young, but he knew Melanie was right for him. He hadn't looked at any other girl and thought the same. Melanie was also always having guys around her because they were fans and Landon was getting pretty jealous. That might have added to his choice as well.
But today was the actual day. He had bought the ring about a month ago and he couldn't figure out a specific day until he found out that they would both have free time on the same day. He had told her that he would have to work before he came to see her here but instead he was at Hogsmeade the entire day, browsing the shops, panicking, and eating his stash of oreos.
Landon watched as Melanie walked into the three broomsticks from the store across the street and he sighed, running a hand through his perfectly shaggy hair. It was time. He touched the box in the inside pocket of his coat to make sure it was there and he nodded to himself and walked outside and into the three broomsticks.
He looked around and finally saw his girlfriend in the back. He wondered why no one was asking for her autograph at this point but he wouldn't complain. There was rarely a dinner or an outing that a person didn't come up to ask for her autograph.
The former Gryffindor gave a nervous smile and walked over to Melanie. "Hey Melon." He said, giving her a kiss. "You look amazing, as usual. How was the signing?" He took a seat and sighed in relief. Hopefully this would all go quick and she would say yes. Oh no. What if she didn't say yes?!?
Yes!
See? These hugs were entirely and completely welcomed! Unlike those of Scabior and Toussaint. You know, she still hadn't used one single coupon of the hug ones given to her by Toussaint. It was a lovely thought coming from the Ravenclaw kid, though, she still wanted to give him something. But that's neither here nor there. Her boyfriend was with her right now and that's all that mattered.
Still hugging her boyfriend, the seventh year Hogwartian answered with the truth, as always, "Oh, there's this kitten called Marshmallow, she makes me so happy," technically, that was true. She did let go of him a little at his mention of timing. AGAIN! There was no winning. Either she was super early and didn't even tell him she was on her way to meet him, or she was super late and had kept him waiting. No winning. So, she lightly poked his shoulder, "That's a lie. It's never taken me so little time to get to Hogsmeade." FACT.
Also, "Hi, boyfriend." Proper greetings, you know? Those happen.
Melanie actually did want to go home. Her feet was starting to hurt from the insanely tall heels her stylist had insisted on her wearing. Melanie had been too polite to decline them... plus they looked a lot better when she was sitting. She waited patiently at the table, fiddling with her necklace just slightly. What were they going to have for dinner today? She turned her attention to the menu before hearing a familiar voice.
Relaxing the second she heard it, she tilted her head up for the kiss and smiled. "Hey Pobby," she said. Melanie smoothed her hair out and watched him take a seat. He looked... nervous? Was that the right word to describe him right now? Melanie couldn't really tell. Instead she just smiled. "Thanks, it was okay. If my manager keeps this up, I might need to get a brace for my wrist," she said with a grin. Not that she was complaining. She loved her job. She absolutely adored meeting the people who enjoyed her music and getting to stand on a stage. It made her happy and that was all she wanted.
"How was your day at work?" she asked.

"How was your day at work?" she asked.
Landon couldn't help but blush as she called him by his nickname and he mind froze for a second. Did he actually just blush? He never blushed. Rarely. And she called him that all the time, so why now? He guessed it was just all the nerves and she looked really pretty. She must have been messing with his emotions.
He heard her saying something and he finally tuned back in just to hear her say something about a brace for her wrist. "Why would you need a brace? Did one of your fans almost break your wrist?" He said, furrowing his brow, getting kind of mad. He didn't want anyone to hurt her, especially these fans who said they 'loved her'. They obviously didn't know about true love if they were going to hurt her.
Work. Work. Oh right. The work he didn't go to today. "Uh...it was alright. I played one of your songs today." He grinned. It was funny how he could be away from her but yet he was still kind of near her.
