| | |  The Fireplace
Hogwarts' kitchen is an enormous, high-ceilinged stone room, as large as the Great Hall. There are mounds of bright, shiny brass pots and pans heaped around the stone walls and a great brick fireplace at the other end, which the House Elves use to cook and sit upon when in need of a break. Looking to cook your own meal? No need! The house elves will be REALLY happy to serve you, now that they're back at Hogwarts.
If you're by the fireplace, then you're at the other end. Careful how you get here, though; the House Elves are a bit touchy about students invading and acting like they own their private workspace....
OOC: Please do not RP for the House Elves! We have a lovely group of actual elves who would love to RP with you if you will please be patient.

She had finally made her way to the kitchens and now she had to find Lux, well and her fairies. She sent all the house elves that she passed warm smiles as she made her way closer to the large fireplace. “Hey Lux” she grinned at her friend as she took a seat in front of the warm fireplace with her. Okay, okay she scooted back a bit when she heard a noise from her jar.
“do you think you’ll have fairie eggs?” She asked Lux as she glanced down at the two small winged creatures in her jar. She needed to differentiate the two right? Carefully she pointed her wand into one of the small air holes and cast a silent immobulus. When it seemed to be the charm she unscrewed the lid of her jar and pointed her wand at one of the frozen fairies.
This wouldn’t hurt…and well, she needed to know which was which.

Hearing a familiar voice, Lux smiled. She had been so absorbed with her fairies, she had almost forgotten that she was expecting company. Oops. Hehe.
"Hi, Puck! I was just wondering about fairy eggs." So it was kind of funny to hear her friend bring it up. "That would be cool! And right now I'm trying to figure out how to tell them apart." Which clearly wasn't going so well.
Watching Puck, she saw her cast a spell through an air hole and immobilize the fairies. Huh. Why hadn't that obvious option not occurred to her as well? Shrugging it off, she proceeded to do the same thing, immobilizing her fairies.

They look like a hipster rock band now.
Closing the lid once more she removed the freezing charm from the fairies and watched them glance at each other and it seemed like they were laughing. “Any ideas yet?” She asked Lux as she glanced at the two still laughing creatures.
“Hey buddy” she told the fairy and watched it just stare at her. And then turned her attention back to Lux, “I mean, you could always change the color of their clothing…covering things” she shrugged at the Lux and then grinned. “or you could conjure a fairy dress for one and a suit for the other, make some dapper fairies.” She grinned.

Giggling, Lux nodded at what Puck said. "I would love to see little baby fairies." She wondered how long it would take for the babies to be born and if Professor Thompson would let her see them.
Probably, because he was so nice.
The idea of the clothes was amazing. "You are so clever, Puck!" Smiling, she changed the colour of their outfit...things. One became green, and the other became yellow. "I am not sure of their genders, so this way I'm not accidentally dressing a boy as a girl or a girl as a boy." That wouldn't be very nice, so she had chose gender neutral colours.
Once the fairies were moving around once again, Lux waved at them and then made funny faces. They seemed to like it, because they laughed. "I think they know who I am now." Making sure her fairy jar’s lid was closed she picked up the little jar and began to talk to the little fairies. “How’s it going?” She asked both Lux and the fairies as really she more expected Lux would be able to answer her.
“I get that, the not wanting to confuse between the two thing” she shrugged her shoulder and glanced at the easily determinable fairies.

Shrug. No big deal. Well, not a big deal all the time. Sometimes, like in class, when Zahra wasn't being THAT bad and the PRofessors yelled at her in front of everyone - that was kind of a big deal.
