The Courtyard Leaving the courtyard corridor, you will find yourself in an enclosed, squared courtyard. It is covered with bright green grass with various plants placed around the stone walls. This is the perfect place for meeting friends, or a chance of fresh air whilst catching up with your homework. There are plenty of stone benches placed around the area, too! |
After maybe spending a whole day sleeping, Paloma took the courage and headed downstairs, to finally live the school life again. Once after eating breakfast, she took her little trip towards the outside, to see what she hadn't in months...after the big ice age and practically almost fleeing out of Hogwarts once the term had ended. Also, her cat Vader was following her...as creepy as you may imagine. Out of her purse, she took her Magic of History textbook and some notes she had scribbed over and over, then followed by looking at the Astronomy notepad from the previous term. Studying had to start... |
Tessa had found her way to the great outdoors, she laid down in the ground, looking up at the sky. Tessa soon found herself getting tired, and more tired. A little nap wouldn't kill anyone. |
Casey ^_^ Mitchell had been at Hogwarts long enough to know that he better enjoy the sunshine while it existed. Especially after last term. So he was outside. To soak it up. He laid out in the grass and closed eyes. This. Was. The. Life. And he planned on fully enjoying it until he absolutely had to study for exams. |

She stretched out onto his lap and put a bunch of her hair on his chin for tickles. |

"Studying already, hmm?" She teased. |

"So. What have you been up to, dear Isla?'' She raised her eyebrow, as she spotted her kitten not far away from Isla's hand, as if he was ready to attack.... |

Nevertheless he wandered over to her, sitting himself beside her and just maintaining a silence for a moment. "Hey" he offered, finally, not really sure whether that was the right thing to say or not... or if she'd even heard him..."How are you feeling?" That was a better way to start a conversation... if she was awake... |
Samantha sat down on the grass with her sketchbook and box of pencils. She was needing some time to think and drawing always made her feel relaxed. She looked at the castle and began drawing. She was lost in her own world but if anyone wanted her company, she didn't mind. |

The brunette watched as Paloma closed her books and notes and was about to ask why she didn't keep studying but decided against it. It was good not to study just yet...right? "Hmm...just trying to get over stuff I guess." She shrugged. "Mainly eating donuts and wandering around. How about you, dear Paloma?" She said, mimicking Paloma's 'dear' phrase. She then watched as Paloma's gaze wasn't even at her but at something else. Isla looked down and saw a cat who didn't seem to like her because it looked like it was going to attack. She scooted a little bit away and laughed. "Is this your cat?" |

SPOILER!!: Tessa He couldn't help but laugh a bit at the way that she shot up quickly, but tried to stop as quickly as possible, just grinning at her instead. "I'm great" he said with a grin. "We had a bit of a house party after the feast when we got back to the common room so I'm a bit tired but otherwise just great" he really was, and despite being tired he was literally living off of the excitement that he was currently living off of his excitement. "Yeah I'm in Gryffindor, thanks to the House Party managed to find a couple of people, first years as well as a couple of others... what about you?" he questioned in response, after explaining his own situation. Truly he was loving Hogwarts though, even though they hadn't been here long. |

But his thoughts were interrupted. He started sitting up and swatting at whatever was on his face. It felt hairy. Like a hairy... ... hair. He opened an eye to confirm his suspicions. Thanks for that girlfriend. |
Quote:
"If you ever grow a mustache, use my hair. It matches your eyes." ...this was her being oh-so-romantic, yep. And she waited for what exactly he was happy to see. Her face? Grin. |

Samantha nodded sadly when Penelope asked about the hourglass. "Our fellow Ravenclaw Abby Valentine slapped her sister Angel who is in Gryffindor hard across the face at the start of term feast and Angel retaliated. I think it was over a Gryffindor boy. They are sort of spending time cooling down. Hopefully, things will right themselves soon." |
Clara <3 Noel didn't trust it - the sun and the pleasant weather, that is. After the previous term, he was skeptical. He was sure something BAD will happen eventually, like perhaps it'll rain for 40 days straight. Walking out in the courtyard, the thirteen year old walked around, enjoying the nice day but NOT trusting it AT ALL. |
Angel ^^ The snow storm better stayed away this year because Kevin wanted to catch up his missed time outside. Which wasn't possible of course but he could try. He held a tennis ball in his hand as he entered the courtyard. He sat down on one of the benches near the wall and began to throw the ball in the air and catching it. |

How was his summer? Horrible, he couldn't get out of the house half the time since his parents found out he had gotten in to trouble so many times. It was his own fault though...he had tried to boast about it and the reaction was not expected. Some people were no fun. "Why do you care about my summer? its just summer break, big deal" he answered while rolling his eyes, which meant he dropped the ball and it bounced away from him and rolled over the grass. "Aww man" he groaned. |

Angel watched as Kevin dropped the ball. "I'll get it." Angel ran over and picked up the ball before passing it back to Kevin. "Hey Kevin, I'm great at throwing a ball you know." Angel didn't want to boast but her sister had taught her because she loved baseball, so Angel just normally threw the ball for her sister to bat and she had got pretty good at it. |
Alice/Phoenix! :3 To be honest, the only reason Grayson was out here in the courtyard was because of how great it felt to be outdoors at Hogwarts. Not because of the weather -- which was surprisingly nice, especially for a day in September up north. Suspicious? He was. Grayson strutted his way over towards an empty bench and sat down with as much suave as he could muster. He didn't have much on him; no homework, no books, nothing that was considered BORING, in fact. All he carried around in his leisurely walk was a large packet of Bertie Botts beans that he proceeded to rip open. A bean was taken out, tossed up in the air and........... ................... bounced off of his face and onto the floor. "Freaking son of a snitch!" Was he NEVER going to get this right?! Rubbing the side of his nose was currently happening, obscuring his vision from whoever was nearby. Were there kids nearby? Were they about to hear his mutterings of words he would NOT say in front of his mother? Did he even care? The last one was a good ol' solid no. Rub rub. |
