Usually in the Room of Serenity, SNAC members might have noticed that they were headed to their Divination Classroom for this particular meeting. As they come through the trap door the first thing they notice is a change again to the room's decor.
The room is very dark with a big circular table in the center. There is enough chair for members. The room is lit by a candle chandler hanging above the table. The typical quiet relaxing music and the sent of incenses fills the room.
Professor Cassie is sitting quietly in one of the chairs at the table. She looks very relaxed as if she might have been meditating before the meeting was to start.

Professor Cassie's grandpa was here. Penelope had no doubts about what she saw. The spirit had sent a sign that he was really here.
They got to ask a question! She wanted her question to be something that she could really learn a lot from. It was a challenge to find a good question with a yes or no answer. If it wasn't a yes or no answer, he might take over someone's body. Penelope looked at Professor Cassie. "What happens if he takes over someone's body? What would happen to the person whose body was taken over?" . Would grandpa Morgan think that she had asked him? Was her body going to be taken over? Her question had not been directed at the spirit, but if he decided to answer the question that had not been a yes or no question... She could find the answer to her question either way, the professor or the spirit.
Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Samantha had decided to not ask Grandpa Morgan any questions as she would be repeating what others had said. Instead, she focused on not breaking the connection. She was curious as to the spirit's answer to the questions that had been asked of him.
Angel was shocked when he hit the table twice... this was so amazing and she totally wanted to try this out herself could she try? Like maybe call someone out she knew?
Angel looked at the Professor and gave a cheeky grin. "Did your granddaughter ever misbehave when she was growing up?" Angel then decided to clarify her question. "I mean like seriously misbehave?" Angel hoped she could get some information on the subject... some gossip she might be able to use later.
He heard his granddaughters words, but knew they weren't to him. So the misty head stayed at the center and turned to look at the ones that spoke to him.

Hogwart's ghost had been around for as long as the school had been, he went to the school so he let the candle fall not once, but twice.

So this was Professor Cassie's grandpa. Huh. Squeezing Bay's hand for comfort, Lux stared at the spirit in front of her. There was nothing to fear; she'd be okay with her boyfriend beside her.
Thinking of a question, she finally said the first thing that came to her mind. "Mister Morgan, did you see a white light when you died?" Or was that just nonsense that muggles had come up with?
The white light was always a question that was asked, a joke among them now. The candle fell twice again.

The spirit looked towards the child with the question about his granddaughter, this was not of the child's business, but he let the candle fall once.

That was an interesting question and Henry figured it would depend on the person, but since it was him answering the candle fell once.

This boy got two knocks from the candle, but nothing for his next, that as a bit hard to answer with just knock. This was starting to get boring to him that he couldn't explain. Henry was a talker and knocking was not his style.

He knew this question was not towards him, but he felt the need to answer. Looking around the mist moved from the center of the table and went directly into a boy (Adi) sitting a moment and thinking about speaking, it just didn't feel like a body to be in so he moved out and went to another, (Jasmine) still not feeling the connection he needed to speak he moved out and back to the center.
The mist soon moved from the table once more and entered the Professor.

Holy moley, he was here. AJ was a believer. She was an official believer. This was so cool. Questions? Hmmm... what did she want to ask a dead person? One thing popped into her mind at once. "Are there unicorns in the after life?" Yes, she really just asked about unicorns. "I mean unicorns eventually die so do they let humans and animals all together?" Or was there a separate section.
Wait a minute, the misty blob was moving. It was going toward the professor. O_O Were they about to see first hand was a possession of the body was? This just got ten times more interesting. Keep to the professor's body though. Please and thank you.

One candle fall for Adi's question. He had gotten his answer but he still figured that dieing did hurt for some. He just didn't get this opportunity to ask ghosts or spirits the question.
As Grandpa Morgan finished answering nearly everyone's questions, the Hufflepuff became aware that the mist was moving...towards him. Adi could feel it getting a bit colder as the mist got closer...and closer...until it was in him.
Of course, Adi didn't realise anything after that. Everything went blank for him. But as abruptly as things went blank, he became aware of things again. Just in time to see the mist enter Jasmine. Then Professor Morgan. O_O
Woahh now this was getting cool. He could ask the Professor's grandfather any question he wanted. He thought about one and someone asked about heaven and hell. He was gonna ask that. Hmm...what to ask. He thought about one and said, "Erm Mr. Morgan were you afraid of death?" I mean it was a legit question he would have liked to know. Everyone is afraid of death in some shape or form.

Yes she knew the students would be excited to get to ask questions, so Cassie just took that time to focus on the energy in the room and keeping the connection. Her eyes watched as the students started answering questions and grandpa started answering. Eyeing Angel and her question, but grinning as she heard the one knock. Yes she was a good child, so no harm at all.
Well no harm until she saw the mist moving. No, no this wasn't what she wanted. What was the spirit of her grandfather doing. She watched as it went towards Adi and into Adi before she could warn of the feeling. Seeing him leave Adi she felt better, he wouldn't hurt anyone being in their, but it did take a lot of their energy and it was energy they needed to keep him a little longer. As he moved to Jasmine she was going to break hands, but then he was coming towards her.
This she could do, so Cassie closed her eyes and allowed him to speak through her.
Now that he was in a place that was going to allow him to speak and it was a focus that he could do, he looked towards the children. "I am Henry William Morgan." He spoke in a very weird low voice. Looking towards the children he had already answered, but wanted to expand on those answers..

Well he wasn't Professor Cassie, but now he would answer. "The spirit just enters a host to talk, that's all. No harm will come. She really won't know that it happened other than her energy will be drained." So no harm to his granddaughter at all.

The boy didn't seem to notice the changes that had went on in the room, but no matter Henry would answer his questions as well. "My death was quick, I was working in my lab on a potion that went wrong. So I didn't really see it coming." It happened and it was over now.
He could feel the energy draining, "I think it's time to end my visit. It was very nice to meet you all." He didn't want to fully exhausted Cassie, so he made his exit and the misty figure was back on the table and with a poof the warmth returned to the room.
She knew what was going on through out the time, but at the same time she didn't remember much once she felt the presence leave her. Seeing the mist poof away she let go of the hands she had been holding. Leaning back in her chair the blonde was a bit tired from the ordeal. "Congratulations everyone, you just sat through your first necromancy. You all have done a wonderful job. Do you have any questions before we leave? Oh wait." She grabbed her wand and flicked it to have chocolate cake, grape soda, plates, and forks arrive in front of them. "I did promise a treat for the end." She gave Zeke a tired wink. "Now enjoy and if you have any questions just ask."
She figured they did, but she was certainly in need of some cake.

The spirit entered the professor, and spoke to her. It didn't last long, but it was enough to completely impress the lion. She was glad that she waited until he entered Cassie's body because it was cooler to hear her answer instead of just going off of a candle falling. Plus, unicorns were in the after life. It didn't get much better than that.
Actually, she did have a question. "Can you---" Chocolate cake? Her eyes were wide and her question was cut off mid sentence. Forgetting momentarily about where she was going with that question, the lion retrieved some cake and grape soda. Now this is what she was talking about. She forked off a huge bite, and chewed it almost lady like. Mmm... chocolate cake.

Wow. Grandpa Morgan spoke. Was it safe to say Adi was even more fascinated by this Divination practice? Though he had to admit at first he had been very uncertain about the whole thing but now that he had seen first hand everything that went on, it wasn't a bad process.
"Will we be doing this again, Professor?'' Adi had more questions about the afterlife. No obsession with death here, okay?
Mmm. Cake and soda. The Puffer wasted no time helping himself to a slice of chocolate cake. Anything chocolate was awesome.

Jasmine was completely fascinated with this whole process. Professor Cassie's grandfather was there. She could see him and he was answering questions. Jasmine couldn't think of anything to ask, so she just watched and listened. And then, his head started to move.
When he seemed to pass through Adi's body, Jasmine watched in amazement. Then Grandpa Morgan was coming for her. Almost tempted to break the connection, Jasmine stayed still and silent. She had a very strange feeling, as the spirit seemed to pass through her. Apparently Jasmine wasn't was not quite to Grandpa Morgan's liking. That might have been the weirdest thing that Jasmine had ever experienced.
Correction the weirdest thing was yet to come. Now Mr. Morgan was talking through Professor Cassie. The thing that Jasmine had been afraid of was happening. He/she was giving answers to everyone's question. Then just as suddenly he was gone. The room was warm again. Their Professor was herself again. Questions? Jasmine had about a million, but for now she just paused to digest everything she had seen.

Ian was excited to know that Henry Morgan knew the Hogwarts ghosts. It was more of a connection to them and to Hogwarts. He was startled as the mist moved to Adi and then a girl he didn't really know before settling in the professor. The professor spoke in a low voice, answering questions in a fascinating manner while they all sat there. Everyone acted as if this were as normal as eating a plate of chips. Amazing. Ian loved being a student here. Craziness was the norm and normal was non existent.
As soon as it had started, the thing they were doing left the professor and then poofed away and the warmth in the room ended. Professor Cassie asked if they had questions before she put food out. He wasn't interested in the food. Professor. Are we able to call to people with whom we don't have connections? This had been such an awesome meeting and cool time. He wanted to do it some more, but the professor looked tired a little and he didn't want to be a bother.

The spirit took over the professor and answered her question, and a few other questions. Penelope hadn't meant for anybody to be possessed, but Professor Cassie seemed to be alright with it. She didn't hear anybody yelling at her for asking the question, so she assumed that she wasn't in trouble, unless Professor Cassie didn't remember what had happened or was too exhausted to be mad at her. The professor usually didn't get angry, so she was probably not mad. When the spirit was gone, Penelope let go of the hands that she had been holding.
After the chocolate cake appeared, Penelope put a piece of cake on a plate and got a fork for the cake. This cake wasn't for her, it was for Professor Cassie. Penelope turned to Look at Professor Cassie. "Sorry, professor, I didn't think he was going to take over your body." It had been her question that caused the spirit to take over the professor. She handed the cake to Professor Cassie. "Have some cake." Professor Cassie was going to need the cake, and was probably tired.

Ha, you know what the real reason for staying so long was? FOOD. That's what. At the sight of the CAKE Zander completely forgot how weird that all just was. Hehe. Who needed to talk to dead people when you could eat some cake. But also, that Henry William Whatever guy was kind of grumpy. And really, what was the point of that whole thing? Watching the candle tapping the table in response to their questions, Lux had to admit that this whole experience was pretty cool despite the creepiness. So there WAS a white light after death. Maybe she could ask him another question.
Considering what else she wanted to know, it was a surprise to see the mist float towards Adi before entering him. And as soon as that happened, he was making his way towards Jasmine before settling for Professor Cassie. Good, he could stay there for as long as she was concerned. Clearly the woman didn't mind and this way she was spared from potentially being possessed.
A whole bunch of creepy stuff happened and then CAKE. Now this was her kind of meeting.

That is a little more difficult, but if you have a name of someone you can call them out to try to get the spirit or if you are just trying for any spirit there is a chant to call them to visit as well. Calling random ones takes a little more time and you have to be cautious of who might come to visit, but it can be done."

Professor Cassie seemed a little concerned about Jasmine and Adi. "I'm fine", Jasmine replied. Maybe she was a teeny bit tired, but tired was pretty much her normal state these days. "I was afraid of the idea of spirit talking through another person. When it happened, it wasn't as scary as I'd expected." Weird, but not scary.
"Thank you Professor Cassie. It was quite an interesting experience tonight." Jasmine grabbed a piece of cake for the road and left to head back to her Common Room.

She figured they did, but she was certainly in need of some cake.
It was strange, watching as Professor Cassie was... possessed? Was that the right term? It was the only one he could think that would fit. But hey, he was getting an answer now.
He didn't know his mother. That answered two of his questions, and only one of them had been voiced. What he learned from it was that heaven or whatever, was a big place. That spirits were not all knowing, and that they probably didn't know everyone anyway. Lots of people died, so there were lots of people to meet. Or something like that. "Thank you..." he murmured in response anyway.
He was partially listening now, but he only caught snippets of conversation. It was a good thing that the Professor wouldn't be harmed by the possession thing, that'd be awkward.
As Mr. Morgan left Professor Cassie, Zeke followed her lead and dropped the hands he'd been holding. That was... interesting. And, was it weird that the one class Emily had told him not to bother with was one that he was most curious about? It seemed pretty neat, especially if he could raise the dead... ahem... talk to the dead.
Zeke grinned as the foodstuff appeared on the table, and he instantly helped himself to cake. Heheh, it was at HIS request, so he would take his cake and eat it. Yep. This was the best thing everrr.
As for questions, he had HEAPS, but owing to the fact that they were probably short on time, and because eating was not conducive to speaking, he selected only one for now. "Professor, can you summon spirits on your own? Or do you need to have a group?"

Adi nommed at the cake, completely feeling at ease despite all the strange happenings a few moments ago. He nodded at Professor Cassie when she answered his question. He wouldn't mind trying this again. But it got him wondering about other Divination methods. There had to be other fascinating one like this.
Tired? Adi heard the Professor mentioning that to Jasmine. Nope. He wasn't tired. Maybe it was the sugar hyping him up or maybe it was because Grandpa Morgan hadn't been in him that long. Either way, the Puffer felt fine.
He leaned over to AJ. "Whenever you're done and ready to go.'' He was finishing up on the slice of cake now anyway.
Woah now that was cool to have a spirit answer his questions! He was still in shock over it! "Man professor that was cool! I have one question. How do spirits get the energy to speak?" He was curious about that. "I mean they are dead but like I just wonder.." he shrugged and then he saw the treats and saw there was cake.
Don't mind if I do! He took some and put it on a plate. He even took some fizzy pop and drank some. This was the best meeting ever. He learned a lot and had funny communicating with the dead.

Oh, umm... she never did ask her question. What was it again? The chocolate cake had her completely sidetracked. "I was just going to ask if you could talk to anybody, and how you would get them to come if you aren't exactly connected to them." Ian sort of asked the same question, and now that she had a full belly the question wasn't that important to her anymore.
AJ took the last bite, and smiled up at Adi. "I'm almost ready." She licked her fork clean. "All set." Couldn't leave any chocolate behind, now could she?

She smiled at Ian as he got ready to leave, "I'm so glad you liked it. Have a nice night."

"Thank you Professor Cassie. It was quite an interesting experience tonight." Jasmine grabbed a piece of cake for the road and left to head back to her Common Room.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it Jasmine and if you are feeling at all tired from him passing through it will pass with sleep." She was very confident that Jasmine was probably already feeling alright.

She beamed at Zeke, "It is much easier with a group, being alone usually does not give the energy and focus that a spirit needs to come, but groups only usually have to be of three, it is always better for more, but three would work just fine." She didn't think he'd be trying to do it alone, but she did know what he asked her grandfather.

"Our energy is what they use, when he entered me and he used my focus and energy to speak through me. They can't speak unless visiting a living body." Did that make sense to him?

Yes she did already answer that with Ian, "Just like I said to Ian, you can have people you aren't connected to, it just takes more focus and more patience."
Looking around the room she waited and said good by to all her SNACinators before locking the classroom door. She was exhausted from the experience, but seeing her grandfather was always worth it. Heading back to her office she needed a cup of tea and some rest.
