She was not going to break her concentration now.

Jasmine repeated the words and kept staring at the center of he table. Was it getting colder again or was she just imagining things? More candle flickering? Jasmine felt like she was looking into a crystal ball because she started seeing some misty swirling. Just as when she looked into the ball, she wondered if she was really seeing the mist or was it her eyes playing tricks on her. Time would definitely tell.

Alexa bit at her lower lip and did her best to listen to the assumptions that spilled forth. At the back of her mind she wanted to point out she'd joined SNAC back when Elwood was here and that it was her who got the Gryffindor liking the subject before she came with all her Astrology and valentine cookies but then she remembered Airey and the talk they had down in the kitchen so she just kept gnawing away at her lip. The interest was very much there despite what the Diviner thought otherwise Alexa wouldn't be in the room. No one ever heard of passive interest?

She didn't appreciate the term 'non-believer' either, not when the proper terms were 'logical', 'knowledgeable' and 'well educated'. Not her fault this stuff wasn't able to be proven by science and she didn't think that should be taken out on her for wanting to observe the absurd. That was her interest. She had several.

Oh but then Professor Smiles wanted her to leave? Might as well had walked out with Toby if she'd get kicked anyway. So much for trying to show some interest--hang on, why did it sound like Lex was being kicked out of Divination as a whole? Without giving confirmation of said meeting (that she'd have the ill luck of having to go to anyway) Lex spun on her heels and simply left the room. They could keep their bloody imaginary spirits, she was going to Airey.

Divination was weird. And did Toby just leave? And why was everyone just going along with this and not questioning. What was the point of bringing ol' Henry William Morgan Person back?

OHMYMERLINHOLYWHAAAATTTT???? The candles! They were here! The dead people were here! Or dead person.. But yes, that was them. It had to be. Who else would flicker the candles? And how come dead people were so cold? Maybe he should've brought a jacket because talk about chilly. And in the midst of the mild panick, Zander began chanting even faster.

Adi wasn't surprised to see someone leaving. He was surprised it was Tobias though. But who could blame him? This was still kind of creepy. And Adi was trying to keep that feeling away.

Ehh...was it his imagination or was there some whiteish stuff there? He blinked hard. OH MERLIN! Was that Granddaddy Morgan? He was really HERE! Well, his spirit was. It was working!

This was incredible.

Not only was Caleb "The Dark One" Newell a whole new person (and a better one at that), but he'd told Glendower to shush it. And now they were holding hands.

AND THEN they were all chanting! AND THEN Professor Morgan told Cambridge that this was a cult and if she wasn't onboard with it she needed to get out...cause this was a cult!


Did paradise exist? Cutty Mordaunt certainly thought so from the looks of the Divination Tower this evening.

"Henry William Morgan, be guided by the lights of this world and visit upon us. Henry William Morgan, be guided by the lights of this world and visit upon us." He chanted gleefully, no quite stimulated and excited for what was to happen next.

She was in full concentration chanting with her students and best friend. She could feel the energy moving around the room and everyone's focus was now in order. It was exciting, but she kept herself calm. Feeling the coldness come back her heart picked up a bit, but not from fear, excitement. She wanted her students to see and believe.

Seeing the mist at the center she grinned, "Welcome spirit to our Divination room. Thank you for coming as we called." Taking a glimpse around she kept her voice calm and quiet. "Do not fear the spirit, he has come willingly and wants to contact with us as much as we want with him." He wouldn't have come if he didn't.

Looking back to the spirit she smiled happily, "Spirit if you are Henry William Morgan give us a sign. Two sounds for yes, one for no." She took a breath and listened.. waiting.

He was still holding hands, but soon stopped chanting when the mist thing happened. And then Professor Cassie spoke. It wanted to contact them tooo? Really? COOOOOOL... kinda. Unless it was to tell us we were all going to die horrible horrible GRIMly deaths.

Still... he waited... listening out for any sound. ANY sound at all.

"Henry William Morgan, be guided--" Oh. Were they stopping that now? heh. Oops.

A sign? What kind of sign was she looking for? Sounds? Could dead people even make sounds, though? .... So yes. Waiting now. This was beyond creepy, just saying.

Professor Cassie had given the go ahead for people to leave the meeting, but Lux found herself unable to break away from the circle no matter how creepy seances were. Holding Bay's hand made her feel safe, and so she stayed where she was while Toby then Lex left the room.

Though she did not take up the chanting, the cold was soon back and a mist appeared. Somehow she had expected something more than plain mist, but at least it wasn't a corpse because that would be gross. Curiously she wondered what kind of sound a bunch of mist could make.

Angel was totally enjoying this and she was staying as calm and as still as she could she wished that the ghost would come and say hello because she wanted to know more about him because well it must be some sort of relation to the Professor in the room and maybe it could give them some stories.

Was he here? Jasmine continued to focus into the mist. She listened as Professor Cassie asked for a sign. Yes, knocking please. Knocking would be fine, just no talking through one of us please. Signs were good. Full body takeovers, not so much. Jasmine waited with anticipation, as did everyone else.

A spirit really was there? Did that mean it didn't necessary mean it was old Grandpa Morgan? Well, they would find out soon enough. Adi realised that he wasn't nervous or anything anymore. He was excited!

Come on, Spirit. Tell us who you are. Adi waited along with the others for the noise.

Some people weren't taking this seriously, and AJ could understand that. Even she wasn't all that convinced if she believed in the subject, but it was dead fascinating, and she was going to try her best. If this person actually did come, then AJ would believe. The lion would just have to wait and see where this went. It was exciting to think about.

More chanting. "Henry William Morgan, be guided by the lights of this world and visit upon us. Henry William Morgan, be guided by the lights of this world and visit upon us. Henry William Morgan, be guided by the lights of this world and----" What was that? AJ had her eyes wide open and she caught the flickering of the candles. She blinked a few times. Was somebody there? How would they look? Her eyes went all blurry when she looked at the center of the table.

So... he was here? AJ was still waiting for the sign.

The mist formed and a man's face began to faintly appear. He was facing the professor and his eyes stayed locked on hers. Hearing her words towards the others for the first time the spirit looked at the others. So many had come to call.

Hearing the words of a sign he spotted a candle on a back table away from the group. Letting it float towards the table they were at he let it hit the table not once, but twice.

Yes he was Henry William Morgan.

Whoa! He was here. Jasmine watched as Grandpa Morgan's face appeared and the candle floated across the room. One knock, two knocks. This was so cool. Jasmine wasn't quite sure that all of her classmates would feel the same way though. She waited, eyes wide, to see what Professor Cassie would do next.

Grandpa Morgan was here! For real, yo! Adi staaaaaared. This had actually worked. Wow. He sat there speechless after hearing those two knocks on the table. He could even make out the faint outline of Morgan's face.

Still Adi continued to stare in awe.

Ian watched as something like a head appeared. Then he heard a thumping on a table away from him. It was happening, it was really happening! They had called to the dead and someone was there. He wanted to ask a question so badly, but he didn't want the professor to get upset if he went before he was supposed to. It was no longer difficult to maintain focus. All of Ian's focus was securely on the misty head in the center of the room who had let them know it was Henry Morgan. It was happening, he repeated inside his own head.

As Kace was waiting for Prof Cassie's grandpa to knock, he was just sitting there patiently. He wondered if this was gonna happen. So he had to knock twice for yes or once for no. He heard two knocks and was flabberghasted. With his eyes wide, was impressed the spirit made contact. He was staring at the professor in awe, waiting to hear more instructions.

She had no doubt that she would see what she was seeing or hear what she was hearing. She had done this before of course. Keeping her hands connected she leaned closer to the table. "Thank you for the sign Grandpa. My SNACinators are thrilled you could join us." The pep wasn't in her voice it was still very calm and dull, but her face showed her excitement.

Green eyes glancing around the room she spoke directly to her members, "I've had the opportunity to know this spirit all my life, lived with him for a few years, and unfortunately even was there to watch his end. So I know all I need to know about him and I have had a chance to ask about the afterlife with him as well as other. I want to give you all the opportunity to interact with him. They have to be yes or no questions since the knocking is the only way he can communicate unless he'd take over someones body." Which wasn't going to happen this evening.. she hoped.

Ian got all the encouragement he needed. He looked at the professor as she said they could ask Mr Morgan questions. Mr. Morgan, Ian began. He thought for a second and asked the first thing that popped into his mind. Do you know any of the Hogwart's ghosts?

Thrilled that Grandpa Morgan could join them? Adi was beyond that. This was the most fascinating, interesting thing he'd encountered all year so far.

And Adi did have a question. To bad they could only ask yes or no ones because he would have loved an explanation. "Grandpa Morgan,'' he began, shooting a look at Professor Cassie. "Does...um...dieing hurt?'' Adi was regretful of asking that question but he was very much curious.

HOOLY DOOLY! LOOKIT IT!

Zeke sat silently now, his mouth hanging slightly open. This was really happening! He heard the candle hitting the table, but his gaze was LOCKED on the misty face figure. This was, so cool.

The only problem with all of this was, he had WAY TOO MANY QUESTIONS. Questions was what he was best at, and in this moment, there was no stemming to flow of thier formation in his head. WHAT was he going to ask? Or more to the point... how many could he ask?

"Mister Morgan, is there a heaven? ..... and a hell?" he asked to begin with. Wondering if what his mother had told him was true. Of course, she couldn't have known at the time, it was what she did to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. But that was something even the threat of hell couldn't stop. But... there were more important questions.

"Have you seen my mum in the afterlife?" he asked, wondering.

Was it possible to communicate with HER?

Was she... okay?

Okaaaaay, now the mist had a face and there was a floating candle. That wasn't creepy at all.

So this was Professor Cassie's grandpa. Huh. Squeezing Bay's hand for comfort, Lux stared at the spirit in front of her. There was nothing to fear; she'd be okay with her boyfriend beside her.

Thinking of a question, she finally said the first thing that came to her mind. "Mister Morgan, did you see a white light when you died?" Or was that just nonsense that muggles had come up with?

........ Thrilled? ........

Well, Professor Morgan, that was highly questionable. This Gryffindor wasn't exactly thrilled... Just confused. And very doubtful. How could a spirit knock on things? What even. This was weirder than that crying scrying stuff.

But uh as for the question. ".....Do you miss being alive?"

Was that insensitive?
